Review Pepper Pot - The Terrace Cafe Sector 56, Gurgaon - Gurugram (Gurgaon)

One of the best cafes I visited recently with amazing vibes and of course food. Though we just had coffee, tea and potato wedges. Kinda one of the best coffee and wedges I had here. Definitely visiting again. The best part is they also have a balcony seating with a good view of the sky and small skyscrapers.

Food is ok.. No lift you have to go top floor by stairs... ambience is good....AC working fine.. outdoor sitting also available... Service could be better by timely order fulfillment... Sitting is comfortable...

We had north indian food and it was amazing. It was really delicious. Quality of food is also satisfied. Ambience is good. Only one thing to mention over here... Its on second floor and you have to use stairs as there is no lift.

Amazing place with indoor and balcony seating option. This place gives a cozy feeling. Balcony full with fairy lights decoration is amazing place if you are looking for quite and comfortable place with a view. We ordered Alfredo white sauce pasta and tandoori soya chaap. Both were good. Staff is very friendly and music choices is also decent and not loud. This place serves a decent cold coffee if you are looking for place for a coffee date.

Also, one of the best and affordable restaurants in Gurugram. The food is very delicious. The ceiling is made of glass and therefore, sky is visible and looks amazing. Also, their outdoor sitting is AWESOME!! Really a good place for parties, dates or even to hangout with friends. In the near future, this place will rock. Ordered Bombay Anda Pav which is exceptionally good and a very different dish, Oreo and Nutella Shakes- One of the best Oreo shakes we ever had tho Nutella was pretty normal but tasty, Wai Wai Bhel which was really good and the quantity was amazing too, Crispy Corn Pepper- Crispy, fresh and delicious sautéed with vegetables, Honey chilly potatoes- Crispy but soft and definitely tasty, White Sauce Pasta- Pasta at some places is really bad tho they make a really good one. These dishes totally made our day. BOMBAY ANDA PAV IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

A cute n cosy cafe in Gurgaon.The ambience is flamboyant , very well lit having lovely indoor n outdoor sitting . The mini artectafts, planters, beautiful chairs, lively music gives this place a cool atmosphere. Yesterday went there after my friends recommendation and tried some veg food : MUSHROOM TIKKA:It had achari flavour with veggies, amazing in taste. PPC VEG SIZZLER:Their speciality having two pieces of veg momos, spring roll, chinese noodles with a bowl of hongkong style veg gravy. Awesome in taste. In drinks I tried their watermelon cooler n nutella shake... Very refreshing. After that I ordered Nutella waffle and was mesmerized with its taste. It was so scrumptious, soft n yummy..the taste lingered on my mouth yet. (mmuuuust tryyyy) Overall a nice experience.

Pepper pot is one of the most beautiful restaurant we have been. We went there for lunch and it was a wonderful experience. The ambience was very inviting and good. The food was excellent. We had pasta , virgin mojito , omlette and brown bread🍞, Dal makhani , paneer lababdaar , butter naan. It was a delicious delictable treat to satiate hunger . Sure to visit again soon .

The place was lit and the ambience was good. Also I visited in th month of September 2021. I booked the whole balcony just for the view. The view and the vibe was so good up there. The taste of all the items I ordered were amazing and the service was quick along with a courteous staff. Must visit atleast once!

Absolutely amazing food . We ordered Indian dal makhani and paneer with naan and roti . Yeh service is quick and hygienic place . The place has both indoor and outdoor seating . Just the downside is that the restaurant is on 2 nd floor with no lift so keep that in mind

This place is heaven between the world. Simple yet sophisticated. It feels like a dream terrace cafe anyone could dream to have in their mansion. Its so positive and vibrant but calm and clean at the same time. Its a must for conversation cavemen (you can literally open your heart sitting n sipping anything here). The owner is a really sweet lady who knows all principles of excellent customer service. The quality of food, the on table service and the melting mouth extensive menu is at par with the industry class. Caramel waffle, regular desi chai and the chicken maggi is a must try but no matter what you order, the ambiance and the energy of this place is enough to make your winter evenings blissful.

Nice, homely cafe with good quantity and quality of food. Service is on a slow side but the food that arrives is worth the wait. The owner takes best care and notes down any concern or requirement you have and looks after the preparations. Love how she talks around with the guests. Kudos!

I tried the dal makhani and kadhai paneer and the quantity was definitely more than satisfactory. <br/><br/>Would highly recommend pepper pot !

It's a small and cosy cafe in sector 56. I really liked the masala coke with chicken tandoori momo and veg. sizzlers. Service is extremely fast and staff is warm. I really liked the ambience of the place. Must visit.

Please extend ur closing time. Even if that’s not possible, you go offline at 9pm or sometimes even before. Going offline to accept orders is not good.

My visit to Pepper Pot- the Terrace Cafe in Gurgaon was so good as I enjoyed their chinese cuisine and the prices were so affordable. They also serve a nice variety of north indian food, eggs and italian options.<br/><br/>I tried their famous Manchow Soup and Garden fresh sandwich which was fresh and we'll flavoured. We loved having the fries that came with it too. Even their menu was pretty interesting. I had chilli chicken dry from here as a starter too. The spice levels were well balanced and chicken was fresh.<br/><br/>We ended the day with nutella punch waffles and was the perfect dessert.<br/><br/>I love the ambience at this place and the terrace seating. First of all, there's no lift and you have to climb all the way to reach here. The ambience is below average, with seating arrangements indoors as well as out in open air. The service is fast though!! Coming to food, we tried white sauce pasta, chilli chicken dry, chicken sizzler, Nutella shake, Oreo shake, orange mojito, Nutella waffle and chocolate waffle here. The sizzler was a disaster and so were the waffles and mojito. Loved the pasta and shakes though!

This is my 3rd visit to this place. We ordered Panner Tikka Sandwich, Nutella Waffle and Red sauce Pasta. The food tasted good and the ambience was soothing!

It is one of the few places in Gurgaon where you can sit back, relax and enjoy the season with the perfect view from their half terrace floor. <br/>The places offers the most humble and peaceful environment with amazing food and shakes, and all within the affordable price range.<br/><br/>When visiting here, do order the Oreo / coffee milk shake- they aren't soo think shake but lets you enjoy the goodness of sweet shake and chocolate flowing through.<br/><br/>Along with the same, one can surely enjoy the Chili Paneer- these are not typically prepared small chunks of paneer fried and tossed with chili, but a perfect blend of spice and adequate vegetables , also made with the most soft paneer.<br/><br/>They do have chef who knows food isn't just about flavors but presentation, And offers the most amazing Nachos .<br/><br/>And with no exception to the mouth watering white sauce pasta, the place is for sure going to be at the top.

Your food is very hygienic. Delivered within promised time. But you didn't provide tandoori sauce for the masala chaap. Also the fried rice were spicy.

A delivery boy was a good person. Running with a bicycle, he delivers food before time. I think tomato should help him. Even he is saving our environment by pollution.

Okay, so I went to this place and ordered some takeout. The food was average at best, I liked the springroll and the hakka noodles wasn't too bad. However, the pasta was really bland and lacked flavor, I couldn't finish it.

This place once used to serve great food. I have been a regular customer and ordered take out. But when i ordered yesterday, i was a horrible experience. I had guests over at home and we were happily waiting for a tasty meal as usual. But when the food arrived and we ate it, it was absolutely aweful. I will give a few details of what all went wrong:<br/><br/>1. The delivery boy came to my door and said that the manchurian pack had opened and was leaking. In my pictures below you can clearly see how much the manchurian had leaked and soaked in the carry bag. This was disappointing but I still accepted the pre paid food.<br/>2. Their spring rolls used to be amazing, i used to call them best in town but yesterday they were stale, there was a whitish layer on top of each roll bite and everything was in a broken and a mashed state. See the condition in which the rolls were delivered to me in the pictures below.<br/>3. Lastly the fried rice and manchurian had no taste. They were bland, soggy and had no flavour. The rice had huge chucks of egg in them. I had ordered egg fried rice but the egg pieces should have been uniformly spread, there were 3 huge pieces of egg and thats it. They used to have very flavorful chinese main dishes. This was very disappointing.<br/><br/>Looks like they changed the chef, reduced quality of food and even compromising on packaging now. Alas, that this place once serving great food has even fallen prey of food industry commercialization and compromising on taste, quality and customer satisfaction!<br/><br/>Updating my review as I was approached by the pepperpot management and was given the same meal complementary. This time the spring rolls, rice and manchurian all tasted good. Though it felt like the original taste was slightly missing but they did a good job with the food quality, taste and packaging. Overall, I was happy. Hopefully they keep up the quality and i dont have to face similar issue again.

This has to be the worst biryani I have ever had. I would like to ask the owner to have a plate of muradabadi biryani from khan chicken corner sector 57. It's on zomato. It costs about 200 for a kg. You would know what I mean. I expected a better experience from you guys. Anyway all the best.

Nice n calm place to sit n talk. I went on a weekday n could chit chat with my friend in good atmosphere. The vibe of the place is very nice. Must go if you are finding a place to talk n eat n talk. 🤗

The veg manchurian dry was hard and didnt taste good and the vegetables in hot garlic sauce was also not upto the mark, the sauce was little watery.

The ambience is great. The challenge is that when you have a covered part then the ACs should be shut or if they are once the customer has come then one should start the AC proactively.<br/><br/>Secondly, I tried a Kadai Paneer and it just had a onion and tomoto mix gravey. This wasn't upto the mark. The service was too slow. We had to wait for 10 minutes to be informed that there is no finger bowl or wet tissue considering you are serving Indian food. The bill was generated at it's pace. I think there is a lot of gaps in service that can really be filled.

We visited the place recently. Food quality is good, staff is courteous. We ordered Momos,soup, chicken fried rice and schezwan chicken. Momos and soup were awesome. Schezwan chicken could have been better. Overall very nice experience.

Average food. We went on a weekday evening and the air-conditioning was off on a hot Friday summer evening. Even after they switched it on it will still extremely hot and stuffy for the next 40 odd minutes we sat there. Also the fact that it's on the 2nd floor with no lift makes it all the more important to have proper ventilation and air-conditioning in a place like gurgaon

Worst place. Very bad customer experience. The staff was very rude. Food wasn't good as well. Worst cafe around the place. Went on basis on rating. Bad food, worse people. Ordered Nachos and chicken nuggets on ZOMATO gold with some tea/coffee. I mean how difficult is it to say that you don't have an item. We tasted some and asked for the remainder "nuggets" to be packed for takeaway, the staff declined with a straight face, and started shoving restaurant rules and regulations in our face, that how packing the remaining food is at their discretion. After 15 minutes of continuous haggling they let us pack it ourselves<br/><br/>Last part, we told that we would pay through dineout pay, they flatly declined, WTF!!, Why do you list the place on platforms then.<br/><br/>In short, you would get wrong food, rude staff, practically empty establishment, and cheating people. Zomato gold is really a privilege for the people who owns it. I am one of them. Whenever is a weekend I put a filter and search all nearby food outlets at my vicinity. I got to explore this one terrace cafe which has a very cute sober and soft ambience. This is a crowded place and you might need to wait for your table. I ordered peri peri fries and spring rolls. The fries was perfect and love the tango chutney served with the rolls. <br/>Food- 5/5<br/>Ambience- 5/5<br/>Service- 4/5 May be it was full the order was delayed.

Encouraged by some zomato offers as well as the quirky advertising of the outlet ( the one which says eat here or else you and the owner would starve), I decided to order chicken Manchurian with extra chicken.<br/>Portion looked decent . They have a unique take on the Manchurian, terrible to taste and with no other backup I was stuck with it.<br/>With such pricing and quality of food I think it's better to starve than consume.

Food was very tasty. Due to preparation I ordered the Honey Chilli Potato twice.<br/><br/>Deducting 1 star due to the waiter misguided us that in our restaurant we don't have 1+1 on zomato gold, we have 3 + 1 offer only. When I showed the clauses then also he was arguing. After sometime he admitted that he is new and don't know about the terms and conditions.<br/><br/>So, overall it's a great place and will be in my list for dinner too.<br/><br/>

All my experiences with this place have been amazing. Impressive ambiance, beautifully done interiors and nice inside and outside seating options make this spot a good option to hangout with friends. Much recommended :)

I happened to discover this place by chance and admit that even though it had impressive ratings, I had my own doubts.<br/>Oh boy, except for the long wait to get there...We needed to climb up those never ending stairs - everything was just perfect.<br/>The ambience, the typical cafe feeling reminding me those cool college days who doesn't love them, the variety of items they had... All of it just amazing. We ended up ordering spring rolls, a burger for the kid, paneer tikka and Roti's.<br/>The Paneer veggie easily took the cake away in taste although all of it were equally good. Forgot to add, the portion size impressed me like anything!<br/>I am sure I would be going in many more times to this place and will recommend this one highly.<br/><br/>Please keep up the good work. Kudos to you guys, and yes those pool tables at your place - they are so lucrative to try a hand at!<br/><br/>Thank you for the great place, awesome service and fantastic food. Beautiful place to spend an evening with your partner. The food is definitely good there and the hospitality is top notch. The manager/owner has a very cool attitude and very concerned about her customer's comfort and always makes sure that everyone is having a great time. All in all an evening well spent there.

Good place to hangout with friends. We tried maggi and some other snacks and the taste and quality of food was good. Service was good too. There was construction work going on next this cafe which was annoying. Rest everything was good.

Overall average experience with the ambience and the food. Heard a lot from my friends about this terrace joint in sector 56 and got to visit the same with some of my office colleagues and ordered pasta and momos but the experience did not went well as it was speculated. Staff was courteous though but the ordered got delayed may be due to the weather condition that may have instigated constraints operationally. Anticipate to have better experience next time.

I would recommend the sandwiches from this place. Really love the place for its food and ambience. This place also has pool which makes it an ideal place to hang out with friends. Quite an economical place to have an evening snack or a course meal.

Pepper pot was a chance discovery we decided to go with the kids as it’s near their gymnastics class..the 3 flights of stairs after class seemed a daunting task but once we got there it was worth it. The place doesn’t have air conditioning so can’t even imagine how it will be in the summers but as off now the terrace was ok with the fans and we sat right there.<br/>The service was quick and the food came in quick except the waffle which took a while!<br/>The honey chilli potatoes were absolutely yummy; very big and fat potato fingers yet so crispy and with the right balance of honey & chilli😊 the addition of capsicum and onion made it even yummier.<br/>The portion sizes of all dishes were more than sufficient.<br/>The manchow soup was passable with the veggies being cut a little too big for kids.<br/>The chicken malai tikka was the least tasty of them all - the chicken was a bit chewy and the malai seemed like it was added as an after-thought - so seemed out of place.<br/>The butter chicken and butter naan were very tasty - my niece ate 1 whole naan😊<br/>We ended the dinner with the Nutella punch waffle which was very good - we asked for extra ice cream and weren’t charged for it - but I feel the waffle could have been a little less fluffier and more crispy! But sinful nonetheless😍

I've been to this place very often, no doubt food is amazing but managing staff is little slow but they are very friendly to their customers, group of youths can chill, have fun always. They should offer some activities before serving the food. As it is near to my place, it is very good place to chill.

Guys please update on zomato the days when u guys are hosting parties.. So that other people should nor waste their time coming to the place.. It is a normal courtesy.. I hope u guys follow that

If you want to try some north , Italian dishes then papper pot is the best option....here you can get awesome dish which will satisfy you....all dish are awesome. Ambience is good ...nice place

I placed order for pasta and it was not upto the mark. It didn't have the salt. It could have been better as I have earlier placed quite some orders from here. Waste of money I would say.

Have been regularly going to the place. Used to serve good food, great view and some pretty awesome music. But off late have been quite disappointed with the food quality adding up with constant hullabaloo of children Birthday parties. Giving one star so owner can see and re-align their strategies to run a once-used-to-be brilliant cafes.

I ordered chilly Patato and watermelon juice. I loved both the food items they were worth spending the money. The most important part tht I loved was the ambience . A spacious restaurant with polite and helpful staff !!

A cute n cosy cafe in Gurgaon.The ambience is flamboyant , very well lit having lovely indoor n outdoor sitting . The mini artectafts, planters, beautiful chairs, lively music gives this place a cool atmosphere.<br/><br/>Yesterday went there after my friends recommendation and tried some veg food :<br/><br/>MUSHROOM TIKKA:It had achari flavour with veggies, amazing in taste.<br/><br/>PPC VEG SIZZLER:Their speciality having two pieces of veg momos, spring roll, chinese noodles with a bowl of hongkong style veg gravy. I was on gurgaon office trip in last week and during the hunt for good food and place where I can use my laptop with calm and have great I found Pepper Pot Terrace Cafe in Sector 56 neighborhood market. Situated on the top floor and tagged as Terrace cafe Pepper pot is divided in two parts with terrace is on the outside area and dine in with spare area for gangs and set of chair tables for smaller / couple groups.<br/><br/>I choose the Terrace area and was quickly served with Watermelon Mojito to tackle my thirst cause reaching to third floor is challenging for me.<br/><br/>After some time I was served with Egg Tikka Masala with Buns, which I found a unique food for me, being the Egg masala was having boiled Egg with thick gravy. It also has the sliced boiled egg which makes its yum and easy to have with the buttered crispy buns.<br/><br/>After spending the time on Laptop I had the Chocolate Shake with Tandoori Momos along with Garden Fresh Sandwich. The bread in sandwich was fresh and soft, the veggies in the sandwich were fresh with optimum level of salt and spices. <br/><br/>At last we had Virgin Mojito with Chicken Lolipop. Mojito was served without the ice and was cool in taste.<br/><br/>Chicken Lollipop was served with some green veggies and the last of the each chicken pieces was covered with foil which makes easier to carry in hand. A few days back, while seeking for a decent place to sit & have deep conversations with one of my friends, I came across this beautifully lit cafe tucked away from the bustles of the city. This charming cafe not only offers great ambiance but also the food is delectable enough to keep you drooling. It's a terrace cafe which has both indoor & outdoor sitting area, which also makes it a great place to host parties. I went through the menu & they suggested me to try out their Chinese cuisine & one of their newly introduced variants of momos. In no time, I was served with the lip-smacking plate of momos which cannot be missed, if you're planning to go there. Totally worth it! And then I was served with Chilly Chicken and Veg. Noodles - which was perfect in taste, aroma & appearance! Couldn't find anything which wasn't on point. I also had their adrak chai which was totally delightful.<br/>I would definitely recommend people to visit this hidden gem & spend some leisurely time here with your bae or with your squad!<br/><br/>Keep up the good work guys! 😃

This is my regular cafe to chill with my friends.<br/><br/><br/>Starting from the cafe view , ambience to even a cup of tea everything is so good and perfect.<br/><br/>My fav is Chinese in which I love their noodles , they have got a lot variety of noodles, and my favourite is Singapuri.<br/><br/>Do try their momos as well, They are love.<br/><br/><br/><br/>This is the best place if you are planning for a get together or a party.

Haven't had worst Dal Makhni ever... It was not dal Makhni but instead "Cream Makhni"... Soo full of cream that it looked totally white and no tastes of lentils at all.. Wouldn't Recommend at all..!!

i am a little surprised at the rating. i also used to like the place thats why thot to order online today and am extremely disappointed.pasta was overly cooked all broken...it came without any seasonings. it just dnt taste like pasta. and i have been trying to reach the cafe but no response. if this is how it works for online deliveries, its pathetic. one should just stop ordering.

Something is definitely going wrong here. Have been here quite a few times, wasn't disappointed. But this time I couldn't even justify finishing the food. First off, the quantity is not even half of what it was at some point. I couldn't justify paying 260 bucks for 7 tiny pieces of soy in a place like this. Even then, I gave it a shot. The soy was terribly undercooked, to the point that I couldn't even break it with a fork, clearly visible in the pictures. <br/><br/>Definitely wouldn't come here again. This friendly neighborhood place is turning into an overpriced placed with terrible food.

Been there quite many times and really like the vibe that this place carries. There are things that deserve a mention in this review like their wai wai noodles, and spring rolls. Besides that, the place gives a really nice feel of a hangout corner and is totally insta worthy. The prices are ok and serving size is good enough for two people.
