Review Downtown - Diners & Living Beer Cafe - Gurugram (Gurgaon)

Each and every meal is sumptuous for 4 people in one quantity with extremely finger licking taste. The service was fast and good. We tried a lot of dishes here as have already tried this multiple times. Best place for the good food and soothing music.

Food is really amazing here, everything is very delicious. Drinks are amazing. Crowd was decent enough. Space is not that grand but again decent, as they have two floors. Good ambience. Parking will be available as it is inside the sector 29 club area. Only thing that I found a bit off was DJ, I did not enjoy it that much. Rest everything was good.

Ordered premium beer in happy hours 2+1, chicken and cheese garlic bread, tawa chicken. Both the items are very nice. Ambience is good and by 7pm completely packed. Beer is little diluted I felt. Very light. Also live music would have been good. Service is very prompt. Thanks to sohan and manoj.

Last Friday we had party at Downtown, Fresh beer, Chill chicken and Some more. Taste was good DJ was good and lots of space for dance. It was wonderful experience after open tap it was perfect.

One of the best Breweries and restaurant. Along with the delicious food they have the best brewed brewery. Their pizzas and kebabs are simply outstanding. I ate Mutton Gilouti Kebab after ages and they were superlicious. The dining area is quite good.

hi..i visited downtown today. i'd heard alot about this place. but alas, this was one of my worst experiences in terms of many things.. (1) we ordered assorted fries. the corn and cheese nuggets were just 3-4. the basket was filled with potato veggies which were more rubber like and less crispie. added to this, there were no dips provided with the fries..we'd to ask server for dips 2-3 times. (2) also, when we asked the server to remove the service charge (which is optional), he started arguing with us in such a fashion..he was piling on and tryn to put us in an embarassing situation. also, the presentation of the food was zero. the assorted fries should have been divided into 4-5 sections and served with some dips. given my experience, i don't think i ll want to come back to downtown for another try..highly disappointing food, staff and experience. even the music was average. sad it is!

The downtown name is very high in sec. 29 market , here he serve house beer ,premium , wheat ,dark best part of is beer is very low level of alcohol , and light, i love all 3 beers , but specially wheat beer , food was also great like pene pasta , thin crust pizza and indian maincourse platter ,dalmakhni and so many thing..

Poor & untrained staff (Narendra Negi (server) was the worst in all), boring music and monotonous ambience. Quite a regular place. No fun. I won’t return.

This is the one place i would want to visit again and again and with each and every friend i've got. The beer is amazing. The songs they play(old school like no school) is amazing.. the cheese and corn nuggets is my favourite and overall my best hangout place..

It's a very nice place food and beer are also too good especially the craft beer. Cocktails need some experience bar tender. Overall loved the ambience and music.

Went there with a friend of mine sometime back . The ambience was average. The service was quick considering it was sparsely populated. The food taste and portion size was decent. The drinks we ordered were badly made. Music was sad and unejoyable. Didn’t like it at all. The food doesn’t justifies the price tag. At the end of the meal, they charged us service charge, which is optional and didn’t bother to ask or inform us ( Asking or informing a customer about the service charge is a common practice in most of the cafes and restraunts ) The server started to argue when we we asked him to drop off the service charge. The manager too was talking in a crass tone and high pitch when we said the same, giving justifications for the same. Nonetheless, my friend managed to get a refund ! I wouldn’t want to give them a chance again!

Craft beer is good. Food was neither bad nor good. But ambiance too gloomy for my taste. A little bit more lighting won’t hurt. Music was good but too loud. Had to shout on top of my voice to talk to person sitting across.

This place is in my must go list. Amazing rooftop seating, courteous staff and paneer dal makhani of this PUB/Restro is a must try. I've never ever tasted it anywhere like that. Crowd was good and so as the place. Obv, sec 29 Gurgaon location is famous for Bars and good crowd. Bingo !!

This place has really good ambiance . The food was also good . The pizza had the bass very crunchy which made it better then normal pizza we also ordered a Belgium wheat beer which was amazing. Went here at valentine eve and it was a delightful and sweet outing. Had freshly brewed wheat beer which is probably one of the best in the town and cheesy nachos. But standout dish was paneer makhani which was part of dal makhani platter. Though dal makhani was okay kind but that doesn't bring down the ambience and amazing services. Recommended.

Downtown is so far the only place that has maintained its quality standards ever since it opened the doors for us. Nothing matches the combination of the freshest beer of the town and the Rock music played by Dj Kool. The food and service is undoubtedly one of the best in town. My first time here and it was one of the best experiences. The ambience is vibrant and soothing as well. Various types of seating arrangements are there. You can also sit on the terrace and enjoy the view. Crowd is also good. The staff was courteous and was also explaining all the dishes when asked. The food was delicious and quantity was also satisfying. We ordered fried corns, cheese balls, chicken tikka twice😅, fries, and in drinks cosmopolitan and beer. The prices are also reasonable. Highly recommend. 😊👍

A good hangout place to enjoy some beer and good music. Interiors are well done and the food is also good for a reasonable price tag. The service was good although the taste of their beer has been degraded as compared to their initial days.

My repeated visit to this place on last sunday, we have ordered the following -<br/>French fries<br/>Galouti Kebab<br/>Pizza<br/>Potato Wedges<br/>Drinks -<br/>Beer<br/>JD & Teacher<br/>Vodka<br/>& Fresh n lime soda<br/><br/>So we were around 10 persons.. food was good.. although the service was not that much value for money and on top of it they added services charges on the final bill , which we asked them to removed since we were not happy with the service itself which they obliged and remove.<br/>Staff need improvement.

One of the best places in Sector 29 to hangout with friends or to dine in with family. They have 3 floors. I personally prefer the rooftop because of the great ambience. They offer great food and good service. The crowd is also nice there. I ordered Veg Penne Alfredo pasta and an American pizza 6” and Chocolate Coffee Mocktini. I loved the food and the vibe of the place. Highly recommended🌟🌟🌟🌟
