Review Sakley's - The Mountain Cafe - Gurugram (Gurgaon)

This is a nice and cozy place to hangout with friends and colleagues. The menu contains mostly western options but I am happy to say that they have done justice to the taste and texture of the dishes. Usually it's not crowded and the background music is dim so you can have conversations or take office calls if required.

Cozy little cafe. Dim lighting and good music. We tried the pizza which was good. Service is fast.

This is a nice and cosey place at the Galleria complex in Gurugram. I had fish and chips. The crispness of the chips was perfect. The tartar sauce was very good. Fish served was Basa which is the common choice of most of the restaurants. While the fish served was ok, I felt there are opportunities to improve by making the coating less thick and more even. Overall it's a good place to visit. Portion size is large and hence taking that into consideration price is reasonable.

It is a cozy book cafe, a perfect place to stop by. I tried lenon ice tea, it was superb. Also, the staff were polite and generous about the service. In this cafe the books kept are based on the theme mountain, found books of Ruskin Bond here too. Do check it out. The place won’t disappoint you. Being on road side does not impact it with outside noise.

A cosy little cafe in Galleria Market offering global food. Hospitable and friendly staff. Cobblestone drive caramel caffe latte was nice, not a coffee lover so won’t be able to say much. Green grass lemon iced tea was very refreshing and they made it exactly how I wanted ( less sugar ). Coming to food we tried something recommended by the staff. It was Woodville cheesy chicken sandwich with salami and mustard. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Sufficient amount of filling, the chicken pieces were succulent and flavourful and the mustard was giving the dish a wonderful kick which was extraordinary. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to try some other dishes there.

This place is love ❤️. Have been a regular here and I'm in love with the Pizzas here which are delish. However, the Ice teas are a must try alongwith Pastas. Give it a try, you won't regret it. P.S. - The place is fairly small so if you are someone who likes you seats cushy, comfy and wide. You might find the sitting to be too basic

Sakley's is a small cafe with a seating capacity of about 12 top 15 people. It's kinda dimly lit but the interiors are cozy. One of their best features is the music... amazing country music. The coffee and shakes taste great. The food is pretty good and served in huge portions which is surprising. Gets kinda difficult to finish everything sometimes😋. And the desserts are decent and again huge portions. Visit this place for a quaint experience.

This place stays true to its name. As you have a seat here, you are transported to a cafe nestled in the Himalayas - the same music, the same ambience. We had the Oreo shake and Mars shake, which is for those who have a sweet tooth. Moreover, we tried their sizzler, mixed sauce pasta and pizza. All the dishes tasted good but nothing that stood out special. I would definitely visit the place again for their ambience. P.S. The food here is presented in big portions.

A very quaint little cafe with just a few tables to dine-in. We ordered pasta and chicken salad. It did take a while to get the food on the table. The food was tasty and large enough for two of us to overeat. So if you have some time at hand and want to relax and eat good food head here.

The chocolate mud pie, ginger lemon honey tea, a book about the mountains and some familiar music from the bygone era - most evenings at sakleys have had these elements and I've loved them all. Its a special place. :)

Ordered a banoffee pie from the place. It was fully loaded with whipped cream with ripe bananas. The base was missing totally. Not worth the money at all.

Ordered from the restaurant after seeing the ratings and I am glad to say it is fabulous. The packing was perfect. Do try the wolf mountain chicken steak and the wild mushroom pasta.Would defiantly be ordering more regularly from here.

I believe there is a special place in hell for restaurants who claim they are using ‘wild mushrooms’ and then send seriously old and wrinkled pieces of button mushrooms in overcooked pasta boiled with a vat of cream. It was so bad that it knocked all wind out of me, and I threw up the one bite I did have. All the food went straight into the bin, where it belonged. Special mention for the wai wai noodles- so insipid and bland that I couldn’t believe it. I do much better using the wai wai spice packet itself. Waste of money, and probably a hazard during these times- the veggies were old- if they could barely be bothered about the ingredients, the place does not inspire confidence for any sanitisation efforts.

Nice Food

This small cafe playing retro music is a delight for food and music lovers. Tried their baked white sauce pasta. It was appetizing and very rich in cheese. They serve mashed potatoes as sides which again would just melt in the mouth. The place also has some delicious variants of pizzas on offer.<br/>Also loved their beverages, especially the oreo cookie shake. Highly recommended as this place is definitely a heaven for the foody soul.

Sakley's us truly worth a visit. The ambience is warm and brings the whiff of the hills as soon as you open the door. The woody, rustic feel with the melodies of classic songs resonating in the air. The caramel and chocolate shakes are to die for. Loved the pasta in white sauce. Chances are that you're going to gorge on the food and would leave the place too satisfied.

I love the food, the ambience, the books, the staff and everything about this place. The staff are so courteous that they remember what I like to order and recommend new things and also remember that I don't like certain ingredients.<br/><br/>The only thing that could make the place better is if they had a few weekly rotating items on the menu (but that's because I visit them too much).

The place is small, but very cozy and they have a sitting of around 6 to 7 people, but the ambiance they have created is very amazing, from the book shelf to the table, the menu and the pictures on the wall I like the creativity.<br/>They have tried to get the mountain cafe feeling to gurgaon and I think they have succeeded.<br/><br/>Now the food we order one Sherwood bbq chicken pizza+ salami and a grey willow pasta in Mix sauce.<br/>I am that sort of a person who loves chicken and both pizza and pasta were full of chicken so I was in love with both the dishes.<br/>The quantity was two much for two person so couldn't finish the pizza.<br/><br/>I just love the place, a good place for a date and to have good conversation. Rustic ambience, great good (specially sandwiches are Great) and heartwarming coffees. Staff is very supportive and well-behaved. Seating is limited so waiting is possible during weekends and peak hours. Deserts are quite bigger in size , I hope to see some smaller deserts during next visits.😊

Cozy little cafe, with lovely ambience and decor. I had their cold coffee, truffle cake with ice cream and red sauce pasta and must say it was fab!

It's a very cute and small cafe which serves delicious Italian cuisine with slurrping drinks. The seating capacity is less. It's a nice restaurant to bring a date to eat a dessert too. Desserts are mouthwatering by looks but a little less than that when you eat. The mocktails are amazing,my favourite was the langdale's mango lime iced tea,it had a sweet and tangy taste.

A small cafe on galleria market having just 4 tables. We just ordered their signatur ice cream blended cold coffee. It was served in huge glasses. The taste was superb. The manager was very cheerful and helpful.<br/>A nice cozy cafe to sit and relax.

After roaming around Galleria market and unable to decide where to dine, my wife and I entered Sakley's without any knowledge what this place served. We found it to be quaint with a hilly ambience. Good English music (presumably from the 80's) was on. The menu had options of burgers, sizzlers, sandwiches and fries. We ordered a chicken sizzler in pepper sauce, which was very good. The fries on the sides were crisp and thick, more like potato wedges- unlike the mass produced ones you would find at a McD. But the highlight of the dinner for me was their Banoffee pie. I am a huge Banoffee pie fan and have had it a couple times, once at Amour cafe in Delhi and the other time at a restaurant in Goa. I look for it at dessert shops, but I either never find it on the menu or if I do find it on the menu, it doesn't look as appealing to the ones I have tried. But at Sakley's the pie looked delectable on their counter. We got a generous helping with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream. Both complemented each other very well. The pie was EXQUISITE! The Graham cracker crumb base, the large helping of cream, the bananas layered in between and the caramel dressing- each lent a flavour to the pie separately. I am going back to Sakley's again for the Banoffee pie alone. I strongly recommend this place and especially the pie to all those reading this!

Sakley’s is such a cool little cafe! The interiors are like a little wooden cabin. They have The Beatles memorabilia scattered around, and they play great music there too! All the food, especially the desserts are amazing. The last time I went there, we got perfect apple pie. The service is nice too. It’s a little bit cramped, but then most places in the area are.

This place really gives you a feeling that you are sitting in a quaint mountain cafe in the way they have used wood and books for decoration.<br/><br/>I used to come here in the afternoons to read a book while sipping a really big cup of hot coffee.. but now as it has become so famous - I leave the book at home and come here only to have coffee and pasta - or coffee and brownie - both combos are my recommendation!

I have visited them when they were at GK. The ambience was really good and the slow music.. ordered pizza and some burgers along with a couple of drinks... The pizza was really yumm but the burger was a bit dry.

Really beyond my imagination. The staff was very courteous. The songs they played were amazing. the interiors are classical done with wood and they serve you the bill amount on a pine cone . They have bookshelf were one can read about different you terrains . Please give their signature cold coffee a try . Definitely going back for a warm brunch

Huge portions, very healthy and hearty food, great place for a first date or a quiet, peaceful meal. Not a fan of their desserts though, but if you're around, you have to have to try this place out. Also, their walnut feta salad is amazing.

There was not much variety in food but whatever we ate was delicious. If you want to taste the mountain head here. This place has the most amazing salads and soups. Their pastas are to die for. I always order their mushroom soup and in salad veg salad with feta is too good. Their three cheese pasta is absolutely yum head here you won't be disappointed. 5 star music and food.

Had a chance to visit this quiet, little, quaint cafe yesterday - with no pomp whatsoever. I have tried their other branch in GK market multiple times. The place justifies its name when they call themselves a 'mountain cafe'. There are Beatles posters all around, books around mountaineering and Himalayas, wooden furniture and nostalgia-driven music. You can sit at the table adjacent to the large mirror window and sip your beverage while looking at the beautiful greens outside. The veg fries and red sauce pasta were okish. Amount of cheese in fries could have been lesser. Pasta sauce could have been thicker with better seasoning. Hot chocolate and lemon ginger honey tea were perfect.<br/><br/>I give it to them on their customer service. A big shout-out to Bharat (one of their stewards) who was courteous and cared to take our written feedback. Yes the burgers here do have a supreme class, They are tasty and Fresh.<br/>You’ll feel the taste as soon as you dig in. <br/>I tried the Rocky Mountain chicken burger. <br/><br/>I also tried Grilled fish in Lemon butter sauce, but that didn’t turned out well.<br/>Side dishes (Salad & Mashed Potato) served along fish didn’t went along with it. <br/>It had very less flavour as well which can be improved. <br/>I’ll suggest them to make something like they have in Lord of the Drinks (Read out my review for them - <br/>https://zoma.to/zorder/review/40575544

The ambience is amazing. Although I like their outlet in GK more. Pastas are quite amazing. And you get the whole hill side mountain feel even in the hustle bustle of Galleria. Ideal for cozy candle light spots..Will definitely recommend this one.

The famous Nainital cafe is located at DLF Galleria market in Gurgaon. <br/>It’s a cute little space with comfortable seating. <br/>The food is amazing with wonderful desert and drinks options . <br/>The truffle pastry is a must try! <br/>It’s a perfect location to sip on coke hot beverage and read your favourite novel.

I have been visiting Sakley’s for close to a decade now (I think) and they have never let me down. A cafe which combines the nostalgia of the school canteen with quality food and generous helpings. They have had consistent quality for the past decade with their steaks, sizzlers and burgers not to forget the eclairs which are creamy and crisp as they should be. <br/>

The staff is very helpful polite. The chicken sizzler and grilled fish is amazing. The place is small but very well designed with lovely 🎶 . Keep it up all the best 😊👍

Sakleys is a nice and cosy place located on the first floor of Galleria Market. Just about 5 tables. Its got Dim lights and soft music playing. Went there for dinner and loved my experience with the food . <br/><br/>The only problem is that we saw a cockroach on our table . It crawled up from the side. The server had apologised and mentioned that the wooden slab on the wall was having some kind of problem and attracting it . I'l still keep my rating to a 4 because i genuinely enjoyed the pasta.<br/><br/>Grey Willow Pasta - A mixture of Fusilli and Penne , Mix Sauce Pasta. The pasta was Al Dante. thats the best part. It was nice and creamy still had some tomato flavor. Enough quantity of chicken . Overall loved the dish.<br/><br/>Chicken steak in Pepper Sauce - Well , this was average. While the chicken was nice and juicy.. the pepper sauce didn't do justice. I had definitely had better .<br/><br/>The cost is an average 500 per dish . A little .. just a little steep maybe .

So this is the 3rd Sakley's I have been to after the one in Nainital and in GK, New Delhi and i must say this place looks small and diminutive but the food is soooo good that I wish had got married here...yes there are only 4-5 tables so better make sure you reach there early. I have eaten pizzas in more places than I would care to admit and i can unhesitatingly say that the veg delight pizza here  was the best ever, the thin crust was amazing and the veggie were the freshest i have ever tasted.. The cottage cheese sizzler was also out of this world and so was all the food and drinks we ordered . I also didn't know that french fries could taste so good, it was a very different and non-fried ( really ! ) taste and I suggest that is the first thing you order there...its a small cozy place with very intimate ambience and the perfect place for a quiet evening....

Pleasantly surprised to know that Gurgaon has such an awesome cafe, a hidden gem, in DLF Galleria.<br/>Everything about this place is just right: food, music, ambience and the mountain vibes.<br/>We had Fish n Chips, Baked Red Sauce pasta, and Chocolate Caramel Shake.<br/>All three were perfect. Should have skipped the shake, as it was so heavy and yum, that I finished it and then couldn't finish the food. 😋<br/>But, if your appetite/ callorie conscience allows, then go for it.<br/>One of the best Cafe's in NCR. This is one of my favourite places in Gurgaon. I am a big time Italian cuisine fan. I always have wandered to places where they can serve me authentic italian with that very taste I need. So, I tried this place for the love I have for Italian. <br/>Ambience was bang on. The outlet is little small. Some people may find it congested but the aura is amazing. They play country music mostly and the playlist is really amazing.<br/>We ordered Baked Whte Sauce Pasta, which was the best I had in Gurgaon so far. The rich creamy taste was to die for. <br/>Also, Jenny’s cottage Mushroom soup was really good. It’s perfect for romantic dates.

Here I am on a pleasant Saturday afternoon, with the Beatles and the mountain stories. A rocky mountain chicken burger with mango lemon ice tea added to my delight. A cozy café with a great menu and even better food. The music and vibe here is amazing and our waiter for the day, Bharat, was absolutely lovely.

I loved their seating and their sizzlers. The place is small but great for those cosy lunches. We ordered chicken and lamb sizzlers and every bite of it is worth a try. I guess their lamb sizzlers a a notch above the chicken version. This outlet has small seating so don’t plan a visit if you are a group above 8.<br/><br/>Hog on!

Love the ambience of this little cafe . Plays classics by the likes of Beatles and John Denver .. I love their sizzlers and I have never ordered beyond that in my umpteen trips to Sakleys.. I'm sure they are all as delicious as the sizzler

This is one place that I have frequented and has become my cozy little corner. If you are a person who fancies a big open space with high expectations and definitions for ambience then turn around and never come back because this place is a tiny space with a big heart that you won’t understand. The food is great, the shakes are divine and I just can’t wait to be back here again. Ohh and did I mention the music and the dim lighting with little candles on the table~ Perfect!

We had a marghertta pizza and a cottage cheese sizzler. Now, I'm not a big sizzler fan but their food was really good. The Sizzler was just a bit on the dry side, a little more of sauce would've made it perfect.<br/><br/>There brownie with ice cream was fabulous and the star dish I would say.<br/><br/>They can work on their drinks. Coffee although was nice but the lemonade was not even near to fine.

Staff are very friendly. Food was very average. The chicken sandwich was just ok. We ordered nachos, which was basically made by the restaurant, but a random.dollop of cheese on it, making the nachos damp. You could totally avoid this dish. Also, pricing is high for the place.<br/>

Good food, good quantity... Excellent amd cooperative service... Satisfied with the experience.. a lil pricey.. good interior and I love the place. Must try the club sandwiches and coffee. Good mixed sauce pasta.

Finally visited this little cafe at galleria, as it had been on my list for a long time. I loved the cozy vibe of this place plus their playlist is simply amazing! I ordered their signature cold coffee, and I must say, this place serves one of the best cold coffee! Thick, creamy and strong; if you are a coffee lover just like me, you have to visit Sakley's especially for their cold coffee! <br/><br/>I also ordered their white sauce pasta, which was served in a big bowl with two pieces of garlic bread. Combination of penne and fusilli served with lots of veggies and chicken chunks, I loved the creamy and filling pasta, also the garlic breads were toasted perfectly! <br/><br/>My first experience at this place was amazing and I recommend Sakley's to everybody.
