Excellent food,service and very much polite and flexible in every way. Very taste food just awesome in traditional Bengali tastes. Quality and quantity both r good as compared to prices. Too good in every respect . Appreciated by each and every guests.

just awesome tasting food. fish thali is a must try. my mom also became a fan of them. see they didn't promise for a restaurant setup, this is a delivery model. so.... delivery meets the promise. but food is amazingly awesome.😋😋😋😋

Egg devil is awesome, other items are ok. No sitting place, only a take away joint. The kitchen needs to be a bit more clean.

Good bengali cuisines at a nominal rate...

Today I visited @calcutta. This is pure Bengali restaurant in Gaziabad. I take a non veg thali. It has Dal, sabji, potato chips, chatni, and ruhu fish. Overall quality is good. But there has no proper sitting arrangements.

A sweet bengali place, authentic mustard sos. Has good starters in form of chops and fish fry, i tried the mutton chop was gud. I also tried Katla fish curry and malaicurry which were decent too. Just a little difficult to locate, at gate no.8 basement market. If you crave for bengali food it is a must try then.

Amazing spicy Bengali food. But if you wanna personal touch, call them and express they make sure you get what you love in Bengali food.

Wanted to eat some good fish dishes and I got them here. The service was quick and the food was good but what they lack are proper seating arrangements to dine in there.

The rolls here are nice, doesn't makes you feel heavy like most egg and chicken rolls available in most of NCR.

I am eating and ordering from @calcutta from last so many years and never found any issues with quality or quantity. Just awesome Bengali dishes.

Ordered Katla curry through zomato. The packaging was ok. Curry was ok a little bland for my taste. Fish was properly cooked with ok freshness. I have tasted better, but not bad if you crave Bengali dishes and you don't want to cook fish yourself. Wish there were more better option like maa Kali in guwahati with umpteen options of fish😁.

What a waste of money. ordered kolkata chicken biryani. just adding gopal jol kewra jol dim and aloo doesn't make kolkata biryani. you simply doesn't know the recipe. I can make a better one and ready to prove. Being a bong I Made fool of myself ordering bong food from you.

Ordered fish fry. Too much oily. Fish quality was not good. No salad or chutney with the order which is too strange. Chicken chilli was so so.

Rohu fish curry was too good

The only reason i like Bengali biriyani is because of aalu and egg along with chicken. And @Calcutta has met that expectation. Trust me i got that calcutta wala taste in their biriyani. Fellas go ahead and taste this dish too. Not all hotels or restaurants can make good raita but @Calcutta made me praise this one too. Just last thing to add please send onion salads along with the item. The entire package of gulping the tasty dish will fulfill with this. Kudos to the cook ....

Ordered fish thali as was craving for some authentic bengali food . Loved the dhokar dalna however less oil would have made it taste better. Fish was very fresh and the pieces were generously big. The curry of course was great ,Dal and chutney again were good. Quantity of all the items I must say was good. The only disappointing factor was the menu includes bhaja but what I received was papar fry . Being a bengali I would understand bhaja to be either potato or brinjal or may be any other vegetable but not papar. I still rated them as 5 because of the other factors mentioned above . Keep up the good work . Loved the food and I hope the restaurant would work on the feedback<br/>

@Calcutta is a small restaurant serving Bengali cuisine in Shipra Riviera Market in Indirapuram. There is very good demand of good quality authentic Bengali food in Indirapuram and it's nearby areas owing to the vast number of Bengalis residing here and @Calcutta tries to make up for this demand. A good place to have some snacks or get it ordered. Visit or order at least once to give it a try.<br/><br/>Location: Not easy to locate as it is quite a small shop and that too in the basement area of the market.<br/><br/>Ambiance: Not so great, just a small shop with an order counter in a shopping complex.<br/><br/>Seating: Just couple of plastic stools and table if you are interested in having the food here.<br/><br/>Food: Good variety in food specially snacks like Devils, Chops, Cutlets, Fries etc. Quantity is really good and at par with what you get in C.R.Park. Quality wise they have still to catch up but yes it is good. Radhaballavi and Luchi's are done on sunday breakfasts. Had ordered Egg Devil and Chicken Chop and both were really on the higher side of spicy.<br/><br/>Price: All items are priced as you will find in other Bengali fast food restaurants specially in CR Park.<br/><br/>Overall a nice place to get some good and authentic Bengali food in a good budget. Definite try at least once and you will not regret.

ORDER NO.- 1081775034, Aug 29th 2018. My entire dinner was destroyed. I hail from West Bengal and this is the worst bengali food I ever had. Prawns were not washed properly and I could feel dust particles while chewing. It wasn't properly cooked and bland in taste. I ordered posto prawns and the prawns smelled like it's kept in fridge for longer duration and smelled awful. It cost me around 300 bucks and this was not what I paid for. <br/><br/>Overall experience 0/10 because of the quality of the food and ingredients used.

Good bengali option. Ordered Chicken and Chicken biryani along with 2 dishes of egg. All of the dishes gave perfect bengali taste. Keep it up.

Ordered chicken roll & fried rohu fishes. Chicken roll was fully stuffed with egg & chicken. Taste wise it was all right. Chicken taste could be improved I felt. I instructed them to provide green chillies which they didn't provide. The fish was fresh but once again it was a small weighted rohu fish for whom you can't separate gada & peti pieces. Even for Katla Kalia they provide this kind of hole wala fish. I would recommend the management to buy big sized rohu/katla fishes for whom gada & peti pieces can be separated. Those fishes taste much better than the ones this restaurant curently provides.

The moghlai paratha was not how a bengali chicken moghlai paratha is supposed to be. The outer layer shouldn't be so hard and thick.

Try their vegetable chop and cutlets if you are looking for taste of Bengal or Orissa. BEST I’ve ever had in all of NCR. Their packing was awesome and the snacks were delivered hot. Their mustard sauce was also very good.

Hopeless dahi rohu curry. Raw onion gravy and smelly spices, undercooked and salt totally forgotten!!! Total waste of money. Not at all recommended.

Ordered the fish thali for lunch today as it was listed in bestsellers. Delivery was on time, packaging was good. Quantity was superb!! The thali contained Rui macher kalia which was not upto the mark. That's why i gave 3*. It had to be the star of the thali but the curry was watery and not much tasty. 2 generous pieces of fish were good though. Absolutely loved the Dhokar dalna!! perfect gravy and taste. Aloo bhaja can never be bad. Daal was good and the chutney was osum!! Rice was properly cooked and great in quantity.<br/><br/>Overall i would give the experience 7.5/10 as the main dish of the thali lacked taste.

Okay, so my folks were away for some time and I decided to be a bit adventurous. Finding this place on the net, I thought of ordering from here.<br/><br/>The order: Chicken thali with an additional plate of Rohu curry.<br/><br/>What I got: Rice, dal, one vegetable, four pieces of chicken, dates-tomato-raisin chutney and 1 papad. And two pieces of Rohu.<br/><br/>Taste: The rice was basmati, a bit stiff, but okay. Since I do not like bland and watery dal, I didn't like it. The highlight of the meal was the raw banana kofta curry which was really very good. I liked the fish curry, too, though I like to add a teaspoon of sugar in my fish curry. This one didn't have any hint of sugar. But cooked with moderate spices, the gravy was quite delightful. I was almost full by this time, so just had a leg piece from the chicken. It was a bit rubbery and the gravy could have been better. My eyes sparkled with sheer pleasure when I tasted a spoon of that delectable chutney. You guys just rocked a veg curry and an awesome chutney.<br/><br/>Packing: Fine. Quantity: decent<br/><br/>Recommend: Yes. But this place should pull up their socks for the dal and chicken curry.

They don't know how to make Bengali egg roll. I would suggest them to visit CR Park in Delhi. Few days back chicken curry was having hard & raw chicken pieces. Also egg curry was heavily oily

Honestly, being from east India and a truebleu fish lover. At calcutta is a life saver for me in ghaziabad. Must haves: fish finger, aloo posto, dhokar dalna, rohu kaali and paabda tel boro. You cant complain after these items.

I tried fish pakora from for the first time<br/>And believe me it was the worst experience i ever had<br/>It was not even fresh.After eating it i felt like vomiting.I suggest never ever try it.

Ordered for 2 plates of Pabda fish curry hoping to be delicious as was found in our earlier order placed with them. But on lunch if you get your plates with flat and unpalatable stale-like dish what'd you feel? Very carelessly cooked.

I have ordered from this restaurant and we ordered mutton curry , bone less, chicken korma and daal dokha I don’t remember exact bengoli names of these dishes one of my ordered it. Overall Food was very delicious and aromatic. I was very satisfied with the traditional taste but still crave for the food 🥘 sometimes.<br/>

Ordered boneless bengali fish curry..what came was a red chilli curry with 2 pieces of fish..so please be prepared for extra spices which spoils the taste and was no way close to Bengali fish curry..food is spicy with no taste at all..would have given -1 but couldn't..as zomato dont allow..

Ordered online food from the Bengali cuisine @Calcutta ..tried their famous Chicken khosa & rohu fish curry.<br/><br/>Received the order on time..the food was very oily,had to throw excess oil one can see in the pictures attached.The chicken curry was spicy with blend of garam masalas .The taste was quite different and nice,the pieces were cooked properly.<br/><br/>About the fish curry ,the fish curry was okay nothing great about it.<br/><br/><br/>As for the pricing the prices are budget friendly,a meal for two will cost you around a Rs500-600/- depending on the food items you have ordered.<br/><br/>Pointed to be noted ,they take delivery charge of Rs 50/ ,apart from the taxes and Gst included in your bill.<br/><br/>Overall a decent place to try something authentic.

The biriyani was ok. It had too much elaichi and laung in it, which kind of ruined the taste. Delivery time and packing needs to be worked upon.

Ordered typical bengali dishes like shorshe macchh, mangsho kosha..<br/>Reminds me of taste similar to hotels at Esplanade Kolkata..<br/>Mangsho kosha could be better with larger mutton chaap pieces. Masala was authentic and balanced.<br/>👍👌

The biriyani I had just ordered, was bland to be very frank... I mean the chicken part was okay but the rice was absolutely tasteless and dry. The egg was also similarly dry and the potato was dry as well. Bengali biriyanis aren't as dry and tasteless. I believe the chicken was done separately, as it had nice flavors and a good texture... <br/>Biriyani isn't supposed to be prepared like that...until the juices of the chicken are absorbed by the rice, how is it gonna taste good?

New place , wanted to try something new. Craving for fish decided to try o Calcutta. The order was delayed but saved by the zomato team chat and also gave credits for the delay. Only late by 30 mins and understandable. I was hoping for hot piping fish curry. Finally the order came. Opened it and boy what a treat. Fish perfectly cooked and gravy is just right. Good piece of potato. The bones did not separate which is good. The rice quality can be slightly better but no complaints. Quantity was perfect and the spice level is moderate. They could have added onion slices to accompany fish. Overall I would recommend for fish lovers. Thanks Zomato team for making my experience awesome as always

Just tasted their EGG Devil, Fish Finger, Moglai Porontha and Mutton Biriyani! One word, just delicious. Authentic Bengali taste and flavour.  Must recommended to all the Probashi Banaglis in Delhi NCR to satiate their taste buds with flavours from Kolkata. And all the Non Bengalis out there, if you want to taste the real Bengali Cuisine at reasonable rates, this is the place to visit.

Horrible Biryani delivered today.under cooked with bad quality rice with stale egg to boot! To add to the pathetic taste, the entire Biryani smelled of mustard oil!! In which world is a Biryani made with mustard oil??

I had ordered mutton biryani from them. It was well cooked and the taste was good . The mutton was cooked well and overall the experience was satiating. One of the better biryanis I have had in Indirapuram. The staff and service was on point. If you are missing Calcutta food, then this is the place for you.

Rohu Shorshe, Chicken Shorshe, chicken Curry are a gem here! The taste of the food is authentic Bengali at very affordable prices. I suggest everyone should try it out.
