Review Myung Ga - Gurugram (Gurgaon)

The best bibimbab and gimbap I've tried so far. Certainly better than the ones in MKT. Staff is cordial. Portions are more than enough. Overall one can definitely have a quite, cosy and delicious meal here.

I loved the food and service. Atmosphere is bit dull and little expensive is what I felt. A single person can easily eat dishes worth 1k.

Went to this place for the 2nd time and loved everything about it. I would recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for authentic Korean food at reasonable prices. They even have separate dining rooms. Food - 8/10 Ambience - 8/10 Service - 8/10 (Quick and Courteous) Everything we had (Grilled Pork Belly, Bibimguksu and Chicken Kimchi Mandu) tasted amazing and fulfilling. Would definitely visit this place again!

On every trip to Gurgaon, we make a beeline to the Korean and Japanese restaurants that dish up delicious and authentic fare. The hub of all the food activity is South Point Mall. This was our second visit to Bibimbap and the experience was consistent with the initial visit. Service was efficient, the Korean starters were excellent and the kimchi deserves a special mention, food was served quickly, and was very good. This time around we ordered a bimbbap and a fried chicken dish. The fried chicken was a revelation. I could have paired it with beer and gone on all day. Note that the portions are very large and each of these dishes would have been a full lunch for a party of two moderately sized people. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. Must visit if you are in the area!

Extremely satisfied with my craving for Korean food. 😊 Visited the restaurant with my nephew and just loved it. * Food was delicious - we ordered Korean fried chicken in sweet and sour sauce + tuna kimbaab. Both dishes were just excellent. The complementary side dishes were good too. * restaurant was absolutely clean and comfortable * Staff was nice and was taking care of necessary Covid safety guidelines (mask + sanitizer) * Cost is a bit more which is ok as you are getting a very different cuisine I wish they serve alcohol (beer and soju) in future 😊 I will be visiting the restaurant again.

Good taste and quantity that are matched the prices. A place for easy day when you are lazy to dress up. The restaurant is quite compact. You can expect to visit here for the food not for the vibes.

I love korean cuisine and any restaurant that serves korean food would be in my must visit place. The Bibimbab is authentic korean restaurant with humble staff and amazing food. Even though the restaurant is not quite big enough but the food makes up to that. But what's even more amazing is that they have private rooms for dinning. So if you want you space, you can ask the staff for private room. We had their korean hot dog, kimchi egg rice, honey chicken, which tasted heavenly. I Loved the hot dog and kimchi egg rice as kimchi is my favorite thing. But honey chicken(sweet & sour) was kind of very sweet for us, so I will give 5/10 to it. Otherwise it would be perfect for someone with sweet pallate. As the saying goes Honey chicken with beakseju will always taste amazing. Korean lovers will understand this 😅 I am definitely going their again and would recommend you to go their as well.

Good place to try Korean cuisine at a budget friendly rate

I had eaten the ko terng or ku ey= in English is call fry fish 😂 with steam rice which is for one person , cost 680₹ only its very cheap, and I love their side dishes which is free 4 types of sides dishes, and their environment quite places , Healthy food every dishes is has enough calories nutritions through the ends. it is very helpful for weight management and fulfill certified Tess best , thankful to the chef, Hygienic, friendly staff Good for individual good for a team work, and very good for kids as a parent bring in kids , notes, non-veg and veg is available, thanks

Loved the place and the taste. Owner is Korean I guess and therefore the taste is close to authentic. Prices are competitive, not dirt cheap but also not super costly. All other options in the city are much costlier and they all feel obnoxious. This place is simple, unassuming, and it feels as if you’ve simply walked into a plain restaurant in Korea itself. You would feel at ease and would be able to enjoy your food in peace.

No nonsense good food. Simple ambience, simple service. Reasonable prices. Generous portions. Great flavour. Loved it.

Went to the restaurant for lunch. It was nearly empty at 1pm. The food was tasty and fresh, but I've had better Korean cuisine in gurgaon. The service was quick and efficient. The atmosphere was average at best. Overall a good experience, but not the best.

Always good foods!

Located inside the South point mall, this compact korean restaurant does justice to its name. We really enjoyed their soup dumplings that had a nice texture with juicy fillings as much as we relished the bibimbap! It has this homely feelings to its dishes which makes me want to keep going back and try other items on their extensively elaborate menu.

Loved the food, excellent service and very friendly place. This is now our favourite Korean food joint.

The titular bibimbap is absolutely delicious: we ordered the bulgogi version, which came packed with veggies. You can add a gochuchang-base sauce and other seasonings to your liking. The Jjampong was delightful: spicy, tangy, enough for 3 people. The noodles were nice and firm. My only complaint would be that the quantity of meat and seafood in the two dishes we ordered was very little. For a massive bowl of noodles, we received 4 pieces of seafood.

This is sheer paradise in your mouth. Authentic food and the service is as quick as a blink of an eye. Must try: all kinds of fried chicken, bibimbap, guksu, stir fried glass noodle . Oh my God! It's amazing.

Good Korean food. Bibimbab sometimes romanized as bi bim bap or bi bim bop, is a Korean rice dish. The term "bibim" means mixing various ingredients, while the "bap" noun refers to rice. Bibimbap is served as a bowl of warm white rice topped with namul or kimchi and gochujang, soy sauce, or doenjang

We ordered tuna gimbap and chicken bibimbab. The delivery took longer than expected and when it arrived there was no cutlery provided. The tuna gimbap was a little off taste but the bibimbap was super tasty. For sides we were given kimchi, baby potatoes in sweet soya sauce, salad and picked chillies. All were good.

There is a big difference between Dine In and Delivery. I think this place is a dine in place who have recently started delivering. I ordered Chicken Pajeon, Dak Bokkeum and Kimchi Bokkeum Bap.
The fried rice tasted decent, the chicken pancakes were also nice. The Dak Bokkeum though was not upto the mark.
The major problem is the pricing. Fried Rice for 550₹, the other dishes for 800₹ each was a bit too pricey for this kind of food and packaging.
Decent food but not value for money.

From the welcome to the sitting! It was an extremely cosy outlet!

With so many Korean food options your mind does tend to wander!

Thankfully we contained with maki rolls & bulgogi!

The mako rolls were really nice , large :) so that you have your full!

But the show stopper was the bulgogi, with right mix of indgredient! Authentic and tasty to the core!
The jasmine/Tulsi water gave us company while we chowed down everything!

Super homey and comfortable place. They serve some yummy bibimbab, noodle bowls and more at surprisingly affordable prices. The team is very helpful with people trying bibimbab for the first time.
Kimchi chicken dumplings could be better though
Urvashi Chawla
Excellent kimbap! I wish I had more time to stay for the bibimbab! Definitely going to go back again for that. The food was delectably good! Delicious! Loved it! Very good waiting staff at the restaurant aswell!

A very cosy place which serves authentic Korean cuisine. Tried the kimchi dumpling and chicken Tuna Bibimbap both the dishes were delicious.
The staff was quick and courteous.

It's a cute looking place on second floor of South point mall. Firstly, go have a seat and enjoy the tea and then order.

We tried Gimbap (dried seaweed rolls) and Bulgogi. Bulgogi is a bowl with sticky rice with seasoned vegetables and pork served with chilli paste sauce. I would suggest you to take there help to make it. Gimbap was sushi with chicken in it. FYI, they don't serve soy sauce and wasabi with it. You can ask of the other soy sauce which comes with sesame seeds for Bibimbap bowl. They even serve seasonal vegetables appetizers with food.
Taste is authentic and it's amazing.

Must must try this.

Yummy korea food, also want to eat here , lovely simple sober ambience, staff is poilte, food is good with few selected drinks, even you get rice beer here.
Sulekha Sonal
Calm ambience and polite staff. Here you can enjoy your food and company of your friends without any loud interrupting music. We ordered Veg Gimbap and Non Veg Bibimbab. Bibimbap tasted a bit different than what I had tasted before. But overall, both the dishes tasted really good.

I love this place so much! One the most authentic Korean restaurant I’ve ever been to. The workers were polite and the service was prompt and neat. Would definitely go there again.
Cosy ambience and delicious food. Had ordered bibimbap and tuna sushi. Those were very tasty and filling. Bibimbap was this dark dense sensational surprise that will make you smile with its elements. Welcome was different and refreshing. Must go for authentic Korean food.

With South point Mall sprouting Korean BBQ joints it was high time we had a taste of the Korean speciality.

Bibimbab is a big bowl of crispy onion garlic, chicken rice noodles n veggies in unique flavors which are common for Indian Chinese food lovers. The staff development and helped us mix the food properly as it was with chopsticks. A definite try.

I am going to go ahead and give this a 4 star only for the food.

As my fellow reviewers have said, this is located on the second floor of the South Point Mall. This is indeed a nondescript little outlet, with some rather sad decor. The plates are plastic, and I don't like this, because the prices are not low. This is indeed pricey!

We had a chicken bibimbap and a kimchi dimsum platter. These were very good. There are very few people dining there, and this can be scary, because it begs the question - is the food fresh? However, we survived, and this is good.

They will need to invest in plates and decor if they are to grow and become popular. the food is good

Food is absolutely authentic and delicious. Love the vegetarian bibimbab and the side dishes ie..kimchi. And they are not stingy with it. They’ll refill it for you if you want more. Definitely worth a try.

The Bibimbab is located on the second floor of the mall and is a very nondescript little outlet. But step in and the unmistakable aroma of Korean food hits you, taking you back to whatever South East Asian country you had your first rendezvous with kimchi in. It's also the least expensive Korean outlet in the mall and generally in the city imo.

We had the Japchae (Glass Noodles) which was excellent and a huge huge serving. Easy for three people to share. The Dakkgangjeoung (Korean fried chicken) was equally generous and simply delicious. The Kimbap (Tuna sushi) was good. Not the best sushi I've had, but it can satisfy your cravings. Pretty cheap at 360 for 12 pieces too.

Do avoid their Kimchimandu (Dimsums). Dry chicken and absolutely no flavour.

All of this led to a bill of 2200 AI. I think that's an acceptable splurge for authentic Korean food in the middle of Gurgaon.
Asavarisharma19
We ordered the fried chicken dumplings, Korean soup noodles with dumplings and a chicken bibimbap. They were all good flavourful dishes. The accompaniments provided with the dishes were also interesting and yummy - like pickled bottlegourd, dried and pickled chilly, lotus stem and some picked cabbage (I️ think?) If you’re up for Korean food you will love it. My pallette required a little bit more adjustment than usual - couldn’t handle the consistent presence of tiny pieces of seaweed in the bibimbap (which was by the way, a very interesting dish). However, my sister loved the dish in its entirety.

well i was wanting to try korean cuisine for a long time now....this was the day...there was cold brewed green tea in the beginning....

the grilled pork belly was nice but a tad dry...the fried chicken was the star....tender juicy pieces of chicken covered with a batter that had hint of garlic and other mild spices....

overall nice change...

My niece who's in love with Korean culture is around and hence we had to have a Korean lunch.. though she's familiar with the food but it was a completely new thing for me.. nice small cozy place on the 2nd floor of south point mall serving some authentic Korean food.. the mandulamyeon ... ramen and dumplings in a soup was amazing and chickenbokum... chicken fried rice with soup was also quite yum !! And their sides.. the peanuts.. the kimchi.. something made of papaya and everything was just wonderful..
I agree to another reviewer about the use of plastic for serving but maybe that's how it's done in Korea !!

I've tried the tteokpokki and samgyeopsal here and are both relatively good even though the samgyeopsal is overpriced compared to other Korean restaurants. The staffs require better training.
Bobin
The food here was good, even very good but not good enough to justify the shoddy seating and cutlery. At that price point, I don’t expect to served in plastic plates.

Completely worth going there. The place is small and looks quite authentic. Normally the local Koreans go and eat there. Food is authentic and fabulous.
Vandhna Babu
I love this place. Even though I am a vegetarian but I love this place. Also it has beer. The staff is super polite. Of course order the bibimbap. The veg version is awesome as well. Everyone should go to this gem in south point mall. Yummy food

We just happened to come across this small 14 seater Korean restaurant in Southpoint Mall, while on our way to grab some Greek food. I thought the hubby looked excited to try out Korean and he assumed the same for me and quite unwittingly we ended up eating here instead.

We ordered the Chicken Kimchi Dumplings, the Tuna GimBap, and two Bibimbaps. As soon as the order was placed, some peanuts in soy, khimchi, lettuce and cucumbers reached our table in true Korean style. I love being able to munch on something as I wait for my order because I'm invariably starving by the time I get to a restaurant. The khimchi was great and that's always a good start. The dumplings were plump, well stuffed and yum. The Tuna GimBap was above average and the sizzling Bibimbaps were delicious. The server was very attentive and flew to our rescue when she realised we weren't mixing the Bibimbaps right.

I'd definitely visit again to try the pork belly this time!

So while just roaming around the Mall, I noticed this small eatery named bibimbap, right across the escalator.

Trying Korean food had been on my Wishlist for a long time, so without further a do, I entered this small cafe. The menu isn't very vast and the seating is basic, but what's not compromised upon is the food. I tried the Bibimbap dish for the first time and it bowled me over.

If ever you are willing to try some tasty Korean Food without burning a whole in your pocket, this is the place to be at. No frills, simple service, authentic, tasty and a quick meal.

Puneet Saini and I found our selves in the Golf course road area wanting to try something a bit out of the ordinary. We stumbled across this restaurant as it is particularly hard to find and is tucked away on the 2nd floor of South Point mall.

The menu is typically Korean and being a vegetarian it is particularly hard to Navigate.

We settled on a veg Japche which are typical Korean Translucent noodles tossed with Veggies and there namesake dish a veg Bibimbab..

There are a few other options, but options are limited!

The food was fantastic, the Japche was beautifully flavoured and the Bibimbab had lovely crunchy rice at the bottom!

Totally recommend it.

We visited Myung Ga to continue our experience of veg korean food after our recent trip to South Korea. We order for Veg Bibimbap and Pajeon (Green onion pancake). Absolutely delicious and satisfying meal. the service was top quality as the staff was very attentive. will be visiting this place more often... thank you for a good experience

Loved the bibimbab and kimchi rice! So well made and so authentic. Kimchi and the peanut with soy condiment was great! We also got the chicken with garlic sauce which was absolutely yum.
I absolutely love the food here. The Ddoekbokki is an absolute treat. Loved the kimchi fried rice and the ramyeon. Would go there again umpteen times.

Hospitality. At the top. Small cosy place and food to die for. Bit expensive but worth it.

I ordered the Shrimp fried rice and they happily served Kimchi, sweet nuts and sweet potato on the side.

Excellent place to have a quiet dinner.

Awesome awesome awesome! You must eat here! The kapung a prawn & octopus noodle soup meal was amazing. The fried chicken with rice was all good! If your into Korean it's authentic flavours are a boon. If ur just in for new experiences ask for a recommendation. I try to find interesting choice & then ask allot of questions.

Well, if you like Gung (sorry for being so judgemental) this is not up there. The rice is not the sticky one and the mandu tasted like roadside momos. But as in delhi, the tandoori always saves the meal , kimchi does it to Korean food.
Kimchi I love you.
Myung Ga , let's do it a lil more Gangnam Style.

Perfect quite place for a date. The girls are from Mizoram but the food is quite good and authentically Korean. I'm a vegetarian and I really enjoyed this place which had any vegetarian options.
Try the pajeon (green onion pancakes) tastes a little like uttapam but very full filling.
And the sundubujigae (soft tofu stew) to which was my girlfriends favourite dish and very spicy and tasty.
And dolsot bibimbap (hot stone pot rice) very tasty with sea weed essence and must be eaten with the stew.
Overall with a welcoming jasmine cold tea this place was fantastic. Must come again and it's very affordable which is the best part.

A very good option for East Asian cuisine lovers, and for Korean food lovers in particular.
This is the second time we've been here, and I must recommend the bibimbab
Very tasty and not too expensive ( they give big portions).

Hidden in an alley in South point mall this cozy restaurant serves authentic Korean food. The bulgogui is delicious and it's a dish that just makes you feel better. Try the gala jeon a very original potato pancake. Been there twice and always saw Korean people eating there which is always a plus.
