Review Simply South - Greater Noida

Rakesh Verma
This place is good if you want to have some tasty food. I really like it as we went specifically for South Indian food 🍱, though we ordered some north Indian food 🥘 as well. We have a toddler as well so yeah I could say it’s kids friendly as well

Good food 👍 Very simple place , hygenic . Tomato chutney , Nariyal chutney , sambar are too good 👌 . It's Our go-to place for South Indian cuisine . Frequented by families also .

It's an south Indian restaurant with vegetarian meals. One of the best south Indian cuisine in greater Noida. Don't go for the looks but for the food.

Restaurant is a delightful culinary experience! The authentic flavors of the dishes take me back to the beautiful South India. The dosas, idlis, and sambar are simply mouthwatering. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the staff is attentive and friendly. Whether you're a South Indian cuisine lover or eager to try something new, this restaurant is a must-visit. I can't wait to return for more delicious meals! 🍛🌶️🥰

Excellent authentic south indian food. Quick and polite service. The price range for all products between 100-150 approx. In case of dine in they will refill your sambhar and chutneys. There is some parking available right next to the restaurant.

Delicious south indian food joint in greater Noida.. small eatery and has 6-7 tables where max 30-35 people can sit with ease.. else you lil have to wait outside for your turn.. food is delicious and so as Sambhar.. Medu Vadas are served cold as they don't have microwave to reheat them.. parking can be an issue.

Economic place to relish authentic south Indian flavour with twist. They serve authentic as well as fusioned south Indian dishes. Cheese dosa and chocolate dosa is hit among kids. Malabari parotta is being served on weekends. Visit on weekends with extra time as waiting time may vary upto half an hour. You can stroll down the market of jagat farm for some good stuff on sale.
Mayank Kushwaha
They have variety of Dosas, and their sambar is a must try, really tasty.

It's a nice restaurant if you're looking for South food ( naam se jo pata lag raha bilkul vaisa hi hai) . It has enormous number of dishes, price and quantity is also good. I went with family and tried out rawa dosa, masala dosa as well as sambar chawal , my mammi ordered filter coffee too but it wasn't that good. Rest if you're nearby the place you can surely go here ✌

I am a big fan of North indian food....but i tried this very first because of my friend.

But Literally i would like to say i loved the food very much..
We ordered vada sambhar, masala dossa & tomatto uttapam...tomato uttapam is the one i like the most.
Prices are very much reasonable...never had South Indian food before...but after trying this...I would love to have on occasions..
Recommended place 👍
Coffeeismypoison
We ordered vadas Malabar parathas and dosas from here. The dosas, the Bhaji was excellent the Sambar was excellent the coconut Chutney and tomato Chutney were excellent the food was fairly hot but the Vada is that we had ordered had become cold and become soggy so we couldn’t eat them. We also tried the Malabar parathas which were very average so I had better. The set dosas were hard surprisingly because Set doses are usually very soft and fluffy so could you please make sure that they are very soft the next time it was akin to eating wait to let you eat I’ll like everything else and obviously we will be ordering south Indian food from here next time onwards and every time unless the quality goes down thanks for a good meal

The best place to eat south indian food..
Vasanth R Kumar
Fried Idly was just amazing with sambar and chutney, quantity was very less literally taste fulfill all things. But I totally disappointed with sambar rice because this is not a real dish.

I would never order food again from this restaurant. They are selling stale food. I ordered 2 dosa and one plate idli. I was so sour to eat and the idli was totally brown in colour. I would say avoid the food from this restaurant during Quarantine!

The food was over spicy and over salty. I have just now ordered on 5th April 7:00 pm. They can taste and check. Very bad to serve such food.
Vaibhav Viraj

Rishiraj Singh
Few days back I ordered from this restaurant and the dosa was quite good but the packaging really disappointed.... I've heard a lot about them from my friends. When it came it was cold and dosa was not stiff, I feel they can improve the packaging and I will visit the store to try out more things and then update the review ✌️

It is nice basic South Indian restaurant located in Jagat Form Market G Noida. They serve the basic south Indian fare . Gun Powder dosa is very good. Upma , Rasam are also worth trying . They need to broaden their south Indian tiffin varieties of Kannada Styling like , Cho Cho Bath, Khara Bath in order to make it more diverse.
Vinay Madan
Quality of food was just good. But delivery time was very much.
Ashish Gupta
Really decent South Indian food...!!

Shemona Safaya
We have always enjoyed South Indian delicacies from Simply South but today there was hardly any taste in the food.
Just ordered an onion masala dosa for dinner, we received the dosa along with sambar and the two chutneys. Nothing tasted good.
Shweta Kushwaha
I didn't have the change so he asked my paytm number and said that he will transfer the money in 20 minutes. It's been 27 hours but the worst is he is messaging me on whatsapp. Whenever I asked about the paytm he replied that he will do it now. I just can't understand what is he upto.
Ipsa
Many items were not the same as before, the quality of tomato rice, vegetable rice has gone down and rasam was extremely bad. Dosa was alright and the red chutney was amazing as usual but overall it was really disappointing. Please revert to your original recipes and quality.
Vikas Agrawal
One of the best outlet to eat Dosas in Delhi NCR. The rates are reasonable and the taste is superb. Masala dosa is best. Other dishes are also good.

Simply South is simply an amazing place to enjoy south indian foods with good taste & nice atmosphere. You can find friendly staffs assisting you in a good menu for the day followed by eye catchy posters of South Indian touch like the killer look of our Thalaiva Sir Rajnikanth, Kerala's pride Kathakali artist etc. A must visit place for all South Indian food lovers.

#Butter masala dosa.. What a dosa... so yummy😛 packing was good😁. Food was awesome 👌
I totally love it😍😍... Try it once.. u also love it
Saurabh Pati
A well maintained place. Now very famous in greater noida. I have tried almost each and every item on the menu upto until now. Taste feels very authentic and
southernish. Definitely the cooks are Tamil/Malayalis otherwise to achieve the southern touch is not possible.
Toyum Ete
I wish the mustard seeds were seasoned well till they turn black or else they taste bitter and spoils the entire taste of the food, in my case upma and curd rice. Dosas were fine.
Farhana Mustafa
Everything is good but sambhar was like water No dal nothing look like rasam why
Idli chutni vada was fresh
All good except sambhar
please work in it
Ashish
Experience over here was amazing.I ate paneer dosa over here and it was mouthwatering and its taste was droolsome.Simply South Special Dosa is a must try.Staff over here is also very polite and provide refilling of sambhar and chutney any number of times.Overall a must visit place.
Smonika666
Food was amazing ....
well packed
Well maintained
Quality was also good
Had a great experience with simply south
delivery was also quick....
Naman Agarwal
I had ordered the rawa masala dosa and lemon rice. The overall experience was nice. The sambhar's taste was very good. The dosa was fine..may be because it was not hot. The lemon rice could have more flavor of lemon in it. The tomato chutney was nice. But not Happy with the Coconut chutney.
Amit Yadav
Average place with average South Indian stuff. Good for students but for foodie like me not a very delicious joint. They surely need to improve on taste

Value for money that’s the reason students from nearby knowledge park throng this place. Overall if not good then they are not bad also.
Akanksha
This is the only place which serves sambhar the way I like it! Everything is just perfectly protioned meal sizes and exactly the flavour you would expect! I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Economic & Tasty! Totally worth it.
Sagun Agarwal
I love this restaurant because off its dosa awesome compare to other restaurants ... This is the best restaurant to do in South Indian dishes😋🤪🤤🤤( saambhar is so tasty 🤤👌)

Food is tasty and good packaging. I m loving the food.
Masala dosa and idli is so delicious.
But need little more on tamarind rice.
Rest all good.
A nice and spacious place in Jagat Farms matket with proper air conditioning. A basin to wash hands is present outside the premises.

Things to look out for are the tomato and coconut chutney. I loved the spicy and flavourful tomato chutney. Though sambhar was nice and hot, it was highly diluted. It felt like having vegetables in spicy flavoured water.

We ate :
1. Schezwan rawa dosa with paneer filling - tasty, but quite spicy because of their in-house schezwan sauce. Sometimes the paneer filling would be adequate and some other times sparse.

2. Southy special dosa - had 2 types of fillings:
A) potato and onion in between
B) paneer and french beans on the sides
A large piece of butter on the top made it extra special.
It was the best of the 3 orders we had!!

3. Masala paper dosa - simple masala dosa with boiled potato and onion filling. The dosa was crisp. Good to have!

Aftermath:
Though we appreciated the meal while consuming it, a feeling of lot of oil/butter intake prevailed.
Still, it was a good experience overall.
I just love South Indian food. N this is best place in Greater Noida for South Indian Food. I ordered one cheese masala dosa and one onion rawa masala dosa. Taste was soo yummy n their sambr coconut n red chutney is also yummy.
Rahul Ahuja
Well ordered for two masala dosas from this place.
The packaging was good but the dosas were not hot may be because of the delivery time.

Masala in the dosa was of real good quantity and loved the coconut chutny more than the sambhar.
Rahul Rao
This is one of the best food I have ever eaten on zomato the butter masala dosa was awesome & the bada was very crispy even the idle was very spongy it was really a great breakfast

This place serves great South-Indian food. I ordered a butter masala dosa. It tastes heavenly,as if it has been transferred to your plate straight from the land of dosas.
Dosa-5/5, crisp ,the batter is fermented as required.
Sambhar-5/5,generous amount of vegetables.
Chutney 1(coconut)-5/5
Chutney 2(tangy one)-5/5.

Very authentic South Indian food. Masala dosa and Mix veg uttapam were amazing. As were coconut chutney and sambhar. I am so glad to find this place in Greater Noida. Prices are bit higher though but again taste makes you forget the price. Best South Indian restaurant in Greater Noida

Best sambhar we had after a long time.
The food was pretty tasty.
We ordered dosa and idli, and both tasted out of the world.
Definitely recommending this place to everyone.

My parents went to this place an year or so ago, so this time we went to gr. noida, dad asked to have lunch there bcoz he liked it last time.
We ordered Mysore masala dosa, Onion Uttapama and rawa masala dosa
1. Mysore Masala Dosa: Too much dhaniya powder in that extra red layer which is applied in mysore dosas. Too much salt in the potato filling, same for sambhar as well.
2. Rawa Masala Dosa: Too oily and papad like dosa. Potato filling was same as above
3. Onion Uttapama: Only edible thing which reached our table.
Service was quick, interiors were okayish, but never going back to this place.
Chirag
Heard a lot about this outlet and ordered just a masala dosa as home delivery. The service was good, no doubt. But when it comes to food it had become very cold, like it is made 2 to 3 hours before. The dosa had become very hard and we were like not able to have a single bite of it. We hardly order dosa and prefer to eat at the restraunt only. Highly disappointed. Spoiled out mood.
Vivek Kumar
This the food was not upto the mark, as i am one the old customer of simply south i know the quality they provide. Hope they will improve the quality as same before.
Nakul Sachdeva
Its located in jagat market
The staff is polite
The ambience is alright
Service is quick
Ive tried their masala onion rawa dosa and paneer dosa
Both the dishes were great and had a good amount of filling
Chinmoy Mishra
The food here was decent if not great , it's a simple place , the ambiance in not the best in town, nor are the interiors so if you are going to this place you are going only for the food not an ambiance.
Umang
I heard a lot about this place. So I decided to visit here. The ambience was okay. They had a huge menu with different varieties of the dosa.
I ordered :
Masala dosa .
Paneer dosa

The taste was good. Service was good. you should definitely try this.
Prashant Bhati
Best South Indian serving restaurant in town. I had paid multiple visits to them over a period of time, tried many of their dishes. Sometimes have to wait gor more than 30~40 minutes to get in. 😜

I must say that they had maintained the quality with time. A place to go with family. Fully recommended.

An advice for Management: It will be better if they start booking tables over phone that one can get table on priority basis once he reach there.

Rajkumar Sharma
I have been their customer for last 5 years. One thing I liked the most is the quality is impeccable and has always been maintained. Along with this staff is also keen to provide you the best service even on weekends when the house is full. In my view best place to have south Indian food in Greater noida.
Pallavi Gupta
This is the only place i would love to visit if i crave south Indian. Everything is perfect from dosas to uttapams.
Their chutneys and sambhar have a special taste and even the staff is pretty courteous. I just hope they start delivering soon.
Priya Jain
Best in Greater noida for its exceptional south indian... It is indeed the place of u wanna Chuck in to the taste of south and spice of north.
Ekant Sharma
South Indian food offers a great variety, taste and can be enjoyed at any time of the day.
Talking about this particular chain of Simply South, it is exclusive for the people of greater noida.
They have two outlets in this city.
However, this outlet is the busiest amongst the two.
Food here is served fresh and meals are prepared with utmost perfection. The taste feels homely.
Service is good and staff will treat you with a smile.
Prices are nominal but you will get full value for your money.
Would advice to visit this place during day time because at night you wont find a seat very easily.

Recommendations : Garlic Masala Dosa, Rawa Coconut Dosa.
Shabdi Bhatia
amazing place for south indian. good place to.south indian lovers. will recommend to visit this place. cheese n garlic dosa are really amazing. try sweet dahi bada too.
Simran Sehgal
Although I am not a big fan of south Indian food contrary to my parents who just love it but this place has really amazing south Indian food and it is their favorite. I have tasted almost everything in their menu and I recommend vada Sambhar and fried Idlis.
Nitesh Kumar
Best South Indian restaurant in Greater Noida. I'm a regular visitor of Simply South. They have ample variety of dosas and other South Indian delicacies. Price, Quantity and Quality is perfectly maintained here. I love their Filter coffee which was better than even some of the Vango outlets.
You can try their cheesy dosas when you have the real hunger and South Indian cravings as it is actually very heavy!
Wait for the photographs of those cheesy dosas.
Sandeep Chamyal
Dosa are awesome here. It is a family space. Ambience is a bit average. Delivery and Packaging of the food orders are good.
Service is good.
Great place for having south indian food.
Deepak Rana
Had been to this place many times. I found it to be great place for south Indian food in Greator Noida.
I have tried Masala Dosa,Onion Masala Dosa, Idli, Vada and Shakes.
Food quality is good plus taste and service is decent.
Sambhar 👌💯
Ambience is okaish with normal seating capacity.
Pocket friendly restaurant ✌
Rakesh Kumar
Tried Dosa, Idli, Uttapam as quick take-away. Dosa was below average quality. we had to wait for almost half an hour for packing. staff behaviour was not very cordial. Sambhar and Chatni was almost stale and we had to prepare chatni at home to consume the meal. Not recommend unless, u do not have any other option
Harsh Agrawal
Oreo Shake was yummy ! ❤️
Chilli - Milli dosa was nice but too heavy ya.
Overall it was awesome.
Simply south has always been a place worth going for.
Amartya Biswas
Ordered masala dosa and sambhar bada
Tasted average,not satisfied
Waiters were friendly though
There were plenty of space but not enough tables and chairs
Ashutosh Singh
Best South indian restaurant in greater noida.. Me and my wife are like regular customers of its jagat farm outlet.
1. Special dosas are amazing in taste and worth a try my all time favorite is chilly milly dosa...
2. Regular dosas like plain and masala are also good @but the red chutny is not up to the mark... Sambhar and coconut chutney are good though..
3. I guess the ratio of ingredients of filter coffee keeps on changing or every time in my case it is made by different cook because the taste is not same. But overall ok.
4. In terms of price.. Economical and value for money.
Must try if u live in greater noida.
Dhruv Gupta
Out of many places which serve south indian food, this place is surely a delight for South Indian food lovers. I really like the Paneer Butter Masala dosa. The sambhar and chatni is really nice and the shakes they serve are good as well
Mrigank Shekhar
Strictly personal opinion:
This restaurant is situated at one corner of the gamma 1 market, more conveniently referred as jagat farm. One might not notice it while zipping past, as it is the corner most outlet on a turn where people are kept busy while driving, by rickshaws, auto rickshaws and what not.

Talking about the restaurant... I visit here once a month on an average. The setup is very modest one with two rows of red and green tables on either side of the rectangular hall and they've large photos from South Indian movies as well as festivals hanging on wall on both sides. They have plenty of staff to serve you and are courteous enough to be good at your service. If you have been to any south Indian veg restaurant in Chennai or Bengaluru...say 'Sagar Ratna' then you could relate.

Food is not very great but is worth going for once in a while. They have over 30 dosas and uttapams on their menu and then stuffs like varieties of idli, few chinese items etc. They have different flavours of shakes also and then my personal favourite - filter coffee. The best part is that you can have as much sambhar and chutney as you want, they will always provide with a smile. And not to mention, they are quite pocket friendly too!

So, overall I recommend this place if you like South Indian cuisine.
Review Date - 10th July, 2017

This review is based on partially dine in & partially on take away. Yesterday my family decided to have South Indian Food, so we decided to go for this place. Upon enquiring they told us that they don't deliver, instead it's a take away. So, I with my cousin went to get the Food.

We order 3 Masala Dosa, 1 Onion Masala Dosa and 1 Schzwan Masala Dosa. Upon asking the staff member who was taking the order said that will take 15 minutes. Meanwhile, we decided to have Shakes till our order gets ready.

The ambience is a normal nothing to talk about. However, the interior is good which reflects the South Indian Culture. On left side there are pictures of Kalairipattu, the famous Martial Art of Kerala, then a picture from the movie Bahubali and a big picture of Rajnikant. On the other side there are pictures of famous boat race which happens during Onam festival. The picture of Kathakali Dance Form and a picture of a Scenery.

Now talking about the Shakes we had. I ordered Strawberry and Chocolate Shake and Vanilla Shake for my cousin. Both the Shakes were good in taste.

About the Dosas which was the part of our take away order. The Masala Dosas and Onion Masala Dosa was
below average. The worst was Schzwan Masala Dosa. It seems that they don't know how to make it. It was so spicy that I wasn't able to eat even half of it and made my stomach upset today. Just filled my stomach with the Sambhar and Coconut Chutney which somehow was good.

Never gonna have Dosas from here again.
