A very authentic experience at a reasonable price. The hot pot was really tasty and the serving sizes for the meat and vegetables was also generous. The staff were helpful and gave good recommendations. This place is also frequented by Chinese and Japanese locals staying in the area so that can add to the credibility of the restaurant. Last order is at 10:15 PM.

Now when one gets to eat at a place, much recommended by another Chef, who has no vested interest here, one presumes that there has to be something exceptional about the food for sure, if not everything about the place. So here we were, 4 of us, looking to experience one good Chinese meal and boy we weren’t disappointed at all. If this not-so-large place in the Central Plaza Mall has anything right going for it that night, it was just the food. Delicious stuff, very good portion size and that’s about it. An electricity glitch/trip initiated our discomfort and the flustered staff couldn’t keep up with the service too. Considering that only two tables were taken at 10pm on a Saturday, not a good first impression. But the food was so so good that I am definitely going to order for home delivery at the earliest.

Food is really authentic. Highly recommended. I am addicted to their Chicken soup for now. As many have stated this one is authentic Chinese. Personally I don't like all of their dishes but some of them are out of the world. Their mutton soup is tasty and they have a ton of different essence/flavors you can add and enjoy it. The soup can actually feed 4. I frequently visit them. My go to Chinese Restaurant FTW!

Excellent authentic Chinese food must go for everyone don't miss it but mind it , it's a small place and it's purely authentic Chinese not Indian type . Superb

Have visited two times now on a recommendation by a very close friend . This place will takes you straight to China Town's food joint in gurgaon. Food quality is great, true to the Chinese flavors. Loved the overall experience both time. Had some delay in service for the second visit but that's what you expect when the restaurant is busy. So I see that as a good sign.

I went there on recommendation. I had tofu and chicken soup on my first day there. They way of presenting, taste and quantity of food is so good that's take you to China. Mix nationalities smiles all over the restaurant with laugh and talk always attract me to go again and again.

Good hot pot services but the owners prefer Chinese groups and dissuade India small group people. But they serve authentic Chinese hotpot. Good quality food.

It's good place,good vibes, good music. I would request you to take better care of the hospitality and servers who take orders. I was there at last night and I had to pay the bill for an extra item because it was a friend's birthday and I was not in a mood to get into some argument. But that doesn't mean I'll pay extra for an order which I didn't place and didn't eat. And after I asked the server to correct the bill, he started sharing his problems with the kitchen staff and the manager that they will deduct the payment from his salary and when I asked him to make me talk to the manager, he didn't want me to talk because that would cost him something. I could surely figure out an agony on his face. So I ended up paying some 400 extra which I shouldn't have. Please improve on such things

Ambiance and crowd is amazing but the Food is not great...good place to party with less budget..

Coz the placed order took an hour to actually come to the table. When contacted the kitchen, got to know that the waiter never placed it. Ambiance is good Crowd is good But what's the need when we can't get the food in a restaurant

Highly disappointed with today’s order of kung pao chicken, either the chef has changed or they ran out of ingredients in this lockdown era!! Very bad experience today. Post tasting the food I called them twice but no one bothers to answer too!

But these are not authentic Chinese – they are – what is known as Indianised Chinese.<br/>Tired of having these, we decided to try Friends Restaurant which we gathered serves authentic Chinese food.<br/>Situated in ground floor of Central Plaza mall, the two levelled restaurant has a basic homely decor and has a private dining space on the second level. We observed that most of the guests were foreigners and seemed to be enjoying their meal.<br/>Going through the menu, we were a little surprised at the prices – they seemed quite expensive and sadly there were no desserts! We ordered a Hot and Sour soup, Yangzhou fried rice and Country style fried pork with pepper.<br/>To be honest, I was a bit disappointed with the service. Normally – the soup is given first, then the mains. Here, it was the opposite. We received the Pork dish first followed by the fried rice. And then the soup. The portion of soup was huge almost for 4! The taste though was amazing. A perfect balance of spice, sweet and sour flavours, with different vegetables, black fungus & shiitake mushrooms. <br/>Keeping the soup aside for the time being, we served ourselves the Pork Fry with the fried rice. The pork was loaded with chillies but these did not have the heat you would expect, instead it gave a unique flavour to the whole dish. The fried rice was mild with eggs, prawns among other vegetables. The portion of these two was perfect for us and we enjoyed them both.<br/>An observation, the best selling item was the hot pot which quite a few guests dining there had ordered. They also serve beer by the bottle. <br/>I definitely recommend this place for authentic, good Chinese food and a quiet dinner with family and friends.

We went there a couple of weeks back and while the restaurant looks authentic, the food is a hit and miss. Prices are expensive. The dumplings were a huge disappointment...it had a very strange flavor to it; I just don’t think the ingredients were checked and measured. Mapo tofu had a lot of corn starch and it just left a bitter taste in my mouth. Anyway, would not visit again unless new chefs are hired.

Amazing food , a must try for every chinese food lover. Dont forget to reserve your table. Order their crushed cucumer preparation, it goes well with every dish.

This is the first time I ordered from Peng You Quan - I have had food from the new Chinese restaurants in Gurgaon which have a similar Szechuan or Sichuan cuisine - different from the Cantonese we are used to in India. While it is way better than the Chinjabi food we usually get in NCR, Peng You Quan disappointed me. The Yungzhow fried rice had two pieces of prawn and maybe ten bits of eggs and had very little flavour. The Country Style Pork tasted ok but the pork was too tough and the chilli chicken were doused in oil and red chilli - and didn't have the crispiness and sharpness usually associated with this dish. Overall, I will stick to Jin Quiao or Ruja.

This is the best Chinese food I have had in the NCR. Maybe it’s the best food I have had in the NCR. Portions were humongous, the taste was exceptional and the produce was fresh. What else does one desire from an eatery. <br/>Phenomenal doesn’t cut it. <br/>Going back for the chili pork and noodles.

An experience like this is very rare in Delhi-NCR. Simply put, Peng You Quan is the most interesting Chinese restaurant that I have visited in Delhi-NCR. Its food is incredibly authentic and it&rsquo;s the type of food that you can only get here. We ordered Dimsums (Chicken), Pork Legs and a rice dish. Their dimsums are the best that I&rsquo;ve ever had, hands down.<br/><br/>Definitely worth a visit if you&rsquo;re looking for some really authentic Chinese food.

Well this place is pretty awesome if you are looking for some authentic Chinese food. You are taken by an overwhelming fragrance of Chinese food the second you step into the restaurant.<br/><br/>The staff was friendly and they weren't our beck and call call. We were seated in a private room which bore the aesthetics of a traditional Chinese dining booth. It was a close affair and we were given our privacy. At the same time, it overlooked the restaraunt below.<br/><br/>The food was different. The portions were massive as I have shared in the photos below. There was no fusion of flavourd. Everything right from the starters to the main course was uniquely not Indian Chinese. The only thing Indian about this whole experience was the beer and us.<br/><br/>Do take out some time and give it a try.

If you love hotpot and love spicy food, this is the place for you. You get to chose the base, spicy or not spice or both. The menu was understandable and also comes with picturea so you know what you are expecting (for a person like me who goes for looks 🙈).

I am so glad that I accidentally discovered this place when I went to Central Plaza to run an errand. A restaurant which doesn't explicitly promotes itself but undoubtedly offers the most authentic Chinese food. If you are a meat lover, this place is for you. I have tried various items on the list but nothing beats the hot pot. Please maintain the quality and goodness that you offer right now.

A no frills - authentic Chinese restaurant on golf course road, the Chinese chef has ensured that the setting and food is as authentic as it gets. The pork noodle bowl with soup and shrip fried rice is awesome. Will be back to try more of their fare.

The most amazing authentic Sichuan Chinese experience ever! Went to Friends after reading few reviews and was bowled over. We were a group of 4 and ordered pan fried dumplings, chilli pork and meat in chilli oil (yeah we all were yearning for some spice) and a bowl of rice. The dumplings were ok, would probably go for steamed ones as we expected them to be pan fried like Japanese ones but these were deep fried, but were very flavourful. The pork with peppers was nice too, the peppers a version of sweet mild peppers that added just the right level of punch. The chilli meat (buff?) was outstanding, we haven’t had a dish so full of flavour, deep umami taste with a garlicky caramel coloured broth. The service was good and the staff friendly and there were a lot of Chinese and Asian people dining and smiling which means the food was fairly authentic. Will definitely visit soon

I really wanted to have some good Chinese or Thai or Korean or Japanese food that day(anything asian) and I thought of going to Bercos. On the ground floor of the same mall this restaurant was there so I thought lets give it a try. I absolutely loved every single thing about the food. From the well cooked meat, to the perfectly steamed dumplings, to the classic plating. The quantity is so big, you would need 2 people to finish 1 dish. The food was extremely delicious and quality was just awesome. It is totally value for money given the size of the quantity, quality of food and the type of food items being served there. Hats off 5 stars. The crowd there was also nice and most of them were Koreans(I am guessing). I would love to visit more and more often.

My love for pork and a few good recommendations from people brought me to this very <br/>ethnic Chinese restaurant!<br/>Popularly known as Friends Restaurant.<br/>My order was<br/>•Steamed Pork Momos * 1 (16 pieces)- OK juicy,ample filling but lacked a good Chilli Sauce<br/>•Fried Pork in Green Chilli - not oily,not too spicy and huge qty<br/>•Mutton in Red Chilli Oil- was simple superb,huge portion size and really chilli/spicy<br/>•Tomato & egg Noodles - home made flat noodles,super tasty huge portion <br/><br/>Over all a great dining experience.Just be careful of the portion sizes as they are all pretty huge!<br/>It's serves a lot of other interesting Beef/pork dishes if your the adventurous kind like pork stomach/Fatty pork etc.<br/><br/>Ahem it's n open kitchen so was a little noisy with the Chinese Chef taking everybody to task.Like most people I also asked for a few changes in the dish as per my taste which was flatly refused by the chef! Ordered Yangzhou fried rice and pork fry with chilli. Generous portions and authentic taste. The hosts were very hospitable too. Steamed chicken momo however had the taste of burnt chocolate.

Friends Restaurant !!!<br/><br/>Few of us tried this recently opened authentic chinese restaurant called Friends on Golf course road behind chaayos ! <br/><br/>The place was full of Chinese expats and people who knew how to use chopsticks and we were the exception and waiters were as confused about a dish on the menu as we were !!!<br/><br/>Food ordered:<br/><br/>Bowl of hot n sour soup and it was simply wow with shiitake mushrooms , egg drop & chicken in it. The portion size was huge and could be a full meal for atleast 4 weight watchers around !!!<br/><br/>Deep fried beans tossed in chilli, ginger , garlic with Sichuan peppers - simply fantastic with a numb your tounge flavour of sichuan pepper and aroma of garlic and ginger makes it worth eating everytime you visit any authentic Chinese restaurant , kinda go to dish ! <br/><br/>Fried Chicken - Served cold instead of hot ! Though have had cold cuts manner times but this is something different with not only chicken but some other unknown meats too ! Cold meat full of cold onions and bell pepper with lemon tossing wasn't that bad but ok to eat !<br/><br/>Fried rice, really nice with perfect sticky rice having soya sauce and perfect balanced of salt and spices , can eat them again and again !<br/><br/>Pan fried Potatoes - nothing phenomenal just normal potatoes we make at home with cumin & chilli !!! <br/><br/>Schezwan Chicken - didn't like it at all, with veggies and schezwan sauce a bit high on sour side !!!<br/><br/>Veg momos - really good one eaten after long with perfect coating and spinach inside it. It was perfect especially with the chilli sauce which was not as viscous as we get at other places !!<br/><br/>All in all a good experience and should be tried atleast once !!!!<br/><br/>Cost: Approx 3500/- for a meal of 4 !!

They cook very authentic Chinese food. Very lucky that I have found this place. I came with my Indian colleagues and they loved the food. The ambience is very good but a little bit noisy. There are most of the foreigners are dining there. It worth to try.

Amazing dining experience in no frills but clean spartan surrounding. We ordered some Yangzhou fried rice perfectly cooked, prawn and squid which was succulent and very subtly flavoured and a wonderful roast pork with vegetables. The portions were huge and even though we had ordered just three dishes for the three of us we got some packed to bring back. The staff was extremely courteous and ensured that we have a great dining experience.
