Review Cafe O Lait - Gurugram (Gurgaon)

Visited this cafe few days back to try some tarts nad just loved it. Got one Christmas hamper for my family too and they too loved it. Cookies, tarts, plum cake all were too good. Loved the way they packed the stuff .

Somedays you just feel like having coffee late at night to calm your mind in the city which never sleeps.. Explored this café to have coffee. Though it was a mixed experience. Ambience was so soothing and peaceful which gave me exact comfort what I was looking for along with coffee. Ordered Cappuccino Coffee nicely served with cookies which we usually don’t get in any other café. Coffee was not very strong & was decent, if you need a little strong then you need to guide for the proportion of coffee in your mug. We did stay here for over two weeks with family. The bakery cafe was great. Lots of good and a wide variety of pastries, cakes and other scrumptious options to select from. The staff was amazing and service had been exceptional. We all had an excellent experience here, especially due to the wonderful staff and options offered. The hotel lobby is well done and is a nice place to enjoy late night desserts as you get buy one get one after 9.

High class decor and nice ambience, this Cafe serves one of the best cappucinos in town. Perfect blend, strong aroma and worth every sip. However, the complimentary cookies served along with, were all soggy and stale. Staff was good but seemed tired and bored. And there was this weird odour in the premises which was spoiling the mood. Despite all that, I’d still go there again for its amazing coffee.

Absolute peaceful ambience with good coffee. A great conversation over a cup of coffee this is the place to go ! Lovely decor and good service.

Loved this cafe with lovely interior and cosy seating. Perfect for rewinding after hectic day for coffee and relaxing. Capacino coffee very good.

So far, whatever I've tried at this coffee shop has been really good! I love the cakes and the Tiramisu they have is probably one of the best tiramisu I've had in Gurgaon if not India and trust me on this having visited Italy I know a good tiramisu when I eat one. If you happen to stroll by this part of the city or you're staying at the hotel you need to come down to the cafe once for a cup of joe or the cakes! You won't regret it.

This place is perfect all your cake needs. Some great cakes apart from an array of mouth watering pastries on offer at Hilton Garden Inn, Baani Square.

The outdoor seating is amazing to relax if weather allows so. <br/><br/>On my personal visit I ordered:<br/><br/>A cup of coffee, their coffee brew was strong, it was decent. Had a cake delivered from here on birthday. And honestly, it was yum!! Rum & Raisin it was, with evenly layered sponge, nice and fluffy, juicy & just perfect.  Garnish could have been better, with some properly decorated flakes. But right on top of quality!! A great job done by the Chef!! Must be appreciated.

Decent spot for coffee if you are looking for a quiet oasis, and it's the ambience, and not the coffee, that's more important to you. Their coffee brew is strong, which works well for an Americano but not so for the cappuccino, which was a bit watery. The zeera cookies that come with the coffee were nice. Service is prompt and unobtrusive. The dessert display looked ordinary (and a bit overpriced) so didn't try anything from there. Their outdoor seating is lovely too, especially on a sunny winter afternoon!

Had a night stay and had a breakfast here, The breakfast has north, south and continental options. I went South and idli Sambhar with chutney was good, coffee from the machine was not good. Fruit juices options was good and has yogurt options. Service is just about okay but staff is courteous. Value for money for the price I paid.

Should try chocolate milk shake early morning...... Services expected as its a HOTEL.... People seems busy somewhere need to pull them.... Peaceful place

Average in terms of a four star hotel. Menu is limited and not too fond of the food quality either.<br/><br/>The restaurant and service don't reflect HILTON standards at all.

We got a strawberry cheese cake on valentines day. Such a treat it was! The oh-melts-in-mouth feeling. It was soft, fresh and has strawberry pieces spread evenly. <br/><br/>We found their entire array of pastries quite tempting. Will definitely go back to try the other ones.

Have loved their food and service always! Have enjoyed our evening coffee many times post hectic days of work and cakes on many special occasions, Except one goof up when we were given a non-veg croissant instead of veg.

After a really long day at work, we went to Cafe O' Lait at the Hilton Garden Inn last night. We reached at about 1130 pm and there wasnt a soul in sight in the restaurant. I wouldve thought well monday night but then I remembered I had been here on a friday night once before and just like yesterday we were the only table. <br/><br/>Someone did spot us and came out to help us, we found a nice comfortable seating and settled down. At that hour only the round the clock menu was available. We ordered the Gosht Saagwala and Rice. While the rice came out smelling and looking immaculate, for the mutton I will only say I have had better. The dish lacked flavor and texture. It seemed like the spices never penetrated the meat. Almost like the saag and the mutton were cooked separately and then thrown in together. Quite disappointed at the food. I still rated it average because I remember liking the food at an earlier instance (I dont seem to remember what I had though). <br/><br/>I will go back to maybe give another dish a try (this time something continental...I honestly think the better hotels have now westernised the gravies so much that you never get the taste you want). Service was great and very prompt another huge plus for me.
