India is a land of diversity, which is well portrayed in its culture, colour and last but not the least cuisine. It has a wide spectrum of food. When mind and mood think about some royal taste. I have been in the spree of searching aromatic yet subtle Biryani in NCR.

This is for all non vegetarian lovers. "If you're a motton lover then this is the place for you".

Biryani & Qorma is located right on the front side of baani square.

I have never had such an electric and aromatic flavors which will certainly woo your taste and made my order consecutively.

As me and my friends started with freshly made chaach or butter milk which refreshing. The mutton and vegetable Biryani was just awesome. Not to forget the Khameeri Roti. The taste which will never fade.

The accompanying chutney & onion rings added to the experience.

On the whole on my experience was unexpectedly amazing. I found ot value for money for there prepation.

Guys if you are in and around this place make sure you drop by or order. They have something really tasty.

There was a hair in the chicken gravy. Besides the preparation was extremely oily and spicy despite having given specific instructions. Will never order from this place again.

Ordering the chef special biryani? Think again

I happened to order 1 kg Chicken Biryani, more than I needed because it would get me a 25 per cent discount, but it was barely enough for two - discounting the unflavoured rice leftovers.

The dish is a sum total of coloured rice soaked in crazy amounts of oil and some chicken to call it biryani. It's - hands down - one of the worst biryanis I have had in my adult life. And I eat the dish very frequently.

Two stars because I did not sleep on an empty stomach, albeit just unhappy.

Vibha Gadiyar
Good food.. Very courteous staff..good ambience.. But as promised no 25% discount was given dine in. Must call n confirm before going. After negotiating got a 15% discount.

Super pathetic kababs ... dont ever try their mutton / chicken kababs its just like rubber... quality of this place has come down drastically .....they charge bomb and give u one of the most pathetic kababs.... sorry guys will never order again.
Good food but oil content needs to be reduced drastically.

I was in the neighborhood and stopped by just randomly for lunch and was blown away by the flavour and freshness of everything!

Seriously, I wasn't expecting this flavour and am really stoked to return. Also, the food was served piping hot which is a major plus for me. And the prices were incredibly reasonable.
I am going to be a regular now.

Biryani and qorma express is a delivery cum cafe restaurant that serves authentic north indian food and scrumptious biryanis ! I opted for the delivery and ordered-
•paneer tikka
•dal makhni
•tandoori vegetables
•khameeri roti
•veg biryani !!
The food is amazing ! Dal makhni and tandoori vegetables were a delight to have . Dal was rich and creamy ! Paneer tikka was perfectly marinated and super soft ! Just the way it should be ! Biryani was the highlight , it was a flavour coma with well balanced spices , appropriate amount of veggies and great textured rice !! Khameeri roti was very filling and overall the experience was really good !! The packaging is tight and safe and timing is very convenient!! So do order from this place !

What a pathetic experience! I had to go by the name of this restaurant (Biryani & Qorma express), so I ordered a chicken qorma (half). I have had many chicken qorma’s till date but this was the most pathetic among all! What I paid was ₹300+ for a piece of small leg and two bite size pieces of chicken! It was totally tasteless and I was definitely misled by the reviews.
Not going to order from here again!
Funny part is the packaging! Road side dhaba’s pack the food in a much better manner, ordered from Zomato but the tapes used were of Foodpanda!
Food Scenes
Even though the name is Biryani & Qorma the food scenes here go beyond the moniker and includes some great tasting dishes.

The Paneer Tikka half plate has 4 pieces of well marinated cottage cheese.

The Chicken Tikka is very spiced up and they serve generous amounts of salad with it.

The keema kaleji is a house speciality. Try it with their Pudina Paranthas and you would be pleased by your choice.

The chicken biryani is not Hyderabadi but your routine chicken biryani with thoroughly cooked chicken.

Packing and service left nothing to complain. Their menu is short which works because they are pretty good at their specific niche.

*Recommended Items

Biryanis are galore in Gurgaon, and by galore I mean a lot. To take over a market that's brimming with such joints you need a good presence in terms of the number of outlets you have, to make sure you're covering a lot of area but you also need a good product. A good biryani for me means so many things because there's no one biryani that is the same. Every biryani you eat from all the joints has something peculiar about it that sets it apart from the others. They all have the distinct element in them.

The Idea :

Biryani and Qorma are two things that go well together. They are made for each other, so I like the name. Given the name, they needed to deliver on both of these elements. Lets see if they did.

Pricing : - 4/5 - The rates they have on offer are market-friendly and quite economical when you'd compare them to the people around them and in the market. The starters are slightly on the higher end but the rest of the menu is on point. They can justify the price with probably the quantity more so.

Packaging : 3/5 -The packaging is sturdy and the food stays warm.

The boxes are the usual plastic. The biryani is packed in a transparent box - they can really do a better job with the presentation here. With everyone around them innovating, I would want a more effort put in this direction. No other pointers here, its quite similar to every other joint.

Food : 4/5 - The food is good, not great. Its something they need to work on to make it great. When you order biryani, you look for that distinct element. I couldn't find any. It was all the same.

† Tandoori Chicken - 3/5 : Just like every other Tandoori chicken I have ever had, this dint have too much meat but too much colour. It was well cooked but I would have wanted more from my 250 Rs.

† Chicken Tikka - 4/5 : The flavour was good and the chicken was cooked well, again with lots of colour.

† Mutton Biryani - 4/5 : The rice had flavour but there was too much oil. The grains were also not distinct. The mutton was succulent but I wish there was more meat on those pieces. In half, you'd get 4 pieces maybe, which isn't enough. The biryani was tasty but not memorable.

† Mutton Qorma - 4.5/5(*) : The meat was really good and so was the gravy. This is one dish that sets this place apart from all of the others. I remember having it and truly enjoying it.

Delivery Service : 4/5 - They delivered the food a little late, but they usually send it in time. Also, the food was delivered warm and in order.

Conclusion: If you like qorma, try theirs. They do it right.

Follow - hungrylowe on instagram for more updates!

dhananjayloweblog.wordpress.com

"If you're a mutton lover then this is the place for you. " - A foodie's heart

Biryani & Qorma is located right on the front side of Baani Square. Once you're in, there's not much to notice in terms interiors. However, the setting is small & can seat upto 15 ppl. The furniture is compact & chairs are comfortable. The server was courteous & well-versed with menu.

We started with freshly made chaach or butter milk which refreshing. Moving onto our starter for the day, Tandoori Chicken. The chicken pieces were grilled to perfection. The chicken on bone was marinated to the core. Texture was juicy & marination was delicious. Loved it!!

The accompanying chutney & onion rings added to the experience.

For the main course, we chose mutton dishes as it was chef's favourite too.

*Mutton Keema Kaleji - brilliantly executed recipe with rustic flavours of the masalas. The mutton keema was oozing with fresh flavours & dish was soaked in oil. It was an absolute treat for my taste buds.

*Mutton Korma - Next up was the Mutton Korma, made in a thick gravy with aromatic blend of the masalas. The mutton was super soft & pieces were apt for 3 people. It paired up well with soft & fluffy Khameri Roti.

*Khameri roti - One of the best Khameri Rotis I've tasted till date. The texture was absolutely fluffy & I could see the lovely layers.

*Sheermal - Made with lots of love & saffron, this sweetened roti is slightly thick & goes amazingly well with the korma.

On the whole, my experience was unexpectedly amazing. I found it Value for Money for their preparations on offer. The chef is from Lucknow & flavours are visible in their recipes. Ohh!! don't miss their creamy phirni for dessert.

Two dishes, Khameeri Roti and Mutton Korma, these are just brilliant. I can eat this combination forever. Couple of days back went with some friends for lunch, and we all had a delicious experience.

Food ordered -
Mutton Seekh Kebab
Chicken Tikka
Mutton Korma
Kaleji Curry
Mutton Biryani
Khameeri Roti
Sheermal
Phirni

Everything was just fantastic and the quality of Mutton was very good. It was soft, well marinated with spices and with every bite you can taste the different flavor especially in the main course gravy.

Kebab were also prepared well, with the softness was there, cooked and marinated in the spices, giving it a satisfying experience.

I would definitely recommend the Khameeri Roti and Mutton Korma combination
This weekend I had an order in from ........ The delivery was on time and the service was hassle free. Regarding the packaging though I experienced some issues. Although the food items were packed tightly , the dips were leaking a bit.

Orders -
1. Tandoori chicken- Juicy succulent chicken coated in spices and roasted to perfection. Not only was the taste good, the quantity was also sufficient to fill one person .

2. Chicken tikka - Just like Tandoori Chicken this was also full of spices. Soft and succulent pieces marinated well in a masala similar to Tandoori Chicken.

3. Butter Chicken- Being the sucker of butter chicken that I am, it is very hard for every butter chicken dish to wow me . But to my surprise this did the trick . Creamy yet tangy gravy with huge chunks of chicken and a layer of butter and cream on top, this is definitely is worth ordering.

4. Biryani - This unlike the other dishes , was a bit bland. The appearance , the texture and the aroma were spot on similar to the non veg biryani we all love. Just a lil more flavour and this would’ve been the best veg biryani I ever had.

Overall the experience was pretty good. The quantity was sufficient to feed two or three people. Except the packaging of dips, the delivery was very smooth. For a spice lover, this is the place to try.

A perfect place for satisfying Afghani taste buds. As the name suggests they are specialized in biriyani and qorma though they have excellent appetising options as well.
Mutton seekh kebab - The perfectly tender mutton with infusion of spices felt mouth watering.
Mutton biryani - The sumptuous biriyani with large chunks of mutton is the perfect Afghani dish. The quantity is excellent and would easily suffice 3 people. The herbs and the perfectly boiled long rice lentils is a serious treat to the soul.
Mutton nihari - The excellent gravy with such soft mutton is a perfect compliment with rotisserie and rice.
Khameeri Roti - The fluffy bread like soft roti complements very well with any kind of roti.
Sheermal - The sweetened roti with pores on it can also be eaten simply with chutney or with gravy.
Phirni - Nothing can end without a dessert like this. It is a in house preparation with kizmiz and dry fruits.

Biryani isn't the easiest thing to get right which in turn means that the quest for a fabulous biryani never ends. Stumbling upon this outlet was a result of the search mentioned above and while the overall food experience was sure worth the money spent, biriyani could've definitely been a lot better.

Cutting straight to the chase, we ordered for dishes from almost every section of their menu.

Chicken biryani - extremely greasy and undercooked rice grains along with meat pieces not coming off the bone with minimal effort were outright downers and made the biryani taste sub standard at best.

Chicken tikka - just about right amount of marination and tender chunks meant this was a stellar start to the proceedings. Marination had a tinge of lemon that made it tangy which was a good addition.

Mutton seekh kebab - minced well with a strong flavour and moist in texture meant this was another appetizer worth relishing. Quantity was enough to fill us up quite well so one can be rest assured of that while ordering.

Chicken qorma - good amount of gravy with well cooked chicken pieces was an absolute delight that teamed up well with the biryani. Probably something that one order along with their breads.

I was down by 1600 bucks all in but I wouldn't mind that considering the quantity on offer. If they can look into the minor aspects of biryani and get that right, they'd be doing an exceptional job.

After a long time, I have had such sumptuous, finger-licking Awadhi/Mughlai food. We ordered for a home delivery. The order included portions of chiekn kebab, mutton kebab, chicken biryani, mutton qorma and khameeri roti. Each of the items was very well prepared. I best liked the Qorma. The rice part of the biryani was also very good. Next time I would like to try some sweets to get an ever better idea of the place. The khameeri rotis often have the dispensation of getting hard, it wasn't the case here as they remained soft for good amount of time.

Tried for first time and This outlet is serving the best biryani and delicious North Indian food❤❤
Delivery was on time.
paneer qorma:
Taste was good and perfectly marinated.
Paneer makhni:
Medium amount of spices and rich in taste.
Veg biryani: perfect amount of spices and well cooked.

A friend of mine recommended me this place, and as usual, I ordered whatever I could find on the menu for lunch for three people. The menu is very limited but it is not an indication of any sort of limitation.
We had ordered Chicken Biryani (friend's recommendation), Chicken Qorma (friend's recommendation) and Chicken Seekh Kabab (Khud ka dimaag) and the order arrived right on time.

We all loved the Biryani, it was very nicely cooked and aromatised with proper chicken pieces, Seekh Kabab too was pleasurable but Chicken Qorma though amazingly delicious was a little oily - otherwise, we had a great lunching experience today.

One of the most- if not the most- authentic mughlai restaurant in this part of town. I went last week for the first time and had the chicken seekh kebab with chicken biryani. Both were excellent, along with the service-definitely will be back!

Perfectly prepared with proper combo of spices and delivered with gravy.
I like the Taste of Paneer Makhani, delicious pieces of soft paneer along with fabulous gravy, spicy taste prepared by experienced chefs.
For seasonal veg, i orderd Aloo Ghobhi adraki, delicious with home made recipe.
Delivery service is awesome, they deliver at doorsteps in given time.

Sometimes friends with love for non veg takes over your choice of food. Chicken was the mood for a working Saturday lunch and Briyani & Qorma Express served to it perfectly. Well marinated tandoori chicken and superb rich gravy of Chicken Qorma. Served with green chutney, onion and Salon. Chicken Briyani was okay infront of the other 2.
Value for money food and quality wise really good.
This is the feedback of the non veg lovers and it's hard to impress them truly.

I have heard a lot of good things about this place and decided to try their biryani and korma. The order was delivered on time and the packaging was excellent.

Chicken tikka was good and nicely cooked. Chicken biryani had the good quality rice grains. Chicken pieces in the biryani could have been more flavorful as I felt these lacked in the taste. Although, the rice in the biryani was good in terms of taste.

Mutton Korma was awesome and it was perfect in terms of both quality and quantity. It had the right mix of spices which gave it a amazing taste. Loved it with the lachha parantha and rumali roti.

It's a good outlet to try the mughlai food in Gurgaon. Recommended to the fellow foodies for their korma.

I've spent a significant amount of time in the heart of Delhi (Delhi-6 as we call it) exposing my taste buds to the best of dishes that are synonymous with Old Delhi.
Biryani & Qorma Express claims to be from Old Delhi and hence I had to try it out. I ordered a chicken combo so that I get to try maximum in the minimum amount spent ( they charged me 250 for the combo unlike 200 mentioned here on Zomato).I was served a portion of chicken Biryani, a portion of Chicken Qorma, One Khamiri Roti, Raita and 2 pieces of Chicken Tikka.
Biryani was okay, wouldn't rate it one of the best especially since chicken was dry. Overall, could be managed with Raita
Qorma was good. It was better than I expected it to be. Getting the spices and flavors right in Qorma is no easy task and they managed to live upto it quite well. With hot Khamiri roti straight out from tandoor, I never realized when it was gone!
Chicken Tikka, nothing outstanding to write about. Nevertheless, it was good in taste.
p.s : I wasn't served Chaas & Gulabjamun as mentioned in the combo.

That is what i call an improvement . Chicken was perfectly cooked this time and the gravy was perfectly creamy .
Thanks for such an experience :)

Food quantity-5/5
Food quality-4/5
Food packaging-5/5
Food delivery timing-5/5

Ordered from Biryani & Qorma Express yesterday night.
Paneer Tikka (4/5)- was marinated well therefore tasted good.
Vegetarian biryani (3/5)- which was more of a Rice pulao. Had too much cloves & elaichi which made it taste not too great.
Shahi Paneer (3/5)- which was replaced as they did not have Tandoori vegetables.
It tasted good but have had better.
Gulab jamun (4/5)- which was also replaced as they did not have phirni.

Craving for piping hot biryani and kebabs?
Then this is the place for you,
they serve amazing chicken and mutton biryani which will make you go weak on your knees.
The kebabs are so succulent and flavorful.
I loved every bit of everything.
This place definitely lived up to its name when it came to qorma.
Gosh! The qorma with shirmal was to die for.
I loved mutton qorma more.
When i thought it couldn't get better,
I tried their gulab jamun and guess what i was on cloud 9.
This place is a must have!
If you love biryani and qorma.
I will totally recommend this place to you or anyone.

I ordered chicken biryani from this place and it was the most pathetic biryani i have ever eaten
The rice used was of very low quality and nowhere near to be called Basmati.
Chicken just felt like it was boiled and put into rice it had no flavor at all.
To top all this the onion and raita which came with it was stinking and it felt as if they have been spoilt.

So after reading the reviews we finally ordered for mutton biryani and chicken qorma from B&Q express. The food was delivered very much on time and the smell was good. But quests what did we receive!!! Mutton qorma and chicken biryani. That was enough to spoil our Sunday lunch.

When asked them about the price difference, we were told that they shall adjust in future order! Seriously??? I liked their confidence!!! Future order😡

A place in bani square where you ll find delicious biryani and qormas. Quite fair as their name. I went with my friends for delightful food.
We ordered chicken biryani, mutton biryani, mutton qorma, khamiri roti, sheermal. Believe me, i loved the food. Qormas were superb. And khamiri roti, and sheermal were star of the evening ❤

It is a joint with a humble interior and a modest seating capacity. Nihari with Khamiri Roti and Mutton Biryani. Nihari came and conquered. It was a delight to look at. Had a pale yellow tinge, not floating in oil, a slightly thick gravy with meat peeping out and garnished with green shredded chillies , ginger, fresh coriander and lemon. A very flavourful aroma. Although it wasn't exactly like the Nihari you get in the old traditional places like Old Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, but it was still pretty good. Was not really spicy, but had a subtle yet distinct flavour. Meat was fresh, and succulent, well cooked and tender, was pinkish inside and juicy, exactly what you would expect from a Nihari Went well with Khamiri roti, but is best had with soft tandoori rotis. There was no flavour in the Biryani. They used golden sella rice. However, the meat once again were tender, juicy and succulent.

Heard a lot, thought of trying it. Coming across the name perception sets for a Hyderabadi Nawabi Food. Although you need to give a thought, they prepare it the way Delhiites love, Creamy and a bit less spicy.

Ordered Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Tikka as appetizers, both of them being flavourful. Especially the size of Chicken pieces for Chicken Tikka is quite good.

Then for the main course i had Chicken Biryani with Salan and Chicken Qorma with Rumali Roti. Found Chicken Qorma a bit on oily side although the taste was intact being a bit creamier. Try not to miss the salan they serve with the Biryani making Biryani Salan combo spicy and amazing.

For the Desserts i got Phirnee in my order which is quite good in taste and presentation. Served in a clay bowl enhancing the flavours and taste.

Must Try: Chicken Tikka and Phirnee.

Disgusting food, doubt the business ethics of this establishment.Ordered for chicken biryani for lunch and what I got was the worst biryani I have ever had. Seems like the chicken was prepared yesterday which was microwaved even the biryani rice was bad, could clearly see dried cooked rice morsels which made me think when was this biryani prepared.Had to throw away the entire portion of food.

Flavors of Old Delhi is the motto of Briyani & Qorma Express and it could not have been more apt. The authentic mughlai dishes & flavors in the heart of Gurgaon is a great thing for everyone.

The outlet is nice an cosy with seating inside as well in a beautiful outdoor area. Sufi music playing in the back ground transports you to an erstwhile era along with the food. The biryanis are authentic mughlai with long grain rice and meat that melts in the mouth. The Qormas are equally good. I guess the secret is the quality of ingredients as the aromas itself talk volumes about the food. I spoke to Chef Aneesh who is from a family of cooks from Lucknow who has been doing this for over three generations in his family. He told us that all spices are procured from the spice markets of old Delhi & the meat is all export quality. He recommended the Keema Kaleji which was absolutely heavenly. will try the popular Nihari next time. The breads were just right. The tour de force was the Phirnee flavored with saffron & pistachios and the mawa gulab jamun.

They also have home delivery & caterings for house parties and personal functions etc. The lunch combos looked interesting along with the new addition of roomali rolls for a quick bite on the go.

Service was warm and courteous with a touch of old world hospitality. Must visit & must order for this festive season.

Our lunch yesterday was at Biryani & Qorma Express, Baani Square. Me and Chef Sanjay Pawar had planned to go elsewhere but midway his another chef friend recommended this. So, the steering turned that way. It is a place with basic decor and can accommodate around 15 pax at a time. We were recommended Nihari so that was it. Nihari with Khamiri Roti and to be wrapped up with Mutton Biryani. Nihari came and conquered. It was a delight to look at. Had a pale yellow tinge, not floating in oil, a slightly thick gravy with meat peeping out and garnished with green chilly slices, ginger, fresh coriander and lemon. A very flavourful aroma was came out. A quick spoonful of gravy told us it was amazing. Was not spicy at all rather subtle yet distinct flavours. Meat was fresh, and succulent. Was pinkish inside and juicy. Went very well with Khamiri roti. This raised our expectations for the Biryani. Biryani came and floored us with its aroma and the looks. A quick serving in our plate and the first spoon on the palate said, oh no !! There was no flavour of Biryani in the rice. It was a golden sella rice that was used. This didn’t allow any spice to over power it’s flavour. In fact Biryani was flavourless. However, meat pieces once again were soft, juicy and succulent. I enjoyed the meat and left the rice. Biryani was a major disappointment. However, if you want to have Nihari, this is the place. #MagicofFlavours

So I was fond of this just place when it started and I thought that yes you can get the best of purani Delhi food here in gurgaon but let me tell you the quality of food has gone drastically down and from past 3 orders it has really gone down... Like today I ordered chicken quorma with khamiri... And trust me the food was pathetic., With no salt , it was bland and really bad....guys if you want.to survive go back to from where you started...... Or don't cheat your customers.. xxxxxxx

Heard a lot about this outlet for tasty and spicy Biryani and Qorma, so thought of trying yesterday.

I have ordered Chicken Biryani, Chicken Qorma Khameeri Roti and Pheerni. The order came very timely and the food was nicely and double packed.

Chicken Biryani was cooked in a balance way to retain its aroma and flavor.
Chicken qorma was looking a bit oily but in taste it was amazing. I loved the gravy of qorma absolute Delhi style tasty and little bit spicy.
Khameeri roti was just as naan but a bit different in taste but can turn into elastic if not consumed timely.
Pheerni was packed in "Kulhad" and the taste was damm good.

I would strongly recommend qorma and Pheerni if you love Delhi style food.

Before stepping into B&Q's quaint outlet tucked in the front row of Baani Square next to Ambarsari Chowk i had my own inhibitions and apprehensions about the food. But trust me as i am simply not giving it a 5point rating for a fact that the name of the restaurant fully lives upto its expectations be it Mutton Qorma or Chicken Qorma or be it their no frill no fuss Mutton or Chicken Biryani. And to gulp it along with the most beautiful tasting Khameeri Roti and Sheermal. To end your meal it becomes imperative to taste their Phirni which tastes as authentic as it gets along with stuffed warm Gulab Jamuns😋😋😋. I am in awww with the super tasting Qormas as this was the best taste i have found so far in GGN and definitely and certainly calls for a Re-Visit. Thank you chef for delivering such scrumptious and delicious food. Their mutton seekh and chicken seekh kebaabs are worth a mention too along with chicken tikka

I wasn't expecting so much from this place, but it really proved me wrong! The biryani herr is to die for,
And it's not even the best part.
You have to try their chicken and mutton qorma, tastes heavenly!
Every bite of that gravy with khameeri was heaven.
I loved everything.
The tikkas were Amazing, the seekh kebabs were so full of flavors.
But qorma just stole my heart.
I ended my meal with piping hot gulab jamun which was equally delicious.
You have to try this place if you haven't already! 😍

Horrendous is the word .. wish I could give less than 1 rating. We ordered biryani and what we got was bland rice and boiled chicken. Totally tasteless . Also from the cost perspective , this is slightly expensive than other biryani places in the neighborhood
#biryanees
This restaurant should drop the word biryani from its name ..

Today due to festival of ladies we decided to get the food delivered, one of my friend suggested this place as its near to our location and they agreed to deliver as well on this day.

We called and placed the order and got delivered on time.
Packing was good, containers kept the food hot.

I ordered paneer Makhani, dal tadka along with butter rotis and Gulab Jamun in Dessert. Paneer mankhni was pretty good as paneer was so soft and juicy prepared in butter gravy was just awesome.

Gulab jamuns also tastes great when its hot.

We enjoy our meal and will order it soon

Corporate life takes its toll upon us. And sometimes we get off late. I'll start off by appreciating BQ's effort to deliver till 2 am. It's a blessing, for a biryani aficionado like myself. The delivery was right on time and packaging was really good.
I ordered-

1) chicken biryani- this had to be there, of course. Loved the aroma, the colours, the perfectly cooked chicken and flavours. Alongside served was spicy curd. I was really craving for gravy tho.

2) chicken Korma- I really took the name biryani and qorma seriously by ordering the very same two :p
I absolutely devoured chicken Korma. Amazing gravy with the perfect balance of flavours. It was literally swimming in oil though. This is something that has to be taken into considering but the taste was smashing.

My experience literally ended on a very sweet note, a delicious gulab jamun.
This is highly recommended for late night dwellers in Gurgaon craving biryani, like myself.

Biryani & Qorma is best place for biryani lovers. It is located in Sec 50 Gurgaon. They have wide variety of Biryanis. I have ordered Chicekn Biryani, Paneer Tikka, Tandoori chicken and Gulab jamun.
Food was really good and yummy. Chicken Biryani is best among others. Tandoori chicken- well cooked. Paneer tikka is not soo good. In desert, I tried gulab jamun that was great. The delivery was on time. I like their food. Price was reasonable.

What a place!
I had most of the things from menu and I can count things that needs improvement.

It's a small place with 15-20 and open seating is also there as an option.

From starters, I had chicken Tikka and chicken & mutton seekh and half tandoori chicken. One word, perfect. Tandoori chicken was juicy enough to crave us for more, mutoon seekh was simply epic with the added spices and all the spices.

From biryani, I'd say mutton was better than chicken in every way. Be it the rice texture, flavour or pieces.

For mains I had mutton nihari with khameeri roti which was too good but the quantity was less for a half plate.

For desserts, out of 3, gulab jamun and phirni was readily available. Gulabjamun was very hot (which is good). Phirni needs a bit more thickness for the texture to make it an optimum choice.

Overall, I had a great Friday evening treat at this place.

Biryani and Kormas located in Sector 50 Gurugram is one of the best places to have best Korma.
Biryani and Korma both dishes require skills and experience to be added with different flavours and best spices and cooked in such a way that in every bite of soft juicy and tender meat you can feel a blast of flavours and aroma should make you crave for it.

This is exactly what i felt when i had Chicken Korma and Mutton Biryani from Biryani and Korma Express.

My stomach was full but i was not able to satisfy my taste buds and inner craving of mine for well cooked biryani and korma.

Highly recommended.

India is a land of diversities, which is well portrayed in its culture and cuisine. A land where taste changes at every 100 kms. Hence, it has a wide spectrum of food. I have been in the spree of searching aromatic yet subtle Biryani in Delhi NCR. I never wanted to relish on to those in Old Delhi.

Recently my quest for Biryani has been heard. They call themselves Biryani and Qorma Express, and nestled in sector 50 Gurugram.

I have never had such an eclectic and aromatic flavours which will certainly woo your tastebuds and made me order consecutively.

Chicken Qorma , Mutton Qorma and the biryani was just awesome. Not to forget the Khameeri Roti.
The taste which will never fade.

Guys if you are in and around this place make sure you drop by or order. They have something really tasty.
Visited this place at 1 a.m as we had no other choice and were dead hungry. We thought they'd serve cold food and leftovers from morning and its going to let us down anyway, so we didn't keep much hope. We placed an order for tandoori rotis and butter chicken. To my surprise the order was taking more time than usual and on enquiring they told us they were making it fresh. At first I thought it was just part of their strategy, but when the food was served, it just blew my mind, everything smelt, looked and felt fresh and I quickly dug in only to find out that this was the best dinner I could ever half in Gurgaon.

And trust me I tried other Stuff from their menu the next day and nothing matched the crazy mind blowing taste of their butter chicken. I think it's time they declare the butter chicken as their signature dish.
The chubby chunks of chicken is first tandoored to perfection and then mixed with the PERFECTLY SPICED TOMATO GRAVY! Mouth-watering already

Biryani and Qorma Express is the right place for biryani and other food dishes. It's is in sector 50, gurgaon. I ordered food from this place on my mom's birthday.

I ordered for

1. Chicken biryani

2. Butter chicken

3. Khameeri roti

4. Phirni

We 5 people had done dinner from the dishes that I had ordered. This place deliver in Gurgaon area.

I tried Veg dishes this time
* Paneer Qorma

* Paneer tikka

* Dal Makhni

* Roti

All the dishes were too yummy and I enjoyed them with raita. Prices of the dishes was very reasonable and family can eat food in budget of 1k approx budget.

Do try phirni of this place ,it was rich of dry fruits and tasty to had. While there are hundreds of biryani outlets in the city, this one emerges out to be among the best ones.

Biryani is now synonym for pizza which gets delivered quickly, Enjoyed by everyone and goes well on any occasion.

I relished there delicacies on a lazy Saturday afternoon as my brunch.

Starting off with Tikka's : Paneer & Achari Chicken, which ignited the hunger

Afterwards came Biryani which was flavourful and delicious, I loved it. (suggestion) try some filter to pull out elachi & Laung out of biryani

Dal Makhni was decent while khameeri roti could be improved

In the end, Phirni satisfied the sweet carvings

Decent pricing + Great taste makes it a worthy place

I decided to order food from this place.

I tried

Starters

Paneer tikka- it was good and well cooked so I loved the taste of it . Paneer was very soft and fresh as well.

Main course
Paneer Qorma- The gravy of the paneer qorma is always my favorite so I ordered specially this dish. Spices added in it was making it tastety

So my experience with this place was good and I hope you will also love this place food.

The food they serve is a delight! We ordered mutton qorma, mutton seekh, khameeri roti for lunch and we literally licked the bowls clean. We also had sheermal and its the best that I have ever had. Overall, this place offers amazing mughlai food and their delivery time is short and quick. Will definitely try out more.

Ordered the food from this place and Got the food on time.
Food : Mutton Biryani , Mutton seekh , Mutton Korma and Sheermal.

Being a brand with Biryani in name and famous it, serving the worst biryani. It was tasteless and flavourless while biryani should be full of favours and specially in Mutton. But didn't like it all.

Mutton was good as the seekh was very soft and juicy.

Korma was also good with good Korma gravy which was very good in taste and pieces too were very soft.

Also liked the sheermal.

So overall average place but not recommended for Biryani.

Timely service and overall food taste was good. The meat was well done in both Biryani & Qorma but Qorma (though I know it is meant to oily but not this much) had equal amount of oil as compared to the curry masala. Biryani too tasted very good but was more on a oilier side. Cannot comment on portion size. Sheermaal was good but not as good as location rival & popular mughlai brand Kaiser. From pricing point it is slightly on a higher side than Kaiser in some dishes while Sheermaal & Phirni are more reasonable here. Seekh Kebab & Chaas are must haves.
The Feast That's Life
Biryani and Qorma Express is a chain with two outlets in Gurgaon, serving up some damn good food at reasonable rates. Their combo deals are especially value for money, and I went for the mutton combo which at 300 bucks provides an entire meal comprising Masala Chaach, Mutton Seekh Kebab, Mutton Biryani, Mutton Qorma, Burrani Raita, Sheermal, and Phirni.

The food was delivered hot and on time, and though there was no spillage and everything was packed nicely, they could use some other packing for the chaach rather than the plastic box, as transferring the drink from that to a glass is very difficult.

The chaach was refreshing, with a light flavoring of coriander, and the seekh kebabs were moist and flavorsome, with a sprinkling of a spicy masala. The biryani was nicely, with well-cooked rice which had a nice fragrance and delicate seasoning, and the mutton pieces were juicy, but the masalas had not seeped into the mutton adequately. The spicy and tangy burrani raita went really well with the biryani. Our favorite dish of the lot was the Mutton Qorma- the mutton was juicy and well-cooked, and the gravy, made with whole spices, was absolutely delicious. This dish is a must-try! We relished the mutton with the slightly sweet and well-made sheermal. We ended the meal with the phirni, which came in a mitti ka sakora, was nice and smooth, just adequately sweet, and really tasty.

Overall, a nice option for tasty food at reasonable rates.

The quantity at the place is also great.

Food items i had

Tandoori chicken: The chciken pieces were nicely marinated before cooking and tasted nice and had a crispy layer outside.

Chicken biryani: The biryani had ample of pueces and tasres really well along with sauces and raita.

Dal makhni: It was super creamy and had all the flavours and richness tasted really well along with breads

Gulab jamun: they were nice and soft and tasted really well after a heavy meal soothing our souls.

Biryani and qorma is an amazing yet small outlet that serves some pretty good food, the quality of the great and you have an amazing range of items to order from.

They generally serves less items than other outlets but still the items on the menu are superb in taste.
I ordered
Mutton biryani: The biryani was great and the pieces were nicely cooked and had all tye flavours.

Nihari: The items had proper flavours and couldn't be comapred to any other restaurant.

Moon Dal ka halwa : Was extra ordinary and all the pure desi ghee used made the flavour even more awesome.

Place is a must try for all those who consider biryani's as an important part of their life.

The restaurant was kind enough to look into the matter and serve us again with Biryani, better than the first time for sure . They have ensured that my experience was better this time.

I tried mutton qorma with khambiri rooti. Mutton corma was amazing it tatsed so well, i could taste all the Mughal flavor. The gravy was thick and the mutton was well cooked. This is the first time that I actually felt that i tried Mughal flavors, the chef had put a lot of hardwork in making the qorma so well. The khambiri rooti on the other hand was soft and reminded me of the ancient times, when i took a bite the the qorma tasted so well with khambiri rooti that I couldn't stop hogging more. The green chatni was sour spicy and safetied my taste buds. I also tried mughal sweet called sheermal, it was the best sheermal i tired it wasn't too sweet and wasn't too blank. The flavor of each dish was so balanced and the color of the qorma was to die for. They are quick with delivery which is amazing to see. A good mughal outlet in gurgaon.. do try the food the taste is so genuine..
keep it up guys

Chicken Biryani. Fantastic and outstanding dish to take over here. Here the chicken pieces are excellent. Well served with green chutney and onions. Wonderful location.

Tried Biryani and qorma yesterday night as they are amongst the few which are open till late.

Got the order delivered outside their restaurant in the car. Bill came to a total of Rs 295/-. After handing over Rs 300/- to their guy, He simply said thank u and left. Its not about 5 Rs, but ethics. If you don't have change or any other reason for that matter, SAY IT. you cant simply just say "thank u" and walk away.

Anyway, Im NOT rating this review basis on this. So, pls read this only as a personal experience which can happen anywhere.

Review as below :

Ordered half chicken biryani. The first outlook was impressive and packaging was neat.
Rice quality, aroma and flavours all were great, till I saw the chicken pieces. They were anything but fresh (see pics).
Hard, chewy and a odd stale colour to the chicken pcs had put me off to even have the biryani. Finally had the biryani less the chicken pcs.

If I ignore the chicken's freshness, the Packaging, Biryani, raita, mint chutney all were excellent.

Try at own risk. For me its a No.

Service : 1/5
Taste : 4/5
Quality : 1/5

Today , I decided to order Mughlai food from Biryani and Qorma , specialist in mughlai items . Most of the time I order non veg items , but this time for a change , I ordered whole veg dishes . I have tasted so many mughlai food and find there's as quite different and awesome.

I ordered Masala Chaas , Veg biryani , Tandoori veg sampler , Arhar dal , Burrani raita with khameere roti . In dessert I order phirni . Masal Chaas was refreshing like always. Veg biryani was spicy and tasted nice. Tandoori veg sampler was quite creative and tasty. Arhar dal was decent and i liked it. Burrani raita tasted awesome with all the food items, but went best with Biryani. Khameeri roti was spongy and thick, i just loved it.
All the food was nice as always. Packing was leak proof. They also delivered food on time.

A must try for mutton lovers. The best keema kaleji and quorma available in Gurgaon. They know exactly how a bargain should be. Old Delhi is too far and crowded, the seating and service here is great.

Food: 1/5
Service: 4/5
Ambience: N/A (Delivery)

I ordered chicken biryani late night as this place was featured for that. The dish was disappointing - rice was bland, no spices, just the colour. The chicken was chewy, almost all of the pieces fibrous and bland. The quantity is good for the price but the quality wouldn't convince you to finish it. With my experience, it's a no-no.
Jim
Ordered chicken biryani, and it was horrible to say the least. The chicken was raw, lazily cooked, with no spices or herbs used at all. So all in all it felt like I was eating bland rice with hard to chew + bland chicken. Not recommended at all.
GOURMET FOODIE
A small food joint in bani square which is home to alot of food outlets now. We have ordered a mutton biryani with korma curry. The food was cooked well with nice aroma of the biryani but lacks a bit on taste. With a flood of restaurants coming up you can give it a miss ;)

Very bad food, AC was not working and chicken biryani was just combination of rice and dry chicken (seems to be combined later).
Veg biryani was also hopeless.. total waste..

First half delivery and tandoori roti instead of kahmeeri roti and to nail it rude manager totally ruined our dinner , they gave all lame excuse to prove that this is kameeri roti

Saw this place in baani square and decided to order at home as I absolutely love a good biryani and qorma too but who doesn't?!!!!
The mutton qorma with the khameeri roti was delicious and then to finish it off I had the mutton biryani with the qorma...the food was absolutely delectable and the mutton was cooked properly. The packing was good which kept the food hot. Have gone on to order a couple of more times and haven't been disappointed! Recommended for people who love biryani and qormas!!

May I had a bad experience, but when I saw the Mutton Biryani, I as speachless- was just yellow coloured rice without spices. I thought may be, it would be good to eat as some styles of cooking does not envolves khade masale. But then it was bland there, nothing other than salt and few spices.

The restaurant had bad ambiance, ACs not wotking, different sets of glaces, Chicken which I ordered had button curry.

In short it as not as I expected out of my Rs 1.5k .

Went to Biryani and Qorma express to enjoy some nice chicken and mutton.

Our experience was just about ok... we ordered a sheermal.... this was one of the primary reasons for is to select this place. However, this wasn't as expected.

A big advantage of the place is the store timing!

Please see the attached pictures. I went there late night for dinner and ordered tandoori chicken and chicken biryani.
Their "tandori chicken" is a dipped chicken in jalapeno sause. I was more shocked to my suprise when the person who took my order said, "this is how tandoori chicken is being made." I later googled pictures of TC to actually show how it is on the other side of the planet.
For chicken biryani- my friend ended up having a tooth ache while struggling with rubber chicken pieces.

P.S: they changed my dish and then gave me a "fried" tandoori chicken.

The best part- WAITER. He gave us a very good service and was FAR much literate than the staff.
Tipped him a decent amount which he surely deserved.

My friend and I ordered the tandoori chicken and the biryani. Hands down, this restaurant has one of the best biryani I have ever had thus far. The tandoori chicken was good but nothing too special
