Review Viva Hyderabad - Gurugram (Gurgaon)

Ekta Jain
Been to this place to try their special Hyderabadi Biryani. Outlet is at the Food Court of this mall. I ordered Paneer subz Biryani which came along with Raita, Mint Chutney & freshly sliced onions. It tasted delicious and the quality & quantity was totally upto the mark. Staff were all very cooperative. One thing must said, I was impressed by their fast service. Apart from Biryani we also had Chatpata Aloo 65, Shahi paneer Korma with Rumali roti, Shikanji & Kheer in dessert. Shikanji wasn't that good but other items were great. This outlet is little expensive but worth it! I had a great experience here and I hope it goes same for you too :)

I am one of those people who cannot stay without Biryani. I crave for it on a regular basis. There's something magical about it. That's when Viva Hyderabad came to my rescue. I don't care what other people says about this place. I find their Biryani really delicious and my first preference whenever I crave for it. Although they offer a few variety of Biryanis, Mutton Biryani stays to be my favourite. Other than Biryani, i think their Rolls are pretty awesome. Especially their Chicken 65 Tikka Kebab Roll. #Follow me on INSTAGRAM for some amazing Food/Travel Blogs (ID:- Foodiee_Biker)

Happened to be in the mall and hungry. Looked for the options and saw the Viva. Incidentally, I had refused an invitation to hyderabadi biryani dinner a week ago, so decided to have it here at viva. Ordered mutton biryani for myself and friend, liked it and so ordered once more. They got their flavours right. The mutton quality is good. Doesn't become dry, if after reheating in the oven! Then I wanted to try the mutton korma too. Again full marks on mutton quality. Although I'll admit my taste buds are more towards lakhnavi style korma, my companion like it. And we ended the meal with the chilled kheer. The only improvements I'd like them to have is that the cool drinks need to be chilled/colder. A good place to have a quick meal for hyderabadi biryani lovers :-)

Tried the platter which contains biryani, bhunao kebab masala, roomali roti, churri and salan. This platter is absolutely amazing. Churri (simple gravy) is full of flavors. The bhunao kebab is no doubt the best. Must try!

Best biryani till date in gurugram. Quantity and quality go hand in hand. Will surely visit again.

I ordered a smaller portion of mutton biryani with salan and lemonade. <br/>To my surprise the biryani turned out to be good and with perfect flavours. Everything was so balanced. Although the salan was ok but the green chutney could’ve been avoided.<br/>Looking forward to visit soon.

Viva Hyderabad is famous in NCR region particularly because of their authentic Hyderabadi Food. I am madly in love with their Biryani.<br/>Chicken Boneless Biryani in particular.<br/>If I knew their recipe, I would make it everyday for the rest of my life.<br/>Not only this, they make the best Kormas too. No outlet can compete with it.<br/>I am a fan of Shahi Paneer Korma. It always satisfies my taste buds. I am craving for it right now.<br/>But if you are planning to visit here and not sure about what to eat then you can try their Rolls. You will get an idea about its taste.<br/>Don't forget the kheer in the end.<br/>Also, a personal message to the management. It would be awesome if you add few more options for the customers. Choices are limited for. Not really a problem though.

Viva Hyderabad provides freshly prepared Biryani and main course cuisines, The appetizers are delicious, menu contains korma and paneer cuisines along with choice of bread. i ordered signature chicken biryani, freshly cooked with lots of ingredients and added with spicy chicken pieces, the taste and flavours were perfect in taste. Roll segment of Viva Hyderabad contains variety of veg and nonveg rolls, the taste and flavours were just perfect. In veg segment i ordered Paneer korma, freshly cooked with flavourful ingredients and it was perfect combination with rumali roti, i appreciate the taste of soft and spicy paneer korma.

Viva Hyderabad as its name tells itself about the place, its a heaven for biryani lovers. It's in the food court of mgf metropolitan mall, gurugram. A quite decent place for Mughlai food. Service is good. I and my colleague were hungry so we thought to give it a try. As it were so famous for its biryani. We ordered chicken biryani and sukha chicken kebab.<br/><br/>Sukha chicken kebab - the chicken was so fresh and Juicy. we preferred boneless. The taste is really delicious and spicy. The quantity is also enough. The color of the chicken is tempting and I will visit.<br/><br/>Chicken Biryani - I am fond of biryani and tasted a lot of biryani of many places but the flavor of biryani was really unique and surprised me. The quantity was enough, the chicken piece was enough in quantity. There were a salon, raita n sauces along with biryani which makes its taste double.<br/><br/>If you go then you guys must taste the biryani they have vegetarian and nonvegetarian both options.

This place is the hub for all the Biryani lovers. Their aromatic and mouth watering biryanis with subtle layers of flavour are just heavenly and makes you crave for more. The best part is that, they offer special discounts and offers for customers. This is one place where you can get authentic biryanis at unbelievable prices. Fans of this place say that there biryani is prepared from rice using the ancient dum method of cooking. This place is perfect for people who wanna eat great but have a little budget restriction. Must try is Peshavri Murg Biryani and Kheer Makhmali, and please don't hesitate to try their simple Veg Biryani as well, that preparation is also wonderful.<br/>WILL I GO AGAIN: YES<br/>QUALITY: 10/10<br/>QUANTITY: 10/10<br/>SERVICE: 10/10<br/>TASTE: 10/10<br/>VALUE FOR MONEY: 10/10<br/>OVERALL: 50/50

I thought this would be a great store as it's located in MGF Metropolis.<br/><br/>Moreover, they are also a bit on the higher side if I compare it to other biryani stores.<br/><br/>I ordered there soya Chaap biryani and was quite disappointed with the order.<br/>It felt like it was plain rice along with chunks of Soya.<br/><br/>They could have definitely worked a bit more on the rice with their spices so that rice doesn't feel bland.<br/>Their salan was also not up to the mark.<br/>I thought to first understand their preparation before writing this review, however, their manager just said that 'People taste is different' and he can't do anything if I didn't like their product.<br/><br/>Hope to have a better experience next time.

Viva Hyderabad is very famous for its biryanis.<br/>They offer great variety in biryanis that are for both vegetarians and non vegetarians.<br/>My favourite is their chicken Biryani.<br/>I have had it twice or thrice in two outlets of viva Hyderabad and I was surprised to see the food standardisation.<br/>The biryani had the same taste, quantity and texture.<br/>I was really amazed to see this.<br/>Sikhampuri Chicken roll is one of the items from starters offered by them, which I think is the only food item I would choose over the chicken Biryani.<br/>For me, it's my perfect snack.<br/>Bhuna chicken kebab masala is great too if you want to go for some variety. But if you're choosing the best ones, chicken Biryani and sikhampuri Chicken roll it is.
The Food Dynasty
This is one of place I trust when it comes to Biryani. Their mutton biryani is simply the best I have tried so far. Do try this if you are visiting here for the first time.<br/>Also, i seem love their kormas a lot.<br/>Which one do I prefer?<br/>I love their Shahi Paneer Korma. Tastes delicious along with rumali roti.<br/>And who can miss out on their rolls. For me Chatpata aloo 65 is the best. Do try this if you are visiting here for the first time and are vegan.<br/>It surely won't disappoint you.<br/>Another underrated item in their menu is the Hyderabadi chicken boneless kebab. I love it more than their rolls.<br/><br/>Also, i wish if the staff could offer more item with their menu. Would be wonderful for all the customers.

Tried their biryani with kormas recently.<br/>Though their biryani doesn't taste very good without the korma but with the korma, it tastes amazing.<br/>I don't have words to describe how amazing it was.<br/>Their biryani is one of the bests I have had in NCR.<br/>Even thinking about it is making my mouth water. 🤤🙈<br/>Best Biryani according to me?<br/>Mutton Biryani. One of the most underrated item in their menu. I love it more than their Chicken Biryani. The mutton is nicely cooked and their flavors are out of the world.<br/>Things to try other than biryani?<br/>Their rolls. 😍<br/>Especially the chicken 65 tikka kebab roll. The best. 😍<br/>Also, the rates are quite reasonable. The presentation can be improved, but it's not something that will Matter to you much once their biryani is in front of you.<br/>Definitely worth a try.
Shefali Midha
One of my favourite places for some Hyderabadi food.<br/>I love how short and crisp their menu is, it gives a complete Hyderabadi feel.<br/>Everything from starters to drinks to dessert reminds me of Hyderabad. They are one of the very few restaurants that actually serve food with the Hyderabadi taste.<br/>Their biryani are amazing, my all time favourite is chicken boneless biryani. It tastes best with chicken dumpakht korma. I can literally, live on it.<br/>The food is also very economical.<br/>I have been here so many times that I have explored their entire menu.<br/>The chicken 65 tikka kebab roll is amazing as well.<br/>This place is a must visit.
Dangerously Delicious
Visited here for a dinner with a friend. Had low expectation after seeing their basic and simple interior and ambience.<br/>We ordered their Combo meal for 2 which had Large Biryani, Starter or Korma of my choice, Rumalis, Raita , Salan and Dessert or drinks.<br/>We chose their Chicken Biryani, Chatpata Aloo 65 and Kheer.<br/>Biryani turned out to be extremely delicious. I didn't expect it to be that good.<br/>Chatpata Aloo was just fine. Nothing special about it. Can be improved.<br/>Kheer was great too. Can the management increase the quantity they offer? 🙈<br/><br/>Overall a good experience. Justified the price we paid.
Forever_Foodie
The only reason why I order from this place because I simply love their Chicken Biryani. I have tried out many outlets but can't find anything like it. They just add all the spicy flavours to it which makes me crave for it even more.<br/>Also, 5 out of 5 for the quantity they order. I find it hard to finish everything on my own.<br/>If you are ordering for the first time from this outlet and are confused about what to eat then go for their Veg Biryani.<br/>Also, if you are not really a fan of Biryani, then too this place won't disappoint you. You can try their Chatpata Aloo 65 Roll.

I am in MGF Mall for shopping with my sister and very hungry so we decide to for some food at food court. We choose Viva hydrabad for it. We ordered chicken biryani and we have it. It is good and sufficient for 2.
FoodInMind
We ordered chicken 65 Tikka roll, chicken boneless biryani and chicken bhuna kabab. It was so yummy and was fresh. Best was biryani. It had fragrance of all the spices that a biryani should have. All the spices were so clear in taste and was properly cooked. The order was delivered exactly on time. I was really impressed with their service.

Would have given zero star, but alas! It is not mentioned in the rating.<br/>This restrauant serves last night left over food,if you visit this place in the morning(12pm around),they serve shit for the name of biryani.<br/>I had ordered the regular one veg biryani and what i got was a thermacol plate full of last night food heated in microwave(they admitted to it).<br/>The biryani was like full of disease plate serve with a high price of ₹156.<br/>I suggest you to not go to this place if you love your money and your health.<br/>

This is to a Wow...biryani. I loved there boneless chicken biryani. It was perfectly cooked. That aroma was mouth watering. A sufficient meal enough for 2 people.

Located in mgf metropolitan mall, we tried their paneer korma, Dal makhni, veg biryani, kheer and Rumali roti. All In all, the food was delivered hot. Loved the taste of it. Do try this place. I highly recommend their paneer Korma.

Today I visited this place along with my friends to try their speciality (biryani) as one of my friend suggested me to try . The place is nice and very inviting , seating is also good and comfortable. Overall the ambience was great and service was also fast and very humble .We orderd chicken biryani and veg . biryani along with kababs . Chicken biryani was just amazing , chicken was soft amd tender and rice was very flavourful . That amazing Hyderabadi touch in biryani and spices made a deadly combination . Vegetable biryani was also good and spicy . Kababs were tender , there was a delicious blend of spices in it which were making kababs lip smacking . Definitely will recommend others to try their chickem biryani amd kababs .
Food Scenes
We ordered starters and Biryani for lunch at office. The food arrived on time, no hassle with the order or anything. Good service. Packaging was quite neat. Portion size good. The biryani was well prepared and they serve the paneer on the side. The Kheer which we ordered was delicious but little thin in consistency. Their version of Chicken 65 is spicy and again tasty. They call it Hyderabadi Boneless Chicken Kebab and is a recommended try. Loved the Paneer Bhuna Masala too.
Ayushi Mehta
Went to the metropolitan mall for shopping and tried their awesome biryani. The biryani had a superb taste as the authentic biryani of Hyderabad. We tried mutton biryani and the quantity and the quality of biryani did complete justice to its price. The service was quick. They also have a wide range of options to choose from in their menu from both veg and non veg. We really loved our experience and surely goona visit again.

Had an amazingly delicious lunch from viva hyderabad recently, the food came on time with decent packaging, food was warm and steamy. I had three dishes from here namely, chicken biryani, chicken roll which was truely mouthwatering and delicious and the bhunna chicken won my heart. Truely delicious food i must say. Will definitely order again to try their other dishes and varieties. Thanks team viva

One of the best outlet for different biryani's. I have recently tried Biryani which was tasty and good. I ordered - <br/>Bhuna Paneer Kebab Masala<br/>Veg Kebab Biryani [Soya Chaap Kebab]<br/>Shikampuri Paneer Roll<br/>Kheer Makhmali<br/>Excellent food, Few expensive, but everything on their menu is very delicious! The "Bhuna" line of dishes is also awesome! I tried Paneer from here. <br/><br/>Service was fast!<br/>Quality- 5/5<br/>Quantity- 4.5/5<br/>Ambience- 5/5<br/>Overall - 5/5 <br/><br/>I suggest all you guys to try this place. I'm sure you'll love it too, as much as I did.

We were here for a meal and really liked these guys!<br/><br/>The peshawari murg biryani was delicious and came with raita and gravy. We also quite enjoyed eating the mutton korma and bhuna chicken.<br/><br/>They serve good food which is value for money.<br/><br/>The kheer can do with some improvement, though it tasted well.<br/><br/>Happy Eating!<br/>

Located at food court of MGF mall. Tried Chicken Biryani & Shikampuri Chicken Roll, not worth for the price they charged. Nothing special i found.<br/>Even though delivery was quick & fresh.<br/>Roll should be little bit thick & juicy. So hope it should be considered in future.

I ordered paneer subz biryani...it was good in taste.. ptesentation was also nice.. biryani was cooked properly and was fresh with lil lil pieces of paneer..❤️

Worst biryani eaten....Should go to old delhi Nizam's for food, quality worst eaten...No spoon to eat...No courtesy from staff...Would not recommend for biryani.
Prakriti Pokhrel
You guys need to come up with something better. Naming biryani a Hyderabadi won't really help. You need to enhance the quality of the food you serve. Keep less varieties but make it worth!
Sana Anjum Siddiqui
When the place is committed with Biryani then they ought to stick to authenticity of the art of cooking Biryani. The name of the place has Biryani in it, It's worthy of the name. I ordered their non veg biryani combo, which was delivered via Food delivery app. The packing was wonderful, the food was fresh hot. The time taken for preparing order to delivering it was less than expected.<br/><br/>I ate biryani after months and it just set the benchmark again. It was perfect with exact amount of spice to condiments to rice ratio. Soft and tender cooked chicken, PERFECT colour. Appetite stimulating fragrance and delicious in taste.
Dheeraj Avvari
The quantity of the Biryani in combo is not at all sufficient for a single person.<br/>The so called "Half" biryani is equivalent to Quarter in Hyderabad. If they can't serve with Hyderabadi standards, they shouldn't call themselves with Hyderabad name.<br/>When I asked the guy about this, he responded rudely.<br/><br/>2.5 rating is wrt to food quality.<br/>It is not as good as Biryani Blues but fine.<br/>Sasikanth Lanka
Sudipa Ray
Went for a Biryani platter which had chicken Biryani, chicken korma, dal makhni, rumali roti and a potato stuffed roll with raita. Liked the food. One platter is enough for one person. Got one piece each in Biryani and korma. Both well cooked. Liked the taste, look and quality of rice used of the Biryani. Korma was seriously yummy though dry. Didn't go with Biryani but good with the rumali.
Manikant
Have tried their bhuna kebab roll and chicken 65 tikka kebab roll. None of them felt worth the price to be honest. A no-go at-least for rolls.
Diki Sawhney
These guys are beyond ridiculous! I love their food but their delivery really sucks! I ordered at 2130 and its now almost 2300 and I don't have my food. My last order a few months back was exactly the same! It takes them atleast 1.5 hours to deliver food. I mean c'mon viva hyderabad... I am surprised you guys are still in business. You have an average rating of 2.3 and I don't think you are working to improve that!<br/><br/>I called their number and the guy who answered the phone was very polite and apologetic... but just words. Whats really pushed me off the edge is that they used the 'EXACT' same excuse they did the last time. <br/>"The bike broke down and the guy is at Maruti Udyog"... Cmon! the same excuse??<br/><br/>Really disappointed!
Gaurav Prakash
I have been to this place so many times in the last 3 years and I happened to go to this outlet located in the food court of mgf metropolitan mall, mg road a few weeks ago. I ordered the biryani thali which is a combo of chicken biryani and a shikanji to go with it.<br/>Some observations over how things have changed over years:<br/>1. The quality of rice has degraded. <br/>2. The chicken ain't tender anymore<br/>3. The gravy isn't thick and is very coconuty.<br/>I feel that the quality has gone so south that you need major changed at a quality level to bring it where it was.<br/><br/>Hope you consider making the changes and serve better food in the coming time <br/><br/>2.5/5

Just checked-in to watch the Movie - Neerja 👍<br/>Tried chicken biryani (one pack) from this place and didnt find it near to good :(<br/>Will continue with my review after watching the movie...<br/><br/>10 pm (Post Movie - Neerja) <br/><br/>Well, somehow these food courts in Malls do lack high standards and the reason for this is very simple ie customers visit Malls to shop / watch movies and such food outlets always get people over, to eat something. Almost all such food kiosks/outlets are franchised and they do rocking business for about 12 hours in a day. The chicken biryani we had was not at all fresh as it was packed (sealed) already. It must have been prepared in bulk and unlike the fresh and delicious biryanis available at 'Biryani Blues' and 'Biryani by Kilo', Viva Hyderabad's biryani lacked the basic flavours of a delectable chicken biryani. <br/><br/>Well - personal attention to details, by owners themselves makes a lot of difference or else, its sheerly, a money making business and duping customers :(<br/><br/>Mall authorities must ensure that newer and budding food brands are given opportunities to set up their own stalls in food courts.

chiclen biryani used to be gud but after sometime the taste was absent . substituted viva hyderabad with biryani blues . does not taste awesome lyk hyderabadi biryani .
Sanya
This place was at the food court of mgf mall and since biryanis seem attractive and are quite filling, I went ahead with Viva. I had some hyderabadi biryani. Looking at the price, I was waiting for some large quantity of delicious biryani. And all I got was a small plate with biryani and raita separately. <br/>After the quantity disappointed me, came the taste. As far as I've heard and eaten all these years; I recall that Hyderabadi biryani is spicy. Nope nope I was wrong. I felt like a 5 yr old kid, when I was eating this plain, spice less stuff. Sorry guys, please improvise on your food.
Neeraj Kaushik
Veg combo is really very great..<br/>Mostly i like the service,,as they bring the order very soon..<br/>As i love eating different foods at different places..<br/>I love this place very much..<br/>Furnishing seating arrangements are very cool...<br/>I visit there at every weekend...

I have tasted worst Veg Biryani of my life. I found stone in that biryani and something unwanted stuff in drink (Lassi). Firstly employee confuse the customer and then this kind of service.. !!!!

Dear eaters. You must be mindful of the money you are paying for food here. Their rolls are worth mentioning. They call it a bhuna chicken roll but you must find the chicken in tge chicken roll and you might be lucky. Opened our CHICKEN ROLL in front of the order taker to show him just what this roll was. His answer was "its pre packed" hence u get 3 tiny pieces in a roll. Shame on you for fooling people n cheating them. Never eating here again thats for sure. Cheat away
Divya Kurian
This place gave me a great treat in form of Biryani which was tasty, delicious, worth the money, had all types of spices and the flavour was like roadway to heaven...It gave raita and one of the gravy which adds to the icing...

If you want to have packed biryani on the food court during a shopping rushed day , you can try their Biryani offerings. I had all of their biryani's from both vegetarian and non vegetarian menu. I liked the way they serve biryani with various distinctive layer in it. I like their chicken biryani the most. However overall I found their combos bit spicy which kills the overall taste of biryani. I found the biryani they offer is average. So if you are food lover and you are trying to taste all the biryani offerings in the city then this can be tried once and yes they do home deliveries too.
Nikhil Jain
Biryani is a dish I've not eaten many times and the few times that I have were at an Aunt's place who'd cook the most delicious biryani (the authentic layered Dum cooked one, not the cheap pulao restaurants try to pass off as biryani). So to say the least when it comes to biryani I have extraordinarily high expectations. Thankfully Viva Hyderabad didn't let me down. I'm a vegetarian and in my opinion to pull off a great veg biryani is a feat in itself. The rice grain – long, soft basmati; the preparation – meticulous; the aroma – fabulous; the quantity – more than enough for 1 person; the taste – intense and bursting with flavour; the result – a sumptuous meal with complete satisfaction.
Prabhash Choudhary
I had a quick bite from here which was a Hyderabadi Biryai. There are many eateries selling Biryanis and claiming it to be Hyderabadi. This one came quite close just that Salan wasnt that spicy. I will give them another chance when I visit that mall next. Service as the norm in food courts was quite prompt. There is nothing else in here to write home about.

16 Oct 14<br/>Visited this place yesterday Lunch time, though this is a food court so No Service...ok, No great ambiance....ok, but why the Biryani with bad smell ????? for sure will not order any more food with this outlet in this food court, kindly don't spoil the name of Hyderabad at least. <br/><br/>take care
Raunaq Singh
Most pathetic !!! Will never order this shit again ! I thought the food would be bearable at the least but we didn't eat a single dish. I felt embarassed infront of my guests who had come from the US as i ordered the appetizers and rolls from here. Asked the servants also to throw everything as the food was old and stale !<br/><br/>The only good thing was the on-time delivery, but that is probably because the food was atleast a WEEK OLD and STALE !! NEVER ORDER THIS SHIT !!
Shivam V. Sharma
Biryani is really very good. But disposable plates are very bad. Improvement in plates is needed.
Sriparna Ghosh Chaudhuri
Well, I'm a Hyderabadi and in the first go I felt their biryani was almost close to hitting the flavours of the authentic biryani. But the later visit wasn't as great as I thought. Nevertheless, it's worth a try to taste the well loved biryani. Also their special kabab is a near imitation of chicken 65 famous in Hyderabad with some changes to the recipe and is a good dish to try out. The price too is hugely reasonable.
Prema Chaudhari
They should drop the name of Hyderabad from their board. They dont even match the taste of local hyderabadi biryani bought from a thela....seriously disappointed....tried both veg and nonveg dum biryani...it was stale, tasteless and baaadddddd
Maloy Chakravorthy
I ordered food from here for dinner and I must say the overall experience was really good. I ordered bhuna chicken kabaab masala, which was really a ghazab. Something different from your regular kabaabs. Their chicken biryani was also good. Good flavor and aroma. And the best thing that I liked about them is their prompt service. They were really quick and on time.
Rohit Dassani (www.RohitDassani.com)
Situated on the Food Court of MGF Metropolis, the Viva Hyderabad promises to serve the flavors of Hyderabadi cuisines. The shop is at the very end of the food court. <br/><br/>Well I ordered a Veg Biryani. The biryani was a mix of 3 distinctive rice, one plain, one with saffron and one with all the flavors. The biryani was good if not great. The flavors of all these rice were unique and the biryani was not spicy at all. The biryani came with a onion and cabbage salad and a salan. The salan was not Hyderabadi at all. In fact the salan was made from some dal but it was good again and something different than what we have regularly.<br/><br/>The verdict:-<br/>Food/Taste - 6/10<br/>Service - 6/10<br/>Value for Money - 7/10<br/>Quality - 6/10<br/>Ambiance - -/10<br/><br/>Good flavors of Biryani but needs a lot of improvement.
