Review Flying Cakes - Gurugram (Gurgaon)

Can see a lot of mixed reviews here, but my overall experience with this place has been good. Mostly order butterscotch cake and dark chocolate cake and have never been disappointed. But yes, I agree with some people about the freshness aspect when it comes to the pastries. Sometimes I did feel that the pastries were either a day or two old or not stored properly. Nevertheless, a good place for cakes in budget. I'd still recommend the place to one and all.

This cake shop is on the first floor. You will get to see a variety of cakes here. I have ordered dark forest cake from here which was delicious. Apart from this will get other party stuff here. The other portion of this shop is gift area. You will get different varieties of gifts here . I have ordered coffee cup from here which was nice. So according to me this place is 5/5.

Tasty cake, they can customize the cake as you like and order, also delivery facility available, although on first floor but taste is really good in sector 14 outside market on old Delhi Road.

Wonderful shop with birthday and party collection Difficult to locate as it is situated on first floor and google map will not take you there. Ask nearby shop in this sector and they will tell you how to reach.

we ordered strawberry cake from flying cakes. I don't like strawberry cake but their strawberry cake was made with fresh strawberries and the flavour was wonderful. i really liked the taste of their strawberry cake.

being a desert lover i always try new bakeries. from this bakery i ordered blueberry cake. the bread was very soft and the blueberry filling was delicious all over the cake. also they bakes rhe base with blueberries in it. really good cake.

we ordered cake from flying for my dad's birthday. he does not like cakes. we ordered the basic one. classic pineapple cake. my dad really loved the cake. the base had pineapple chunks in it and the Frosting was done beautifully. this bakery is really amazing. even their basic cakes are amazing. also they're very very pocket friendly.

Flying cakes is one of my favorite bakery. their cakes are so good. their cakes are fresh and the presentation is so nice. last year i ordered a cake from flying cakes for my sister's bday and from that day. i keep ordering cakes from flying cakes on every ocassion. they're definitely the one of bests.

I ordered eggless Choco flakes cake yesterday but received strawberry cake instead. The order was replaced after some time but thequality of cake was really bad. It was over cooked & had foul smell. I heard alot about their cakes as it's a very well know brand and therefore decided to try their strawberry crush cake. The cake was really nice and soft and had an awesome blend of flavours. The base was soft , fresh and really delicious. A hoping to try more of their cakes and items soon.

Very poor service.Firstly cake was delivered and hour late and then cake was completely smashed when delivered. Name was written at the end corner of the cake. They don't have the sense.to not write the name if space is not there or atleast inform/ask before writing. They promise you to deliver the cake as shown in website but you will get something else only.<br/>When asked to re deliver, they didn't come. Very poor response from the staff of flying cakes as well. Each time some other staff would pick up the phone and you have to narrate the whole story again and again but ultimately they would do nothing. Useless staff. Would never recommend for this shop.

Flying Cakes is one of the most popular names in DLF Phase 3, having mixed ratings from its customers. What I liked about them is that they prepare both the egg-less and with-egg versions of cakes and pastries. My all time favourite flavour remains pineapple or black forest. I tried pineapple. It was soft and flavourful.

I have tried the chocolate cake which looked like coloured bread from inside with chocklet cream on it. Seems like using cheap baking stuff to make such cake.<br/>Tried Red velvet is also not that good which I tasted in other outlet in sector 30 market.<br/>Must try to improve cake stuff quality as it's nearest outlet so we often goes for celebration in this market.

I ordered superman chocolate truffle cake for my sons's 2nd birthday and I must say that I am very disappointed with this franchise. I ordered couple of cakes earlier too but was not satisfied, so thought of giving them one more last chance. Please see below:<br/><br/>1. After placing order, no one acknowledged it, so I was really not sure if cake will be delivered.<br/>2. Cake was delivered 3 hours later than the scheduled time which is really disappointing.<br/>3. Packaging was okay, so no issues with that.<br/>4. Details on the cake were really not up to the mark. They really dont have eye for the details and are doing this business just for the heck of it. Superman logo should be placed in the center as shown in the picture (on website) with same indent from all the sides. However, to my surprise, it was wrongly placed towards right side. Same Indent was not followed from all the sides and this gave cake a tilted appearance.   <br/>5. Cake was blue as shown in the picture. However, I am not sure what kind of color they had used. It was so strong that it didn't go even washing my hands twice with soap. So I am really not sure if they follow healthy ingredient policy.<br/>6. Name on the cake was written in Caps, that's fine, but they way it was written was again disappointing. This clearly shows they don't have expert manpower and are not perfect in what ever they do.<br/>7. Please note that this is not the first time I ordered cake from Flying cakes. Very very very rude bakery staff. I called this bakery. They said we dont deliver such small order if u place it directly. I told them zomato says there is no minimum amount. He asked me to place order via zomato. I did the same. Placed it via zomato. But when I placed order via zomato, the staff calls me up and says we dont deliver this less order. I have to come and collect it. Why dont you mention that in the listing?? Very very poor experience. An advice to Zomato - Remove such listings from your site. It's tainting your image as well.

Upon calling the customer care around 12:30 pm on 18th Jan 2018 I was told that they have received the order just now. This shows how unprofessional and incompetent their team is. They told me that the delivery is being arranged now but I got no confirmation from them whether the same has been completed or not. I again called around 1:30 pm and they now told me that I need to speak with the local outlet to get a confirmation on the delivery.<br/> <br/><br/>And the icing on the cake. If you drop a note on customercare@flyingcakes.in it bounces as the mailbox is full.....this is a super scam.

Ordered plum cake from Flying Cakes for the Christmas Eve tastes normal but having a strange taste with a strong smell may be the flavour they are using is bit higher and then ordered Choco Vanilla cake which tastes really good

Ordered pastry online and after waiting for 3 hours i visited their shop and found that it was already closed. Didn't get any response from them.

I have ordered a cake from them, first the delivery was very very late then the cake was really very hard. when i complained about it over the call they disconnected my call. I found that there is no knife with the cake. Cake as always was awesome but there is lot space for improvement in the delivery standards.

Found this little creature escaping behind these pastries...guys please check before buying any cake or stuffs from - Flying cake U/16, phase 3 Gurgaon,they might give you some of these insects for free to accompanied you home with the cake.

My friend had ordered a cake yesterday and the quality of cake was really bad. We found eggshells in the cake sponge and the cream was smelling very bad. I have serious doubt on their hygiene levels in the bakery. Chocolate sponge had no chocolate flavour at all I even doubt they put cocoa in it ,must be putting some industrial chemicals in the cake to give it brown colour. Please whoever is reading this it's a REQUEST NOT TO ORDER anything from here as their food could lead to serious health concerns .
