Very nice place, very good food quality

Nice, calm and quiet place for family dinner. Food taste and quality is excellent probably that's the reason it is a bit on higher side. Friendly staff. Drinks are moderately priced and their 1+2 offer is great. Overall it is a nice place with lots of different variety of food and drinks to offer to those who enjoy peaceful environment.

Amazing hotel and restaurant. Dish preparations are superb. Very caring staffs. Quick service of staffs are very time saving for customers. Behaviour is also very very good. Food quality is up to the mark. They prepare tasty food with less spices.

This place is truly lit when it comes to food & ambience . Dal makhni is something which I don't prefer to eat but when i tasted their dal makhni i was like *wow* . It was really good in taste . Their breads are also good in taste . Overall best place to dine out with your family . Great ambience , good food , not expensive for family lunch & dinner , free private parking . What else one can expect ❤️ Ps : 6600rs bill for 15 people without drinks( totally veg )
Vijay Mathur
Superb South Indian Delicacies, both Veg and Non Veg, with option of North Indian Dishes as well. Also choices of Alcoholic and Non alcoholic drinks. Prices are bit on higher side. Meal for two will cost apox Rs.2000.00

Food is good and service is fantastic When we arrived it was quite empty so we got fast service and lots of attention and later there came more people so it is quite popular with people around the place Recommend to visit the place if you read this review
Rohit Dagar
I went here with my family and had butter chicken and afghan chicken and butter roti and shahi paneer and 1 more dish that i don't remember. I was satisfied with the food except shahi paneer it was not that royal quality that I expected from swagath. Hospitality and environment is great and it is not an expensive restaurant if you can see that you are in sector - 29. We got Rs.3500/- bill for 5 adults but we didn't had any drinks. If you want quality food in Gurgaon then this is price. This is most economical and good food quality restaurant in my opinion. But I never went to any more experience resto or hotel like Taj and Reddison or Crown plaza, may be they offer something better but that's not economical for sure. This is my favorite restaurant in Gurgaon.

This place is in sector-29, gurugram. I went there for an office party and a few Japanese were also accompanied by us as they really love this place to have Indian food. This place has nice ambience and the food is truly good especially non vegeterian stuffs. I would recommend this place for sure.
Pankaj Mehrotra
Great service. Beautiful ambience. Awesome food quality. Worth spending money as it is not exorbitantly priced. Try their various chicken and mutton starters. Combination of Appam with hyderabadi daal is superb.
Agnideep Bhowmick
They offer variety of dishes from north indian to Malabar to Chinese. We tried Malabar cuisine and they were treat for our taste buds. Amazingly cooked malabar dishes were served here.
Guneet Singh
Decent food, expect no ambience, wish they could serve their appams warm..never manage too. Still one of the best economy options for spicy coastal curries and appams.

good place to explore seafood...good crowd too

The place is famous for its South Indian offerings. I happened to visit the restaurant during lunch hours and found the food and place quite good. We ordered their Chettinad Pepper Mutton which had spicy thick gravy which was well balanced by adding coconut. The mutton was well cooked and succulent. I found the dish extremely flavorful and it went really well with the appam (which I must admit were the best I had in NCR). We also tried their Prawn Gassi, a Mangalorean speciality but the prawns weren't that succulent. It's gravy was also slightly more tangy for my taste. Overall the quality of food and service was bang on and I would definitely love to visit the place again to try their other South Indian specialties.<br/><br/>Taste - 3.75/5<br/>Ambience - 3.5/5<br/>Value for Money - 3.5/5

Went for lunch today with team... Tried mutton roghan gosht curry... Murg joshina.... Found the taste of both good... With rite amount of spices.. Service was good.. Good family restaurant.
Ashish
Horrible! Went for lunch today , super slow service , had to remind for everything at least 3 times, placed the order for a particular bread while ordering main course, main course dish was served and the server comes up with sorry bread not available or have to wait for 20-25 mins, never going back, though never had such experiences in the past, but not taking chances anymore.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service...definitely try this place out.<br/>The mutton seekh kebab and butter chicken was amazing. <br/>Courteous staffs and nice decor too
Megha Bisht
Nice place to have food. Loved the food and the behaviour of the people serving people. Enjoyed my meal, should try once.

Went yesterday with friends for dinner, it is<br/>best place for food with good service and ambience.<br/>Can recommended to go there for food with friends & family any time.
Parag Warerkar
We went here to have mutton stew and appams. Both were bad. It took them forever to understand our drinks order and then mixed it all up. Very frustrating. Will never go to this place.
Shlok Kamat
the food here is substandard. Too slow service even though there were just 4 tables ans around 18 covers. Fish was bland and the vegetable Agassi was tasteless. Hate to say  guys please avoid this place and save your appetite for much better places in sector 29. Also its a little heavy on the pocket and so the feeling of complete satisfaction is amiss.
Rabani
I loved their food and it’s worth coming ! <br/>
Vineeta GOURMET_NIVA
Nice chettinand chicken and Appam. PROMPT DELIVERY food was well presented and extra gravy was sent. Awesome taste of chicken but only 5 pieces whereas I expected 8 pieces. Definitely worth trying. Good food as always.
Karan
Great food but misrepresnted drinks menu. Staff don't care of loyal customers. Go there for the food after drinks at any of the other bars in the neighborhood.

Today I with my husband went to Swagath Gurgaonfor lunch, however due to some urgent meeting at office I had to leave in between and my husband was there. When he asked for corporate discount, the people their had abused him and misbehaved with him. It was really shocking!! This place is not safe at all. No one shall visit them.
Anuj Jain
Tried tandoori dawat. Served cold and not worth the amount spent. The oil in which it was cooked did not seem fresh. Manchow soup was worse. Main course was ok.
ISHITA NASSA
Food- 4/5<br/>Service-3/5<br/>Ambience- 3/5<br/>Pocket friendly- ☑<br/>It's feel like a place for corporate dinners and lunchs and not a family dinner type place. The food was good but has nothing to create the vibe!
Kukubh Megwal
Been frequenting this one quite often. Food is really good which is true for almost all of their restaurants. But Gurgaon sector 29 market is really annoying so choose your day carefully. Tuesday evening is perfect. Friday is a straight no. Lunch time is fine throughout.
Culinary Cartel
Authentic coastal food with tangy and tantalising flavours. Swagath is one of Delhi’s finest reputed joints for traditional food, and as always, never fails to impress. <br/><br/>We had the prawn gussi, the tandoori crab, the mutton vindaloo and the chicken chettinad along with appams. This is one of my most treasured go to meals and definitely some comfort food for my soul. <br/><br/>Thank you for always delighting.
Divya Sawarn
Good food but very highly priced. Like the Andhra  style chicken chilli (a unique preparation I hadn't had before),  Chicken ghee roast with Appam. They also serve alcohol, but food is the real deal.
Naina Chaudhary
They never fail to impress, has a decent ambiance and provides great service. The food they serve is amazingly great ! Love the Chettinad Chicken and Malabari pranthas they offer :)
Sahil Chandna
This outlet is tucked in one corner with their own parking space which makes it super accessible The inside looks much better than the outside.<br/>The butter chicken is a must have. It isn't like anything else I've had. It's on the sweeter side and really flavourful<br/>What to try:<br/>Murg Makhani<br/>Dal Makhani<br/>Kebab e Milan<br/>Buttermilk<br/>Chicken Malabri<br/>Chettinad curries<br/><br/>P.S. Ask them to go easy on the jeera powder in the buttermilk and raitas.

Though Swagath is famous for sea food and non veg, I went with vegetarian friends and found their vegetarian food equally tasty. Started by ordering wontons ..it was so delicious, first impression was set correct. For mains we ordered Malabar parontha and appam with stew. I have never had a tastier Malabar parontha till date. Stew was again out of this world. Was left craving for more. Appam was big enough, soft and fluffy. They definitely offer best mangalorean food in town. Just a bit of change in decor will set them at par with the best chains in town.

As I always say, South Indian food is much more than Idli-dosa-Sambhar. I have been a fan of Mangalore and kerala cuisine since the day I tasted Neer dosa, appam and stew from Swagath. It was ordered in office long back and since then, have ordered them a number of times at a number of places. However, no other place till now has been able to match the standards of Swagath. The restaurant might be famous for sea food but they offer mouth watering vegetarian items in their menu too. This time three of us ordered steamed wantons, Appam with veg stew, neer dosa, veg gassi and malabar parontha. Wontons came with ginger and spring onion gravy in soya sauce and were absolutely lip smacking. Can certainly order them again next time. Neer dosa was big and melt in mouth. Especially with veg Gassi, it tasted awesome. Veg stew was one of the best you get in Gurgaon- not too bland, just the right amount of coconut in the gravy. We literally finished the stew till last drop. Hero dish of the day for all of us was Malabar paratha. I am not a big fan but this time enjoyed a lot. We were literally overstuffed but kept on eating till food was over. Only average experience for the friend was his fish dish (don't recall the name) which was way too dry for him. However, restaurant manager didn't charge for it.<br/><br/>I believe if they redo the interiors a bit, they will certainly be preferred choice for families in sector 29. #hereartigoes

One of my friends being quite keen especially on the Swagath Gurgaon outlet, we drove quite a bit to get here. Having heard such praises from him, I was expecting much more but had quite an average experience.<br/><br/>The ambience of the place is decent. We went during the day time, however, my friend suggested that the garden adjoining the restaurant is done up very prettily during the evenings.<br/><br/>I don't quite remember what exactly we'd ordered but to the best of my memory, it was their Kadi Patta Surmai (Boneless) as well as a veg Chettinad dish. Something which is quite rare, I preferred the veg over the non-veg dish. The fish wasn't to my liking at all. The veg dish was still above average. The Malabari paranthas which we ordered alongside were quite nice though.<br/><br/>The place is quite overpriced too. Wouldn't want to visit again.

had team lunch yesterday. i thought swagat would be fine dining, but on my contrary, ambiance is very poor just like road side small restaurant. walls were very dirty, low standard tables and chairs. When you look at the menu card, then only you will know that in this pathetic ambiance, they have courage to charge you 295INR for virgin mojito. lol.  <br/><br/>We ordered non veg platter and veg platter. mutton seek kabab were stinking and stale. even chicken was not up to the mark. although in main course, rara chicken and malabari parantha were good but starter were just waste of money.   Staff and service was good but they have to improve a lot in ambiance and food presentation as well.
Spices Of India
This place is famous for its indian food. Have been to ther noida branch as well which is way better than the one in Gurgaon. The dal makhni was nice but paneer in the paneer butter masala was hard and did not seem fresh. Also the service is very slow and the garlic quantity in the food was so high that there was no other taste in the food. The butter naan was really soft and worth having
Megha Kalra
Think twice. Food not great. Plus they are so over-priced. We started with soup and platter. But we were so disappointed that we just skipped with the main course altogether.
Juhi
If it’s dal makhani and laccha parantha you crave for, then this is the place. I loved the both here and honestly have just tried these two dishes only after a friend suggested. It is finger licking good here!
Ariel Alexander Sousa
The inside is a lot better than the entrance. Large peaceful place and the 1+2 beer offer on Sunday was a great hitch. We ordered 6 beers (pay for 2) and some butter garlic prawns which were not that great. We were quite surprised by the bill though. 2k for 2 beers and a medium plate of average prawns.
Sugandha Vidge
Swagath for me is the ever delicious, soft, tasteful Malabari paranthas. Club it with any dish, I went for Mutton korma and you're sure going to have a mouthful of succelent bites. The ever courteous staff, light decor and complimentary eateries add on to the feel and splendor of the cuisine. Other dishes like lemon butter prawns, murgh Afghani and fried fish are also some of the stuff worth trying here. Must restaurant which caters to all preferences.

₹ Swagath is known for its delicious seafood, so in case you aren't a fishing expert, these guys will happily serve you the freshest members of the Bikini Bottom.<br/>₹ We ordered:<br/>• Butter Pepper Garlic Medium Prawns: Recommended by the staff; they tasted just like the sound.<br/>• Fish Tikka Ajwaini: Soft and squishy, you just want to munch on them slowly to savour them for the longest period<br/>• Chicken Wontons: Very tasty, the sauce they were slathered in magnified the filling’s chewiness<br/>₹ Now the service was lacklustre, and the waiters dropped food while serving more often than not. They also brought the wrong beer (probably Bira, cause it tasty wheatish) instead of Kingfisher Draught and failed to own it upon confrontation.<br/>₹ The ambience was nice for a casual dining place, but nothing new.

I have been a fan of Swagath in Defence Colony and hence my expectations were high when I visited the Gurgaon outlet of Swagath. However everything from food quality and taste was much below standard. Hope this franchise comes up to the standard of the Def Col one.
Rohini
Nothing compared to the defence colony branch. The appam we had to send back as they were not fresh at all. The curries were just okay. Hopefully this outlet will live up to the expectations soon...

One of those places which is famous for its sea food. Not recommended for Vegetarians as there are many other options if you're a vegetarian so if you don't have a partner who wants to have sea food then pls visit some other place. <br/><br/>But they serve real good sea food, this is what my friends say!
Abhi Yadav
Swagath is nice place for dinner. <br/>But today I'm some disappointed. Coz of service , server serve me all order late.<br/>Food was okey and well presented.<br/>Ambiance also beautiful.<br/>Overall food was good but service was slowest.<br/>Must try........
Devendra Mehta
Very good restaurant for veg and non veg lover I try there cream of mushroom soup, boiled wanton, and Malabari paratha that was amazing there atmosphere is very good also nice clean and salient place I love it

Went to Swagath after a long time still the same courteous staff, good food and nice fine dine experience<br/><br/>Ordered Swagath special Surmai Fish with Malabar Paranthas same taste since long I really like the flavor and essence of the fish and loved having it again this is my favorite dish amongst all had chicken wonton soup and veg Man-chow soup, they were nice and made our appetite<br/><br/>As we went with kids, staff really made us comfortable and the best part for kids was seeing a live crab which one of the staff members offered the kids to see and made them touch it <br/><br/>It was overall a fantastic experience

I love dinning in this place. There menu is almost endless and so many many options to choose from. There servers are good, they guide you well through their menu. Because it was a day time, my friends went ahead with vodka but I wanted to try a drink called Tahi Mail shuhs. Which was chilly and gin based drink. Loved it! (Also it was happy hours). Then the following starters happened- Tandoori Khumb(mushrooms ie) yum, Tandoori Prawns (too good, must recommended), Pudina paneer tikka- yum and Hyderbadi chicken which was filled with capsicum and chillies (yum again). For main course we had Egg Curry in Andra style and Sukha Mutton accompanied by plan appam and egg appam. The mutton was soft and had South Indian style touch in it. The egg curry was out of the world, the curry was really good and full of flavors. The appams were soft and much in quantity. This entire Order was almost 6 grand. Also, for complimentary we got chocolate ice creams each. <br/><br/>Please note- all dishes are must recommended. They all were amazing! <br/><br/>Ambience-2.5/5 because it’s very plain & simple. <br/>Starters-4/5 (you know why)<br/>Food- 4/5 (you know why) <br/>Drinks-4/5 (you know why) <br/>Preparation- 3/5<br/>

Good sea food and I love the Appams!!!! the koliwada prawns are good.<br/><br/> Iv taken mostly my clients to this place as the service and quality of the food is always top notch,a bit expensive though!!
Tandoormast#notapaidreview
The place has a surprisingly good ambiance once you enter. The service is very good as well and . The food in taste however is not that great specially considering the price they charge. Considering the price premium we expected rich unique flavorful food but it was just ok. Only commenting for vegetarian food. <br/>Value for money 2/5. Will not repeat.

Swagath is a lovely place to dine out if you’re looking for something more timid in Sector 29. Great food, the service can be better. All in all, they are a place to visit if you like simple yet delicious dishes they’ve to offer. Love the Chettinad!
Shreekant
If one needs to see how the passage of time deteriorates quality of a food joint, Swagath is a good example. It used to be quite good earlier. Now it’s just an over-priced ordinary place for Manglorean food in this part. Tried their calamari in butter pepper garlic, and it was rubbery. The fish gassi and the appams are nice, but so over priced that you feel cheated after the meal. There is a serious need to rethink the quality as well as quantity for the pricing given.
Sachin Baloria
Heard some nice reviews about the place so went there on 2nd Oct ( no booze day ). The building is under renovation. Service was attentive being the only couple at that time. Food was up to their reputation. Their dale swagath is worth to try for
Agnideep Bhowmick
They offer variety of dishes from north indian to Malabar to Chinese. We tried Malabar cuisine and they were treat for our taste buds. Amazingly cooked malabar dishes were served here.

Best Place to Gorge on Coastal/Mangalorean Cuisine !<br/><br/>Neat place tucked in one end of Sector 29. Ambience is very functional. Seating is comfortable and attentive/courteous staff<br/><br/>They serve Chinese, Indian and Mughalai too but Managalorean Coastal Cuisine is the best you can have here !<br/><br/>NeerDosas and Appams are a must to gorge on. The taste lingers on well after you have exited :-)

really amazing food quality we have in swagath when i visited their with family for weekend lunch, they have good variety of north indian food and also their staff also humble and trained.................. really awesome

Had gone to def col delhi outlet many years ago, some couple of times and that time the name of the place was so famous that whatever they would serve used to feel as amazing and just right. So after many years we went to sec 29 restaurant may be with same expectation. It was 4.30 pm and they were opened for lunch/ dinner whatever it is called to serve. We ordered for neer dosa, appam, ghasi prawns and a barbecued pomfret fish. Firstly the order of pomfret fish was taken wrong which we came to know at the time of bill. The pomfret must be more than a kilo well marinated fresh succulent and aptly spiced<br/>Neer dosa was goo too. Then came the prawns which were over cooked and too chewy. When told about this to the waiter, he i guess may be in any mood , qdidnt acknowledge to what we said. But the curry was well made, nicely flavoured. Appam crust was like a dosa , hard one. All in all a one time place to go. And an average experience with food.
Strictly Foodie 🥘
I have been visiting this place since 4 years and they never disappoints.Visited today with my team for birthday celebration for some of our colleagues. All starters very nicely prepared and fine in taste among all chicken lolly pop was outstanding then comes the main course, hyderabadi chicken biryani was aromatic and excellent among all in taste having succelent chicken peices with each rice piece separated.Rahra mutton was also nicely prepared and spicy.Worth to mention ..inspite of full occupancy in the restaurant service was quick and efficient.<br/>A good place to dine out in Gurgaon sector 29. Of you are a planing to dine out side and in a mood so please once try this it's a finally amazing place. Keep it up see you soon.<br/>To rate<br/>Food- 4.5<br/>Service- 5.0<br/>Ambience- 4.0<br/>Cleanliness- 3.5<br/>

Food was awesome as always. We ordered mutton gassi (brilliant coconut base) and chicken chettinad. However, the malabar paratha could have been crispier. <br/>The only sad part was the state of the restaurant's exterior. It looks like their hotel part of the establishment has been shut and so the floors above we in a delipated condition.
Ridhima Jetley
1st ever order & it seems like the manager thanked his stars that i ordered as he sent me kind of stale food.<br/><br/>Ordered hot garlic noodles which was bland with no traces of garlic/ spices, seemed like he sent me hakka noodles instead. 2nd dish was Chicken Americal Chopsuey in which the gravy was nice but the crispy noodles were stale & stinking of oil (like it has been kept since days). When intried to call the restaurant to complain, they were not reachable.<br/>Would not order again ever.
Amarendra Kumar
Worst place. Food also not good. staffs behavior is pathetic .<br/>I had a very bad experience yesterday, Manager of the restaurant talk to customer like Gunda.
Ria Bansal
The place offers beautiful ambience for fine dine and great north indian food. The staff was fine, we had a great dining experience. We also ordered honey chilly potato which was tasty.
Chandan Ghosh
I was utterly disappointed with the fall in the quality of food & taste at Swagat this was one of my favourite restaurants against everyone's wishes I took my family but we would always come back satisfied! This time was terrible! The food was bad bad! The only good part is the parking availability!

Whats in is their bombay duck , hyderabadi mutton and not to miss is their happy hours . Of all my countless visits bombay duck has been my fav . Never miss types ! Dishes served are consistent in terms food quality . no delays , well cooked and served right . Oh I missed the pea nuts . Ask for it when you order beer ;) . Its super . <br/><br/>From the gaurd out side inclusive of the staff inside make sure overall customers experience is taken care of . Always polite courteous , motivated and never miss the greeting while one enters and moves out . <br/><br/>Over all ambience : All good except the huge rectangular art frame right next to the bar area needs a change asap . Looks too outdated old and a total misfit . Get something interesting and colourful there please . Every time I visit that sad frame kills everything . <br/><br/>* getting a place to park your car in sec 29 is a night mare . Thanks to their personalised parking area and the location of the restaurant is a plus . <br/><br/>Hope to see that dull frame off your wall on my next visit . <br/><br/>Cheers <br/>Pravin<br/>Twitter : @pravinmac , Instagram : pravinmac<br/><br/><br/>

Second best thing about this restaurant is its location and the fact that it has its own parking space right when you enter sector 29.<br/><br/>However the best thing about the restaurant is the South Indian food it serves. Even the North Indian food is not that bad.<br/><br/>Recommended dishes: <br/>1. Prawns gassi (this is coconut based, if you want spicy then go for Malabari gravy) <br/>2. Hyderabadi Biryani <br/>3. Fish Tawa fry (starter)<br/><br/>Only area where I would like them to improve is the price of the drinks and for the boneless fish. Both are exorbitant!<br/>

Nice place... Still has the old world charm intact... Nice food and service 😊... Nice place... Still has the old world charm intact... Nice food and service 😊...

One of the better North Indian restaurants in the area. Amazing customer service, food quality is definitely on par for the price you pay. The food does take a while to come out, but it's definitely worth the wait, they really take the time to make everything delicious. Definitely worth going if you happen to be in the area.

I was there (Bill No. 21302) to celebrate with my family and we quite enjoy the Non veg. fare when we eat out. This time around we thought of ordering a mix of chicken and lamb. Ordered a Rara Chicken which lacked flavour in the gravy though I liked the way chicken pieces were done properly. Then we ordered a Mutton biryani and gave instructions to make it spicy and to add good pieces of mutton. To our horror we were served chicken biryani and when I tried reasoning with them they argued that it is mutton.. this completely put us off and we left requesting them not to add it in the bill as this was not what we had ordered. They did oblige though but the incident left a bitter taste and spoilt  the celebratory spirit. Rest things we ordered were Paneer Malai Tikka, Swagath Dal, and their Malabari Paranthas which were satisfactory.

I just forgot that we were in Gurgaon and not in any South Indian state where we were served back to back good South Indian dishes. Everything from the Prawns, fish to chicken was good. They also had amazing appam and neer dosa which went well with the ghee roast chicken and mutton. <br/><br/>Overall a good place but it's little heavy on pocket. We paid 10k for 6 adults without any drinks.
Nidhi Upadhyaya
Went to this restaurant for dine in. Had an average experience , if u r a north Indian cuisine lover then this place goes for a big thumbs up.<br/>Ambiance was good. It was crowded , better to reserve your table in advance.<br/>Here u'll get to see more foreigners than Indians.<br/>This place is highly rated for Indian food.<br/>Chinese cuisine is spicy and not that so good.<br/>Service was good

Swagath is good in either way weather it is about food or service <br/>We had handi chicken for our lunch which was best and it was expensive as par the other restaurants which are there nearby but we have to try it we find it good.
Prachi Taneja
Tried sweet corn soup, dal makhni and garlic naan. <br/>The soup was really good and even the food too.<br/>Even the place was really pretty. We had a really good time out there.

One of the most pathetic restaurants I've been to in my life! Disgusting and shitty customer service! Its as if you've come to a road side dhabha of south Indian goons! And unfortunately it's Def Col branch used to be my favourite place for mangalorean cuisine! Highly discourage anyone to even step on it's premises!<br/>Shitty, shitty place!
Connoisseur Prime
Being a huge fan of Swagath chain of restaurants in Delhi, I was delighted to find one in gurgaon too. Tried my standard order of chicken stew and appam and trust me it was the same old taste being served at the other Swagath restaurants in Delhi. The staff is nice and prompt and the restaurant is very well located in the very beginning of the sector 29 market while coming from the mg road. The place has ample parking and the interiors of the restaurant are spacious and decent. A must try for all appam fans.
Love For Food
Swagath is like a fresh breeze in sector 29 crawl. Overlooking a small green garden probably the best family restaurant in 29. <br/>Visited with friends in the afternoon drinks. Ordered fish tikka and some tandoori mushrooms. Food was OK nothing great to mention, though heared good reviews from friends. <br/>Service was good and overall ambience is positive, Worth a try

Disappointed by Swagath..<br/>Perhaps after being to the def col swagath a couple of times and finding that amazing, thought this one must be great too. But didn't find so!<br/>Ordered Hyderabadi fish tikka- was soft and chunks were tasty enough <br/>Rara ghost- nice mutton pieces with rara gravy. But too spicy and taste isn't that good<br/>Garlic naan- was good enough<br/>The overall prep was good, they serve complimentary papad along with dishes <br/>Ambience-3/5 being in hub of sec 29<br/>Value for money-3/5<br/>Service-3/5<br/>Food-2.5/5<br/>

A very nice and soothing place in the busy sec 29.One can sit and calmly enjoy their meals with very good service and food.We even asked them for Jain food and they served readily.Yellow Dal,Malai Kofta and shahi paneer were delicious and very well made. They served us complimentary salad as well. The lachha parantha and Pudina parantha are very well made but I think they can improve on the tandoori Roti which are quite thin and small and more of flour based. Also I tried Malabar parantha ,it was good but not matching the ones we had in kerala considering it was a specialty south Indian restaaurant.I would love to visit them againa nd try their other dishes as well.
Lavkush Panday
A Decently Quiet Place To Enjoy a Quiet Lunch With Family Or Friends. Good Food.<br/><br/>Enjoyed Their Fish tikka, Hungarian chicken & Dal Tadka.. Good Service.<br/><br/>Overall a good place if you are not a fan of loud music.

Known for very good core South Indian dishes - Must try Chettinad Chicken. Other items are also nice. Must try once! Recommended One! A good place to hang out with family!
Mandeep Rathore(Bon Vivant)
A warm, quite place to have a good meal and some beautiful conversations with couple of drinks away from the other places with so loud music that you can barely hear the person sitting next to you. <br/><br/>The place offers decent food with dishes like char grilled prawns, hunguriyan chicken, chicken penne cheese pasta, fish crispy fry, chettinad pepper mutton which were lovely and a must try there. 4/5<br/><br/>With some good happy hour period you can enjoy some reasonable drinks too. 3.5/5<br/><br/>Ambiance is pretty spaced out and large.4/5<br/><br/>Service Was also pretty smooth with always someone to hear you and get you anything quickly 4/5

Nice big restaurant with some really nice dishes on their menu list. We tried pepper chicken and Hyderabadi daal n I bet you won't be disappointed if you try the same. Don't forget to ask for the happy hour offers on bar menu, they have the offer on max no. Of drinks .

I had tried this place in Chandigarh and it is undisputedly one of the best ones serving great non- vegetarian.. Since i had been craving the butter chicken way too much, went here. <br/><br/>The same taste.. Heavenly butter chicken.. So soft and succulent, falling right off the bone and melting in your mouth.. The butter naan and garlic naan perfectly complimented it.. This food makes life better !! <br/><br/>The staff was courteous. Warm ambience. Good indian meal for the soul ..

The ambiance is Ok though not great compared to the prices they have kept. Food is also OK or average.<br/>The only good part was that it was a quiet place with no  so rush so you may have cool time sitting there without in a rush to vacate the place for others. <br/>We had a vegatarian food like paneer, daal and some veg starters like rolls and potato chilli etc.<br/>It was average but not definitely deserving the price. It seemed the pricing is more a factor of the location than the quality of food served.

Lives upto it's name and fame <br/><br/>Had heard a lot about this chain of eateries but somehow couldn't visit. So when the Saturday dinner with family and friends offered an opportunity, I took it up immediately. <br/><br/>The place was almost full but we got a table within a few minutes. The ambience is decent but with lots of families around, it definitely was a bit noisy. <br/><br/>Ordered Chettinad Pepper Chicken and Rarha Mutton Punjabi. Both dishes were good. The Pepper chicken was on the spicier side but that was too be expected from a Chettinad cuisine dish.<br/><br/>Overall delicious food with decent portions in a place nice for a family/ friends food outing. <br/><br/>Definitely deserves a 4 out of a 5

Known for offering South Indian and Chettinad cuisines, this restaurant, located in Sector 29, was recommended to me by a close friend of mine. The ambience of the place is nice and it is crowded with families during weekends. The decors are also fine with nothing special worth mentioning. The menu comprises North Indian, South Indian and Chettinad cuisines and I ordered the following-<br/><br/> Food-<br/><br/>Non vegetarian Ceaser Salad- Tastes okay and is served in parmesan cheese and tomatoes.<br/><br/>Funghi Fritti- It is basically shreds of mushrooms mixed with creamy cheese and mayo. Tastes good.<br/><br/>Sizzling Gamberi- A prawn preparation served with herbs and tastes very average.<br/><br/>New Zealand Lamb Chops- The lamb pieces are cooked in red wine and is served with veggies. It tastes good and should be tried by the visitors.<br/><br/>Penne Arrabiata- I went for the chicken one and it tasted okay. Although, the tomato flavor was missing.<br/><br/>Chettinad Pepper Mutton- Served hot and spicy and tastes nice with the parathas.<br/><br/>Beverages-<br/><br/>Butter Milk- Okay with nothing special to mention.<br/><br/>Fresh Lime Soda- Refreshing and could be a nice choice to start the dining with.<br/><br/>Desserts-<br/><br/>Caramel Custard- This custard tastes fine and has a rich taste of caramel.<br/><br/>Kulfi Faluda- Not very great but could be a safe choice for a dessert.<br/><br/>Overall, my visit to Swagath was a fine experience and I may come here again to try out more dishes.

Swagath is undoubtedly one of the best family restaurants in Delhi/NCR/Gurgaon region. Specializing in Seafood, Swagath also presents great options for vegetarians as well in North Indian, Chinese, South Indian, Chettinad cuisine.<br/><br/>On a Sunday dinner, I took my parents to Sector - 29, as most of the high-end places were loud, Swagath was the only one with a soothing environment. The ambiance may be a little dull or may not be classy like other outlets but they unquestionably serve the tastiest delicacies in this vicinity. The pricing is consistent in all the branches with proportional to the portion. The staff is prompt and humble.<br/><br/>We started with Tandoori Aloo Dilnaz, less portion but this spiced combination of potatoes and paneer can enlighten anyone's mood, on the other hand, Tandoori Kumbh was well served and an amalgamation of ingredients. Hot Garlic Noodles were appetizing and irresistible.<br/><br/>Primes savored were Dal Hyderabadi, Jeera Aloo, and Mushroom Kadi Patta Special with Cheese Kulcha, and Malabari Parantha. Everything was delicious and my parents smiling faces confirmed that too.<br/><br/>Swagath is a deserving family dining restaurant in items of environment, service, staff, food, and quantity. The ending of the meal can leave anyone satisfied.

It's big in terms of sitting. Swagath Defence colony serves awesome dal makhani and biryani. Hoping to get same taste n aroma, we visited this outlet and honestly, we found difference in taste and this one was not that great. Service was fine. Ambience is good.

Been their several times but for some reason never wrote a review. <br/><br/>Went last Saturday with some cousins from the US and their reaction was " What, South Indian non-veg - what an oxymoron" ! <br/><br/>Some of them immediately browsed the net on their iPhones and found out that South Indians do consume meat and lots of it too. <br/><br/>After some initial scepticism/apprehension about the food our (primarily punjabi) NRI cousins settled in and went berserk and started ordering everything "non-veg and South Indian" on the menu. Here's a sampling of their reactions after trying the zillion koliwadi, Ghassi, Chettinaad delicacies:<br/><br/>" wow why didn't we have this earlier on our trips to india" (read that as Dionysius why didn't you get us here earlier!) <br/><br/>"Awesome stuff"<br/><br/>" Ive found an alternate to the usual boring tandoori, tikka punjabi non-veg food for my next party at home in Maryland" <br/><br/>Needlessly to say the Resturant management must have laughed their way to the bank when they presented the bill to us. <br/><br/>Don't we all love rich NRI cousins 😜😜😜

Though have been to the restaurant few times, never reviewed it earlier. This is a kind of place which can be repeated for wholesome food specially Mangalorean, Chettinad and other South Indian cuisines, they do serve Indian & Chinese as well. We ordered Surmai Gassi, Kundapur Chicken & Chettinad Vegetables accompanied by Appams & Steamed Rice. Fish curry was really good, it was nice thick tangy chilly curry with very subtle taste of spices. Chicken & Veg dish had overpowering taste of Masalas burying the natural taste of main ingredients.<br/>Appams & Steamed Rice go best with this kind of food.

A place where i have dined many times but cudnt write so its seems my lucky day<br/><br/>Order was tangri ke kebab and then gulafu seekh followed by tuty fruity sundae<br/><br/>Ok now the catch is tangri kebab needs min 30 min to b served but it was worth the wait It was nicely cooked and stuffed with chicken keema and it was much better than wat authentic indian restaurants serves in sec 29 Ok then the hunger made me try gulafi seekh. Should say it was average the meat was chewy n was getting dry over the time<br/>Aprt from above have tried there chicken chettinad..Malabar paratha... prawns in garlic n butter chicken they all r worth trying<br/><br/>In desserts swagath tuti fruity is recommended it is scoop of ice cream with canned fruits. One suggestion use broad glass for serving not the small ones as ice cream tends to fall<br/><br/>Service was great<br/>

Flavor of the food was really good. Service part was also nice. Ambience is also descent. Both veg & non-veg dishes are good. For me it is one of the best North-Indian restro. Besides it, this place has its own parking place which is really a plus point in the overcrowded sec-29

this swagath is located well. it has a nice ambience. looks like a fine dining up market place. but i was disappointed with the food. tandoori jhinga was very good but chicken drumsticks were over fried. steamed dimsums were very unappealing. malabar prawns were just average. overall we found it overpriced.

A place that can be categorized in between casual and fine dining. Food is amazing, Rogan Josh is extraordinary and alcohol is easy on pocket during happy hours.<br/>Service is good, all and all a nice place to have food with your family.

Sober atmosphere. Ordinary food. Overly expensive. Portion size is also pretty ordinary. Good for executive parties. Just a straight forward dine in posh restaurant.

Good food, you should'nt miss the sea food. Chicken and mutton dishes are good in taste. Ordered for non veg platter in which fish wasnt that good in taste. Reservation recommended. Manageable on pocket. Ambience is ok.

Nice good food. Good coastal food. Gr8 preparation, decent servings. But is it worth it. Maybe yes.... maybe not. Priced high. This place is kver priced. Surely there are many other places with good seafood and not so high pricing.

I have wanted to eat here for a long time and we managed to do so this weekend. We ordered fish pomfret and chicken biryani. The pomfret was nice and spicy. The chicken biryani was very good. The only problem was the hair in the raita. The hygiene standards need to be better. Definitely visiting again though I will look for any hair in my head first.

This is one of those very typical indian restuarant where you just go, sit , eat and come out. To my surprise in my first visit itself , i loved the food as they only serve vegetarain food nothing else is so great about this place. You can have value for money meal here

I went here with family was a nice Indian meal. The place was a little empty though but was nicely made. The service is good and the food is really delicious. They also have option of Chinese food but I went for Indian. Their paneer and dal are quite nice to eat. Overall the food is pretty good for a nice Indian meal.
