I tried my first sushi from sushi house mafia. Ordered a few of their California rolls. Not a bad first experience at all. Really looking forward to try more from their menu!
Service was great. Loved the presentation too!

Very Poor service, person incharged had no sense of how to talk to the customer. Ordered chilly chicken, which is hard to go wrong, was served cold and chicken was undercooked. Overall very bad experience, would not recommend anyone to go there.

Hygiene is sooo low in this truck. Had noodles which were drenched in oil and chilly. Taste is similar to local street vendors. Would not want to visit again

Tried thr rainbow sushi.. it includes bell peppers.
Taste was not so impressive.. very bland in taste.. but still gonna try other options..
As it looks very tempting
Ticker Eats The World
I’ve been eating Sushi for a few years now and my love for it has only grown in this time. One reason could possibly be that I’ve always been fascinated by Japanese culture – films, anime, books, the country with its amalgamation of tradition and the future, people – and the other being that sushi is delicate, pretty, small bits and bobs of yummy food that can be eaten without even realizing how much has been consumed, until the bill arrives that is.

The quintessential authentic sushi still evades me. For that I can only dream about saving enough money and heading over to Japan. That though hasn’t stopped me from enjoying it in its more economical avatar that has become the trend over the last year or so in the country. Being expensive, it automatically has been picked up by the status conscious; who make it a point to mention in their conversation that sushi is now part of their regular diet. This jaded demand has led to an increase in supply of all kinds of sushi. In addition to that, a healthy inflow of expatriates, especially from the East, has resulted in specialized restaurants that are serving food as close to being authentic as possible.

The economical sushi has been one of the biggest reasons for the rise of this trend. It has made sushi a household name and not just limited to high-end restaurants in five-star hotels. Sushi Haus amongst other similar delivery-only outlets made it possible to have well made sushi at home. Kiosks in malls and festivals are quite common now. Many restaurants serve excellent sushi at relatively cheap prices – Kyoto in Gurgaon is one – and places like En – still not as popular as it should be – is a great place to have some good moderately priced sushi. I tasted some of their offerings at a festival and it was the best I’ve had locally.

When the folks behind Eggjactly started a truck serving sushi, I was all for it. Sushi on wheels isn’t a bad idea at all and making it into a bona fide street food can be interesting in the long run. If you came across Sushi House Mafia on a dark winter night, it will evoke a sense of eeriness with an all black exterior, but “looks can be deceiving” – and clichés are a dime a dozen – for inside this whole Mafioso facade is a kitchen that serves freshly made – this is important, so don’t be in a hurry and let them take their time with your food – bits and bobs of delicious looking sushi.

For now the menu at Sushi House Mafia is pretty straightforward and simple; 5 Vegetarian options priced at Rs. 250,- for eight pieces and 8 Non-Vegetarian costing Rs. 350,- for the same number of sushi. The price is borderline acceptable as taking it any higher would prove to be challenging both for the seller and also for the customer who approaches a food-truck for “cheap” food. The size of the sushi also just manages to stay on the right side of being adequate and with sushi – which is in general an expansive dish everywhere – it’s important not to over-price or under-size unless and until you have someone in the kitchen confident enough to make sushi that can challenge the best restaurants around the world. Moreover, the economical sushi is available only a phone call away, so it only makes good business sense to keep the costing customer friendly.

I must confess that I do have a soft spot towards the folks who run Eggjactly and now Sushi House Mafia. They were amongst the first to start food-trucks in Gurgaon and over the last year, as the entire scene has just exploded, they are one of the few who have remained true to the idea behind running a food truck; always on hand at the truck be it in the kitchen or taking orders, walking that thin line between developing friendships with customers and still staying professional, accommodating, they have managed to keep the gap nicely bridged between customer and “owner” of the truck. Since Eggjactly is one of three trucks I frequent regularly, I’ve gotten to know them a little and their passion for food and to experiment with it along with their entrepreneurial lust – which can clearly be seen with the start of this truck – is heartwarming and encouraging to say the least.

Sushi House Mafia didn’t disappoint, let’s get that out in the open first. Food-trucking – is that a thing yet? Has someone already coined that term? – with friends meant I was able to sample almost all that was offered. In order to try the maximum possible, the folks at SHM allowed us to mix and match the sushi is batches of 4 instead of 8. While some stood out as favourites – the Crispy Asparagus, Rainbow Rolls, Dynamo with salmon and crunchy sesame, and the Kick with Wasabi Marinated Prawns – others were equally delicious and having tried 8 of the 13, I wouldn’t say any one was avoidable. You simply have to experience them one after another, even if it means multiple visits, and decide on your own favourites. The sushi was well formed and while some might have lacked a bit of finesse, it is to be expected at this cost. However, it was the various ingredients – avocado, asparagus, salmon, prawns, and a zingy crème cheese – that finally won me over.

Those that follow the blog would probably be aghast that I had non-vegetarian sushi after all the fuss I have created about “going vegetarian” over the last few months. To you, all I can say is; it is in an experimental stage, I only had a total of four non-vegetarian sushi, and they had very tiny bits of fish and chicken in them. So you may please stop looking at me like that and get back to reading the rest of the review.

Sushi House Mafia is a welcomed addition to the food-trucks of the city, but I do carry the same concern about its parking spot as I do for Eggjactly – both of them are parked side-by-side on road near Leisure Valley and Sector 29 in Gurgaon. These trucks – and some more – park facing the road, which is quite busy and often cars whizz past at high speeds. Although, everyone at the trucks is helpful and serve in the cars, it still makes for a dangerous situation especially – as is the case with me – families visit with children. I don’t expect them to change their location – it is after all a high traffic area – but I would strongly suggest parking the trucks so the serving stations are facing the pavement. This also can allow them to put some tables and chairs on the payment for the ease of the customers, but most importantly makes everything a lot safer.

I think I’m confident enough about Sushi House Mafia to place it in my “Recommended” list after just one visit. Eggjactly has been steady enough ever since it started, and I’d expect the same level of professionalism and consistency to carry on with their new truck. SHM also stands out for serving something completely different from the other trucks and everyone loves a little bit of ingenuity when it comes to business; especially when the business is food.

Advertisements

Awesome sushi experience. Their crunchy salmon was hitting the rights spots. Chicken teriyaki was nice, but nothing beats indian chicken 😝

Don't expect much in seating as it's a food truck in a place crowded with other food trucks.

Based on the food alone, i would rate this truck a 5 on 5.. the sushi is fresh and very well made. The cashier was a little unprofessional the last time i visited, and hence the 4 on 5. Must also try their burgers..

One of the worst Basil Chicken meal Bowl ever had. Had to dunk in for pieces of Chicken. The only flavours that we could tase was Soy sauce and Chilli sauce. Noodles were pretty average too.

Normal old school chinese food vans did much better noodles. Atlease they proudly served Indian Chinese food and never caimed themselves to be authentic of sorts with likes of Sushi on the Menu. Didn't even dare to try the much talked about Sushi.

This is the place that has made sushi grow on me. Have been eating from this food truck for awhile know and the review has been long overdue. From their salmon, chicken to even vegetarian rolls, it's a delish exciting journey from the palate to the tummy. Have never had a reason to complain. Wish I had pictures to support this with!

Staying in Noida, has always heard great reviews about this food truck. And due to the amazing Grub Fest, had an opportunity to try their amazing Sushi. I don't know their original price. But I ordered Crispy Prawn Sushi and it costed Rs 250 for 4 pieces. And they were actually great. Would definitely rate them 4.0

Good food but PATHETIC hygiene! No one has gloves on in the kitchen, not even the guy who was making my sushi! Once I requested the guy in charge to ask him to wear gloves he said "it's okay I'll look into it" and just didn't care! Gonna think twice before visiting them again

Whoever likes the sushi here, has obviously never had authentic sushi. Really disappointing. Try Izu or go to the many Japanese owned restaurants in Gurgaon.
Alisha Faleiro
Tried the manchow soup with chicken which was good and the panko roll. I personally am a big fan of sushi so if you have had whats authentic refrain from trying the sushi here. While it looks good the taste is less than average. The rice doesnt seem to have vinegar and was so loosely wrapped makingit impossible to eat with the chopsticks.I love sushi but ended up leaving 2 pieces behind.
Jasmin
Our first visit to the food truck zone and not bad. Since we were not much hungry just ordered the thai red curry chicken meal bowl which was delicious. The right balance of flavours with big pieces of galangal. Need to go back again to try the other items.

First time and this place let my expectation way down. They served us Sushi which was frozen actually . The Tom yum soup was watery and there was no veggies in it. Kung pau course was very average.
From MyPlate
From their menu to my plate was California Veg, California Non Veg, Crispy Asparagus and Crunchy Spicy Mushroom Roll, out of which I heart the Crispy Asparagus the most. It packs a crisp center unlike other sushi’s which is a major win-win for me. Other than this, I also loved the California Sushi which has been innovated with cream cheese combined with carrot and cucumber . For me it really reflects the effort taken by the menu curators to break the contemporary notion of sushi. They went out, tried lots of variations, combined their favorite elements and Bang! they put out their version of sushi.
In terms of pricing, I found them equally competitive to the other food trucks around. It’s priced at INR 300-400 for a box of 8pcs. of sushi in both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. They also have a small range of appetizers and meal bowls which have a decent serving for two priced between INR 150 -250 depending on variations. For a meal for two it would cost around INR 500-600 in a non indulgent mode.

On final notes, I think you must head to Sushi House Mafia for some great sushi. With them you get the perk of getting fresh, fast and yummy sushi right in your car. It’s all made in front of you and served with so much love.
Aakarshna
Had Crunchy Salmon & Crispy Prawns (4-4 each). So yes, they do give you the liberty to mix-match. The coating, filling, and wasabi were all delicious. Sushi done right✔️
Shruti Rajpal (Food Fanatic)
Had the spicy avocado sushi as well as the california veg roll. Just too good! Portion size is great. No scrunching on the wasabi. Just amazing.

So my first experience with Sushi was not at any fancy Japanese restaurant but at this food truck in Sector 29. Initially I thought that a Veg Sushi would be no fun to try but thanks to Sushi House Mafia, it turned out to be a good experience. Nice and soft texture, well cooked rice and very strong flavoured taste makers served along with it. Use them in the right quantity.

We frequent Sushi House Mafia, which is one of the trucks in the Sector 29 parking lot. If you haven't already, it's an absolute must to check out the food trucks..

Sushi Mafia has a decent medley of Oriental food while the Sushi itself isn't great. The gentleman at the till, who also owns/runs the egg place is helpful.

A good alternative to the restaurant eating when you're in that mood.
Strawberry Shortcake
Ok, so nice play on words, especially when you're a fan of the original house artists. We are on this new rampage of discovering food trucks as they seem to be the next rage here in Gurgaon. Came across the huge parking lot that is exploiting fees and appears to be a suitable place for good trucks to surround themselves in, if you don't mind the occasional whiff of camel dung.

I am always on the lookout for a good sushi joint, my last discovery had been Shiro. I know, setting the bars high but what I'm about to share was quite an embarrassment to anyone who prides themselves in making sushi their main selling product.

Simple: these guys don't know sushi.

I was served, 8 pieces of what looked like sushi but was actually uncooked rice wrapped around pieces of fish.

It might not have even been sushi rice, which is generally made with medium grained rice and gelatinous to the touch. These grains of rice fell apart and were dry. I thought I had a one off and tried another kind- same problem. Complained to the manager on staff who offered to have the chefs make it "with a new batch of rice"...what finally came was the same!!! Inedible sushi. I'm not sure what else you make in your "House Mafia" but it shouldn't be Sushi.

I wasted a good 450 on you. Shame.
Mr.Paul
Everything is good with Sushi House Mafia except Sushi. If you like Basmati rice sushi do visit them - however their sushi charges are like any popular sushi place in ncr as if they they have some expert japanese chef in their truck.

Sushi House Mafia is a cute little food truck which caught my eye due to its catchy name and the fact that it is the only food truck in Delhi NCR that serves sushi.
I ordered both the House Special Rolls i.e. Biggie Roll (prawn, crabstick, with spicy basil sauce & topped with spicy salmon) and the Pranko Roll (tempura prawn, crab & cucumber), along with a portion of Teriyaki Chicken sushi.
The rolls tasted pretty average, the rice layers were a bit to thick, i am sure the sushi would have tasted better if less rice was used.
Overall an economical place to order sushi from although i would still stick to ordering from Sushi Haus which by far delivers the best sushi in Gurgaon.
Momi
Well sushi served in a food truck is a genius idea. The food was served fresh and the ambience is good. I tried the teriyaki chicken and crispy prawn sushi both were equally good.
Titas Jana
Nice and awesome food...short menu, quality food, cheap price...same joint from EGGjacktly...Chilly Fish is awesome...Special Sushi was nice...The good part is, their food is not Indianized, so oily...they know the the exact taste and they cook accordingly...
Arif Iqbal
Sushi house mafia, a very nice concept sushi on the food truck.
We ordered rainbow maki 3 bell pepper sushi with wasabi paste,
This was the first time i tried veg sushi, my experience wid that was not very pleasent.
Vivek Debnath
This is the first time ever i tried sushi, i wont say i liked it in the first bite, but felt like it is more like an aquired taste. So i would give it few more tries. I tried wasabi marinated prawns and it was served with mustard paste and a thin dark sauce. The price they charge is on a higher side.

I am a sushi lover and I wanted to try the sushi in here real bad. This place is affordable with good quality and quantity.

I ordered a hot tuna and jumbo prawns meal in a bowl.

I really enjoyed the Hot tuna which is a uramaki (inside out maki roll), quantity was good and the flavors were well balanced. However, the jumbo prawns in Sichuan sauce was a major disappointment. Sichuan is supposed to be hot, but this was too overpowering and I couldn't taste anything else.

Now what lacks here is variety in sushi types, you can order any one sushi and have 8 pieces all by yourself. They do not have the assortment option which may have been a good idea where you could have 8 different pieces of sushi. But they do have different veg and non veg options, not different sushi types!
The second thing here is there is no nigiri sushi, you will only find makizushi here maybe because it is much cheaper as for their affordable price.

Overall, I had a good experience I just hope they have an assorted sushi option where we can pick 8 different kinds of sushi.
Sanchit Mangal
Very poor experience with sushi. I tried wasabi Marinated prawns. It was disgusting. It was my first time with sushi. May be the taste for sushi needs time to develop. But i'm not going to eat that sushi. Money was overcharged. 400 for sushi from a food truck was too high.
Kanupriya
I was very excited to find sushi on a good truck in India! But my expectations of a good sushi weren't really met. I ordered the pranko sushi, which was basically just a really really thick layer of rice with 1 tiny little prawn peeping out. All I could taste in the sushi was rice. Utterly disappointing.
Tanya Bindra
This place is in the midst of a beautiful array of food trucks, and there's so much food and so many options around, the aroma makes you want to eat a horse! I love the idea of serving exotic food from a truck, so extra points for that. I've definitely had better sushi, though. We had the crunchy salmon and hot tuna, which were above average.
The black pepper chicken had a tad too much of black pepper for my taste.
On the whole, worth a visit, more for the ambiance than for the food.

When a foodie finally picks a day to try the Food Truck park in her town, you can only imagine the excitement. Sushi House Mafia, well I did want a better reaction than 'eh' from your food! We ordered the Crunchy Salmon, crispy prawn sushi and Sichuan prawn meal. Technically you should have been able to do the following in a normal case:
1. Your taste buds should have been able to demarcate prawns from salmon sushi.
2. You should have been able to appreciate Asian flavours in your meal bowl.
What we actually experienced:
1. Massively thick layer of rice on sushi to take all the flavour out(well, whatever little one could taste)
2. Sichuan doesn't mean all we seek is red tonight. There needs to be a balance.
I really hope I visit the parking again for some brilliant tasting from other trucks around!
Rohit Bhutani
Excellent Concept. I was not expecting this quality from a food truck. The quality of food was simply amazing. this is going to be my go-to place for sushi, although, the variety was a bit less but then they had california rolls - what else do u need. Way to go guys!
Kamal Chugh
The truck stands out with its cuisine and name, awesome job by the branding team. Now the food, ate a biggie which was lovely, though the wasabi could have been stronger by my standards. I'm looking forward to try more stuff off their menu. If only they could serve sake!
Sukriti Saxena
Tried the crispy prawns sushi and chilli fish, the chilli fish is a total must try, it's got this really soft fish which takes the dish to the next level and the flavours are blended in beautifully. We tried the crispy prawns sushi on the owner's recommendation and they were really nice as well. Thumbs up.
ALSO, The staff is extremely courteous so just makes the whole experience worth an evening :)
Maanvi Singh
Had heard a lot about this food truck and finally i gave it a shot yesterday. Tried the rainbow sushi, although it was okay, i wasn't tempted to try anything else from this place. The wasabi was okayish and the ginger lacked taste. The sushi also failed to blow my mind. All in all, the whole experience was okay. Nothing extremely nice or bad.

I went to this food truck to try sushi for the very first time..! Well, I liked the concept of serving sushi from a foodtruck :)
About the ambience, they have a speaker playing good english numbers..! Epic sushi.
Went back there for some more sushi.
They take some time but it is obvious by how well they're doing.
Loads of options - must try!

I had the Veg Special, obviously. And I can't tell you how much I enjoyed it :)

I ordered a meal in a bowl with chicken and a spicy sauce. It was absolutely amazing and the quantity was also great for the price. Loved it. Will be coming back for more.

First off, bursts of joy. Sushi in a Foodtruck.! Thank heavens for the geniuses who thought of this. Generally Sushi is a relatively expensive grub in Delhi. So not only is the sushi here priced really well, it is all freshly rolled for each order. While that calls for a little patience, it's well worth the wait. I tried 4 kinds, Avocado, Asparagus, Crispy Mushroom and the house special with cream cheese and veggies, all of them were top notch. Highlight of my evening exploring food trucks.
Konika Chadha
Been there a couple of times and always as good as before!! Love the wasabi prawns and Kung pao bowl!! Courteous hostess and staff. Must try if you haven't done so yet!! The best food truck in Gurgaon!!
Rishika Das Roy
First brownie point that it's taking sushi in Delhi off the gourmet table into a food truck, I was a little skeptical but decided to give it a go and it was quite decent- the California Rolls, the Salmon and the wasabi prawn sushi were quite good, it's a great bite right before you head to sector 29 breweries to tank up..
Rupal
It's sushi time. While in gurgaon,I went to this amazing place which is in the form of a truck.

I had terayaki chicken and wasabi prawns sushi. While chicken sushi has always been one of my favorite, the wasabi prawns sushi was amazing.I loved every bite of it and with the wasabi sauce,it tasted even better.i would recommended to have the wasabi prawns sushi. This dish is definitely must have.

Value for money-4/5
Taste-4/5
Yumminess of food-4.5

Overall rating-4

So tried this amazing truck joint on the main road towards sec 29 Gurgaon. I was initially in two minds to eat at any of the joints. Then we decided to stop at Sushi House Mafia. We ordered Chicken Meal Bowl and a combination of Chicken Teriyaki and Wasabi Prawns Sushi.

The taste 5
The quantity 5
The flavours and essence were superb.
Served hot
Filling portions.
Value for money 5
And honestly the sushi and the meals were yummmm

Strongly recommended.

If you love sushi then this is the place to eat! I absolutely love their sushi..especially the wasabi prawn and crispy prawn.. Tried their veg sushi once and even that was pretty good.. Good is yum.. Very hygienic.. A must must try for the sushi lovers and for people who want to start!

Gurgaon has changed over the years and one of the more welcome of these changes is the food scene. After the numerous thekas came the swanky restaurants and now food trucks are powering the street food scene.

Every evening, the road connecting Westin and Crowne Plaza transforms into a mecca of street food lovers. I stumbled across Sushi House Mafia while browsing through the numerous options available and decided to try it out. SHM features about 5-6 options apiece in vegetarian and non-vegetarian sushis, though i was also able to spot very un-sushi meal platters which featured more conventional options covering noodles & rice.

For my weekend meal, I ordered a plate each of Spicy Salmon & Hot Tuna, both the dishes featured eight decent sized pieces (rolls?) of sushi and came with the usual accompaniments of wasabi, pickled ginger and soy sauce. The sushi was very well made, didn't break/disintegrate and featured that great subtle blend of tastes which is the hallmark of good sushi. While both options were great, the Spicy Salmon was a clear favourite in my books.

There really is no reason to not like Sushi House Mafia, it offers a sample of some great food at a decent price in a clean, hygienic setting. Only word of advice, when you visit the stretch, remember to slip on a pair of good walking shoes for all the walking you'll need to do to locate this place ;)
It's refreshing, vibrant and shiny collection of food on a truck. Sushi house Mafia breeding a new generation of food service wherein you can except a fine dining quality on the go. On my visit to the truck I tried California crab rolls and hot tuna. Both sushi offerings are awesome and given me a hint are we in a place which is near to the sea. It's a must visit for all sushi lovers.

Absolutely brilliant food at amazing prices. Perhaps the only drawback would be that its a bit difficult to find. But even so, the food is absolutely amazing. Especially the salmon sushi roll. The helping is also pretty generous.

Visited this cute black truck near Leisure valley.I have seen lot of trucks serving fast food but this one is quite unique as they serve sushi on the go.
USP - They prepare fresh sushi when ordered.
I ordered Biggie with crab stick, tuna and salmon,Crunchy Salmon soft inside and crunchy on the outside and Hot tuna a little spicy tuna with hot mayo sauce.Since it was a take away the packaging was good and the sushis were yummy. The schezuan chicken gravy with noodles was average as the gravy was too sweet and tasted more like hot garlic. The portions were good enough.A must try for all the sushi lovers!

Visited Sushi House Mafia at The Grub Fest 2016, Delhi. Pretty evident from its name, the Sushi House Mafia is an exclusive food truck serving Sushi and other Asian cuisine such as Veg Rolls and Non Veg Rolls. Apart from their juicy Sushis, their Dimsums are delicious too. They serve Exotic Veg, Juicy Chicken, Seafood, Spinach & Corn Dimsums. Visit them for a delightful Japanese treat.

We visited Sushi House Mafia's food cart in Gurgaon at about 8.30 one evening. To start with the positives: The staff were extremely polite and the food was in our hands in less than ten minutes. It was also good value for money: We ordered two plates of sushi with eight pieces each for less than 400 rupees.

As for the food quality, I'd like to think of it as sushi-on-the-go: a fast-food version, not the absolute real deal. The crispy prawn was good, flavourful, but a little clunky in the mouth, and lacked some of the subtly and finesse I'm normally used to when eating Japanese food. My husband enjoyed his spicy Tuna very well: in his words, it really was spicy and delicious.

As an experience, eating sushi on the side of a road on a nice cool evening in Gurgaon was both novel and refreshing. That was the best part of Sushi House Mafia for me: The novelty and change in atmosphere. I'd recommend you check it out just to change things up.

Probably the best sushi I've had in all of Delhi NCR and the amount of variety was phenomenal. I tried everything on the menu, and the California Roll was to die for. Service on point. Much recommended.
Ritika
This food truck got my attention at the grub fest. I tried their Salmon sushi for the first time and it was quite good. The sushi had decent portion and the fish tasted great. I didn't liked the taste of rice a lot, it could have been better. the service was good there. Overall it was a pretty good deal. Do give this food truck a try, if you love sushi.

As a vegetarian, I never wanted to eat Sushi because the whole sea weed wrap etc was unappealing. Although my family and friends love Sushi and have ordered several times from the finest restaurants.

Recently at Leisure Valley, we stopped at Sushi House Mafia and now I am addicted to their veg sushis! I am there atleast 4 nights a week. Fresh, bursting with flavour, and mouth watering!

Their Thai Curry and rice is outstanding. So is their burnt garlic rice and curry! Oh, this is the best food truck in town!!
Reshma Chordia
A good job considering it's a food truck !
The overall taste of the sushi we tried was ok .. It could definitely be improved . For me the sushi rice was too squishy ,which even though the sushi was freshly made took away from the freshness .
Wish em luck !
Pavan Jacob
SHM is their second truck, and overall we were quite happy with the food. We ordered Sushi to munch on while our mains were getting prepped to go.

Our Order :
- Non Vegetarian Maki - A mix of Dynamow ( Crunchy salmon ) & Biggie ( Salmon, Crabsticks, Prawn)
- Red Thai Curry with Rice ( Chicken)
- Sichuan curry with Chilly Garlic Noodles ( Prawn)

I am no Sushi Expert, but i loved it. It was filling and fairly priced - 350 bucks for 8 pieces. It was fresh, and combined with the soy, wasabi paste and pickled ginger - made a fantastic combination. Both varieties had distinctly different flavors and we loved them both.

We got the mains to go - they were packed well and i was concerned about it leaking into the vehicle but none of that happened. Each of the mains is a one person meal. If i was hungry, it would definitely not be enough to fill me up. Flavors were spot on, my only crib was the portion size.

Would definitely like to see more items on the menu, especially meats. Bring on the Lamb, Pork and more varieties of sea food people ! :)

Will be back for more Sushi !

Good job guys !
Abhilasha
A food truck is supposed to have quick, good and worth it food And this place had none if these.... We ordered for prawn maki roll, and it took them 45 mins to deliver it... They should have at least two chefs and One person to take orders to do a quick turn around....
The maki roll was a disappointment with stale chewy sea weed and thick rice with smelly prawn...

A sushi truck is what gurgaon food truck scene was missing!! And its finally here!! Tried the crispy asparagus and the california rolls in veg and crunchy salmon , teriyaki chicken and hot tuna in non veg!! Crispy asparagus and teriyaki chicken being the best! Crunchy salmons pretty good too!! Definitely coming back for more!!! ❤️

The first piece of the fried prawn roll left a terrible, foul flavour in my mouth. Something was wrong with that piece of prawn. Had to spit it out. The other 3 were alright though. Nothing exceptional. The fried salmon roll was a lot better. Crispy and tasty. Will try more stuff soon.

Dread leaving bad reviews! Came with a bunch of friends but the service left me disappointed. Was actually looking forward to the food truck concept, love it. Sushi arrived one by one with too much delay in between. The server seemed super disinterested in serving anyway, I almost wanted to apologise. Basic stuff like serving 2 tissue papers and just 1 chopstick while we're 4 people! Left me a bit turned off. Overall the service was super meh.

Also the sushi was sub-par :( - absence of clean flavours and too much vinegar in the rice. The soy was toooo salty too.

Leaving on a sad note and heading elsewhere.
Shambavi Katoch (What Sam Says About)
Leisure valley in Gurgaon today is home to a number of food trucks. Amongst these I have tried the Eggjactly food truck, drifters cafe, something saucy and now Gurgaon gets it's Ist dedicated sushi food truck. Presenting to you Sushi House Mafia from the house of the Eggjactly Food truck. Having tried the superb food at Eggjactly I was certain that this truck is also bound to be a winner. And normally one thinks twice before going an expensive Sushi bar and trying your hand at over priced Sushi. So the idea of a Sushi food truck excited me and considering that they have both veg and non veg variants this truck should attract a large number of junta.

Since I was planning on taking the plunge to vegetarianism I thought I can't go to the other side before trying every meat on the planet. And fish was on that list of meats, hence sushi. Priced at 350 bucks for 8 pieces of non vegetarian Sushi Sam says it's a steal. Decent size Sushi served with pickeled ginger, wasabi and Soy in a take away box with two chopsticks is damn neat. Your order is taken and is ready pretty swiftly in about less than ten minutes while you wait in your car. What more do you want.

I tried the Dynamon Sushi which was salmon coated with sesame and the Crispy Prawn Sushi and let me tell you both of them were mind blowing with that kick of wasabi and soy!

Boys this truck is a sure winner. May be I will try veg Sushi next week n tell u how it was. In the mean time go take your cars out and heat out today evening and explore Sushi house Mafia and you will go back home with a yummy tummy.
