Review Punjab Grill Tappa - Gurugram (Gurgaon)

Located in cyber hub, this place offers one of the best North Indian food to enjoy with your colleagues, friends and family. Even on a Monday afternoon, the place was packed with food lovers enjoy their respective meals. The service is very fast and the staff is polite. We took half an hour in totality from ordering food to eating and leaving the restaurant and with fast service there was top notch quality on offer as well. The restaurant manager was walking up to all the tables to ensure that guests are enjoy their food and to take live feedback from them as well. All in all a great experience and if you are around the area and looking for good North Indian meal, do visit this place as they also have good bar/drinks options.

We had a great dinner time here. We were on a double couple date to cyberhub and after trying out other fancy dishes, we wanted something with the Indian spice. And this was the place to go. We had Mutton Kebab, Chicken Curry. It was really tasty. We also tried their palak papri chaat. It had a unique flavour and was tasty. The prices were on the higher side for the quantity but that's what you get in places like this. The staff was well behaved. Also, you can use dineout subscription too.

We visited Punjab Grill at Cyber Hub, Gurgaon, and had a mixed experience. The ambiance was pleasant, offering a welcoming vibe for a delightful meal. The standout dishes were the Aloo Pyaaz Kulcha and Dal Makhni, which were absolutely scrumptious! The kulcha, paired with white makhan, was a delightful blend of flavors, complemented perfectly by the tangy tomato chutney. The Dal Makhni was a definite winner, bursting with rich and delicious flavors that left us wanting more. However, some of the other dishes like Dal Tadka, Paneer Lababdar, and Garlic Naan fell slightly short of expectations. While they were decent, also the flavors were good but didn't leave a lasting impression. The service was average; the staff was okay, but not particularly outstanding or attentive. It's a good spot for certain specialties, but perhaps not everything hits the mark. 🍽️🥘👍

We went to punjab grill after ages. Absolutely awesome food. A little expensive as compared with a few others but once in a while it's ok. Good service . The non veg kebab platter ...the mutton ribs were amazing . Dal was fab.... Lal maans dint taste like lal maans should but it was yum.

Great experience for the first time, food was delicious and Service was quick. Only thing missing was draught beer which was mentioned in menu but wasn't available. Pay using Zomato Gold and get discount on bill :) 1 suggestion, Please don't take washroom side corner seat, there was AC ducting leakage problem which I reported to available staff.

A place for good food. We were there for the office Team Lunch. Food was really tasty. For starters, we had a chicken platter : tasty specially the tandoori chicken and afgani chicken Main course, chicken lababdar and roti : i was full by then but still we had to finish. It was tasty. In dessert, Rasmalai and gulab jamun: Rasmalai was so tasty, i thought not to have as i was so full. But I can't stop myself after a tiny bit of both. They have a whole bar too! Must visit.

Visited the cyber hub outlet, not that impressive.<br/>Since Punjab grill is a brand resto chain i was expecting similar rich taste in all its outlets , however left dissappointed.<br/>We ordered dahe ke kabab, the texture of hung curd was nice, a smoky aroma was there but it lacks the crispiness in the outer which actually is the required combination to soft creamy filling. Bhatti da murg was good, nice color, and amazing taste. The garlic naan was also not that satisfactory and was disappointed in murg masala too. It wasnt nice as expectation and does not really feels like punjab grill chicken.<br/>

I visited this place after reading reviews. Ut genuinely my experience was not good. We ordered kadhai paneer which is supposed not be sweet. But it was sweet. On the other hands, their bread(chapati) is of 95 rs per bread which is as hard as a wood. <br/>I personally found this restuarant over pricy with not so good taste. A big no to the punjab grill

I heard a lot of positive comments on punjabi grill tappa but sadly my experience was worst . Me and mother visited , ordered dal makhni and paneer . Firstly they came up with yellow vali daal I mean really??? Instead of dal makhni they gave us yellow daal chalo it's ok galti ho gye then they exchanged the yellow dal with Dal makhni . But there is very pingent smell , my mother said beta ye toh khrab hai I told them to take away this from table and let us eat only paneer but tbh we won't Able to analyse paneer even after that smell , later I ask for the bill and told waiter ke bhaiya dal khrb hai kya ho gya kehta madam voh shi thi apka taste ni acha 🙄 I mean seriously? Is this the behaviour mei khana khane aye hu bht jgh se khaya hai I know dal kon c thk hoti kon c khrb chlo meine glt bola so my mom??? I mean atleast don't lie if things are not going well . Acha unke pass raita bhi available nai fr hai kya available? Please work on it !

Dinning on 21st Aug thought of a good brand but after having dinner my thoughts totally changed. Will never visit the restaurant again because the quality and taste of the food is bad and not at all authentic. <br/>

OK so I just had my dinner with them and had my fortune to meet one of the worst server of my life "ABHISHEK". food is amazing... Be it taste or presentation i must say you will love it. Specially their mutton Kulcha is some thing I'd like to try again. But is it is your service standard then sorry we won't be visiting. My water glass was empty for 17mins.and no one was there to refill it.. Why? As we've opted for regular water?<br/>And requesting you bar guy to learn how to make mojito as well as how to perfectly muddle mint. First it was to sour that lemon will feel shy in front of it. Then upon requesting they made a minted "chaasni". So sweet that you won't require any dessert. Green apple mojito with any taste hint of green apple. Sorry to say but in the name of service what you are serving Mr. Abhishek its "disaster." thank you.

The restaurant has an utterly confused ambience with elements of a night club, cafe and an Indian restaurant put through a blender with a resultant look of an antique shop with an identity crisis. Its confusing setting notwithstanding, the the service is decent, but the food is below average. The dahi ke kebab, for instance, was dry and bland even though the plating was meticulous. The portions are very generous, so no complaints about the price.<br/><br/>If you happen to bring up your Dineout membership, you'll be met with a stiff lipped manager who rudely informs you that they do not accept it unless they are informed at the time of placing the order.

Punjab Grill Tappa is a classy fine dining place serving some exclusive preparations.<br/><br/>The menu offers street food, appetizers, some house specialties along with Royal preparations.<br/><br/>The variety is phenomenal and Punjabi cuisine lovers will be spoilt for choices.<br/><br/>Over a weekend brunch with friends we started with a glass of "Meethi lassi" with appetizers Mutton boti kebab, Tawa fish fry, and their specialty chicken. Tawa fish has fillets of fish marinated and Tawa fried with masala which makes it super tasty and finger-licking. The chicken lived up to the specialty level and mutton boti was average. The Mains were Mutton Nihari and murgh with assorted bread. Among bread, Naan is highly recommended. The dessert included Kesar Shahi Tukda and Gajar halwa. Needless to say, both were exceptional. The interiors are rustic and make you feel as if you are sitting in some Royal of Punjab region. <br/>This place is indeed a recommended affair for Punjabi food lovers.

This place is especially made for the people who love North Indian food and have both varieties of veg and non-veg. I had kadhai paneer which was very flavourful and good. Then I had ambarsari malai masala parantha which was served with dal makhni and tomato murabba dips. The parantha was loaded with a lots of malai and it was just malai and nothing else. The quantity of dal makhni and tomato murabba was very less but their taste was insanely good. We also ordered a butter naan but it was just one piece. So overall, it was a good experience. I would like to visit there again and taste the other varieties as well.

It was a bad day -, I have been to Punjab grill in past but not had this bad experience . <br/>We ordered dahi ke kabab , paneer roll , changezi, paneer lababdar. Unlike other outlets the portion size was very small .<br/>Changezi was disappointing but chef came and manager were courteous and acknowledged that it wasn’t the traditional Delhi style food . They replaced it with kadai chicken , unfortunately even it was not up to the mark . Paneer was ok but not like the other Punjab grill which we visited in past .<br/><br/>So I feel it was just one bad day .<br/>Staff were really courteous and ambience was great but taste defines everything .

Loved the nonveg preparations here. Chicken tikka was amazing. Also, do try chur-chur naan in main course. It's amazing!!!! Veg preparations were average, dahi ke kabab were utter disaster!! Ambience is good, the service is a bit slow though.

We visited cyber hub on a busy weekend... The place was one of the very few places with seating available. The ambience was good and the staff courteous. The paneer tikka had a fresh approach to it and tasted excellent. The sweet potato starter was the best among all. The main course was like any other punjabi restaurant.

The service was great along with wonderful and charming ambiance... the portions are sufficient for 2 people. Must try the chicken tikka..☺️

The customer service here is great, the food was also very good, my family really liked the gatta curry and I enjoyed the dahi kebab. We ordered some cocktails also, all in all a great experience and a lovely place for a family lunch.

In main course Gucchi is available on demand..<br/><br/>Then we got the my favourite part of the meal that is, yes you got me right.....DESSERT....🍧🍮🍨🥮🍧.......<br/><br/>We got kulfi with Chena roll which comprises of 2 pcs of chena roll & 2 pcs of kulfi both with different flavour.....and another dessert we ordered was Dark Chocolate & Litchi Fudge which was beautifully presented and getting melt in the mouth......<br/><br/>Overall good experience we had......😀👍

Been here twice.. <br/><br/>Whenever we feel like eating Indian cuisines, there are very few places that come to my mind and this is one of them..<br/><br/>In starters my fav is their gunpowder prawns.<br/>However we always order - Trio of Chicken tikka - which is a great dish which goes best with beer/whiskey/your drink as “chakhna”!<br/><br/>In large plates I will recommend tandoori lamb shanks (largest shanks I have eaten so far - must try), mutton rogan josh and butter chicken.

We went to punjab grill tappa on weekend for lunch. As we enter their there is bar counter on one side and sitting on another. Though they have sitting in front of bar too which are long wooden chair. Sitting is available outside also which is alao a good option in evening. Ambience is pleasant inside with music ambient in daytime. Had read excellent reviews of the place so we decided to have a small team dinner there. The food is delicious and the presentation is impressive, however, I felt that veg menu can be extended. We went to this place for a laid back Sunday Lunch and the place was packed. Lalit is managing this place to perfection as a seasoned manager. Kudos to him and his team for they serve lip smacking Punjabi food, with just the right kind of innovation. Chef Sanjay was most helpful with his recommendations and the Haleem they serve here is among the best you get in Gurgaon. We also relished the Paneer Cigar Roll thin layers of Cottage Cheese smeared with masala and rolled up to be grilled. Very good preparation. Also would recommend the Avocado And Naan Khatai CheeseCake, a chef speciality. Special mention for Gautam for his excellent service. The right place for gorging on good old Punjabi Food.

Don’t go by the name it also serves mix Asian cuisine with indian way, good interior with choices of your taste bud, <br/>Food I loved the most here is their soya boti taco, which crispy lacha paratha served with choop soya chunks, dahi kebab is perfectly blend of spices going perfect with watermelon margarita and in main course you can definitely try their dal makhni and Palak paneer with multigrain naan.

This is undoubtedly the best place I've been to in Cyberhub. Loved the food. The presentation of every dish was extraordinary. Totally loved all of them.<br/>We ordered two salads and both were too good. Quinoa salad with feta cheese and Avocado chicken salad.<br/>For starters we ordered sev Puri with guacamole topping, paneer cigar roll, chicken tikka trio, old monk soaked lamb boti, jodhpuri chilli poppers andchargrilled mushroom & broccoli. The lamb boti is a must try here it was amazing and so flavourful.<br/>In maincourse we ordered their signature Haleem khow suey. It was extraordinary. Loved it. We tried their chicken changezi with Chur Chur naan. I must say it's the best chicken changezi I've had. We also had chicken stuffed kulcha. It was good.<br/>In desserts we had dark chocolate and litchi fudge, avocado cheesecake and gulab jamun. The avocado cheesecake was very different and delicious.<br/>Overall I loved this place and definitely coming back

Yet another wonderful experience at Tappa! We ordered Dal Makhani, Yellow Dal, and Paneer. The food was delicious as always. But this review is attributed to the amazing service by Mr.Shankar. The place has a great interior.<br/><br/>We ordered chicken starter , portion was great , quality and quality was to its point.<br/><br/>The only thing that didn’t match or was worth it were the mocktails that we ordered. 3 out 4 drinks that we ordered were okay , nothing great or exciting to try out.<br/><br/>Loved the food 😊

It's a great place to eat. Chicken Changezi is very good. I have been here twice and would definitely visit again. <br/>It has a great ambiance and very good service. <br/>I made a mistake of taking mineral water bottle instead of regular water and that added an extra 200 to my cheque. But, after tasting the food I forgot all about the bottle price. <br/>Food will not disappoint you. But, do remember to book your table. Sometimes you might have to wait longer for your table.

I went to this restaurant on Wednesday evening n ordered the following:<br/><br/>Spinach salad with yoghurt -5/5<br/>Peanuts masala<br/>Cocktails - their signature cocktails are nice<br/>Butter chicken 3/5<br/>Ajwain parantha -4/5<br/>Multi grain parantha -3/5. Should be a little more buttery or chewy<br/><br/>Will I come again? Donno for sure<br/>

Had visited last on 19oct’18 on my wife’s birthday. Food quality & ambience is very good. Rates are slightly on higher side. There is a provision for indoor and outdoor sitting. Personally, I always prefer (visited thrice) sitting indoor.

This place is located in dlf cyber city, Gurgaon.. so it is quite easy to find. if we talk about ambience it's good comparing to other restaurants in the same area.<br/><br/>I went there with couple of friends to enjoy my dinner over there... The food was awesome on top of that they serve 2+2 drinks on zomato gold.<br/><br/>In the starters we tried paneer cigar roll and tappa chat were awesome and must try. there daal makhani is something you will crave for after eating once.<br/><br/>Their service is also good so you don't have to wait a lot to enjoy your food. overall this place is worth for money and a must visit.

Our host, sunita verma, was great. She served everything very well and on time. The food was served hot. And was tasty.<br/>I won't say completely delicious, it was between delicious and good.<br/>Overall nice experience.

Must try their Gun powder prawn, tappa chaat, manglore fried chicken tasty and well presented, staff is courtsious specially gloria for suggesting us.

The food was excellent with special emphasis on avocado cheesecake, spinach palak patta chaat. Each and every food item was amazing and worth the visit.<br/>Mr. Kuldeep one of the employee was very courteous.

Good taste of food. As a foreigner I enjoyed very great Indian hospitality by Sunita Verma. Very cozy restaurant and nice place for the dining with your family and fireworks. Definitely will visit again

Went to Tappa for dinner and here is the experience.<br/>Location - Located in Cyber Hub and easy to locate.<br/><br/>Ambience - Ambience was like casual fine dining. The outdoor was nicely maintained too. Music was perfect and cover setup was good.<br/><br/>Service - It was quick, good and comfortable.<br/><br/>Food- We ordered raan, chicken wings and garlic naan. Me not being non veg fan loved the food. Specially the raan. Also loved watermelon drink.<br/><br/>Value for money?<br/>4/5<br/>Recommended?<br/>Yes.

If you are walking right now in cyber hub, thinking to just chuck all options and follow "Punjab" branding... caution, dont. We went for a corporate lunch. Dont know why we ordered buffet. Its technically not a buffet, its like they will get stuff on the table.. Taste was below average, somethings were nice somethings were just stale and uncooked as trash.<br/><br/>The guys servicing us were the particular turn off reasons. May be your respect goes down if you order buffet here :D<br/><br/>Anyway, save your money and try other outlets. They literally pissed all 8 of us Like, what are the odds of that!

Best suited for a workday lunch - more so with team members. We decided to go the traditional way - Tandoori chicken, Naga chilli minced chicken, Butter chicken and Black Daal, and kulfi - yeah, pretty usual stuff. <br/><br/>The Tandoori chicken was juicy, tender and good. The Naga chilli chicken was exceptional and not as spicy as you would think - I have a big jar of roasted Naga chilies at home. The other stuff was regular fare. Kulfi could have been better. <br/><br/>Staff was polite but needs some training. Overall, usual stuff, good for a quick bite.
