Recently, I had the pleasure of joining my team members for a delicious lunch at Whiskey Samba in Gurugram. The ambience of the restaurant was perfect for a team outing - trendy and upbeat, with a cozy yet spacious seating arrangement. While the food was good, it didn't quite live up to the hype. Nevertheless, the experience was enhanced by the wonderful company of my team members. We shared laughs, exchanged ideas, and strengthened our bonds over the course of the meal. Overall, it was a memorable team lunch that left me feeling energized and connected to my colleagues. I would highly recommend Whiskey Samba as a venue for team outings or any other social gathering

I was in Gurgaon for a day and had to visit Whisky Samba which I’ve heard so much about . I had planned to catch up with a friend over drinks , but ended up having drinks , dinner & dessert . The bar is massive, ceiling to floor & well stocked (There wasn’t any whisky I named & it wasn’t there ) . It’s like “Whisky Paradise “ Try the cocktails too , but be ready to not stop at 1 , they are really good . The food Is mouthwatering. The salmon carpaccio, the pizzas & the Japanese menu are a must try . Make sure to try the desserts , it melts in your mouth. *If you want the best drinks & want to be surprised, ask the staff for Ashish Kapur’s favourite & Thank me later 🥃

Whisky Samba bar is truly magical. It's a great place to let loose, dance, and unleash your energy. You'll find a diverse crowd spanning various age groups, from teens to middle-aged individuals. The food and drinks offered here are simply amazing, and the ambience and vibes are perfect for a memorable night out. While it is slightly on the higher side in terms of pricing, the quality and experience they provide justify the cost.

Phenomenal place to visit. Not only myself agree to visit most of the time but my whole crew (friends, family, loved ones, colleagues) prefer to visit for the enjoyment. The vibe is extremely awesome. Must visit once.

Love the food and service nice place to hangout. Jerry is the person who made us happy great service love i

The only complain I have were the food portion sizes against the prize which was charged. Being a high end restaurant still does not justify the small portions which were served. Other than this the place is a great choice to visit and have a good time. I would definitely rate the ambience and service highly.

The drinks were amazing and the atmosphere is like on another level . I love there and the music man that was so amazing like I was waiting for my friends and I was still dancing man that was something. There is Hardik panday casually coming in man I had a great experience.🥳😊

Like most of the places in Horizon Towers, Whiskey samba is a fun place with great ambience and drinks. The food is a bit hit or miss. Se of the dishes are great whole some are average, but the presentation is always on point. It's definitely a bit on the pricey side, but that is by design.
Varun Sanyal
A fantastic spot in the heart of Gurgaon. The staff are extremely hospitable and friendly. Given the great ambience, the price of food/beverages is a bargain. We tried various bar bites and the bartender very kindly made me a custom mocktail. I definitely recommend this place to anyone in Delhi-NCR.

Had a great dining experience at Whisky Samba - it was a great vibe, an extensive food and beverage menu, excellent dishes, and solid service. We had the Broccoli and water chestnut dim sum (which were excellent), the Sriracha honey baby corn (which was amazing, and had the consistency of honey chilli potato), and the Tamarind and Thai Chilli Chicken (flavorful and tasty), and the Butter Chicken Samosa (relatively bland, could be infused with more flavor). Overall, Whiskey Samba was an excellent experience, and the backdrop of the bar counter is absolutely stunning. Highly recommend!

So it's a lounge and a bar where they serve good alcohol.. They have a wide range of alcohol and beer 🍻 and a decent bar. I personally love the whole sitting area. We had chicken which at the very first time was not good in taste after that they serve the another one and also we had malai broccoli 🥦 which was quite good.. ambience is very beautiful service was good...

Whisky Samba is your go to place for a chilled out night with friends. The food, drinks collections and ambience is amazing. The only small thing I would point out are the prices! A few dishes and alcohol will burn a big hole in your pocket! And that’s why I have given 4 stars instead of 5. So yea, take a look at the prices before you plan an evening there!
Anurag Khetan
Top class cocktail as always with good mix of service and hospitality. I appreciate when waiters don't bother 200 times and it was like that here. Music could have been slightly less considering place was empty and we were struggling to talk.

Premium Experience Good food Nice crowd and overall ambience Outside sitting option available IPL match screening Good experience overall , good to goo place on weekends

Fantastic cocktail bar / restaurant that turns into a nightclub vibe as the night goes on. Food is great, South East and East Asian cuisines paired perfectly with the imaginative cocktail menu.
Ambica Chitkara
A place that certainly wows you at first sight. Extremely classy - the look and feel of the bar is that of a fancy cruise liner. The ambience is enthralling and I certainly have had a great time each time I have gone! The staff sure is courteous and polite - and despite the usual crowd, the staff tries its best to find you a Nice cozy corner to relax and let your hair down. The food is super too!
Saloni Tara
I absolutely loved the place. Everything was great from the sitting arrangements, the ambiance of the place, the music, the food and the alcohol. Finally a chic place in Gurgaon. Loved the place and I would recommend everyone to visit.
Ramanika Singh
Absolutely great ambience and what a menu excellent grills with an exquisite raw bar ! The cocktails are the die for . I'm not a whisky person but the whisky cocktails here are too good .
Gunisha Aujla
Great ambience , very very nice decor and good music. The staff is very friendly but the service can be improved a bit . The drinks take too long to arrIve even when the place is not full . Also , we went there 2 nights in a row with different sets of friends and we all felt that except their whiskeys , the other drinks especially the cocktails were a bit diluted and contained lesser alcohol than the suggested 30 ml . We had to tell them to pour the drinks in front of us. They need to improve on that because the customers are not so ignorant .
Anil Puri
Good place with a very large bar offering. The food is good though overpriced for the size of the portion which is small the deserts presentation and choice was good. But overpriced
Kunal Bhatia
Finally a super classy, no frills but ample attitude and very elitist bar and that too in Gurgaon! Whiskey Samba it is ! Your go to place for some finest whiskey experience, a perfectly laid out bar and ambience that sets it apart and notches above any of the bars in Delhi NCR! So get set to wear the snob you, light a cigar and swirl some smokey beverage on the rocks .. sexy bourgeoisie to the hilt.. for the adults only 😊😊!! (Words Courtesy Kavita Bagga)

Finally Gurgaon has a place that has great food and serves great cocktails! The place has pizzaz and buzz. The portions are phenomenal. And the Avalanche dessert needs a special mention, in not just sufficing ones gluttony but also it's sensation artistic camaraderie with the eater . Worth many visits!

Walked in post a meeting at one Horizon centre, beautiful looking restaurant with a lovely inviting porch. They had their lunch buffet on and I loved the range of tapas especially their own hummus. I loved the size of that bar and that menu was quite something. Loved the chicken wrap I'm sure once they get their liquor this could become a happening spot in gurgaon!
Rohini Singh
An absolute delight to have been there, great place, deliciously awesome food, courteous staff, lovely ambience and a beautifully done up sit out! All of this makes it a 5 on 5..

The place has a great vibe! Good music, interesting cocktails, sumptuous eats and good mix of people....
Rashmi Jain
Great place, great ambience and absolutely amazing food. The passion for food that these guys have is evident in the attention given to each little detail... the presentation, the taste and the creativity that it comes with. Loved it
Vishavdeep Bali
From A to Z...This is the place to be... Loved the warmth , the food, the cocktails and the amazing people working to make it so... It is going to be one of the best places in town..
Jyoti Mishra
Very nice place and ambience is good . Everyone should try Whisky sour drink its yum although I'm not a whisky person but the drink is really good 👍

One will get a lot of options at the Bar, nice ambience to gather the crowd which leads to the place being too crowdy. Overpriced and Overhyped.
Nishant Jethra
Visit this place at your own risk. It is owned by the same people that own The Wine Company. The managers, waiters and bouncers of The Wine Company viciously assaulted 3 customers a few days ago. With broken glass bottles. Puncturing and piercing arteries. Nearly taking lives.
Satyam Gupta
It is very classy place, any one will fall in love with its ambience. Best to celebrate special occasions like birthdays, new year, anniversary.

Limited food options.Very beautiful decorated and maintained .

This planning is super happening! They have the best crowd and the best music in town. But what really makes them different from the other clubs is their staff. There are very few lady staff at such places, and especially available during late hours (for the safety reasons) last night I met Kiran Didi (she is one who takes care of the washroom) I have never met someone who is so kind and always there to help you out! She give more than 100% at her job and also she makes every single girl feel super warm! Love her vibe, will be there again for her!
Food
Extremely unpleasant experience. I have never had such bad chinese food. The table was unclean. The table napkins were not ironed and were unclean. We ordered vegetable dumplings in Garlic and rice noodles. The vegetable dumplings was roadside deep fried bad manchurian in tomato ketchup sauce. The rice noodles were blank.

Horrible experience. Its a fancy place, with extremely poor maintenance and bad quality food sold in a name of some fancy chef. The food is worse than a roadside chinese food stall.

Very disappointing experience!!!!!

Attended farewell party last Friday.. excellent dinner place with great variety of food and drinks. Ordered bloody Mary with Shrimps and Sesame Chicken and stir fired beans. Delicious in taste... but the price are on higher side
Vikrant Yadav (FoodRad.in)
Whisky samba was on my list since a long time and finally made a satisfying visit. The place is as usual expensive, trying nearly fine to meet the standards in food and cocktails to be in line with the pricing. I tried tiny samba punch and old smoke. Samba punch looked elegant with the flower inside and was a potent flavorsome cocktail. Old smoke had the smoky apeal and was a fine try. In food, tried chicken and chestnut gyoza and adored it. Zucchini carpaccio was my frist try and was just fine, not really happy with the blend of flavours. Sous vide chix leg tasted decent, the sauce wasn't the best compliment to the preparation and the side of rice cake helped, didn't justify the price. Ambience is beautiful.
Rahul Gaurkar
They do not have Shrimps in menu, limited food and drink menu, no Bacardi Black and Gold. Staff was well groomed, presentation of food was nice.
Puneeta Pandey
The hot toddy was realllly nice for my soar throat.
Food is good .lots of experiments done by the chef but desserts are amazing...great combos...i tried many desserrts being in a group of 15 people and it was great
Vikas Bhatia
Food is good but overall experience is spoilt by the speed they deliver. Ordered fixed menu but Dimsums were served very slow. Approx time from 1 type to another was approx 20 mins. Took them more than 2 hours to serve whole menu. So if you are in hurry don’t order fixed lunch Menu.
Pulkit Berwal
Food was pathetic... really worst food i ever had....
Sandeep Singh Sethi
Please check bill , we did order those last ‘2 bording pass’ and ‘cauliflower tempura’ but realised this morning only that we weren’t served these items on table . Everything was perfect till last night but feeling a little sad when checked bill items today morning :(

An amazing place to be for non veg lovers, no one can beat the variety they offer in nonveg dishes. Their veg dishes are also delicious specially avocado on toast
Sanjeev Takyar
The most expensive restaurant of Gurgaon or rather NCR in standalone category, frequented by mostly youngsters, cool environs, we munched on seafood wanton, spinach dimsums and wasabi prawns, menu is complex and adventurous, ended up with chocolate souffle, basically place is for cocktails and drinks
Shalini Mehta
Until an year and a half ago since it opened the place was 5 stars and a pet hangout destination. However, the music and the unbalanced cocktails ruin the blind decision of hopping over to the place now.
Natasha Dhawan
The cocktails are great but sadly they don’t have anything that justifies the prices on their food menu. For the price that is charged the food needs to be spectacular but is underwhelming
Arup Rakshit
A great place for an after office break out. Great whiskey cocktails for those who want to experiment. Else a great collection of single malts. Enough finger foods to satisfy the hunger pangs. Great service.
No Lotus Eater
Pretty pricey. Waiters were attentive and polite. The food was great - pumpkin curry served with bread and chilli mushroom served with rice. The ambience was very nice except the loud music. At an average of $25 per person it’s not cheap but hey the place is worth a visit.
Anwesha Datta
The drinks are okay as this is the expensive bar. They were not serving most of the food items which was disappointment.

It's a good place with lively wibes .We spent about 1hr but it was rejuvenating. From cocktail to food all were fab.We had beetroot kebab and it was so yummy & delicate. tried they Spacial curated cocktail *whiskey Sour* it was like to die for .Spacial thing about it that it was made of J/W BL instead of bourbon but here bartender has done master job to balance it .**Amazed ** .From well come drink to ending shots every thing was top notch. Good job !!!Team whiskey samba !! Keep it up..See u soon
Cheers!!

One of the best menus I have seen - unique and exotic. The lunch was amazing - the asparagus tempura was nice and crunchy, the dim sum was also great taste and well presented. Avocado toast was slightly disappointing compared to the rest of the menu, but the presentation of food, the service of the staff and the great conversations we had there, make me go for a 5. Cheers to one of the best places in gurgaon, although more than a tad expensive, so keep it for special occasions. :)

Whiskey Samba is a classy joint, with a beautiful ambience. The staff makes you feel comfortable and welcomes you with warmth.

The welcome drink is unique and tastes brilliant. The pastas are just what you would like to eat after a long day at work or even for a quick lunch.

I would recommend this place for both personal as well as official dine ins
Manan Aggarwal
The place has a good bar and it is definitely a place for people who are into Asian Food.

I would personally suggest people to go there in the evening!

Karan
Visually stunning bar with a great selection of whiskies. The food is a huge let down though. The place still rocks and could really hit the stratosphere with a good chef in the kitchen.
Karan Dhir
Came with a friend for lunch, ordered stir fried pork belly with chilli rice along with pahadi(green) chicken and lemon rice. Exquisite food, waiting to come back here.
Tiya Patel
This spot has excellent ambience.Good nourishment anyway the choices are limited.many alternatives to drink..the bar territory is beautiful....service is snappy. Attempted Veg sushis, mango move, California roll, braised shitake mushroom and a couple of different things as well. Nourishment tasted great. They additionally serve a decent assortment of hard drinks.Though the sustenance and climate is pleasant.

Whiskey Samba

My partner and I decided to have lunch here as it had been on our “must visit” list for quite sometime. The hostess guided us to our table and spoke to us about the Dim Sum set lunch menu, specially curated by talented Corporate chef Vikramjit Roy which we decided to go for without further delay.
As we sat at our table admiring the bright and airy décor, we were given a complimentary drink called the Boarding Pass – a refreshing whiskey based drink. The bar here is one of the well stocked bars in NCR with a wide collection of whiskies and liquors.
Having decided our drinks – a pint of Stella Artois and a cocktail called the Royal Bengal Martini, we were given a printed menu with list of dishes from which we had had to choose from for each course and was fun.
First course was salad – I had the Avacado and Water Chestnut salad and my partner had prawn toast. Beautifully presented both were flavourful, light and refreshing.
Second course was delectable steamed pork ribs and mushrooms for my partner. Again great dishes subtle, sophisticated and a pleasure for the palate and eye.
Then came the dimsums. They were of different shapes, colours and fillings, each unique in its own way and were dumplings of joy which we just kept having with only sounds of satisfaction escaping between them.
I could name and describe them all here – but I suggest that you visit the restaurant and try them out yourself. Simply put the explosions of flavour in your mouth.
Next course were the soups. My partner had a smoked corn soup while I had a drumstick soup. Both the soups were simply amazing in their own way, specially the moringa, very tasty, almost addictive.
Then came the mains with a staple, I had a Poached fish Sichuan peppercorn with stir fried vermicelli while my partner had braised tofu, celery and leeks with stir fried flat noodles. Each dish was exceptional and a perfection in itself both in taste and presentation.
Last, but not the least – Desserts and Tea! My partner had chosen seasonal fruits and Darjeeling Tea while I picked the Coconut ice cream and later a Vanilla Bourbon Tea.
The Dim Sum Lunch is available on weekdays from 12 to 4 PM. This is a great way to relish many dishes at a very reasonable rate of Rs 1,200 AI and a must try for every foodie in the city.
We had an amazing experience with awesome food, great ambience, smart service and all at a pretty reasonable price.
Thanks team, take a bow. We will be back soon. Special respect for Chef Vikram you are a culinary genius. More power to you.
Akshay Rateria
A much hyped restaurant with overpriced cocktails without the punch. And the food has failed three times I have dined here. There is absolutely nothing good about any of the dishes. The saving grace is the decor and overall vibe.
Foodie Panda
Location is great. Food wise i did not get to have any fav. But they serve old fashion whishky cocktail, you will have to give it a shot. Go for old fashion😁
Tony Mathews
Great vibe and venue! Bartenders know their stuff as well.Loved the music selection, however the DJ seems to be a few years behind in terms of what it means to fade from one song to another.Definitely a place to visit again!
Amrita Dhar Roy
Usually a good experience however standards of service has declined a lot. The F&B is definitely top notch but the staff could do with a great deal of improvement.

Being whisky lover i always love this bar when ever i go there prabhakar take care of me
Thank u so much prabhakar. The bar have very food collection of whiskeys and food is outstanding.i will recommend this bar to every one nothing like whisky samba.

I would not recommend this place. This place is over hyped, food wasn’t good... poor service. ambience is really nice tho with good variety of alcohol.
Debasish Das
Nice ambiance. Loved the pork dishes. Nice collection of whiskey ofcourse. Music was ok but nice place to spend your weekend. I recommend. Food is tasty and amazing.

This is a great place for any sort of outing. The food is amazing, the drinks are nice. Staff is very courteous and the ambience of this place is great. One should try this soon
Sukhmani
Great vibe. Loved the service. The servers were attentive and very well versed with what’s on the menu. Suggested us good whiskeys to try and the food was good - could be better, hence the 4 stars.
Suresh Arora
The place is food. Ambience is excellent. Food is yummy and what not. Economical than the places in sector 29 and cyberhub. Music was nice and the atmosphere was lively. They do have live music too.
Vikas Wadhawan
Very good place to hangout with friends and family. Has very good variety of Whisky to offer. They have very good variety of starters and their dim sums are too good
Aditi
This is the best party place. They have very nice ambiance, more on western side. Overall a lit place. Must go and partaayyy!!!

Music 5/5
Drinks 5/5
Food 4/5
Tusharika
One Horizon Centre in general is on a more expensive side. Going to that place with friends when you’re on a budget is definitely not advisable. However, this place is great to visit with family. The food here was great but the portion size and quantity given of each food item was really less for the price we were paying. The bar area is really fancy and attractive and the place looks nice as well. But because of the food quantity and the extremely high prices, I personally would not prefer to go here again. It is an extremely comfortable and cool place to visit if you can afford it otherwise it’ll just make you feel bad that you cant afford it.

As we all know, Gurugram is packed with crazy party places. But talk about the most trending place and it has to be Whiskey Samba where all the party goers want to head to.

Location: Two Horizon Center (Upper level ), DLF Phase 5, Golf Course Road, Gurugram

Ambience: It's a cool semi formal place to spend a good evening with friends, loved ones or people from the corporate world

Music : The DJ is amazing. He plays great commercial music. He plays the latest going all the way back to the 90's

Food : While this place has a huge range of whiskeys (you name it and they have it), they could work a bit on adding more items in their food menu. Though the options are limited but I have to admit that the snacks that they do have are delicious. We ordered Nikki's sushi rolls and sliced lamb with herb crumble ( an excellent blend of veg & non-veg)

Love the bar, the decor and the whole feel of the place. It had a great vibe. Highly recommended if you're looking out to chill out with your clan
Krishna Vatsal Tyagi
We 12 people went to this place and ordered a bottle of whiskey, the staff made the drinks without even asking us just to finish the bottle and argued also. The food is also very limited and the staff is very un co operative.

Very bad experience and will not recommend if you want to spoil your evening.
I would have rated negatively if given a choice.
Jatin Garg
Very very limited food options.
Waiters prepare your peg of 80-90 ml to finish the bottle quickly
It's working only due to ambience. Nothing special
Dev
Whisky samba is highly discussed bar and eatery in skyline 1,it is an extensive bar with huge decision of liquor and mixed drinks. an incredible spot to be in. Sustenance menu is with a little bend, grain Risotto with ghee,Bihari red rice with mushroom , and so on nourishment readiness and introduction was great.
Mohit Pandey
Nice place to hangout specially on weekend with friends ... Vibe of this place is too good .. value for money and great food and service...Music is good too
Bhoomika Awasthi
The first thing that strikes you is the insane whiskey wall. The super curious staff then goes on to seat you and ask specifically if everyone is a whiskey fan. They then serve you the complimentary "Boarding Pass". I'm yet to drink a whiskey cocktail which tastes this good! The ambience is superb as is the food. I just wish they had a bit more variety through. But overall, it's amazing!
Russel Nayyar
I have heard a lot about this place and finally got to visit it sometime back. First of all, the people that come here are the absolute prim and proper types. When you come here, be ready to shed a bomb, it's more expensive that the other places around. Now the food, there's a lot to explore if you're a non vegetarian - like duck, prawns etc. Lesser variety for chicken. Desserts are way too experimental for anyone to instantly like it. So my experience was not as great as I expected but I'd say you visit and try for yourself.
Tanisha Jain
The food drinks and ambience, everything was lovely. The only thing we really didn't like was the Avocado Toast. The guacamole in top was great but the bread was really soggy and hard in some places. That was one thing which was like REALLYYY bad. Otherwise we also ordered Sushis, risotto, kale salad and some SUPER TASTY 🍹 cocktails!
Sukhda Anand
We decided to go brunch at Whisky Samba on Sunday. To our surprise, they had a very specific Assamese brunch menu to serve. Skeptical at first, we decided to get it out. Not too expensive, around 2k plus additional 1k for cocktails (and they errr serving fresh mimosas!).

The food to our surprise was really good. It was most def great to try out a new cuisine and the live music made it all even better. The good included a lot of sea food and the main course was very typical, Puri and curries, super heavy but yum.

Good work getting the Assamese brunch together, Whisky Samba!
Kanav
We had dimsums and smoked salmon , both were pathetic . They are charging 685 for 4 dimsums which are not even properly cooked . Salmon was raw , taste was not at all good
Vishal Singh
Nice place to hault and have a sip of amazing spirits while
Going from office to home. Unique dishes and nice outdoor sitting. It’s a nice place to do even business meeting with high spirits!!!
Navita Valeja
5 star ambience but 3 star food - while its a good place to have a whisky or wine of any kind, their food is only average. They have a great collection of drinks from any part of the world, however the food and starters are only average in taste. You must understand that they don't make the whisky or wine. They just serve it. Food is their own, which is average.
Palak Kashyap
One of my favourite place to spend a good time with friends and family. Love the ambience at the place and the food is super delicious. I have been to Whisk Samba a number of times and have tried a lot of dishes but my favourites are avacady on toast, spicy chicken leg and sesame chicken for starters. I also really recommend the lamb shanks, tender and full of flavours. I am really impressed by their presentation and the nice twist that they bring to the regular food.
Zinnia P
A fun party place, not so much a place to go for a meal. Busy, crowded and more of a club. Music is nice and the atmosphere is lively. I was here on a night when there was a live music and a lot of dancing and we loved it....
Saurav Chawla
The whiskey collection is amazing! Best place if you are a whiskey lover (prices are of course high). The food though needs a lot of improvement. Service is good.
Shweta Pattnaik
Amazing crowd! Great mocktails! I loved the white chocolate mocktail. The food, ambience, music, everything is very classy. Perfect place for a great night out!

And this place has beautiful ambience....good food however the options are limited....many options to drink...the bar area is beautiful....service is quick... will gain visit the place soon....i wish they had more options to sit...its very difficult to grab a seat...its always full😊

27th April visit
Completely unorganised. Waiting staff looked like chicken without heads. The ongoing party had this huge participation announcements, completely ruined our evening with people from party drunk, noisy and stood on our tables without a ounce of privacy.
Food is so over priced that now 2 slices of cucumbers that are free at most cost 500+ taxes here. Good place if you want to look rich but not a place to party and they are great in burning hole in your pocket.
Seasme chicken is truly mediocre and their chilly chicken is poured with red chillies. while cost burn hole in your pocket Their chilly chicken will make you cry. Bill for 4 was 14000.
Harsh Naraini
Tried Veg sushis, mango roll, California roll, braised shitake mushroom and a few other things too. Food tasted good. They also serve a good variety of alcoholic drinks.
Though the food and ambience is nice but the restaurant is much more expensive in comparison to the food being served.
Aditya Karwa
Whisky samba is much talked about bar and restaurant in horizon 1 , it is a large bar with big choice of alcohol and cocktails. a great place to be in. Food menu is with a little twist , barley Risotto with ghee , Bihari red rice with mushroom , etc. food preparation and presentation was good. Prices are bit stiff.

Though expensive but honestly worth its price. Had an amazing time at this place with my team. Really enjoyed the afternoon meal & look forward to returning here soon

Had heard a lot about the place, and boy the place was totally worth all the hype.

We reached the place at around 8:30 PM on a Saturday night and had asked for a reservation, which turned out to be a wise decision. The place starts getting quite crowded 9 PM onwards so it is recommended to turn up early in order to get a place here.

The ambience, seating and the serving is definitely above par than any fine dining restaurant that I have been to. The seating for most couples was on a long table – with both the partners sitting on either side of the table, this one reminded me of the Western style of fine dining. Although it sounds cramped, it was quite spacious for both people.

We were greeted with a cocktail on the house – it was called boarding pass and was quite a good start with good flavours of whisky and ginger ale. Gets you started on the right note. Next we ordered a Van Gogh Swirls and Smokes, and a Cezanne nahi asaani for my wife. Both the drinks were excellent choices. Hers was more fruity just like she likes it and mine was more flavourful with a nice pleasant after taste.

For food, since we were quite hungry, we went straight for a large plate, it was called Aam Kasundi Fish. Flavorful fish curry with tangy taste along with ghee rice. Must say it was quite commendable and the portion size although small was apt for 2 people.

The servers were always attentive with the ambience and music adding a great deal to the vibe.

It is definitely on the expensive side with couple of drinks and one large plate costing us INR 3K for 2 people – but definitely a place to come back whenever one feels like chilling and splurging.

Been here more than a few times and it always feels a new way to discover what this place offers. Great food, great presentation and great ambience.

Its not a daily goto place for our pockets but an awesome place occasionally.
So we went there on our anniversary.. after reading on Zomato that this place also serves North Indian. But alas we were utterly dissatisfied and disappointed.

This is a place for drinks and seafood nay be but definitely not a fine dining place for Indian food!!

Spoilt my special day! 😥

Had heard a lot about the place from many friends, so went there in the last trip to check out myself.
We made a reservation in advance to avoid last min stress as the place get crowded by 9pm esp. on fridays. The location is nice and with only limited places around its not as crowded as cyber hub or Sec 29 market.

We took outside table, and I must say with nice breeze its worth every minute spent.

They pour liquor from the bottle in front of you, to build the credibility. Besides the regular drinks, wheat beer and whiskey trails are a must try. We didn’t find the food very tempting, therefore only had snacks. Overall, a good experience.
Simply amazing. Now I know, why it is called one of the best cocktail bar in town. Recommended for cocktail lovers.

Food is also good. A little expensive but quality of food and ambient make it worth.

Good ambience and location but music, menu and food taste has something missing with lot of scope to improve. Even after change in menu cannot relate to the food.

We've done Whisky Samba before, but thankfully this time we had a while and got in early to enjoy the place. Delighted with the weather, we sat outside for the get together with friends.

My friends enjoyed the welcome drink, while I enjoyed an interesting spicy guava mocktail. My drink was something that everyone ordered alcohol with my drink.

In starters we tried 2 interesting dimsums- a veggie in some soya and another one reach was more green. The sushis- veg tempura was good while the kimchi - mango was interesting too. The tofu chilly was good but lacked accompaniments, while the chilly chickenesh dish was something our friend enjoyed.

Dinner was daal and some kulcha, rice and a tasty and interesting spinach gravy.

Overall a delicious though not inexpensive meal.

Recommended.

Whisky Samba is a beautifully done up space with one of the best cocktail menu. The aura of the place and the outdoor sitting literally would steal your heart. We ordered High Maintenance and There’s something about Mary and both were amazing in taste. The flavours were just apt giving you the perfect hit.
Boarding pass, their whisky based drink was on the house and was real good (though I’m not a whisky person).
Staff is also very courteous.
The place is totally value for money
Overall, was very happy with my experience.

Ram milan is a fine server. Would recommend asking for him when you visit to serve you. The food’s good overall and so is the ambience and everything else you come to expect with the place.

Cutting one star because the music did not make sense for a half outdoor, half indoor dining primary space. Since there was no dance floor, the music volume could’ve been lowered to encourage a more conversation friendly dinner. Also, the table arrangements are slightly questionable but hey, that’s a management call!

Such Bad Food🤮
I’ve Never Ever Eaten Such Bad Food..
Everything was double fried.
Taste disgusting
As Suggested By The Server
The best
Crispy Asparagus Dimsums
Crispy Prawns Dimsums
Was sooo bad
Crispy Shiitake Mushrooms Horrible
Crispy Prawns again horrible.
Plus food wasn’t very hot when served.
2 thing i liked was lamb chops and water chestnuts and avocado salad.
And the cocktails were amazing.
Finally decided to make the trip from one part of town to another to celebrate a couple of occasions together. A promotion, a commissioning of an officer, an IAS preparation finally coming to an end.

Out here with the boys, in the mood to get a few fancy cocktails and then the regular poison down the system. Being greeted and seated with alcoholic welcome drinks named Boarding Passes was just great. Tasted equally great as well. Ordered the following cocktails :
1. Van Gogh Swirls and Smokes
2. Whiskey Samba Sour
3. Mr. Spice and Nice (Plum Oriented Cocktail)

The Whiskey Sour was the one that suited my palate the most with the Spice & Nice blowing me away on presentation. The overall Cocktail experimentation session pleasurable.

The food is where I was taken by surprise! It outdid the cocktails and I wasn't expecting that for even a brief second. Decided to go with a Chicken with Fermented Chilli and Stir Fried Pork Belly.

Taste on POINT! Plating on POINT! Portion size on POINT! Food experience completely on POINT!

The chicken dish is essentially a chilli chicken preparation but with each ingredient being individually flavoured especially the beets.

The show stopper for the evening by far goes to the Pork Belly! Tender yet firm in a sauce that gave me the urges to lick the bowl clean. The rice that accompanied it was of similar fashion. Independent enough to enjoy by itself.

A great place to enjoy a few cocktails with the boys and definitely worth dropping by for a meal if this is the level of food that has to be offered.

Great job guys!

We visited this place for a friends birthday treat, the ambience was quite good and the location of the restaurant is also great.
We ordered poached chicken dumplings, beetroot cutlet(I don’t remember the name of the dish), aam kasundi fish, sushi and chilli mushrooms.
The beetroot cutlet was a new dish for me and it turned out to be amazing. The taste was real good!
Chicken dumplings came immersed in soya sauce and were plated very well.
The sushi and the chilli mushroom were also good.
I would recommend a visit to this place.
A must have is the beetroot cutlet!

The BAR its beautifully designed and its one of humongous collections of whiskies and other spirits. The signature complementary drink boarding pass is great , the name says it all. Food and drinks were great , though we spent very less time here but totally blown away by the ambiance and service.

Amazing cocktails, great taste. My favourite is absinthe but present. The only issue is the wait time to get a drink. Would be lovely if the bar could be better on service time.

Beautifully done up place, the whiskey wall is a dream. Special mention to the DJ, who creates the perfect atmosphere for the customers. The staff are well behaved and helpful.

We ordered a few whiskeys from their selection and tasted the cocktails: Boarding pass and Mr.Spice. Both were amazing!

Go there to have the best time with your people!

It's not every day, you get enthralled by the entire spread. It's not every day that each and every preparation of a brunch spread, impresses us so very much. And it isn't every day, that we eat from a menu by Chef Vikramjit Roy. In fact, at times, I wonder, if it's fair to call my friend a chef. He can easily pass off as a magician. The magic he does with his recipes has a surreal effect on the senses. Some of the regular dishes, often savoured at home, get a delicious avatar, when prepared by him. Now, isn't that magic?

We were lucky to be at Whisky Samba for the Sunday Brunch, recently. First, a couple of interesting facts about the brunch at this place. There isn't a fixed menu. The menu is changed almost every Sunday. And the spread isn't as vast as a typical brunch buffet but each preparation is a hard to miss one. So, go for this brunch with a pretty good appetite.

We started our meal with two salads. Raw Papaya & Chicken Salads. The first thing you will notice about these two preparations is the riot of colours. Colours that add an extra element of freshness on a warm Spring afternoon. Especially, the raw papaya salad had a host of colours, replete with rose petals and microgreens. Talking about the flavours, the salads had a nice mix of subtle flavours, without losing on the signature flavour of the principal ingredients. The chicken, procured specially by chef, had a different level of freshness to it. Loved both the preparations.

I had a Van Gogh, along with this. This cocktail with Laphroig, Jim Bean and a burnt pineapple is for serious whisky lovers. If you like whisky, this is something you will love.

The next starter, is something that my taste buds will remember for quite sometime. Mutton balls wrapped in cabbage leaves, served on a spicy sauce made with mutton broth. If this isn't enough to make you salivate, read on. The best bit about this preparation is the sauce. With a distinctive flavour of mutton, the sauce enhances the flavour of the mutton balls, manifold. Add to it the cabbage wrapped mutton. This is one preparation I had for the first time. And saying that it was love at first bite, won't be wrong at all. Go for it.

Moving ahead, next on our plate was the Beetroot kebabs with a dip that leaves a lingering taste on the palette. Though I am a hardcore non-vegetarian, there's something special about the vegetarian dishes here at Whisky Samba. Case in point being this Kebab. Simple yet everything about the preparation, from its texture to the taste, when had with the dip, is something so very drool-worthy.

Continuing with our starters, the next was Roasted Pumpkin Soup with chicken and bacon strips. Need I say more? I guess so. A thick soup with a bit of chilli sauce, the soup was an absolute delight. Different textures, different flavours of several ingredients came together to give it a complex, delightful flavour. It was such a pleasure to have it that we were reaching for the next spoonfuls, sooner than expected. Also, the fact that it's made live in front of you, keeping your preferences in mind, makes the experience all the more amazing.

Finally, it was time for the main-course.

Mrs. Wong's Lamb

Chicken with black sesame seeds

Kerala Red Rice

Poee

Now, let's talk about the star of the meal. Mrs. Wong's Lamb. Inspired by the recipe of one of Chef's family friends from Kolkata, this preparation had a delightful Chinese flavour to it. Robust in flavours, not too curry'ish in consistency and juicy lamb pieces. We were simply drooling over it. This is a must-must-have preparation. Don't even think of missing out on it.

The Chicken was yet another good preparation. But then since we cook the same dish, back in Assam, I was trying to draw parallels. Maybe the reason I couldn't concentrate much on it. The best bit was, when had with Poee and the red rice, the preparations tasted much better. Loved the combination.

In a nutshell, the brunch was an affair that we will remember for quite some time. Every element came together so beautifully that it was a compliment, our taste buds will take time to forget. Go for it.

Bit expensive but beautiful! They serves very tasty welcome drink(cocktail-whiskey) . Food taste and presentation was up to the mark. Service was also fast. It’s a perfect place for dinner date as well as for group hangouts.
