This is a restaurant, which is in quite interior of cornered area of Kaushambi. The ambience and decor are not quite very nice. It's just like any other ordinary restaurant, but the FOOD IS AMAZING. I have been visiting this place for quite a long time now. The food is very cheap and taste is good. North Indian here tastes best. The service is good and fast. The staffs are very polite.More of an ordinary family restaurant. I would recommend a takeaway if food is your main aim. :D

Paner dishes and naan best and most importantly they maintain good hygiene and rates are also quite good no one can cook paneer butter masala better than them...
Okay, long story short :
a) Good quantity with reasonable prices.
b) Average decor & customer service
c) Good food (nonveg & veg) but not great.

Highlight of this place = good food at low costs( when compared to other mughlai restaurants) . The quantity and taste of food is pretty good regarding the rate.
Try their special items, they are the best in menu. I had beliram chicken and keema meat, both were in good spicy and chunky gravy....do try.
This place is not meant for family dine in, or frankly it is not suitable at all for dine in...so just either order or take out.

We North Indians have a very peculiar habit of judging the food that we have. The habit of giving preference to mughlai food over vegetarian is something that almost all the north Indian non-vegetarians have. I too belong to a similar category, and manage to eat almost all the items of mughlai cuisine this city has to offer. Chawla’s had been on my list for a long time till I eventually decided to visit it.
The ambience of the place can be described as something not so eye-catching and lively. It was similar to any other mediocre restaurant you might have visited and had nothing special worth mentioning. Although, it seemed more like a family restaurant than a place where youngsters would hangout quite often. The menu had a wide variety of non- vegetarian items and enough to baffle you in choosing your main course. As far as my choices are concerned, I ordered the following-
Beliram Chicken- Good in taste with a nice mixture of the required spices along with a decent garnishing. This dish was prepared very well by the Chawala’s. Recommended to all the spicy non- vegetarian lovers.
Handi Chicken- A great preparation indeed. Was exactly how I expect Handi chicken to be, with a proportionate mixture of spicy and tangy accompanied by a mouthwatering experience. (RECOMMENDED)
The butter nan was tender and fresh and the plain rice also seemed good.
My final words would be that if you are hanging out anywhere near the Wave Kaushambi, EDM or Mahagun mall, do visit it and you won’t regret.

This place might not appeal to you like other happening spots (look wise) but the quality of food and service is good here. If you are near Anand Vihar, Kaushambi or East Delhi, it is one of the good options for non-veg food. They serve fresh and good food in a relatively small space. The staff is very cordial and the service is prompt. The quality of food is good too. We ordered Handi Chicken and Beliram Chicken along with butter Nan and plain rice. It was just great in taste. We often go to this place for north Indian dinner whenever we have to watch a movie in Wave’s Kaushambi or shop in the malls nearby. I do recommend this place for some delectable dishes they offer. The reason why I am reviewing this restaurant is that such places offering quite good food at affordable prices must be known to everyone hanging around the pacific mall, EDM mall, Mahagun Mall and Shopprix mall near Vaishali and Kaushambi.

So me and my college friends decided to have lunch and party at chawla after our last exam (well for most of us).
Ambience: nothing stellar just a decent seating arrangement and environment.
Food: we ordered dal makhani , malai kofta, kadhai paneer which were all quite good .
We also ordered handi chicken , kadhai chicken and ofc butter chicken which were just excellent.
Service : took around 20-30 mins for order to arrive , but food was served hot and fresh
Value for money : this is where this restaurant shines , have ur appetite satisfied without breaking the bank. It is quite economical.

A hole in a wall restaurant though it has got a nice sitting place.Food is good enough and its generous portions would fill every nook of your belly.Go for tandoori items and avoid chinese.
