Review Di Ghent Cafe - Gurugram (Gurgaon)

Priyadarshi Dutta
The ambience of this place is beautiful and very conducive to breakfast conversations. We ordered Wondelgem (egg Benedict that comes with smoked salmon) and had crispy bacon for sides. Taste was delicious. Egg Benedict was perfectly cooked in terms of the way yolk should run when you cut it! The wafels were also quite nice. Service was good. Portion size was sufficient. Overall experience was enjoyable!

I love the place for the food, the ambience and the quality that they have maintained over time. Best place to grab good breakfast or brunch with your bunch. It’s difficult to recommend specifics because the entire menu is well curated and is good. The place is very cosy and is mostly full during brunch time.

Absolutely love this place, great ambience, good food and service. I was missing European art and atmosphere for ages.I am very happy I found this spot. Definitely will return again. Thank you.

A quaint spot at cross point mall, above the bustle of the streets and well lit by the sun at all times. Amidst cosy interiors and the warm smell of coffee you can sit down, read, maybe even work as you order off of an extensive western european menu. The food is very good, and the savory crepes are a must try. As is the cappuccino with their velvety vanilla cookies. A sublime experience.

Ok peeps.. The café ambience is really soothing but but but… The food list are below that you should try other than that you shouldn’t try.. that’s what I recommend 1. Try ravioli pasta.. the taste is good 2. Try coffees - Latte, Mocha, affogota, hot chocolate I recommend hot, never tried cold here 3. The best part of this place is English breakfast. Try any breakfast infact you will love it 4. No smoothy no shakes please.. I give suggestions to restaurant to work on these part smoothies can be improved and server little better way and so with shakes Thanks! ☺️

A beautiful rustic cafe. Loved the wheel-turned bookshelf. I was just visiting the mall for some work post-run and felt why not have a try. Ordered a cocoa cappuccino, which was love, and especially enjoyed the vanilla biscuits that accompanied it. I even got a packet of them for takeaway. As for snacks got a bruschetta, chicken one which was average for me being a fan of the item. Overall, a good cafe, and heard they serve great breakfasts. Would have to try them soon when time permits.

I was a bit skeptical initially but when I entered the place, I liked my decision. The vibes inside the cafe are soothing. I came here with a friend for lunch and ordered Herzele which I absolutely loved. We also ordered lakenhalle yet another delicacy of this place. For drinks we ordered ice tea and berry shake. The place has lots of books which you can read while munching.

This is my go to place to spend a hour or so of peaceful time! Wooden interior with good coffee and waffles. Always recommended.

So is this cafe...in love with the aura...a lot of good books to read..coffee was good...food was okay..a little bland for our tangy tongue...but their dessert dark belgian chocolate cake was amazing...and yes their mocktails are good too...a good experience overall

Di Ghent somehow reminds you of those cosy cafes in fictional small towns where the owner is your friend and you find succour and not just food. Not to say the food lacks in anyway. Quirky, delicious and good portions- always a hit! The place has a calm and relaxed vibe. The decor is charming in an unassuming sort of way, the service good and the location excellent. Perfect for a Sunday brunch, an afternoon of 'Me Time' spent reading one of their many books, or an evening out with friends- Di Ghent won't disappoint whatever your mood.

It's worth waiting for a place on Sunday morning. The best cappuccino and tiramisu in town. Their food is pretty good as well.
Ashwini Shivakumar
I've visited this place since it opened about 14 years or so back . They have managed to maintain the quaint charm. Their cheesecake is still my favourite. Prices are okay, atleast 450 rs f for a dessert (i usually end up eating a dessert here over main course) The staff has stayed the same for many years and will go far and beyond to make you comfortable. They need to have a dessert counter so one can see the deserts before eating. Plus it makes it more 'cafe-ey' Their hot chocolate comes in the largest mug and it's totally worth it! Tried the berry smoothie which is just okay .

Everything here from food to service, the ambience and the presentation was just amazing.

I was very enthusiastically taken to this place by someone coz he lovvvvedd this place. But I would have to salute his choice... The ambiance was clean and pretty, service was really warm and food was breath taking (literally for my bf it was breath taking). I wanted to try so many more dishes, but the quantity was so amazing that I couldn't try much. I would definitely come again and probably bag the couch Wala seats this time :p

Am usually a great fan of Di Ghent cafe and the vibe is super and breakfast is usually excellent. However, tonight I got a bunch of desserts for my parents' Anniversary and the desserts were terrible and inedible to say the least. The lemon cake was dry and stale. Ordered the chocolate, caramel and blueberry cheesecake and all the cheesecakes was chalky. The only decent thing was the chocolate cake with white and dark chocolate. Supremely disappointed. I really hope this was an evening off. Nevertheless, not going near the desserts.

Favourite hang out spot in Gurgaon. Mouthwatering food and fingerlicking desserts.. One of my favorite venues in NCR to perform at too! The staff is lovely and it's just perfect. Don't forget to try the Caramel Cheesecake!

Lovely place !! Amazing food !! The go to place on every lazy sunday morning !! ❤️

It is something that can be talked about when it comes to Gurgaon, it is capitalising primarily because of the food. The ambience and interiors adds to the place for sure. The salads are really fresh and engaging. And a must for everyone is to try their tiramisu unique, full of flavour and sinful.
Suresh Mansharamani
Love the energy in this place. My regular place for business meetings.

Best waffles in Gurgaon! Awesome food. My go to place!

DiGhent Review 26 SEP 2020

Dighent is a place I have been meaning to try for a few years now. I have heard nothing but praise, and read nothing but good reviews about this establishment. Understandably then, my expectations were at the maximum while placing the order. The chefs of DiGhent thus had an onerous task of matching an already sky-high expectation and satisfying the tastebuds of a customer whose stomach was not quite empty to begin with. Under normal circumstances, I would have said that factors such as these might have skewed my food review so much so that it would have been impossible for the chefs at DiGhent to secure even an acceptable rating. Being acutely aware of this, the review that follows is of a more lenient nature than my others.

Despite this, everything ordered was ranging between ordinary and average, making it more of an up-hilled task for me as a writer of this review to produce a meaningful piece, than for the chefs of DiGhent to titanate my tastebuds.

The dishes ordered were Schone (Savoury Waffle, with a side of bacon, eggs and potatoes), Moerbeke (Savoury Crepe, with a filling of spinach and ricotta, and a side of rocket and corn) and DePint (A salmon spaghetti) that was missing capers it was meant to be served with. The meal was closed with a Strawberry Cheesecake that used canned strawberry compote rather than the fresh deal.

I would not say the meal was bad, but neither was is extraordinary. The service, the relaxing ambience and the owner’s presence made for a pleasant dining experience. DiGhent could have been a notch above the rest, had the food exceeded that of its competitors. Given that it didn’t, shelling out close to 3K for the meal didn’t quite make it a value-for-money experience. It is a place that is worth one try, but I am not sure I will recommend this restaurant for it’s food per se.

This is a great cafe serving good breakfast/brunch menu with lovely ambience. Excellent service and an all time place to visit. An end note gesture by the staff was highly appreciable which consisted of a wallet, cookies and an alluring coloured mask that was packed together (an absolute surprise 🙂)!. Well maintained and sanitised space too.
Three cheers to the team!
Rahul
After speaking to the restaurant manager and adding a written request that were both ignored. It’s very disappointing from a once favourite cafe. Not sure as a customer what else one is expected to do.
Niyati Prakash Arora
Complimentary gift! I like their concept of reopening after lockdown & they gifted us a complimentary gift which has a small bag in which there was some cookies, a mask. Great idea! Their were females serving food, i do not know who were they but they were quick & very generous. Good coffee & food.

I ordered eggs benedict according to the photo that Zomato has put and was delivered this! I would like a refund asap! Di Ghent was amazing specially Anita who actually sent me Eggs Benedictine even thought they don’t have it on the home delivery menu! Always a good experience with the cafe! Thanks so much !
Manit Madaan
The mostttttt! I repeat the most amazing chicken breast i’ve had in a while with mashed potatoes and aome sautéed veggies on side!
Riya Basu
Totally loved this cafe! Perfect for a nice Sunday brunch. Went there first time post lockdown and so good to see the staff maintaining hygiene and social distancing norms. Food was amazing! Had a proper English breakfast. The huge egg platter with salad, savoury waffles and oreo shake. Simply amazing 💛
Abhinav Kishore
This amazing cafe never fails to impress. Visited here for the first time post lockdown, and took my parents alongwith me. We ordered the egg Frittata, Savory Crepes and their delicious Waffles - everything was so brilliant. The restuarant staff is following all the precautions and it definitely wasn't over packed for a weekend brunch hour. Overall, a very good experience.
Amrita Sodhi
The carrot cake they sent is a dry tea cake and the very curt manager refuses to accept that if the Carrot Cake is a part of their Dessert menu then it ought to be made with a lemon/vanilla icing ( just the traditional way). If you are serving it as a dry tea cake then then that needs to be specified. I’m appalled to see that I spent 350 at Zomato for a tiny piece of dry carrot cake. They refuse to take it back saying they don’t have riders. Terrible experience all in all.
Palash Taing
Went here for a brunch. Pretty much an average experience. The description in the food menu vs. the actual portions were massively deceptive. Despite being at 30% occupancy, the service was average.
Not recommended from my end !

These folks are super good, they know their game well. Great taste and variety! Love their egg benedicts with hollandaise sauce and some spinach on the side.

So very happy that the quality of food and service remains high when delivered. The portions were sizeable, well packaged, and still warm when they arrived. The dishes were delicious, as usual, and made our family nostalgic for happier times spent at the restaurant. Thanks for sending a mini packet of biscuits and a mask too!

I've been coming to Di Ghent since the very beginning and am so happy this cafe exists. Our family enjoys brunch here very frequently. I sit over pots of tea and work. The dishes are to die for. I can order blindly and know that whatever I am served will be delicious, fresh, and healthy. The lovely ambience, Sangria, and beautiful cheese platters make Di Ghent my favorite romantic spot for dates as well. I'm very glad that the quality of food remains top notch when delivered and can't wait to return!

My affair with Di Ghent Cafe at Cross Point mall, DLF phase-4, Gurgaon started in 2018 and 10 photos are too less for me to be uploading as I have been there countless no. Of times for their breakfast. My partner and I love its breakfast and we go atleast once a week to have the wide range of selection they have to offer.
I often indulge in conversations with its manager whom I first thought was the owner. However she told me that the Owner is a foreigner who was exploring Europe and fell in love with the town “Di Ghent” hence he tried recreating his experience here.
The place certainly screams about his experiences loud. As everything seems hand picked.
We love their Bemmel bagels, Belfort ( I have to admit the taste changes everytime. The consistency is lacked), Lieve Ravioli, Buck bruschetta, healthy bowl, fortjen French toast, belfry eggs.
In beverages you can try their chocolate Oreo shakes, kambucha fresh lime soda.
Their hot chocolate is pretty average.
Their cookie are worth a try too.
Amrita Ray Chaku
Loved the spinach ravioli and carrot cake. Sweet gesture by the restaurant to send cookies and a mask along with a thank you note by the owner. One of the best food delivery experiences I have had in the last 3 months.
Ishita
Food came right on time. Received free cookies as well as a mask in a cute pouch! Loved the food and service as usual. Our favourite restaurant!! Thank you :)

Started off with a prosciutto bruschetta, which was honestly a let down per my expectations. Got a chicken wrapped in bacon along with mashed potatoes which was great, a must eat! For dessert i got an apple crumble which has been a personal favourite for a long time- the apples, the crust, the crumble- all cooked to perfection and balance. The blueberry cheesecake however was average so you can skip it.

Very bad and dry sandwiches and pasta was stinking

I finally went to @di_ghent Cafe in Cross Point Mall, Dlf Phase 4, Gurgaon after it being on my list for a couple of months. For those of you who you don’t know, this one is a really famous cafe in G town for breakfast. They serve Belgian and European food.
In the picture: Eyck Panini with garlic grilled chicken, sundried tomato pesto, bell peppers and cream cheese.
I did not find the flavors very impressive and no sauce was served alongside.
Since it was a belgian cafe i ordered for a classic Belgian Hot Chocolate which was obviously expected to be extraordinarily good according to the specialities but infact was quite average. I’ve had much better Hot Chocolates at much better prices. Maybe it was just a bad experience for me!

Nice fancy place to dine however it is little difficult to locate as it’s on the top.
Food presentation is good however find it little expensive.

Di Ghent is a lovely cafe. We ordered a cappuccino, latte, bruschetta n a health bowl. Everything was good. Really enjoyed the health bowl too.
Puri.alok
The cost of the food is expensive. When you provide a home delivery option, please ensure the food is warm and packed well. The food reached out house with 2 packets leaking of the curry. The waffle was soggy. Really unfortunate experience of ordering at home.
Anirudh Gupta
The sandwich and wine was really good. Nice visit in cross point mall.

Too expensive and tasteless.

This place offers some amazing pancakes in city. I enjoyed every bit of it along with ice cream. Although it is difficult to locate as it’s on the top floor of building and opposite to Galleria market. But it’s worth the efforts.

We have been sitting at the cafe for half an hour
Either inform that it will take alot of time or deliver
Hire more staff if you cant cater every table
Ordered eggs and risootte Served cold
Very disappointed
Ive been coming to this place since it opened
Just going downhill
If anyone do decide to go
Make sure you have alot of free time

I went here with my friends. The staff is polite and manages the food well. I will suggest that they create different washrooms for men and. women. Talking about food some of the food items were spot on some were not. Deserts are something you guys need to try here. Overall it's. a great place to visit.

Di ghent is a nice and cozy restaurant in the cross point mall. The menu is innovative and different. Liked their portion of garlic bread and in the healthy mains really enjoyed dendermonde in non veg and bruchent in veg. The grilled chicken was very tender and succulent while the chickpeas salad was definitely worth a mention. Service was a tad slow and servers did not preempt basic things to bring to the table like cutlery , oregano and flakes , water etc to name a few
Deepak Johri
We ordered
1. Peters Eggs Benedictine with Mushrooms and cheese. Man was it good, the mushrooms were fresh, the cheese flavourful, the egg yolk running. Delicious 👏
2. Vossenhol The vanilla sponge cake soaked in milk, with fresh cream and fruits. The cake was just the right amount of sweet, melt in the mouth soft, the fresh cream with the kiwi and pomegranate was fresh tasting and light on the palate. Yummy
3. Blush Tea with Oolong, rose petals, spices, pomegranate flowers lemon balm. The tea was so so. Don't go for it. It was not so bad as like oh Yuck can't stand it, it was like okkk never going to have it again. Avoid!!!
All in all an EXCELLENT place to go to. The staff is attentive, polite, service is prompt without being overbearing. The ambience is very comfy cosy. The crowd is very nice, pleasing to the eyes. I Give 6 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5!! Go and revel in the food Orgy happening at this place.

Small place on the first floor in Cross Point Mall. They have 2 shops, one for the meals and one just for coffee and desserts. They have a variety for desserts ranging from cakes to cheesecakes. Even their food is delicious! Especially their pasta dishes, it's pretty filling. However, it's a little pricy. But good stuff. I do recommend this place to bring your family and friends.
Sujatha Sengupta
Awful service , mains brought with the starters , takes for ever , old food brought back cold , standards have dropped terribly

Went for a brunch. A bit on the expensive side but taste was good. Hot chocolate could have been better.
Staff and owners are very humble and polite too.

Went there for Sunday Brunch and had a good time.

What I liked?
- Ambiance
- Food Quality

What I ordered:
Eggs Benedict with Salmon : Amazing
Zomergem - Amazing, good for a small plate
Eyck - Was good
New York Cheesecake was yumm! Best in a long time!

What I did not like?
- Hot chocolate tasted like a lil better than Bournvita, have had much better ones before
- Belluve : dressing was killer but prawns were tiny and a lil bland
Purvi Punetha
We came here to have breakfast and it was perfect choice. we tried omlette with salmon and it was really nice to have early morning served with breads. Garlic bread was very cheesy and a good choice for cheese lovers.
Gallivanting Ginthusiast
Di Ghent is a great looking place with some really great stuff on their menu. It's also not a cheaply priced place and one could compare the prices to any top tier restaurant. And hence, one would expect them to make their delivery worth the hype and price. While the taste of the food is not bad, at times you will feel like, meh, this isn't how it was described on the menu.
But the biggest issue is their service. I've been to the place twice and tried ordering online once. And each time, I've felt worse than before to now finally writing this review. The first time, in an empty restaurant, they were not open to us getting anything but a corner table, since we were only two. I found this a little odd, and upon much insistance, we got a table. The second time, we came for desserts and it was towards the end of the night. The restaurant was again empty (possibly patrons don't return after one experience), and we were seated on a good table. But they kinda hurried us along as if we were holding the shift back. I had to point it out to them, that they should've denied us seating, if they wanted to close soon. Afterall, it's not like we were eating for free. The worst part was that they had all this back of the house conversation happening in the restaurant, almost as if it was a deliberate attempt to shoo us away. And then the final time was when I ordered last night. After 30 minutes, I get a notification saying my refund is being processed, since the restaurant has crossed it's time limit to accept an order. I called the restaurant and they're like ok sorry I am accepting it now. I mean their lack of seriousness, surely seems to be costing them monies too now.
I do hope things change for them, but...I don't think I am going back to them...

The elaborate menu has something to offer for everyone. Bringing Europe to the table, this place never fails to disappoint. Staff is super warm and courteous.
Kajol Pawani
The owner of this cafe eats breakfast with chutney and tandoori chicken with ketchup. A “belgian, European cafe”
that features breakfast on the main page and doesn’t serve ketchup with it. So all eggs and sandwiches and normal stuff that goes with ketchup. The staff believes ketchup is only served in Indian restaurants. When asked if they could get it from outside and will be paid however much extra for it, they refused. Ordered like 4 breakfasts items, and left without paying a single penny. It is almost like they were repulsive to ketchup. It is sad that a place with such good food didn’t get their own basic cuisine right.
Nupur Issar
It cannot take 30 mins to get a soup! You guys have become way too slow.
Vinita Rathee
Di Ghent cafe is one of my favorite cafe because of their yummy and healthy food, ambience is so cheerful with cozy warm winter feels. Their salads and desserts are something to be ordered for sure. Loved the whole vibe.

Love the place for cozyness and sofas. Good coffee and decent soups.Staff hovers a bit so reading at length requires deep dedication 😂

Beware of the egg stink coming in from their cutlery and water glasses , this has happened many times but still the same . Experience Not worth the price they ask

Finally found a really nice waffle place in Gurgaon. Have been visiting this cafe for ages for its coffee, pastas, salads and finally tried the waffles and absolutely loved them. The portions were generous and could be shared if only you wish to share your dessert. Ample amount of sunlight makes the place extremely cosy and comfortable to enjoy warm winter breakfast/brunches. Definitely a place you'd want to go to catch up with a friend or two over some scrumptious food.
For more such reviews, follow us on Instagram & Facebook: twohangrywomen

I went here with my wife for Sunday Morning Breakfast and I really think the place is overrated.

Egg dishes were priced at exorbitant rates and there was nothing unqiue or special about their preparations. The place is also popular for it's coffee which I found again to be very regular and nothy extraordinary.

I like the interiors but really couldn't understand what the hype is all about the place.

I recently visited Di ghent Cafe after hearing so much about it. Firstly we tried the butter garlic prawns, which were sooo good. The flavors were amazing. Next we tried the panini sandwich, which were a little dry and could have been better. The cappuccino was delish and made perfectly. Next the crepes were decent. Overall, loved the vibe of the place.

I love all of this spot. This is one of Gurgaon's very few places where you see a completely different culture. It was a perfect meal! It was a great hot chocolate! It was a perfect dessert. A perfect place to have a brunch.

The eggs benedict is yum! I keep returning for the same dish. The mango juice was fresh. The carrot cake wasn’t too sweet, so that was great. The staff behavior can be bettered. Also, the order TAT has been high whenever i’ve visited. During winters, definitely go and try the hot chocolate, it comes with madeleines.

I went to this place few days ago and I must say this place has got really good vibes. It’s perfect if you wanna spend some quality time and staff was very attentive and service was good. Food was also good but it could be little cheaper.
in times of commercial coffee shops; this place stands heads & shoulders above the rest! with a rustic look and feel; DiGhent offers a holistic “european cafe” experience!

the coffee is perhaps the best one can get in gurgaon and the food is just surreal. Tried the Salmon Bruschetta, Bagel & Savoury Crepes. The menu variety is such it can give the “5 Stars” a run for their money.

My suggestion- Skip your regular baristas and try this cafe out! You will only thank me later! 🥂

I love everything about this place. Starting from yhe decor, interiors and the placement of chairs and little plants. It has a very rustic charm to it.
Their food is just so pleasinv to the taste buds.
I absolutely savour their frittata and shakshuka (egg based dishes) , vitrine (mushroom risotto) and the mixed berry waffles are drool-worthy.
Beverages are great too, including the real fruit smoothies and cold coffee.

This quaint little cafe has a charm of its own.Perfect for weekend brunches or Cheese board and Sangria type of evenings with besties 😘

Okay, first of all the menu needs to be simpler & easily understandable for the customers.. which it is not. Second thing, I didnt know if it was a bad day or what but I literally just packed my ₹1500 worth food & gave it to someon else because it just didnt taste right.
Nevertheless, the staff here is very sweet & the ambience is great too but their food needs work or maybe its just me.

For supposedly a premium cafe food was poorly packed. A slice of cake that costs 350 came smudged and with cheap pouches of extra chocolate. Utterly disappointed.

After having heard so much about Di Ghent, I finally ended up here for dinner
What we ordered- A peanut butter banana shake, a brownie shake and a cold coffee with ice cream
A cheese and tomato tart, a wafflizza, and the chicken wrapped in bacon.

What I liked
The idea of a waffle-pizza.
The fact that they have a very varied menu.
The chicken was good, but the side veggies of the chicken were tastier.

On the downside,
The cold coffee with ice cream seemed to have no ice cream and almost felt like a slushie considering the number of ice crystals it had. We had to send it back.
The waffle starts to go soggy very quickly under the pizza toppings- if something could be done to improve that.

I just love to visit Di Ghent cafe over and over again, this is my favourite place to visit during the day time specially Sunday afternoons in winter, the place has a very classy feel and host very british culture, food served is always fresh with best of the ingredients

Went in for an early dinner on a Saturday. The crowd was thin and we got the best seating possible. Loved this quaint cafe with a warm, timber-based decor and nice ambience. It is better known for breakfast and brunch. Not surprisingly, they have an all-day breakfast menu and a fine continental selection. Here’s what we had:
Gavere - small bites, chicken on toast, very good
Lakenhalle - spaghetti with béchamel sauce, very good
Kanaal- homemade lamb bolognese lasagna, good
Gentbrugge - health bowl, with steamed salmon, very good
Tennisstraat- apple crumble pie, good
Vrijdagmakt - molten chocolate pie, very good
Nekke - Irish cream chocolate cheesecake, very good
Macchiato coffee - good
Kombucha - ginger and lemon, very good
Service was attentive.

This place with beautiful interiors, and cozy setup is instragrammable at it’s each corner.
Had their coffee which was rich and dark.
Also tried panini which was good enough.
The best thing has to be their desserts. They offer some sinful dessert options and is a heaven for cake lovers.
Overport is one such dessert which takes me back to this place.
