Review Amritsari Express - Ghaziabad

Rachita Kapoor
One of the best places to have North Indian food. Their Amritsari chur chur naan is mind blowing. So is Rajma, kadhi, veg handi pulao & kesar lassi. The head Mr. Bobby is very cooperative and takes good care of customers. Value for money and highly recommended place.

Ordered Navratri food here. It was good and nicely presented. The staff is also good and cooperative.

I went there last week, and we ordered Aloo Pyaz chur chur naan with Chhole.. and it was delicious.. They served it with Raita, Onion and some chutney... It's taste was nice.. They took around 15 minutes to prepare our order..

Have tried a few times in the past too! But yesterday's late night delivery was a surprise all together! Happiness in the package!!! Firstly the delivery was on time! So dinner at 9 which is a ritual at home became all the more happening!!! The Makki Roti-Sarson ka Saag combi is like a must have from this outlet! The flavours are full on Punjabi and served with a little bit of jaggery to get the heavy food digested well!!! Outstanding Gobhi Pyaaz & Aloo Pyaaz Kulchas mixed totally well with Amritsari Choley and Pyaaz waali chutney. Every member of my family including me stopped talking while enjoying the meal!!! They were actually that good as if you were having them from a stand alone outlet up north. I specially ordered the superficial Super Deluxe Thaali for myself with a choice of Maa Parantha as a bread too. Choley, Paneer Makhni and Mix veg were served on it in small amounts! It was an outstanding experience altogether indeed!!! The food is first class and I haven't had better veg dishes than this from ordering at home for a long time. Try it on as early as possible!!!

This place is one of the best option available in pacific mall food court for veg north indian food. I ordered thali from this place and it was good. The stuff naan was very good Infact. It was soo crispy and flaky with ample amount of filling. Cholle and paneer went well with the naan. Though it's not the best North Indian food, but according to food court standard it was pretty decent and it is priced normally.

Please do not ever order from this place, they sent stale daal, half cooked and old kucha, the quantity was way too less and the gulab jamun's syrup had leaked and spoiled everything. Refrain from ordering to save yourself from a pathetic meal experience.
Nidhi Ahuja
The thali that we ordered amounted to โ‚น250 but was not worthy at all!!! The quality of food was really pathetic. The boondi raita just seemed like water. The dal makhani seemed not cooked properly. The naan was served without butter. When we asked for chutney - we were told it got over!

Please stop spoiling the name of Amritsar โ€“ which is in Punjab โ€“ and symbolises best quality food!!!

A well organized place to visit with friends and family. I ordered for the Thalis. It included naans, roti, shahi paneer, kadahi paneer, chole, dal makhni. Food was up-to mark. Must visit and try them out.

We have ordered thai. That includes two naan one chur chur naan and aloo naan with dal makhani and panneer butter masala raita papad achar and gulab jamun. All are very good in taste and freshness. So guys must try a meal there in pacific mall food court.

Great place serving a good variety of unique recipes. The food tastes amazing so you can experiment and ditch the regulars. Would recommend for family dinner or get togethers. The staff is also friendly and overall it was a good experience.

Never experienced this type of food in my whole life.
No salt in Dal makhani, no white chole in chola bhatura, boiled rajma serve. Such a waste experience, I never suggest to eat food or order food it's my humble request. Manager was arguing when I complained about. They don't know who they deal with costumer.

They mentioned combo meal with soft drinks but soft drinks are not available.

This is really strange for me to write this bad review after writing such a good one below, exactly a year ago. While we do frequent this place every time we are in Pacific Mall, this time the experience was quite bad. My parents and grandparents both had visited for a meal to be soooo badly disappointed. They were served tasteless, halfcooked chhole which made everyone sick in the stomach with a pain needing medicine. To make it worse the person at the counter being straight face non-responsive was least concerned about the complaint forget being sorry about it. Don't eat here guys, look for a better place. It may be low on the business, but a truly sad change of experience over one year time.

This was my review on 12 Feb, 2018:ย

I have never eaten such quality and tasty Naans. Most of the naans that are sold in Delhi are bad in quality for the Maida used but the Chur chur naans that these guys serve are excellent, just pick any of the variety, blindly. The chutney served with the naan platter is one of the tastiest things on earth ;) absolutely loved the food, the daal, the chhole and i am sure other things also that i didn't try. Awesome food and excellent service. Loved it! go for it!!

On a Saturday evening at 7PM, if you inform your customers that only Chhole Bhature and Biryani is available, and nothing else would be available, that's a bad sign for the business!

Anyhow, we ordered Chhole Bhature from the outlet. Bhature were nice and fluffy, however chhole lacked that much needed spiciness that you'd expect normally. The onions dipped in some tangy Chutney tasted absolutely amazing!

I never have high hopes from a food court but I had been craving a Chur Chur Naan for quite some time and when I saw this on the Menu , I ordered one quickly .
I was quite happy with the naan , in terms of taste , it could have been crunchier and thicker and butterier but I was satisfied.
We had a choice of Rajma or MAkhani Dal to accompany the Naan, Boondi Raita and chutney and onions were also served .
Great value for money !Must try !!

I ordered chole bathure but it was pathetic especially chole they were tasteless. Bad experience for the day. From my side a big NO to Amritsari Express.

Celebrated my Son's birthday in December'17 and it was a great experience. Service was awesome. When I informed that we are about 12 people and want to celebrate birthday with Amritsari Express, service manager "Mr. Sunil" shown personal interest to make the event a memorable one.

Very good food quality, fast service, courteous staff and overall a great experience.

!!! VALUE FOR MONEY !!!

Highly recommend to be there in food court in Pacific Mall and give them a chance to serve you.

Ordered a plate of choley bathure.. And i hadn't eaten such worse Choley bathure.. At such a premium food chain. They r creep and a total waste of money. Bathure were dipped and filled with lots of oil.. And r not even crispy. Worst decision to order from this chain.

We had thali yesterday. All dishes were tasty. Each portion was enough and value for it. You can try Stuffed Kulcha here. Mix veg is a dish to try after kulcha. Hope to visit the restaurant again.
Ashish Ranjan
Tried its super deluxe thaali and amritsari handi biryani and nothing was close to good. Thaali lacked taste if you compare it with any other outlet's thaali. It was insipid food over there. So try it at your own risk.

Okay okay place for having food in Pacific mall food court. Chale bhature and mango lassi was fabulous. One of the few vegetarian restaurants i would really recommend. I had a movie to catch but thankfully the service was quick.

The food court of Pacific mall has a number of north Indian outlets and amongst the ones i have eaten at, this has to be the worst. I was looking out for dinner in the food court when i saw a really tempting thali at their counter, so i ordered the very same- Super Deluxe Thali. It had chur chur naan, aloo pyaz kulcha, rajma, shahi paneer, mix veg, jeera rice, mix veg raita, chutney, salad and a gulabjamun. While the aloo pyaz kulcha was very good, the chur chur naan was not chur chur naan, it was more like a dry lacha parantha. Rajma had gone sour and for shahi paneer they poured its gravy in the plate and put two small paneer pieces on top of it. Mix veg had too much oil. Overall, a pretty disappointing meal.

It is situated in the food court of pacific mall. The place offers some authetic Punjabi and north Indian food.I ordered Chhole Bhature and Vegetarian Thali.

The Chhole were laden with oil and the bhature were huge in size and crispy. The dal makhni and aaloo pyaj kulcha presented along with the thali was also good in taste.

My key recommendations here include paneer kulcha and aaloo pyaj kucha. You can complement your food with some refreshing beverages like mango lassi, kesari lassi or masala lassi.

A good place to eat in the Pacific mall.

Amritsari express is on 2nd floor food court of Pacific mall kaushambi.they serves good north indian food.being a frequent visitor in this mall there are not much options available rather than food court and a couple of outlets as well. Food Tastes good and worth trying its kinda average. Paneer pasanda and malai koftas were nice.

When I am out to watch a movie or do some shopping in the Pacific Mall, Kaushambi, the food court is an easy option for dinner. Attracted by its name, I decided to eat something from this place among too many other north Indian outlets in the food court. I ordered and Aloo-Pyaj Kulcha Platter and Rajma-Rice. Bothe tasted quite average. I dint find them either fresh or tasty. Disappointed.
Navnitrtjain
Amazing food, best kulcha and chur chur naan. Also try their new lassi of rose flavour and kesari flavour. Also new dish kullhad chawal is out of world.
Akshay Gupta
Coming straight to the food as there is nothing to talk about its ambience being located in the food court. We ordered the amritsari thali comprising of amritsari naan, kulcha, dal makhani and chole and it was relishing. The naan especially was extremely crispy and had a pure punjabi touch on it. All in all it was worth every penny.
Rock On
Yesterday dinner i decided to go for amritsari Express because this my last day for diฤบlhi name is beautiful and alsoo maฤบl+ food court area ... we oderd amritsari thali with coke ...
Foood was taste less i think westage of money...one an only paratha was good everything has been average...
It was soo bad exprience..for me...
Neha Rastogi
Extremely disappointed with the restaurant. First and foremost the number mentioned is not the number of the outlet so I had to call another number. The outlet number was picked up by some ill mannered man who was not taught even the basic curtsey that when a customer calls you are supposed to not dissconnect the call in the middle of the conversation. When I called again the person on the other end tells me that the home delivery cannot be done as they dont have anyone to deliver the food. When i tried to ask him if that was the case then why didnt he tell me when i had called just a min back, the obnoxious ill mannered man again disconnected the call. After this experience I would definitely not order srom amritsari express. I dont know how was he allowed to deal wih customers if he doesnt even have the basic manner and the basic coutsey while dealing with a customer.

Since this eatery is located in the food court, there's nothing to talk about when it comes to ambience.

Our order :
* Veg Thali 3.5/5
The naans were warm and soft, and daal makhni as well as mixed vegetable were pretty good. Paneer was over sweetened and had a funny taste. Gulab jamun was nice - warm and dissolving in the mouth. Overall, the quantity is good, and food turns out satisfactory for the price (around 250 bucks).

* Veg Biryani 4/5
Even though it wasn't strong on the authentic flavors, the biryani was actually pretty good. I wouldn't mind eating it again!

Negatives
1. Curd served with the food was too watery. But even then, tasted alright, like your homemade "raita", except ofcourse much more water-like.
2. Salad served wasn't the best - though fresh, cucumber and onions were bitter.
3. The "amritsari kulcha" served in thali feels more like a typical homemade aloo parantha.

Final Verdict
I don't think the food court at Pacific Mall is worth going to honestly, but if you're in a rush or are tired from shopping and want an easy solution, I would say this restaurant is decent enough to spend at.
