Review Cafe Amaretto - Gurugram (Gurgaon)

Vaibhav Kumar
I visited this place with my wife for dinner. We had gone to South Point mall for some work and happened to impromptu visit this hidden gem. I loved the ambience and food. The ambiance was lovely, and the menu offered a great selection of both veg and non-veg options. We started with the Fresh Tomato and Basil Soup đŸČ, a perfect 5/5 – absolutely delicious! The 🍝 Pasta that followed was also delightful, earning a high 4/5. We had ordered - Penne in a cherry tomato sauce however, we got it customized to add some Mushrooms, broccoli etc at a cost of just Rs50 additional. Absolute highlight was the bread basket that they served along with the pasta. It was too yum! Soft, airy, fluffy, garlicy, buttery and what not...and not to forget it was their in house made bread. A must must try... The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive atmosphere. A pro tip: you can pay with Zomato Gold (flat 15% discount), making the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Food was wow! I ordered a beet root and avocado tartar salad which was absolutely healthy. With a big scoop of avocado smash , ( it balanced the sweetness of beets) along with crunch and nutty flavour from walnut-it was heavenly! Then came pan fried prawns that were lite to eat and were e with butter and lemon sauce, kept on tangerine slices , they tasted gorgeous as they looked! a perfect protein starter . I also went for assorted bruschetta, it wasn’t bread bread ( was thin crust bread) topped with 3 different toppings; capsicum, mushroom and cherry tomatoes, and they all tasted different. Overall 5⭐ For the main course I ordered chicken with mascarpone cheese and sautĂ©ed exotic vegetables . Interestingly the chicken wasn’t dried ( I was expecting it) the flavours were subtle and balanced . Last came the gnocchi , it needs some work , wasn’t bad , pretty much average , but I’ve had better , one from an Italian chef , so

The cafe served good quality ingredients

Very nicely set cute little cafe on the ground floor. Romantic candles are lit, small size tables for you to enjoy an evening with your partner. Menu was different but nice. Loved there coffee ☕. The staff are very polite and friendly.

I loved the hummus pita falafel from here. It was so fresh and authentic. I am a big fan of hummus pita falafel and always in search of good places. I also tried their coffee it was also very good. I was a but disappointed by their lasagna but rest everything was very good. The ambience was very cute and nice.

This is one of the cute cafes in South point mall. Loved the ambience, soothing and cozy with warm lights. The menu has many veg non-veg options and we tried their margherita pizza and spinach ricotta ravioli. Both were good and the watermelon mojito was amazing. Pro tip: use Zomato or dineout to pay to get 15% and more off.

Very interesting menu. Cosy ambiance. And great food. The ingredients used were fresh and delicious. We ordered avocado beetroot salad and it was one of the best that I have had anywhere. Claps for the kitchen team. To begin with, we also ordered Spanish omelette and mushroom soup. The soup was yum. The omelette was okay. In the main course, we ordered baked mushrooms and they almost melted in the mouth. The falafel pockets are a must do if you love Mediterranean. And as far as Italian food goes, they are super impressive with Pinenuts and basil pizza and hand pulled pastas. Overall, I loved the food. And the staff was very cordial. They guided us right and also helped us to choose the best dessert. I think I have found a reason to return to South Point Mall in Gurgaon. Best wishes to the whole team.

This has been one of our favorite Italian cafes for long now. They seem to have recently changed their decor, and the ambiance has got more romantic and cozy. We have been a fan of their Irish, Spanish, and Dalgona coffees, Caprese Salad, and breads. Their other must try is the Pastas, made just right with the right richness and sauces. All in all, it is a recommended place if you are craving some good Italian food with just the right ambiance

Classy but cozy atmosphere. Incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Delicious food. Menu selections include nice appetizers (try the Mezze Platter), pizza (the pine nut and pesto pizza is wonderful), pasta (gnocchi is to die for), and desserts. The white sangria was tasty and perfect for summer.
Feathers in my pockets
Have heard a lot about this place. Went for lunch with buds, thankfullly it was not that crowded as compared to other places. The lunch somehow was average, our friends told us later that they had amazing food last time. That’s why will try this place once again. We had ordered herbs pizza, kiwi mocktails ( too sour), Oreo shake( best of all) raspberry sunrise( delicious) spaghetti Alio olio and chicken breast in mushroom sauce( best main course) I’ll say one can go there for the following: Zomato gold, they take bookings( good for weekend) place is nice and quite. Hopefully I get better food next time so I can write a better review!

A decent place. Went there for lunch. It's a small yet cozy place. The interiors are very well done. Loved the menu. Feel like trying all of it. Loved the Roast Chicken, the jus was to die for.. one of the best mashed potatoes I have had since I have returned back to India. Very creamy and just the right consustency. The chicken breast stuffed with mascarpone and spinach with butter sage sauce was also nice. The chiken bruschetta with barbeque sauce was just average. Also tried the spaghetti carbonara, the bacon bits were super crispy. Don't forget to ask them to make it creamier. The sangria was disappointing, though the fruits we're fresh, there was no sign of wine.. felt like soda and juice. Overall , had a very good time. It definitely is a kid friendly place.

A Beautiful cafe, filled with exquisite artwork, complimented with excellent food and service. I would highly recommend Cafe Amaretto - to take some time out and read a good book with a cup of coffee (and pastry) or to indulge in a delicious meal. Thank you for ensuring I had a great time.

Cold food recived.. white spegetty totally dry.. iits not worth ordering pasta or spaghetti.. restraunt failed to deliver upto the mark.. I had experience there dinning which was much better .. but you need to work on providing quality delivery hot food.
Barua.bhowmik
Horrible experience getting food delivered. Picture speaks for itself. The restaurant charges almost 900 rupees for this fish which comes with some horribly sautĂ©ed grilled vegetables. Please don’t waste your money on this. You can get better value for money in good Italian food being served in the neighborhood. And to top it off when I called the restaurant, they told me this is the portion size that they always give.
Sangeet Jaiswal
Price made it sound like the restaurant was premium, the dessert was a saver, tiramisu was good, and the good story ends there, chicken with mushroom sauce was delivered with foul tasting mashed potato, tasted like it was a few days old, pizza was sent in a way that half the slices were on top of the other half, it was soggy, cold, and flavourless, 1400 rs for a pizza and chicken dish I was expecting a good meal, extremely disappointed

If you are looking for authentic Italian cafe which has something for everyone in the family in their menu then Cafe Amaretto is the best one in Gurgaon that I know of. We have tried all their formats - in-Cafe dining, home deliveries and house parties - and haven’t been let down ever. Must try if haven’t done as yet.
Nalini
The pizza was stale. Chicken lasagne had foul smell and had spilled off the container. I ordered seeing your reviews. Do not recommend this place at all. Very poor quality and charge a hefty amount.
Sidharth Dehran
The ambience of the cafe was okay but the amount they are charging for the food is not at par with the quality and taste of food. Rest everything was acceptable.
Ananya-Foodie
Amazing place it is. Italian restaurant which have good vibes, calm, candle lights, fresh pizza and even mocktails, also try soup and pasta. It's On prime location in South point mall Gurgaon. Must visit place.
Tarika Seth
Disgusting service, sent a cake with mould for delivery

I generally choose cafes when I am not in a mood to stuff myself heavily. So, casually I selected this place for one afternoon and loved the food here. The ambience is little dim-lit but it works perfect for a cosy meal.

They have some amazing range of breads and as complimentary, they will give you freshly baked bread with olive oil. I ordered Grilled chicken with green veggies, which is basically a green salad with grilled chicken on top of it. The dressing was good and in perfect amount. I also order Pesto Chicken Sandwich which was served with olive bread & some fries. I loved the bread & sandwich as a whole tasted perfect.

Price of the dishes felt little on the higher side but if you have Zomato gold offer with you, you can easily overlook the price. I will surely visit this place if good & fresh breads comes in my mind.

I avoid going to cafĂ©, because of similar food and mostly below average experiences. When I got to know about CafĂ© Amaretto, I was skeptical but then I was told that it’s not new and has been operational for couple of years. Hence I thought to check-in whenever I would be in Gurgaon next.

It’s a cute small cafĂ© tucked at south point mall. White color and pretty sitting, I loved its first look.

Food was good whatever we had tried. Quinoa apricot and pomegranate salad was refreshing and well presented

Presto chicken bruschetta was surprisingly delicious - Small chunks of chicken in pesto sauce without bread. Grilled fish was nice and citrusy. Grilled chicken with mushroom was soft and juicy. The prawn was disappointing; had foul smell, which we sent back and shared the feedback with the chef too.

IF you are in South point mall, my recommendation is to visit this lovely quiet café on the ground floor. You will love it.

I have been to cafe Amaretto around 2-3 time with my wife and we absolutely love the food. I have tried couple of their veg pasta and they all taste really good. The garlic breads etc also taste really well. A special mention to their butter and thyme ravioli, which is just excellent! Tried their pizza also which is also really good. What i also like about the place is their consistency, i started going there in 2017 and it was good then and its good now in 2020. This place never disappoints.

We want to this place for a dinner and was pleasently surprised by the quality of food these guys are dishing out. I must compliment the chef.

We started out with the non veg antipasti which had chixken skewers , peparoni, prawns and calzone. All the parts if this antipasti were excellent, so much so that we ended up ordering the chicken skewers again because they really gelled with the sauce they were served with.

i forgot to mention these guys serve fresh baked complimentary bread like most decent places do.also a word about the ambience of this place, very well done interiors, seems the handiwork of a very smart woman.

Coming back to the wonderful food, we ordered the prawns from the appetizers which were done up in a very good sauce, i feel the sauce is the key to making good food and the chef at this place knows what he is doing.

From the mains we ordered the sole, which was again done in a very good sauce , this was served with sauted veggies and i thougholy enjoyed this dish.the peporoni pizza tasted authentic, I'll stop here again and mention that these guys are using excellent ingredients, the peporoni is top quality and iv never had such good peporoni before , in India at least.

and finally the best dish in this place which is called the linguini jalepeno with chicken, brocalli, lemon butter chilli sauce with prawns. This dish takes the cake, i cant explain the flavours of this delectable dish, it can only be tried and appreciated.

And to top it all these guys serve wine and beer too!!

Kudos to the chef , very classy place , 10 on ten will visit this place again!!!!

Small Italian cafe with good decor and food but bit expensive with respect to qty. i loved their vibe
The food was very presentable and delicious đŸ€€

First thing first!!

Yayyyeeeee for the fact that this place serves amazing amazing Mulled wine which i have been looking forward for so long..

Also second thing i was disappointed why i didn't know about this place by far! i mean i could have gone there so many times already by now.
but well, Like wow.. talk about their salads, their pizza, their pasta or Lasagna. Everything is just amazing. I mean it has got Italian Essence in it's true sense..

What i particularly liked most is the Chicken from the grill section. I think it was outstanding.

However still a small thing which is also very personal but i thought their chicken was much better than their meat items. But as i mentioned, make your wise call.
Overall a beautiful place with great service and amazing food!

Multicultural and genuinely global in its essence, Gurgaon celebrates all festivals with unprecedented zeal and enthusiasm. Decked up malls and flashy window displays update you about celebrations well in advance. Loud music and even more ornate decorations scream of consumerism, however, leave the little philanthropist inside you in dismay.

My quest for a tranquil corner during Christmas in this over-the-top city led me to Cafe Amaretto.

Located at a seemingly quiet corner of South Point Mall in Gurugram, Cafe Amaretto offers a lovely ambiance, to begin with. Coupled with soothing music and a delectable spread of Italian-European cuisine, I truly felt welcomed as a first-time guest.
Anikesh Bhandarkar
A decent place with good ambiance. We ordered the Fish & Chips, Lemon Butter Ravioli and Garlic bread. I liked the fish and chips but the other 2 dishes were decent (not great). But its definitely a one-time go!

We were staying in a hotel a short walk away but wanted to treat ourselves to a nice dinner in. What a nightmare. Three phone calls later and my husband having to walk out to the gate, we should’ve just picked it up ourselves. The food ended up being good but so many disappointments: it was cold (Zomato guy just standing in the cold with the food in his hands), missing bread, no napkins, no forks or spoons (which is not cool since we weren’t ordering from home...how are we expected to eat?) If you’re eating in the restaurant I’m sure it will be better, but for takeout this was such a disappointment

The food is really nice. Italian is one of my favorite cuisines and this place does justice. The portions are very good, and every dish that we ordered was really great in taste. The sitting place is good and the staff is very welcoming.
Meghna
The absolute worst experience dining at the restaurant today. The quality has dipped and they are making tasteless food filled with oil. Cafe amoretto has lost me as a customer. Terrible food and experience
Akansha Mehrotra
Otolona pizza was amazing! Well prepared and extremely juicy. Just loved it!

Good coffee, cozy place. Have food options for breakfast.

Cafe Amaretto has yummy Italian food. Really like their Pomodoro ravioli, watermelon and feta said and chicken breast with mascarpone and spinach.
Shria Goel
Ottolana pizza was very tasty. A good pizza after a very long time. Gnocchi pasta was good, different and soupy.

Every dish ordered was great. The staff was extremely courteous. Loved the experience

Crazy place to eat Itanian meal, the interiors are done so classy that it really takes you to the European street, with mind relaxing colours, spaghetti Risotto took my taste buds to most satisfactory journey I can imagine, but service wasn't that amazing the way place and food is.
Pavitrasoni0113
Perfect place to hangout on a lazy afternoon. The food is completely worth it. It was undeniably delicious!!!

Sumptuous for a single person. Meal in itself

I'm in love with the interiors, the ambience and the food at this place ! Situated on the lower ground floor of the south point mall, it's a petite cafe giving off Sicilian vibes.
We ordered -
đŸ”șPenne Pasta in Red Sauce 4/5
(The sauce is really fresh & yummy)
đŸ”șTotellini in butter basil sauce 5/5 (Favourite !!)
đŸ”șChicken Skewers 3/5
(They were a bit under, which the cafe politely exchanged. Still, i've had better ones.)
đŸ”șDiavola Pizza 4.5/5 (Pepperoni & red sauce based)
đŸ”șOreo Shake 4.5/5
đŸ”șMint Lemon 5/5

The presentation was great. But do note, the cafe is expensive with all the taxes & service charges. So it'll be a splurge for some yummy food.

It's a beautiful place, if you crave for a basic Italian food with Italian interior this place is the best for you, though I found staff very dumb or may he was nervous, anyways would love to go there again.
XOXO.❀.❀

The place was small bur decent. I didn’t like the pizza much. But the pasta was good.
The food quality was OK .

This is a nice and cozy place in South point Mall.. the food was good but their beverages got my heart 💕..
Their watermelon mojito was amazing and it had real watermelon (along with seeds) in it
For more reviews follow plate_se_pait_tak on Insta

The best ravioli I had in Delhi. I have become instant fan of this place. The spaghetti was equally nice and oh my, the Panna cotta was just the best finishing of the meal. Staff is courteous and nice. Will recommend this place to everyone.

This is one of the first places i visited when i moved to Gurgaon (now Gurugram). This place has a lovely ambience and vibe and serves the best pasta a available in the city! The price is however on the higher side and can be cut down a bit. All in all a good experience
Mona
We have been to this cafe 3 times. Food has always been good. This time it was exceptionally delicious. The handmade ravioli was soft, the sauce delicate. The pizza had fresh pesto. The quality was as good as if not better than an Italian restaurant in a five star hotel.
Deepanshu Juneja
The lamb burger is to die for but the pizza...not so much!
The aesthetics of this place are pretty strong!
A MUST VISIT W YOUR LOVED ONES
WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND 10/10
AND AMAZING STAFFFFF

The food was very average. I got pita bread and hummus which I believe was only ok. Preparation was not great and the service was on the carefree side.
Shefali Bisht
One of the fine cafés around with great ambience. We ordered coffee, Minced chicken lasagna and pesto chicken sandwich. The coffee came with complimentary garlic bread with tasted good. Lasagna and sandwich were really delicious. I was very much happy with my overall experience. Must visit.

This place is cozy and relaxed. Not much of a hustle bustle in this small restaurant. The food is amazing. The desserts are better than the food. Good for small group of friends, you can take the entire place into your command.

Good variety of food and decent pricing. Portion sizes are good too.

Must try dessert platter. Their tiramisu would make you high.taste it to believe it ,😉😉

This is a hidden gem in a mall full big breweries. Small and cozy Cafe but their food is as authentic as it can get. Me and my wife Vaishali Singh like Italian food but we are very particular about the taste. Now this place is amongst our preferred Italian joints in Gurgaon. I love their Papa Ravioli and linguini is just fantastic. Price is bit expensive but the food is worth it. Plus they are Zomato gold partner so that makes the dining experience even better. Carry on team Amaretto..đŸ‘â€ïž

This cafe was on my wish list since long. So i happened to try this last weekend. The service was fast and the waiters were polite. We ordered ravioli pasta and the chicken lasagne and watermelon mojito.
The best dish that i liked was chicken lasagne which was flavourful in taste and the quantity was good.
The taste of ravioli was average and was a bit dry for my taste.
Also, the presentation of watermelon mojito was really nice but I didn't like the watermelon seeds that you taste while drinking it with the straw.

Ambience 3/5
Food 3/5
Price 3/5
Service 4/5
M.TKD
I had a angel hair pasta(maybe it means more tin spaghetti) with tomato and mozzarella and tiramisĂč. Those were ok. One thing, if the pasta is al dente, it was much better for Japanese.
Anyway, it was good place to spend the off day. Thank you.
Tina Dhawan
Loved the salted caramel dessert served by Amaretto. I recommend a try. The coffee was good but the restaurant can be a little more lively to attract more people. Love the displayed paintings
Reema Batra
Breakfast options are tooo good. Nice clean white decor. Staff is quiet soft spoken. Ordered a cold frappe with English breakfast. It was good.
Pranjal Gaur
Quite average and expensive. Service is also not that good, I had to call them thrice to clean my table. Also, it's not like your regular cafes where you'd want to sit and stay for longer duration. Feels more like a restaurant.
The pizza was quite good though.
Parth Gupta
Small, Cozy place where you can have food and drinks over long conversations. Decor is simple, service is quick and food is up to the mark.

We tried-
‱ Assorted Multigrain Bruschetta
‱ Lasagna (Must Try)
‱ Passion Fruit with fresh basil
‱ Watermelon Mojito

Overall it was a good dining experience.

Recommend ✅

Simple but elegant interior. Nice background music. Food was excellent. Had pesto and pine-tree pizza and ravioli both the dishes were mouth watering. Falafal platter was good.
Maheep Sawhney
A cozy, ecstatic and modern decor that gives you and ample feeling. The food is well prepared and I won’t go as far as calling it lip smacking, but the spaghetti hits the mark like anything. There’s a lemon based fish dish that leaves you wanting more.
Amrita Dhar Roy
Cosy and Happy place!

Been quite a few times here - staff are warm and friendly and tried the pizzas which are my fav in Gurgaon and the caramel cake which is exquisite!

Best part - they reminded to use Zomato gold which says a lot about their customer experience

Will go back every single time!
Jasleen Thukral
So I have tried spaghetti with bacon and eggs, with chicken but this time it was with my all time favorite pork! For me spaghetti is just getting better and better with time! Well cooked and the sauce was just perfect I am gonna say! Not too thick and not too thin! Pizza was amazing too! And the ambience is just going to light up your mood!

I have moved to Gurgaon 3 months ago and I have been trying new places ever since. After much consideration, I shortlisted Café Amaretto for Friday night, a place that promised an authentic Italian experience. It had been a long week and I had high expectations from the café.

Amaretto is in the south point mall on golf course road, a place that is packed with unique restaurants, there are Japanese, Korean BBQ, all kinds of restaurant. Amaretto is a cozy place on the lower ground floor. They call it a café and art gallery but hanging five art pieces and calling it a gallery is a bit of stretch in my opinion, regardless, it might be a good conversation piece if you are interested in the fine arts.
The place is smaller than I expected but it does have that little café charm with white colored furniture and wine glasses neatly arranged near the walls.

The menu is mostly Italian, so you won’t find any other cuisine here if you are not a fan of Italian food. If you are, however, there is a lot to choose from, risotto, ravioli, lasagna and other pasta names I can’t pronounce are all here. They have interesting renditions of pizza here as well.

We tried the pesto and pinenut pizza, veg lasagna and mango cheesecake. The pizza was a highlight, one of the most unique pizzas I have ever had and one of the few places in the city where you can get pesto pizza. They have a lot of standard pizza options as well if you don’t want to experiment too much. The lasagna and cheesecake, however, were disappointing. I had high expectations from a place promising authentic Italian, but the quality and flavor just wasn’t there. You can find much better lasagna and cheesecake in the city.

The prices of the dishes are on the higher side, as it is common with the restaurants on the Golf Course Road but having Zomato gold softens the blow on your wallet. I would suggest this place only if you are a fan of Italian food.

Rating – 3.5/5 🌟
Snehasish Das
We went to eat Pizza here with the hope of eating some authentic Italian cuisine. Unfortunately we were really disappointed with their quality of food. We ordered a margherita pizza and a pepperoni pizza. Both primarily had the same fault that the amount of cheese was too less and the base marinara sauce used was lacking flavour. For the amount they charged for the pizza the quality was very disappointing, especially if you are driving all the way down to din in.
Nayan Shah
The food is tasty but expensive. The packaging killed it completely. Not sure how the dine-in experience is, though. Not worth a delivery home.
Daman Soni
Excellent food. Loved the alio olio. Been here multiple times. Always been great. Would love to have some windows in the restaurant though:)
Riyanka Roy
Very nice place! I was initially a bit skeptic to step in, since it was empty and for a moment I felt that they're closed! But loved the food... Tried the seafood risotto which was delightfully creamy with a tinge of lemon, and the grilled chicken. The coffee was not very hot though, but overall it was a good dining experience.
Madhav Singh
The moment I first caught a whiff of the herby aroma emanating from the kitchen - inviting me to satiate my soul - I knew I was in for a rustic Italian experience, and Cafe Amaretto does not disappoint.
Rohan Raj Barua
Food was extremely below average. Just seemed like it was frozen food that was fried and served. Had a bad dining experience overall with the low quality freshness.
Priya Sharma
Visited here after reading the great reviews. Ordered their pasta and chicken burger. The pasta when it was served was undercooked. I was hugely disappointed. On complaining they cooked it again, they fixed the dish but it tasted very average. For the food that was served, the place seemed to be overpriced and scaled average in terms of taste.

Nice small little cafe which we found through Zomato.. A tiny little cafe with a fantastic and more importantly authentic Italian spread. Pizzas are well made in wooden ovens and the main course were prepared with great flavours.
A must go for Italian food lovers. Not many tables but on a Sunday lunch visit there was no waiting time. Simple, authentic and lovely food

Not a lot of people visit the South Point mall, and this outlet is also pretty small, but the authentic Italian taste is on point! Loved the carbonara.
Saransh Bansal
Their cozy ambience is served with just perfect food! My favourite place to go for a brunch on weekends. Their eggs bendedict - the best I have ever had.
Prateek.prateekprats
Very tastefully done up place. The food has been great since they started off. The staff is very courteous too. We had ordered pasta, salad & wine. The salad was super fresh & the taste-very balanced. A great place in Golf course rd!
Fitwithmanisha
A fresh new taste , humble yet stylish ambience, small cozy and accommodating. Enjoyed the food , the aroma of the freshly baked breads was absolutely alluring and of course it tasted awesome.
Nikhil Dsouza
So visited Cafe A on a weekend with another family...cute place...small tables with too many appointments...food was good n tasty...desserts disappointing and sangria (well they don't have any recipe..just drop cut fruits before service in the glass -the server confirmed).

Service was prompt (but lacking smiles) guess as the place was relatively less occupied...portions were hearty...we ordered ravioli, carbonara n pizza..everything delicious...ordered the dessert platter and first dip of my spoon realized that this was a mistake...very amateurish in taste n presentation..best avoidable...

All in all an okie dokie experience...not high on my return list...

I have heard a lot about this place and got a chance to explore it recently. It’s a cute place with all white ambience. Service was prompt. Food was also good. Ordered Gnocchi and Antipasti (veg). Both dishes were decent. They have in-house bread basket as well. Overall a cozy quiet place to spend some good time with friends.
Pooja Kapoor
Really loved this place. Cozy joint and food was super amazing. Ordered mezze platter and tortellini with minced chicken in butter basil sauce (which was damn amazing). Oreo shake was good too. It is worth a visit. Little on the expensive side though, but zomato gold helped a bit.
Karan
It’s a great place in south point mall. The ambience was little dark. We ordered grilled chicken and pizza. Grilled chicken was great but pizza was not worth the hype .
Asavarisharma19
The ambience is nice and dim with flickering candles. The fact that the place is also a gallery is really cool. Here are the things I liked to eat here —-

The Watermelon Mojito (5/5) - this was a star drink. So refreshing and nice and sweet. We ordered another one I believe.

Their Complimentary Bread (5/5) - such different varieties of buttered breads. One variety was a knot style bread and the other was a flat slice style. The dipping sauces with it were lovely. We binged on two baskets of these before our real food even came.

The Vegetarian Antipasti (4/5) - I’ve never enjoyed grilled vegetables so much. They were seasoned very well. And the cheese used in the platter was premium.

Here are the things I didn’t quite like —-

The Gnocchi (2/5) - I came here craving gnocchi, having set my mind to eating it even before I looked on the menu. I was so disappointed when the Gnocchi arrived. It was like a thin tomato soup which had unformed dollops of sweet potato and chunks of a cheese that resembled very closely with tofu or paneer. The only flavours I remember from this dish are or sweet tomato and sweet potato. It wasn’t even well seasoned. Moreover, the worst part of it all was that the tomato soup under these dollops of sweet potato dumplings was COLD. The dish wasn’t even warm. I’ve usually had gnocchi that’s made of potato and not sweet potato. These sweet tastes completely threw me off.

The Linguini with Prawns (3/5) - it had a very fishy and smokey taste (that’s understandable because of the prawns maybe). The taste grew on you as you kept eating. But I’m not personally a fan of this taste.

It’s also quite an expensive place despite Zomato gold. However, I understand that we may have ordered the wrong dishes. Heard good things about this place.

Went for a family dinner. Nice small place to eat and have conversations. Simple sitting and ambience.

Food

Ordered a tomato basil soup, Margherita pizza and a green apple goat cheese salad with rocket leaves.
Soup was warm simple and comforting. A tiramisu to close the dinner was also ordered. The salad was over loaded with rocket leaves and there was hardly any goat cheese. Had to request to add some cheese atleast for a varied taste. They added it on request. The pizza was average. Tiramisu was better.

Service

The saddest part of the dinner. Service was too too slow and inefficient. Fifteen mins after sitting we had to ask for water. Even then not everyone was served water. Pizza took atleast 45 minutes to be served. Either the service staff of the chef forgot about the order. There was no intimation of the delay as well. The manager was not present at the restaurant when we requested to meet him once. Sad experience where I went with high expectations.

Pricing

I felt it is slightly expensive. I use the benefit of Zomato gold to avail a discount.
I totally loved this cozy place. We ordered Alfredo pasta and the pizza.. both were tasty, specially the smoked chicken pizza was good. However the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream was not soft and fluffy enough..

The place is really pretty and has a nice ambience. The food was healthy and tasty both. We ordered ravioli pasta and a pizza. The filling of the ravioli had great taste with the perfect blend of flavours. Their pizza toppings were different and had a great combination. They also served an in house baked bread. It was a great experience with amazing food. Would love to visit again.

Nice place and great food must visit when in south point mall. Also enjoyed their coffee, it’s a small place so you may end up waiting for a table.

Cafe Amaretto is a delightful surprise!
Place is nicely done up, with comfortable seating.
Food is italian, authentic kind and not the mismash kind.
Starting with the soft bun with olive oil and balsamic vinegar to the dishes that we tried.
We had the wood roasted chicken with zucchini tempura & Black pepper mushroom sauce...soft and succulent chicken with excellent sauce...all ingredients are fresh and quite balanced. We also tried saffron Risotto with prawns and lemon zest...a delicately/ mildly flavoured dish. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and portions are quite wholesome.
We finished off with salted caramel cake ..again v nicely prepared.
Look at the picture of the plate and you will have no doubt on the taste!!
Must visit...hope they keep up the good work!! Definitely a place with lots of character...

The theme of exterior & interiors is white, sitting is casual comfortable. Our order of chicken lasagna, mushroom risotto & pizza pepperoni just about okay in taste, the lack of salt in lasagna suppressed the taste, pizza could have been more cheesy, the best dish was mushroom risotto. They also sell the paintings displayed on the walls.

We tried Omarato Pizza which was average at best. Ravioli is a must try, very nicely prepared! Quite an expensive place so Zomato Gold is a must to save some bucks
Overall, not a must visit cafe!

I am a big big fan of their Tiramisu...honestly the best i had in Gurgaon so far..its a must try you guys! dont miss it...
Their Pasta is also very refreshing to your taste buds as its not like ones you get in other cafes , the heavy & creamy ones...pastas here have flavors & cheese does not dominate your palette...
I would have fallen in love with this place had it been somewhere outside, with a view. This seems like a box in south point mall and is one of those places where i only only go for food!

Cafe Amaretto , I heard about this place from my friends last month and since then I was planning to visit this place and finally I came here last Friday with two of my friends. When we entered the place we were amazed about the ambience and the decor of the restaurant. We ordered some salads and main course. The food was amazing and the service was also great. After the food we had desserts i.e. tiramisu and salted caramel cake. The desserts were also good. It was a great experience been there. I will visit again with my family soon. It's a place worth a must visit. Thank you Team Amaretto to make our evening a memorable evening.

Last week I visited this place and had ordered tortellini but received spaghetti instead. We were hungry and the food was tasty so we didn't complain but this kind of service is not acceptable.
