Review Zongri Bakery & Cafe - Gangtok

If you are in Gangtok simply don’t miss visiting this amazing cafe which is located on Tibet Road near the M G Road. The cafe got an amazing cosy vibe, and the ambience was too refreshing. After discussing so much with the staff I ordered a cappuccino and chocolate tart. The service was too quick as within the next five minutes after placing the order the cappuccino was on my table. The cappuccino was good but the chocolate tart was too amazing, I mean it was one of the best chocolate tarts I had in recent times. I also had a discussion with the staff regarding the culture and food of Sikkim. Overall it was an outstanding experience dining at this cute cafe. Their chocolate tart is highly recommended.

I have visited Zongri Bakery & Cafe a couple of times. It has an open airy ambiance. They have books, games like tic-tac-toe & comfortable couches to relax in. The service is quick. The selection of baked goods is decent. I would highly recommend the Baked Cheesecake!

It was delightful. The cafe was clean, airy and spacious. The staff was polite and welcoming. The food was delicious and fresh and didn't take to long to arrive. Brownie points for presentation as well. The bakery goods were especially marvellous. Would go back again if only for that. They have a good selection of drinks and beverages too. Though a tad on the higher side, its still better than most cafes n town with poor service and exorbitant prices. The only downside is that that you have to walk uphill from MG Marg for 5 to 10 mins!

All food were awesome but Chiken Parmigiana and cheesecake were the best of all. Very happy to visit here . The location of the cafe is the best where you can enjoy the food with the view of the snowy mountains.

The food and atmosphere here are very good. Hot chocolate is recommended during winter. Also their Nut Muffin is good.

I don’t know what cows the good folks of zongri are milking but that cream was crazy. I’ve never tasted fresher, more delectable cream than that anywhere and it makes everything taste so much better. The other items were just as good. Baking game strong guys. Please keep it up.

Double burger is SO big! Delicious! And flat white is perfect.

We got fresh and sumptuous food and served with immense warmth. Coffee and chocolate Eclair are must for the appetite. The best cafe to relax with good food.

Sitting arrangement was very impressive.. delicious salad, tasty juice and price were reasonable..

Zongri Bakery & Cafe is awesome! I never expected but it is really yummy😋 delicious and healthy. I can say that one of the best Bakery & cafe in Sikkim as well as in india and world. Once you can taste then you can realize it. Enjoy the #Zongri Bakery & Cafe.

Zongri was my afternoon base for a week. Worked here, read here and wrote here. All with a fantastic cappuccino (the swan head was a piece of work) and a delish dark choc tart. Occasional peep out at the mountains. Plus, may I add, the most lovely staff.

A delightful place. Such courteous staff, fantastic food and drinks in a very nice ambience. We had the vietnamese spring rolls, thinking it will be some fried stuff, but instead it was a very healthy roll of greens in thin rice based sheet (I think). The pesto pasta was one of the best I have ever had, and mocktails like the peach ice tea were amazing too. This place delivered beyond expectations, and is away from the huge crowds of the MG Road too, will definitely go again.

After a long ride back from Lachung just bumped into this cafe. We were greeted and welcomed by the wonderful smiling staff. We had Pepperoni pizza, Peach iced tea and Iced Latte. It was amazing, special mention to the Peach Iced tea. This cafe is way better than the popular ones at MG Road. Give it a try, you’l not be disappointed.

Is this the best cafe in Gangtok? Yes. Is this the best cafe in Sikkim? Also yes. Is this the best cafe in India? Possibly. Great ambience - Zongri had a bright Christmassy vibe in December. Wonderful wait staff willing to customize your order if necessary. The highlight was of course the food - the Cream of Mushroom Soup was thick and warming on a cold, wintry day. The sliders were just perfect - a soft fluffy bun, and the freshest ingredients used. If you want to know what heaven tastes like, do give Zongri a visit.
