Realising no matter where ever we hop...we should all finally crawl back to the Old School...and we are, tonight. Thanks to Shailinder & team for the hospitality. Good ambiance, good food and great amplification. Look forward to some live music soon.

Where do I start .. had a poor experience yesterday.. we had taken a package for 10.. the food was average and after the first round of snacks we got two baskets full of dry chicken as round two... END..the booze shut down at 11:00( not sure if it was for all or just us) and they said a bottle of old monk would cost us 5100/-�.. the music to start with was below average playing just 2-3 panjabi sings on repeat. Wonder what’s “old school” about it... the place was totally mismanaged .. this place should be considered as the last resort never the first choice unless they get their acts together..

Hi been to this awesome place on 18Sep, experience was very good and we are very delighted,Very quick staff service, all snacks and main course served during party was realy mouth watering. The amazing brew beer and mocktail served were also good.Specially Mr.Kapil Thapa the restaurant manager was very cooperative and understanding in terms of guest service. we are planning to go again soon..

This place is good. It is better when you visit there with group, take deal and pre book your tables. Nice music food and drinks. Although I did not take alcohol, tasted soft drinks. They have good varieties of mocktails.

With drinks, they have there own microbrewery. The whiskey infused beer has really come on top of my list. You could taste the whiskey and you would still know you're drinking beer. Absolutely amazing. <br/><br/>Coming to food, it was a delight again. The mutton seekh kebab was done very nicely and the flavours were on point. The chicken dimsum was nice as well, not my first choice but nice. With the main course, chicken qorma is a no brainer and with the biryani it just couldn't have been better.

It tasted good, but there was nothing jumbo about it. There is nothing great about food in this place . Prices are low for food that is the only good thing about it . We had a thin crust pizza. Pizza was ordinary I will say passable. We, a group of colleagues thought of having dinner together and we went to this place by buying a bunch of deals from the Little app.<br/><br/>The place was half empty and we chose to seat on the terrace seating area.<br/><br/>We ordered beer pitchers which were good and some of the people in our team really liked it.<br/><br/>In Snacks, we ordered lots of them including honey chilli potato, loaded nachos, peri peri peanuts, spring roll, Chilly paneer dry, Bombay bhajiya.<br/><br/>Some of them were really good and some of them were average in taste.<br/><br/>Chill paneer dry and spring roll were the best two dishes which we liked.<br/><br/>The overall bill was very less due to the deals which we had and which is why we find our visit a worth one!

Quite dig the theme they've roped in. Fresh brewed beers just add up a notch to the flavors they serve. Make sure you take a seat on the rooftop to witness their live acts.

Although we didnt plan such awsome get together but it was possible only because of this amazing place..we ordered some food and it was delicious.. The bar area and lobby were nice and open, good place to relax and meet friends.

The place has great rooftop and a lively deck for parties and the another great part is the offers the have on some apps that offer you a great time without worrying about the bill🍾

Went there for a drink.. The service is very slow.. they took 25 mins to mix a pinacolada and a pateriya.. on top of that the drinks were not that great.. the place doesn't offer anything special .. just an average place

So we went to this newly opened place “the old school brew house” at sector 29. We went on a Saturday night and there was this live band organised by the restaurant. Pretty impressive vocalists and guitarists. Good choice of songs which could easily make the crowd forget all their sorrows ;)<br/><br/>Coming to the service and hospitality, it was fine. Nothing great or nothing bad either. Food was also nice. You can find the same quality anywhere nothing great there. <br/><br/>The place stole the show just coz of the live band playing there and of course not to forget the choice of songs :)<br/><br/>All in all, you can give this place a try :)

Very quiet and not so happening place. The quality of the food was decent but on the quantity part very low if you compare them to their respective price. It was an ok ok experience. They seriously need to improve in their service as there was just 2 or 3 tables occupied except us but still it was taking them quite a time to get our order.

This place serves some of the best craft beer I've ever tried in delhi or gurgaon at such a reasonable price. Tried their tandoori chicken which is a forever classic, chicken malai tikka, chilli chicken and chicken salt and pepper, (not recommended because it was little bland as per my taste buds and the quantity of chicken was not sufficient) along with some chilled craft beer. Perfect place to hangout with friends.

I wish I could rate negative to this shitty place. On Saturday Night at 8:00 PM they told me that we don't have a fresh bear in barrels. This all happened after booking a deal from another application. But the story doesn't ends here, In whole area only 8 people were sitting including 4 staff members. Food quality and quantity was horrible after calling the manager 2 times I got the hot food Please note the dishes were also not fresh. Now if I'll come on service the DJ was bad, Manager was stupid. They were giving silly reason for every blunder. <br/><br/>I would suggest go to a Theka instead of Old School. Worst Club !!!!

It was my first visit to old school, it's such a nice 👍 place with good 😊 food 🥘 and ambience, with a wonderful and helpful staff , I specially thank to Mr Ugrasen and Mr Hemant Pandey who r taking care of us last night. And the most attractive and amazing 😉 thing is the music 🎶, played by DJ Moksh, hats 🎩 off 4 his out standing performance.

Average set up like any other. Nothing new or outstanding. The wheat beer was very bad, however the IPA was excellent. Lovely texture and frothyness.<br/>Service was excellent with Captain Girish doing a fantastic job.<br/>Peri Peri peanuts were a nice change from the usuals. <br/>Live band was present but hadn't taken off till 9 pm.<br/>Descent overall experience but nothing to rave about.

And when we reached there we weren't served with what was agreed with the manager. <br/>I understand, not everyone sticks to their words. And food was also okay-ish. <br/>I'd rate ambience 1.5/5. Music was really loud. <br/>Service was fast, probably because we were the only ones sitting there. We went to Old School for the first time on Saturday and liked the ambience, the interiors. They had Sufi live band and Salsa night. Kapil the Manager really was a wonderful person who booked a table for us. Initially we went to rooftop for the live band but it started raining so we rushed down to the 4th floor where Kapil helped us find a good table. The Salsa group were late but we really enjoyed the Sangria which was very good and we ordered chicken bruschetta first and then we had fish. The Salsa group started their dancing and we really loved watching them dance. It was a great evening and we loved this place, the service was great, music was awesome and they had different variety of dishes which we liked instead of the same stuff all the pubs serve in Sector 29 We would definitely go there again.

Pretty decent place to hangout. Weekend service could be better. They have 4 flavor options for craft beer. Liked the Pilsner one - would recommend the same.

Its offers a typical cafe experience with value for money !! The porition sizes are really good !! Must try is the classic margarita pizza which is wood fired and very juicy yet thin !! Also try their pomodoro pasta which i feels is perfectly seasoned unlike other cafes which mostly lack seasoning in their italian dishes !! Honey chilli potato and chilli paneer are average and their portions are a bit less !! But with great service and a chic rooftop , this place surely wins your heart !! It has reasonable rates and freshly brewed beer - which is a plus point for all the beer buds out there !! It gets an 8.5 on 10 !!

I visited this place with my friend. We ordered 2 mocktails..one ws ginger flavoured and another was masala flavoured lemonade type.. and nachos. We also ordered mac n cheese pasta. Everything was so pathetic. Tasteless..the pasta was rather bitter in taste. We had to cancel the pasta order as it was unbearable to eat it. It was so bad. They realy need to work on their food. I am not going to visit this place ever. Thankyou for a shocking experience.

The place is cramped up. The menu is thoroughly confused. It seemed like a European place (the name) but they were also serving Indian food. The food was ok.

Arrived here at 6:30 on Friday with some of my friends group, was surprised to find the place fairly jam packed, <br/><br/>They have seating arrangement inside and outside both, the one down under is quite spacious but quite dark. We all set inside and after sometime shifted on top. We love the ambiance on terrace. Surprisingly the place is cool; they have fixed big mist fans and soundless coolers. And they arrange a good table for us as terrace was amazingly full.<br/><br/>They have wood fire thin crust pizza oven. Just ordered a couple of dishes, and pizza and chilly paneer, the food was well cooked and quantity was sufficient. Food arrived on time.<br/><br/>Some of us order fresh beer and girls order mix drinks (Cocktails) there were a gentleman who personally took our order for drinks. And the service was very quick for drinks. They serve very nice cocktails. I visited this place on 27th May, The ambience was good , the good on the contrary wasn't, we started off with the smoked chicken pizza made on the wood fire oven (the only good thing we had that night ) , the pizza was brilliant , which made us order more expecting the same quality , however... we ordered chilli fish , the fish though cooked well lacked taste and wasn't even seasoned well , which I can understand being from the food and beverage industrt myself that can happen , next we wanted to try the cheese bites , we ordered it , to our surprise they served us McCain potato bites , how could you serve me frozen potato bites and charge anything over 100rs for that. This place is all about disappointing food garnished with pathetic service. <br/>Awadi Dahi ke kababs are very ordinary and JUMBO platters are not jumbo at all.

I just came back from this place. And it was pathetic-everything from service to food to drinks. We got seated on roof top & got our order after 1.5 hour. Can someone imagine. That too half the order,which even wasn't that elaborate-belgium pitcher for 4,caeser salad,peanut & pasta, which all came after 2 hours. Wonder why we kept seated over there,well we were busy in catch-up but still being a host, it was damn embarrassing to keep our guests waiting for even water. Staff is not equipped at all to serve the crowd. They don't understand the service thing, the place's scenario. They didn't even served water. Even after asking for it, got 1 glass for 4 people. What else can be expected out of them. People you need to understand your position in this city. I've had the most terrible experience that I won't even come to "29" for a while. Yours is not even an option. Get yourself braced up.

My visit to this places happened when half of sector 29 was shut down. We friends and colleagues decides to visit this place, as this was the only place which was very less crowded.<br/>We opted for the roof as it was not as hot then.<br/><br/>The whole experience was average and underwhelming. We had not ordered much food, having had some bad experience with the honey chilly potato. It was too sweet to our liking. We then ordered cheese nachos, which were soggy and the cheese had really become one large single piece of mountain. It tasted a little sour too.<br/>French Fries were okay.<br/><br/>The only good thing was their portion size, which might have seemed to be so large because we couldnt completely eat any of their dish.<br/>The place becomes happening post 10pm.<br/><br/>All power to the team to try and make it a better place as the Gurgaon-walas are always in search of new places and if rhsy don't raise their standards then they will have a significantly low repeat rate of customers revisiting​.

Just plain bad. Went for sufi nights. That didn't take place and the reason given was rain. Long island iced teas were too sweet. Beer tasters kept us off the tap. The photographer was too excited and kept clicking pictures and seemed overly anxious to click close ups of female members of our group. Even when the food was served he kept trying to capture those perfect gourmet food moments, all he got though were pictures of me with food stuck on my beard. Food was horrible. Chicken seemed almost synthetic. The only saving grace were nachos which I used to mask the taste of crap I had here.

It was too good.<br/>●Peri Peri peanuts: Quite a good chat but that was what I was not expecting. There was no flavour of the peri peri chillies as it was 5 months back. It was good but it was not having the essence which it had earlier.<br/>●Chicken espedata: This is the dish which I have already had a lot of times. This is just chicken tikka served which a mayonnaise sauce. Totally a no-no dish! This was bland. No taste at all.<br/>●Dahi ke kebab: This was truly divine. Scrumptious is the word. It was fantastic! No complaints about this.<br/>●Club high Veg Sandwich: This was just like a homemade sandwich with cucumber, lettuce and tomatoes. Dressed with cheese and mayonnaise.<br/>They have were small serving portions and what they serve is also not up to the mark. Keep working guys. There is a stiff competition out there!<br/><br/>Old school has a very catchy ambience!<br/>We had wheat beer, it was amazing!<br/>We had:<br/>●Peri peri chicken : It was spicy and tender! It was a very nice appetiser!<br/>●Peanut chaat : Onions, tomatoes and capsicum with peanuts! Heart melting snack!<br/>Portions were too small but it was a wonderful experience in all!

Visited with my friends last Friday. It's a new outlet in sector 29 but still it was packed, luckily we got the table. Server was very polite. We got the drinks on time.food was decent. They have best fresh beer in town. <br/>Not like others sweet beers . awesome music on terrace. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

Exciting name...and so is the decor. However in this highly competitive Sector 29 GGN market, this place is yet another littttttle above average. Firstly, with other place have an elaborated offering of 4-6 beers, they only have 2 - Dark and Ale. Not sure if this is a downside/ up but for us it was the definitely the down :( <br/> <br/>We were looking for a relatively quite place for some chit-chats and this place had it all until 10pm which suited us. Taking about the beers - the dark is a great brew up their sleeves and had a tinch of cofee right at the end but please note it will make you feel a little heavy next morning (I'm not taking about the hangover). Food is ok sorts and on the spicy side..chilly chicken and peri peri pizza was part of our bill. The folks who are looking for quantity in food it will dissapoint you...they were also smart to reduce the diameter of the pizza as well but no compromise on the taste. 2 picthers of dark beer, pizza and chilly chicken will cost somewhere around 2.5-3k. Don't forget to try the terrace space, its much better with mist fans and if weather is your friend on the day. All in all a tick in the box for sec 29.

I seriously wanted to give 0 rating to this place. We had a party and it was a biggest mistake to book this place. We were group of 25-30 people and they were not able to manage this much group. <br/><br/>Beer quality: 1/5<br/>Service: 0/5 <br/>I have to call manager 20 times to get the snacks. In 3 hours window of drinks they were able to provide snacks just 2 times. <br/>Food Quality: 0/5<br/>Reason: 2 of my colleagues were admitted to hospital due to food poisoning. So its up to you guys if u want to risk yourself.<br/><br/>There are many places in sector 29 which are far far better than this place. I think they don't deserve to be in sector 29 market.<br/>I will suggest everyone don't pick up this place even if its the only option.<br/><br/><br/><br/>

This place is a real hidden gem. The rooftop is amazing! The service is really good too but above all the food is mind blowing and the beer is really good. We ordered prawns, chicken tikka, fries (the star of the show), stuffed mushrooms and margherita pizza. The only thing I didn't like was a lot of the things on the menu were not available which was a little disappointing. The overall experience was amazing. I look forward to trying mozzarella filled jalapenos the next time and chicken wings too!

It's a little expensive though but worth it. <br/>The food quantity served is really good. new brew house in town.. i was just doing club hopping as sector 29 is full of brew houses now and almost everything looks the same.. wanted to try this as its new but my experience was okay there is no feel like you are in old school in terms of interiors... food was ok but i like ther beer. .. ordered chicken nuggets, paneer tikka and masala peanuts, out of which i only like peanut masala- it was tangy, full of masala and spicy.. loved it. But my non veggie friends did not liked chicken nuggets... paneer tikka was good but not that great. <br/><br/>Good place but needs to get better in terms of interiors and food.. all n all i had a good experience as its a new brewery...!! <br/><br/>all the best ..<br/><br/>Cheers..!! :)

This was just what we asked for. The brewed beer was tasty and starters were lip smacking. Staff were courteous and service is prompt. Overall a top class experience. We were seated on roof top and they had installed a large projector for IPL match which I felt was wonderful. The beer was undoubtedly better than the adjacent brewery. A great time spent. Also they click pics which are updated in there fb page the next day! Absolutely recommend this place to all. Must visit!!

Well, when I entered the place I had high expectations as they have a nice ambience. However, the service was not that great. They did not have many items on the menu including iced teas so our choices were really limited. Beyond that the food was pretty average. And please do not order the veg sizzler!

What's the benefit of being a rooftop in Sector 29? You feel right on top of the world, thats what it feels like. In a place thats so compact and every place is vying for space where the real estate costs shoot up exponentially per square foot, having a terrace is like a miracle. The views in the evening are beautiful and imagine sipping on your beer in this setting. I truly enjoyed it here, at least the roof top. <br/><br/>The Idea : <br/>The connoisseur here really wants you to enjoy flavors and ale from yester year, when beer was carried along from place A to place B in casks and ale tasted like ale and not adulterated content. To ensure such antiquity is maintained the brewmaster is a South African whose forefather was a german brewmaster, and it doesn't surprise me because the beer here is worth it. <br/><br/>Ambiance : 4.5/5 - I love how the terrace has been done up. <br/><br/>On on side of the terrace you can watch the sun set over the polluted city skyline and you can see the hub that thrives at the center of sector 29. On the other end is a clear are with a  view of the waterpark and the metro. Its an all around picturesque rooftop. The pizza oven is placed on the top and top can see your pizza being cooked. The bar is placed on both the levels but the one above is better with those lovely copper taps dispensing brilliant beer. The chairs are wooden and with a huge screen in the center of the brick wall you can watch your favorite IPL matches or your favorite music video. The music may or may not be to your liking.<br/><br/>If you go here, visit the terrace. <br/><br/>Beer : 4.5/5 - The beer over here gets a huge thumbs up.<br/><br/>Very seldom do I say this but every single flavor of beer is good. My personal favorites are the dark and the wheat.<br/><br/>I had loads and loads of the dark ale, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was light and not overpowering on my palate.<br/><br/>Food : 2.5/5 - This is where these guys lose out. The food here is not abysmal but its not good either. There are a few good elements, and you can try these out :<br/><br/>† The Pizzas : 3.5/5  - the construction of the oven is such that it churns out brilliant thin crust pizzas, that make you want more and more. It doesn't get too heavy even when you sip your beer with it. Try the seafood ones, they are good. They have a live seafood counter too for the same. The presentation on a wood log is nice.<br/><br/>The toppings are sparse and limited for a guy like me, and to some extent chariness is okay, but after a point its burnt. <br/><br/>† The lamb : 3/5 - the lamb was cooked well and as a whole dish was sizable and filling. I found the lamb a tad bit overcooked however.<br/><br/>† Lamb kebbeh - 3/5 : the bread was too dry and the mayo was missing for me. This needed to be juicy and it wasn't.<br/><br/>† Tomato Bruschetta : 4.5/5 - a brillant appetizer as whole, it looks good and tastes even better.<br/><br/>† Oriental stuff - 3/5 : this tasted okay, but not so memorable. <br/><br/>† The prawns - 3.5/5 : they looked really good but i dint understand the logic of serving them with masked potatoes. Extremely bad service !!! Had a miserable time dealing with d guys waiting our table, the least they could do is apologise for getting wrong orders instead of throwing a bad attitude.

Visited this place on the day of its launch. As it was a launch party so this place was quite crowded. <br/>It has an indoor and a terrace sitting. <br/>We managed to take a table at the terrace. <br/>Waiter managed to reach us after half an hour. (I am not kidding) <br/>We placed our order and waited for our pizza and fries for 1.5 hours. ( I am again not kidding) <br/>So basically by then it was 2 hours that we were sitting therr without the food. We managed to grab the beer mugs for us from the bar. <br/>So while we were waiting for the food we had sip of our beer. <br/>Beer was okaish.<br/>Food was decent.<br/>Cocktails were too strong. Couldn't take the second sip. <br/>In dessert I had browine with ice cream. Browine was toooo hard. It was like a rock in my plate. <br/>So basically I do not recommend this place.

The best beer I had so far in Gurgaon.. it's perfectly hoppy, same as I had in Germany... otherwise you get sweet beers in Gurgaon😂. Pizzas were so good , chicken Espetada was awesome, love there arrangement of placing one waiter on every 2 tables,we were feeling like v.i.p., ambience was so cool... loved the place, coming here again over weekend with friends.

We had our Office party last Wednesday with high hopes from this place which unfortunately turned out to be the worst experience. Ambiance just average and the service was poor. They were not able able to handle a small group of 35-40 ppl. At the start food service was ok however after an hour it got worst and we had to follow up with the floor manager again and again which showed their unprofessional-ism and incapability. <br/><br/>It was just a huge mistake.<br/><br/>Won't recommend

Went to this place yesterday. Giving 1 star b'coz they provide one of the worst service. For every order we have to remind them multiple time. They simply take the crowd but they don't hv staff to serve. Also beer quality is not up to mark if u compare with other microbreweries in the town.

Good Music, Good food and kickass rooftop. With one the biggest screens in town IPL was fun here with my buddies.  Beer is great! They have lived up to their name with cool vibes of Old School feel. Give it a try :)

Went to office party last Wednesday. Very bad experience very very. I would suggest corporate offices not to organise any party or get-together here.<br/>Details :- food was not there .We were almost dead saying please bring some.food on this table .. but staff was super busy with ala karte they were serving them only as if we have not paid them a penny. Chutiya sale.. best thing was bar tender guy was very good and responsible .. I will give him 10/10 very good bro .. till 10 we were there because of this and also photographer guy he was also good as he kept us busy in framing pics. unfortunately space .. Ambience.. Food quality.. food staff .. overtook your rating.. one by one our office people will write reviews .. guys please shut it down as I don't think you have else option left

The Old School Brew House got everything right. Great beer, yumm food, a nice ambience that really makes it live up to this "old school" concept. Brick walls, comfy vintage couches, colourful posters - this place gets 5 stars just for the ambience. <br/><br/>An amazing addition to Sector 29, one I'd love to visit again and again.

Really good ambience and top-notch brewed wheat beer. Had a great time truly Old School style. This place fills you with nostalgia of good ole days! And the music is the best compared to a lot other pubs in sector 29.

So our group decided to do a reunion party and we landed at sector 29. As soon as we saw the name The Old School Brewhouse we were curious to try out the place. The place is charming with the best music in the area and a huge rooftop. The service was great and so was the 🍺 beer! We went for some ongoing promotions and weren't disappointed at all. There was a Salsa night going on that day and it was the best i have attended lately..amazing DJ and crowd. The food was also good we tried the Dips and Chips which came with a variety of dips and pita breads along with veggie finger fries. The terrace also boasts of a live pizza counter offering some tempting wood-fired pizzas. Sure to visit again.

Don't waste your time. Lot of better places to go.<br/>Extremely slow service. So many servers but busy without any customer. Need to improve significantly.
