Review Udupi Krishna Restaurant - Ghaziabad

Have been there multiple times over the years. Recently the interiors have been redone. The ambience is basic. The food is okay but not consistent. You got to be lucky. Options are many, from South Indian to Chinese. If the owners are reading this, some good music and more groomed and trained staff could do wonders. Edit: 14Dec19 Another visit here and Special mention to the person who served us amid all this rush on that day. From finding the table to getting the order in time. Made me improve the rating. Edit: 26Mar23 Good experience. Again, the service was good and the food was also nice. Special mention to the crispiness of the dosa and abundant stuffing inside.

I must say food here is very delicious and yummy 😋. Must visit this place in Ghaziabad. If I talk in terms of presentation and ambience, it's okay But if I talk in terms of food and taste, I would rate them 11 out of 10. They have North Indian food, Chinese food as well and South Indian is their USP.

This is the first time I had gone there, after listening a lot about this place. It was nice experience. The order was served in very short time. The staff was very polite and as all we know Udupi Krishna famous for South Indian, their Dosa were awesome. The food was very good one. The dal makhni also tasted Good. The food was very heavy that it was hard to finish it. In short, one should must try their dosa.

I celebrated my parents 28th anniversary in Krishna Restaurant where my father used to take us when we were kids and the food was fresh and tasty, loved the atmosphere

Udupi is a South Indian restaurant which serves South Indian, North Indian, Chinese and street style food. I've tried few starters and my favourite was chaap. I've also tried Its dal makhni, chaap sabzi, Naan, butter masala dosa, utaapam, Pav bhaji and Vada. They were decent or you can say amazinggg. Posting pics also.

Very few good old family restaurants are left nowadays in the city, definitely one of them. Must try out their dosa.

Dosa served by this restaurant is one of the best in Ghaziabad. I tried Idli chaat and Tandoori momos also here, they were just average in taste. Actually waste of money. But dosa was really good.

The Palak Paneer Dosa at this place is just fantastic. Many of the Gen-Z crowd would think who in the world would want to have a Dosa made of palak paneer but you must give it a try once. Its one of the oldest restaurants in the town and after the recent renovations they have done its just a fantastic place to be specially for South Indian delicacies

Reviewing for navyug market joint. Always used to and still visit with family whenever I can. Masala dosa is good and so is the sambhar here (which is the main thing). Highly recommended.

From my childhood I went to this place this place has lot of memories attached to my childhood I just love their Mysore masala dosa and my muma papa love their rava masala dosa it is a very good place if u want to dine with family ambience now they refurbished so now it quite good Nd their service is nice so u can go and enjoy your dinner with family .

The place used to be an amazing outlet for south-indian fans like me but lately I have experienced some quality issues. The dishes served are cold and the servers don't pay heed. Dosa was better than idli (it was bit hard) and sambhar was okay.<br/><br/>Need to upgrade the service to see it buzzing again.

An all time favourite for my family! Go here to enjoy tasty , hygienic and affordable food . We ordered paneer tikka masala , dal makhani and mattar mushrooms with tandoori butter naan . Everything was delicious and will definitely go again .

Went their couple of times but i found the same taste every time. A must try outlet for south indian food lovers. Tried their rava paneer dosa and masala dosa and dahi bada everything is good in taste.

I ordered south indian andDosa was pathetic,it was stinking, some paper kind of smell.all dosas were wasted. Sambhar idli and uthpam was good.Paneer tikka had so much orange color in it..i have been here quite a time..it never disappoints...but today i am so disappointed!!

Food : We had ordered Special Masala Dosa, Paneer Dosa, Vanilla Soda Shake, Badam Milk. Everything was damn good. Specially the dosa, the sambhar and the two types of chutneys. Food is great as always, have visited with family several times in past. This time visited with friends and sticked to south indian cuisine only. We visited the restaurant early so got our choosen spot and had some long conversations till tha place got over crowded. Had a great time and food.

Basically it is a south Indian restaurant. They also serve north Indian dishes. It is a family restaurant, not decor in a fancy style. They have moderately priced their dishes which is suitable to anyone's pocket.

Udupi is best known for south indian food. Their food is very tasty and ambience is also nice . Their rates , staff and service is equally decent.

Nothing called hygiene, I saw a cat coming out of kitchen, and when I confronted the manager he was like “it is only a cat” he did not even knew how to talk to customers, highly NOT recommended

We usually visit here for dosa’s but now dosa quality has been degraded , as after asking manger that they have changed the chief they refused and we ordered 4 dosas one was half baked another 2 are totally burned only one dosa was normal.. but taste was very bad.. they served burner dosa and even refused to give the complaint book..even manger dn’t came up with any solution not even he was sorry for the poor quality of food served and not even came up with any discount or anything... now i will not prefer to visit again and even dn’t recommend my dear ones to visit there for dosa at least...

They are good at Dosas and Idli. <br/><br/>I would recommend their masala dosa, mysore rava masala dosa. Do not go after the paneer stuffed dosas as first it is not how a Dosa should ideally be eaten and secondly it was not as good as the rava masala doasa I ate. Try the dahi vada too, pretty good it is. Best part is their Sambhar and Coconut White Chutney! <br/><br/>North Indian items are just fine if not best. Having eaten there since my school days I cannot complain a lot.

The best south indian in town? <br/>Well it is here you will get the best of south indian .not only south indian but north indian cuisine here is very good. Some of my personal favorites in north indian cuisine are<br/>1) paneer tikka masala this is just simply awesome one of its kind i mean its taste is just mouth watering 2) dal makhani etc.<br/>Overall snacks are also good and most importantly it is value for money restaurant so you should surely try it once

A place where you can get delicious South Indian food but not North Indian..They serve delicious dosas..and idli sambhar..with many varieties but not good North Indian food..If you're a South Indian food lover then this is the place for you..to go at a very reasonable prices..

Best place to have dosa ! <br/>Specially I recommend to try there rava masala dosa its actually very good and I can guranteed you that after tasting their dosas you will also feel the same .<br/>But their service is a bit late .

I alongwith wife visited to have Mysore dosa & onion tomato uthapam. <br/>Unlike our earlier visits, The food had no authentic taste, it was cold tasteless. Even the Sambhar & coconut chatney were bland. <br/>It appears the chef has been replaced by somebody novice.<br/>Presently a visit is not recommended.

Had a brilliant evening with family at Udupi. We ordered Masala Dosa, Butter Masala Dosa, Tandoori Roti, Malai Kofta and Paneer Mushroom.<br/>The staff room 15mins to start serving us food post ordering which I felt was a little longer but given the amount of customers there were I won't complain. But when the food arrived we just couldn't stop. Malai Kofta was the best and melted the moment I ate it. Udupi is known for dosas so no doubt they were good. All in a nice evening spent for only Rs 930!<br/>I'm taking 1/2 point just for seating. The chairs were small without much back support.

Loving the food since the last many years. Tried the dahi vada - just yum! And had masala dosa, mysore rava masala dosa and mysore paneer rava dosa. It is a very nice restaurant located in main market with ample parking space. Seating arrangement was good and I ordered masala dosa for myself. Service Wise it was also very good but dosa prices seems to me on the higher side.

It is the oldest restaurant for south indian dishes in Ghaziabad. Located at Navyug Market (earlier Urvashi Cinema Hall used to be there), it has always been a favorite place for the family who wants to enjoy south indian dosas here. I had visited this restaurant many times with my family when I was a child and also happened to visit this place last week with my brother. No doubt the taste still exists.

my father has been coming here since his childhood and i have been coming here since i was born so yes i love this place it has a cozy ambience, interiors are old but i don't mind until i am getting good food. This three floored south Indian family restaurant specialises in south and north indian food. Their pizzas and soups will taste homemade (which i like). even their chinese won't disappoint you. yes sometimes disaster happens but never when it comes to dosa i have tried most of them and special masala dosa is a must try. masala dosa and onion uthapam are my all time favourites. hara bhara kabab is not good so i didn't order any kabab after that if you like any do comment below. their service is remarkable i must say on holidays sometimes all three floors are jam packed and yet they manage to provide good quality food on time. This is the best place for you if you belong to an economy class joint family with everybody having different taste buds from children to oldies no one will go back disappointed by the food here.

Tastewise great, specially unique taste of sambhar, service was good but the air condition not covered to all the tables on first floor, interior was too old and the ambience was missing you should play some music for better ambience.

Really Nice and delicious food ,good for a family visit and that too at affordable cost,but they take some extra time for delivering,No parking facility,Even the ground floor setup has been old and doesn't looks very good,but the 1st floor is awesome.

I ordered Masala Dosa, Veg Biryani and Gulab Jamun. Food is really awesome. The only thing which i didn't like is the fixed minimum amount of the order i.e. 400/-. Also the person who took the order was quite rude. I requested him if he can reduce the minimum order price as i live within a km of the restaurant and the food might get waste, he simply said- then you can come and take your order from here only.<br/>Also the delivery boy told me that you could have placed the order of 300/-, as your place is very near from the restaurant.

For sure it is value for money.I have to Udupi at least 4 times. Service is good. Ambience is just OK.But the USP is it's south Indi@an food. One of the best I suppose in NCR. My favourite from this place is palak panner dosa. Stuffed with good amount of panner and palak and on top of it a cube of butter.I also tried kadhi paneer and yellow dal and that was good too.

Since childhood this is one of my favourite restaurant. It serves delicious and hot south indian food. The ambience is perfect. This is a place worth visiting!!

Well first things first this restro stands out in Ghaziabad providing authentic taste to residents from it seems ages to me when hardly any worthwhile place was present so kudos to them for that. They serve South Indian and North Indian equally well that is their speciality I feel. I love their Malai Kofta and Mysore Masala dosa anyday. All their dishes that I  have tried over a period of time were quality preparations beyond doubt. Must visit for a dinner with family. Service and ambience standard nothing very exceptional.

A quiet South Indian restaurant. Went there for family dinner and I was much disappointed with the quality of food served here as I had heard many positive comments.<br/>So, we ordered a masala dosa, idli sambhar, masala dosa and paneer rawa dosa.<br/>Paneer rawa dosa was disgusting, it was not paneer in filling, rather 'chhaina' and it tasted awful. <br/>Rest was also okay, not something that I would die for. <br/>The only yummy thing was the sambhar.

I have been searching for a close to genuine south india eatery and i found it not in naivaidyam or sagar ratna but this old time classic place. Still maintaining an aura and ambience of a nice, neat and clean small family place. Amazing preparations. Everything is worth a try. A definite and must visit place.

It still carries that old world charm when our generation had just started going out for family dinners and such places just stick to your memory. Very neat and clean and courteous staff, an aberration in Ghaziabad. Dosa are definitely THE dish but most of the items are in the top list when compared to the restaurants in the city.

This restaurant is famous for its South Indian food, however their North Indian is equally good. I have been to this place many times. I visited this place few days back and ordered butter masala dosa which was good as usual.

This is one of the amazing south Indian eateries in Ghaziabad. The dishes have a very traditional and authentic touch. My all time favourite includes Rava paneer masala dosa :D A very thin crispy layer stuffed with paneer and topped with loads of butter gives it a very fine texture and aroma. My father used to take me to this restaurant in navyug market during my childhood days. I like their dosas, uttapam, veg chowmein, fresh lime, milkshake. I had also tried their dal makhni, pav bhaji, chole bhature, pizza. Everything is good. But I don't like their paneer dishes and thalis. They both are pathetic. The ambience is neat and clean. The place is suitable for family dinners.

Udupi has been my family's all time favorite restaurant for time immemorial now. With tons of birthdays and special occassions been enjoyed here, i only have good things to say about this place :)<br/>There's ample of aprking space outside so no worries on that front. Once you're in, there are two options - north indian and south indian sections. They have opened the basement section few years back and offer good north indian food along with some chinese and italian dishes too. <br/>But if you're here, I recommend try the south indian food, they have the best dosas in ghaziabad! Even the variety is huge from paper dosa to coconut dosa and so many more. The waiters are polite and very efficient. Your table wont ever be without extra boels of chutney and piping hot sambhar! <br/>Must try are the rava masala dosa, mysore dosa and dahi wada ( simply delicious with shavings of ginger and capsicum on top)<br/>Do try whenever you're in this area. You'll definitely thank me :)
