Review Jalsa Lounge - Gurugram (Gurgaon)

Absolutely enjoyed the ambiance and top-notch service at this place. A major plus is the BYOB option. Tried both the sumai kathay (chicken pan-fried bottom momos) and regular chicken momos – they were incredibly delicious but sumai kathay stole the show!

This place is perfect in terms of BYOB(Bring your own beer) since they are offering this so they are compensating for the prices in terms of water and food items. You will not get normal packaged drinking water they will 70rs bottle and you are not allowed to bring outside food even chips also. Ambience was great specially the roof top it's actually pretty nice I have attached the pictures as well. Now coming to the food comparing to the prices which they are charging for food it was not that tasty just okay okay. In terms of service it's great waiter are very helpfull.

The food was good we had ladakhi veg mom which had a good spicy flavor , potato was also stuffed in it and made with wheat flour . it was spicy and the other thing we had was sha-phaley (paneer stuffed) This place offers you food and beverage but if you want to drink alcohol you can get your own and drink it there with food . This is a very good offer for alcohol lovers if they want to take their own drink and enjoy with the food this place is the one . And you can get north Indian Tibetan and north-eastern food delicacies in their menu . Very good option for non vegetarian . But i don't know about the taste as i don't eat non veg. Best to visit in the evening.

Good place to be for a casual gathering... Do not expect ambiance.. The vibes are very happening... You can enjoy snooker as they have two tables for the snooker lovers. If you are in a group and lucky, you can ask for the cabin sitting... The upstairs is lovely... but the sad news is the ratio of 1:1 between male and female needs to be maintained to sit in that zone... Coming to food... Foods are tasty... You can try anything from the menu... I loved the momos.. One of the best momos in Gurgaon....

Amazing food. Accidentally landed there & it was more than worth it. The server Surai guided us through the ladakhi cuisine & we ended up exploring their veg cuisine. It was very tasty. EazyDiner partnership & offers just added icing on the cake. A must try!

Visited the place after a long time and was impressed with the quality of food and renovated ambience. The food was really good and service a bit delayed. Overall a nice BYOB with some good crowd. Area of improvement is the quality of speakers that they are using which seems to be a let down.

It has a very good ambience considering it is a machaan. The atmosphere is good, the staff is well behaved and the food is decent. The music is a bit too loud. They are trying to get rid of the machaan tag I guess and be called as a pub. Overall a good time spent with my friends so no complaints.

I think their menu is vast and has something for everyone.They also allow to bring your own booze. We tried: Chilli Paneer:The paneer crisply fried and tossed in indo-chinese sauce had the perfect blend of spicy and sweet to give an authentic taste. Spring Rolls:The szechuan dipping sauce was to die for.Recommended Jalsa Chicken wings:This dish was an art , a chef’s magic and creativity to combine the best of both worlds to accomplish a dish so flavorful. Paneer fried momos: Excellent size, texture , taste and feels I think it'll be a 4.2 stars for this cafe because anything which is affordable and accessible with such delicious dishes and variety can't get anything less than 4.2.

It's seriously one of the best BYOBs I have found in gurgaon, food is superb especially momos are a must try. It's a Tibetan base restaurant hence you will get many dishes related to that. No dance floor here hence u will love simple drinking wala feel to the core. And yes the music and their taste in music was awesome .... Best among many BYOBs I must say.

I love the food here which is why I come back here again and again. Nobody can make momos like these people. Every good item here is gold and the rich spicy dips are to die for. Visited this place for the first time. The vibe of Jalsa is amazing. The roof top sitting arrangements are really good. It’s spacious compared, airy and the prayers flags hanging gives a very soothing feeling. The service is really quick the staffs are friendly. Came here with friends.Tried their momos.I must say they were overpriced for what we got. Nothing fancy.

I ordered dim sums from Jalsa multiple times over the last few months and must say that the taste and quality was delightful each time. It was also worth the price considering I had Zomato gold 1+1 on food. Now with it being Zomato pro, doesn’t seem worthwhile to pay Rs 600 for 2 dim sums. The value factor has vanished. <br/>P.S- For people who tend to get sick after eating Asian food from outside, I would recommend this place because their food is prepared carefully that even a sensitive stomach can enjoy it.

One good news in all the terrible news we are getting lately is that jalsa is finally open for dine in. I couldn’t be happier to meet with friends (keeping in mind social distancing before someone comes for me 🙈) and eating 🍽 delectable meals. It seems like one of those places where no one is lonely and you can strike up a conversation with a stranger; the environment is that warm.

I’ve eaten at Jalsa multiple times, and I love the Momos. I called for delivery a few days ago and the chicken Kothay were terrible. Maybe they need to work on their delivery. They were very very very bad.

Recently ordered their Ladakhi Steam Momo and pan fried momo (gyoza) and loved both of them. So juicy with a thin skin and well complimenting super hot chutney. Both of those orders cost around 330 bucks (with gold unlock and delivery charges). Super value for money and delicious food! Recommended!

Delivery, dine-in (before the lockdown) and the ambience (again before the lockdown) are unparalleled here. Now that the Unlock has been put into effect, hoping for Jalsa to open real soon. Of course that is keeping in mind all the precautionary measures set by the government.

Putting up in a place like Sohna Road that’s so far away from Jalsa seemed like it would be a nightmare since that used to be our hangout spot before the lockdown. <br/>But Zomato came to the rescue. They were able to bring the spring rolls, noodles, and momos that I crave so much right to my doorstep. The best part about Chinese is ordering it in, getting comfortable, and binge-watching. It’s even better when it’s from Jalsa.

Because of many reasons (many that I don’t want to speak about) pork and other meats aren’t cooked to the optimum level and it was such a pleasant surprise to come across a restaurant that not only was able to cook it right but made the pork so flavourful. I would definitely recommend that you try Jalsa’s pork noodles if you’re looking to experiment. They won’t disappoint. I guarantee you that. ☺️

I normally don't find it necessary to add Zomato reviews however for this place I would definitely break the habit. The reason is the fact I haven't had such amazing food ever before. <br/>The chicken and mutton dishes are so flavourful and considering the unprecedented times we are in, I don't really experiment but I can say without a doubt that the meat is clean and the food, sanitary.

To be completely honest, I didn't see what the hype about this place was but before the lockdown and quarantine scenario, I did visit Jalsa once and was pleasantly surprised. It seemed extremely raw and homey. And the best part about this place is that they have delivered the same to our homes in such unprecedented times. Kudos to them for such good service and delivery!

For a place that caters to four different cuisines and all of them equally authentic and original, Jalsa has done a pretty good job. <br/>And my parents' worries are at bay since I can order from the comfort and safety of my own home rather than step out and dine in. The food is so good and tasty that I don't think I would be ordering Tibetan food from anywhere else. And the delivery standard was also so good. Everyone should order the Sha Phaley and Rhe Coste from here definitely.

I'm such a fan of their chicken momos, but would advice not to order them in, cuz they were stale, and um had a weird taste.

In times like these Jalsa has really been a saviour. Not only does it deliver the food on time but it is packaged so well. Ladakhi is one among the many BYOB hubs of Gurgaon, with minimalistic decor, Tibetan flags and a rooftop ambience adding merry to your intoxicated nights! The food isn't great but you they have a lot of Indian finger food to keep you going. Service is terribly slow, but apart from that no complaints! Would definitely come back here for the vibe it sets!

The best item on the menu for me is the Chicken Kothay momos. It's huge, juicy and absolutely delicious! The price is a bit on the upper side but well worth the taste. I've been to the place also quite a few times and it's a great place to hang out with your friends. The rooftop is a place I usually prefer to go to but on the first floor, there is a pool table also if that's what you prefer. 10/10 would recommend.

This place is something we call if nothing works , let's go ladakhi because of its roof top , food ,service it's concept. Ambience everything is perfect for me. Last but not the least food is super amazing we had fried corns ,their stir fried fish with saute` fish , chicken , mutton are super juicy ,fresh from the grill ,oven they serve best chutney with them. They have variety of dishes to gorge on their noodles ,thupka all good. We all this BYOB in Gurgaon. Kudos ladakhi.

I’m a regular here, and this is the go-to place for ad folks in gurgaon to hang out. Suggestions include pork/mutton shapta, chicken drumsticks, Singapore chicken, chilli pork, pork/mutton/chicken kothay. The staff are super courteous and friendly. Five stars, purely on emotional grounds 😂
