Review Mocha Guwahati - Guwahati

I am visiting them after a long time. The last time I was here was when they had just opened. Although a makeover has been added, I preferred the initial cozy vibe. The design appears to be contemporary and stylish, although it is not as impressive as the previous version. Moving forward, we ordered some cocktails which were good, and I loved the banoffee pie that was served.

The cafe's ambiance is really inviting. We tried the Pink Sauce Pasta and garlic momos, which were decent but not mind-blowing. Now, about the drinks. The pink laminate was a delightful mix of sweet and sour, quite enjoyable. The food might not always hit the mark, but the relaxed vibe, diverse drink selection, and the must-try dessert 🍨 make up for it. Best thing about Mocha is that it provides a cozy setting for catching up with friends. It's the perfect place for small gatherings to chat, relax, and unwind.😇 A suggestion for improvement would be to focus on enhancing the food's flavor.

Love Mocha always! The service is amazing and the food is just exquisite. My stomach is so full. Had the farm fresh pizza, chicken dum biryani and the blueberry cheesecake. The quantity and the quality always gets better and better. ❤

Went more than ten times in last 6 years. This place serves food pf premium quality. Whether it's indian to Lebanese every dish prepared is a delicacy. The ambience and staff behaviour is very good too. We ordered Kitkat shake, chilly Prawns, lebanese kebab platter and White sauce Spaghetti, the portion of food was worth the price.

Mocha has one of the most aesthetically pleasing cafe interiors in the city. It is quite busy in the evening and weekends. While the prices are on the expensive side of the spectrum, I would say the food is quite tasty. I had the 'country style roasted chicken'. It was very tender and delicious. Portion size is great for 1-2 people. Loved the buttery dip. However, I wasn't very fond of the vegetables that came along with the chicken. I would have preferred them to be cooked a little more, especially the carrots, which were a bit too hard to chew. Service is decent. There is a smoking room available. Overall, I had a good experience.

Amazing, AMAZING place! We had breakfast here, and both the African omelette and Parsi omelette were great! Their bread is the perfect side to the breakfast platter. Along with that the French press monsooned coffee and fresh lime soda was great. Also, hats off to the great service and nice atmosphere. One of my favourite places in Guwahati now.

The vibe of this place has always been great. I think Mocha has been able to keep up the standards of itself to be on top of the list. We recently tried the Farmhouse Pizza which was average. The spaghetti was great thou. (Yet to try a lot so stay tuned for the rest of the review at Mocha.)

We had the iconic mocha fried chicken bucket, some chicken dum biryani and packed the sea salted caramel cake which was heavenly, the best in town. 🫶

We order two chicken sizzlers, iced lemon mint tea , watermelon juice and one crispy peri peri chicken. Loved the food and the vibe is 🔥.

The food here is amazing! Tried the curried vegetables lasagna, BMT Panino and chipotle burger. All 3 were really good! Curried vegetables lasagna was the best. Do try it

Wonderful place. Great ambience We tried - naga chilli chicken , chicken pizza and Oreo shakes. The pizza was amazing. The crust was thin , the cheese was abundant. A happy meal indeed.

pizza is only third grade cheese on maida. no tomatoes, no basil. On complaint they say this is how it is. Think twice before ordering from this place. Its no longer what it used to be

This place is the OG! I love everything about them, the food, the ambiance, the staff, everything is so perfect! I love their mixed sauce pasta and pizzas so much and their desserts are to die for 😍

After having home-cooked food for months, finally decided to go out and have a meal outside. I've visited this place numerous times and have loved the food always. Maintainence of all covid protocols are a must at this time, happy to see it being done here. This time I tried a sizzler and a mocha special chinese bowl. Food was great as usual. I have only one small complaint - please turn on your air conditioning during the warmer days .

one of the worst place to dine in.service is really miserable and worst of a kind.they came up with a new system of ordering through whats app while sitting on table.i did what they asked for i even got confirmation for the same through whatsapp but after waiting for almost 40 min the waiter comes to me to order again.what a waste of time and food is also not worth a wait.

One of my favourite cafes in Guwahati with a nice ambience. Had the baked Mac n cheese and smoothie. You can visit it with your friends and have a great time.

Being a regular visitor of mocha, I have always loved this place for it's Ambience and food. But in recent visit what I loved most is that they are providing good disposable glasses ,plates and spoon. And also contactless menu is provided through WhatsApp. This is really nice initiative along with sanitization and temperature checking. Social distancing among visitors is maintained too

It’s a nice place to hang out with friends . Thin crust pizza is a must try . Food is good . It’s a quiet place . This location has a great set of people, they are wonderful and so sweet and always working hard .

I went to this place on a Monday afternoon and found it very lively, it has a great ambience and a very courteous staff. All of the food items I tried were really delicious. The best were the dimsums and rasmalai cheesecake.

It was a cozy restaurant , the interior was beautiful aswell and of course the foods are worth every penny.The music was too poppy doesn't suits the overall vibes of the restaurant classic minimalistic look.The silverwares are too crooked (designed to be crooked) and big,which are hard to hold and hard to get a good grip.Despite that my overall experience in the restaurant was delightful.

This place has an amazing ambiance. I was un guwahati and was looking for a good coffee place. Came across this place while browsing also a suggestion from a friend.<br/><br/>A good place to enjoy a hot cup of coffee in the winter evening.<br/><br/>So I had Roast Chicken Panini. It tasted good which had a good amount of chicken and coleslaw. It was accompanied with fries and mayo. The fries were fresh and crunchy.<br/><br/>Also, had cafe Mocha which was good. A strong coffee with chocolate. A good coffee for the perfect winters.<br/><br/>Service should be a little fast.

Ordered Kasuri meethi infused paneer and chicken tikka masala recently. Packaging, taste, condiments, everything was perfectly fine except for the blunder that did. They delivered wrong food items to me firstly for which I had to wait for another one hour. But all’s well if the taste is excellent. Must mention the butter naans which they served, one of the best that I had. Kudos.

Ambiance is ok, food and drinks are quite average. Pizza was dry and not properly cooked. Did not like the food. Overrated. Watermelon drink I ordered was water.

A must visit cafe in the city, be it the ambience or the service, everything is top- notch.Loved the hospitality of the servers.<br/><br/>Coming to the food, we tried the Chilly Garlic Noodles(Chicken), Half & Half Pizza (Chicken Fiesta+Farmhouse) & the Blueberry Cheesecake.<br/>For me the cheesecake & the noodles were the star whereas the pizza was just average nothing exotic & the pizza sauce was too tangy for my palate. I have had better pizza at that price level. <br/><br/>But I would still give it a 5 star purely for it's service.Wish to visit them again to try the sizzlers. <br/>Make sure you book a table beforehand since this place is very popular & hence always crowded.

Always the go-to cafe when you run out of ideas for new cafes.<br/>The Sticky rice bowl was my personal favorite where I loved everything in the bowl.<br/>Tried Lava-Lava for dessert which was enough to serve two I guess.<br/>Service was fast.<br/>It's the best place to suggest your friends as well.

Mocha is a very beautiful and a good restaurant for foodies. They have different a wide range of menu. Starting from different types and starters burgers pastas, sizzlers and many more. As a dessert lover I am always excited about trying different types of deserts. And mocha serves you with a wide varieties of desert.<br/>I visited mocha few months back and tried there special Mocha Lava Lava worth rs 180. I was very much excited to try their special item. But the item was not like what I expected.<br/>It tasted more like raw chocolate cake batter the chocolate lava cake. It is not worth it<br/>I even tried their Mac and cheese pasta which is my all time favorite and it's worth trying. And also their cheesecakes are worth trying.

Overall a very good experience with staffs who constantly look for your feedback to ensure they keep improving..The only drawback is a few mosquitoes sneaking in probably from the Smoking Zone...Their Cheese cake is really good ...Their Wings were worth every penny as well...<br/>The only issue as far as food is concerned is that they should provide less of rice and more of sauted vegetables and chicken/meat pieces in sizzlers.<br/>

After my first visit, I felt it was compelling to come again for second. However, i tried the some 5 variety f starters + 1 dessert today and i found the taste totally boring. Probably, the same cook from the previous visit wasn't there or taste buds were just taken for granted.

Best place in the heart of Guwahati.. Soothing ambience with the most enjoyable food and obviously coffee.. And my always go to place.. The service has always been very attentive whenever I've been there..

I went to Mocha for 6-7 times. The food is I wont say great all the time but its nice sometimes. The place is very beautiful. And has a separate smoking zone which is also beautiful. One the point I want to highlight is the service tax that they include in the bill. As per the policies no restaurants should ask for service tax other then CGST and SGST but Mocha does ask for service tax. Since the price of the food is already expensive so I think that extra tax is too much.

Good food and nice ambience. Good place to hang out with friends and family. I tried Chicken dim sum. It was great. They have nice beverages too.

Good vibe and good coffee. Anyone who has a taste for coffee would love their single estate coffees. Their pink sauce pasta was good. We also ordered a rasmalai cheese cake, that was disappointing though. Too sweet and didn't have the tanginess of a good cheesecake.

Nice and huge place with various accomodations and cuisines. A little high priced I feel. But worth it. The seperate smoking area is a big area too.

Very chilled out atmosphere with good food in the hub of the city. Very spacious. Tasted the alfredo pasta and oreo milkshake and loved both of them.

Such a pretty place. Mocha fried chicken basket is my favourite. Chicken fiesta pizza is not good. I ordered 4 drinks Blueberry, Berry Blast, Rocky Road and Oreo. All tasted so good. Will visit again.

We ordered fried chicken basket and tek mek chicken sizzler. We found the price to be higher compared to the taste. It seems Mocha concentrates only upon a few dishes and not all.

I had ordered Assorted Chicken Platter from Uber Eats but the food was so bad. It didn't even have salt. The taste was horrible. Oil was constantly dripping from the package. I had to throw the entire contents. It was a total waste of money. I had wasted so much money on such horrible food.

My favorite restaurant in the city! Everything is perfect here, starting from ambience, location, food amount, food quality, food price, staff behavior and what not. My favorite item is Baked Mac n Cheese, Panini, Chocolate Avalanche, Chicken platter, The Great Shakes and Mocha freak shakes (all of those). The coolers aren't tasty though,go for shakes instead. I would give a 10 star to Mocha if the option was available! 'Mocha never disappoints' !

Well... Cafe mocha... One of the cafes o wanted to visit in guwahati.... It was My bookmarked place...indeed a place i would like to recommend everyone to visit ... Really liked the service and food served here... Veg Fried was very tasty... I supposed Bhut jolokia chilli chicken to be very spicy. . even though it wasn't spicy but it tasted great ... Sriracha smoked pork also tasted great... This place is really a place every circle of friends should hang out with and enjoy the food served here... Recommended😎

My first visit here, ambience looks catchy. Food tastes delicious, we ordered a burger, garlic noodles, berry shake or something (not good with names) and some kind of chicken fry. The tastes was real good, the quantity too was a lot. The only star lost was because of the staff, they were pretty slow to act, we had to call them again and again to drift their attention to us. Overall RECOMMENDED!!🌞🌞

First kudos for the awesome ambience. Amazing. First time visited with my so call friend. Had some random orders. Burger, coffee, lemonade, fries, etc. taste-wise it's above average (as you won't get a proper burger in any of the café in Guwahati). You can have a quality time over here. Undoubtedly one of the best places in Guwahati. It offers ambience, great staff, amazing food and an overall memorable experience.<br/>With the new cafe culture in Guwahati, it could be expected that most cafes are all about the glitz, not cost-effective and are somehow imbalanced (mostly it's in terms of service). But Mocha has a wonderfully caring staff - alert and hospitable. The venue is nicely made use of and with a large number of people walking in everyday, it shows how they continue to put in the effort daily for every table. I'm really impressed with the place and it's a great place for killing a few hours with friends/family/a date/alone.<br/><br/>We ate a number of things, starting with coffee, cakes (ref. to pix), Khow Suey, Mac n' Cheese, the Chicken Basket and something else. All of it was brilliant and such good portions!<br/><br/>Special mention for the coffee. The culinary staff at Mocha understand that coffee can only be measured in full, piping hot mugs and nothing less.<br/><br/>5/5 for everything!

I used to love mocha few years back.. this recent visit to mocha on 21st May, where my wife ordered a European dish, the chicken breasts were dry and she had a hard time cutting the meat with knife (maybe they should sharpen their knifes). The mashed potatoes were stale and giving off a odour. It had a strange flavour as well. The veggies in the dish were stale and seemed so lifeless on the dish. This isn’t my first time bad experience, a year back the sausage in Tex Mex sizzler was spoilt and was smelling. On complaining they said sorry or some excuse god knows. People of Guwahati, this isn’t the best of food, please be aware of what you are eating. <br/>-his health conscious wife!

My favorite Cafe till date. Have a cup of coffee and chill with your friends for hours. They have pretty interiors. They food is good as well. The staff is very well behaved. They have a smoking zone also.

Very good place to hangout with your friends & family.. the service is very good the staffs are very well spoken. The best thing about the service is, if you order 2-3 items at a time they won't give you all together. They wait until you finish eating one & then serve another!. The rave reviews this place has received pulled us for dinner to this place. Had been on the bucket list for Guwahati for a long  time. Ordered a couple of dishes -𝒮𝓅𝒶𝑔𝒽𝑒𝓉𝓉𝒾 𝒜𝑔𝓁𝒾𝑜 𝒪𝓁𝒾𝑜  and 𝒮𝒸𝒽𝑒𝓏𝓌𝒶𝓃 𝒫𝒶𝓃𝑒𝑒𝓇 𝒷𝒶𝑜.<br/><br/>The Spaghetti was well cooked and presented with a couple of garlic breads. The sundried tomatoes and mushrooms went well with the dish. Would have liked to have a bit more spinach in it which was negligible. Also, it was a bit more on the oily side which does not augur well for such a classic preparation. The garlic breads had gone a bit cold but were buttered and toasted well.  [𝟒/𝟓]<br/><br/>I was very disappointed when the baos arrived.For a moment I thought we had been served the wrong order. These looked like pav and upon taking the first bite my doubts were proven right. I never had a bao which was toasted like a pao. The paneer filling was very generous and good but the purpose of a dish is defeated if it is not what its supposed to be. Expected a bit more pull and definitely white but these were toasted it seemed rather than steamed.

This cafe is added to my most favorite places. May it be the ambience or the food, it justifies in both. The food is really awesome, the Ferrero Rocher being my favorite shake. Also, the staff is really friendly. The place is really clean n well designed, giving it an overall high score.

Went here during my first visit to Guwahati in the evening and it came out to be a wonderful experience.<br/><br/>The ambience is comfortable and cosy, ideal for a date or hangout with friends. Staff is helpful and service is quiet good. They do have a smoking room too, but try not to sit near the door of the room, not a good experience.<br/><br/>We tried Hot Chocolate, which was the best I had till now. Mocktails were also good. Pizza and Chilly Potato too were well cooked and tasted really good.<br/><br/>Altogether one of the best places to hangout in Guwahati, a must visit for a fun and relaxing time.

Absolutely loved Cafe Mocha. The vibe is super quaint and European and the food is super delicious. . A must visit for good food soul. It's located on Anil plaza-|| , Christian Basti and very good location.<br/><br/>Their menu is a mix of modern Indian and European and some dishes caught my fancy.<br/>Service is certainly fabulous.<br/><br/>Crisp thin pizzas and a beautiful amalgamation of flavours.The yummiest thin crusted meat loaded and freshest pizza you can find. I am a die-heart pizza fan and the longest time I couldn't find a place that serves half and half pizza.<br/><br/>Fiery chicken wings was soft and juicy from inside. Totally savoured every bite.<br/>For dessert , we went to bannoffee pie. Perfectly well made. Presentation was perfect.<br/><br/>Over-all I good place, worth visiting.<br/>Definitely recommended, MUST GO, guys!

I visited Mocha with a few of my friends as I saw the place is very highly rated on Zomato. I wouldn't say I was disappointed, but a place rated as 4.8 should have a different kind of spark or vibe which I felt was missing.<br/>For beverages, we chose a Lemon & Mint Green Iced Tea and a Miami Melons. The iced tea was quite good and refreshing and came in a nice glass jar. The other one, maybe not so. It was just a plain blended juice of watermelon and guava, nothing very different. So, I was not quite impressed. For starters, we opted for the Fiery Chicken Wings and Mocha Fried Chicken Basket. The chicken basket was delicious, and had a good portion of well seasoned chicken chunks. However, the wings were a bit underwhelming. It was tasty, no doubt; but it was not fiery in any context. It was rather very sweet. When the menu says the term fiery, I expected the heat to be much higher. We also ordered the Peri-Peri Chicken Pizza. It was a medium sized pizza which was divided into 8 slices. It was quite good, but I felt the toppings to be uneven. The quantity of chicken chunks was very generous and I have no complaints regarding that. However the other options like the onions, feta cheese and capsicum were put very sparsely. The amount of cheese and the crust was good, so I did like it anyway. Lastly, for dessert, we chose the New York Cheesecake. Probably the most satisfying option, this place serves amazing desserts, and you have to try them out. Everything about the cheesecake was yum. It was creamy and a bit firm, just how a baked cheesecake should be. Also it had a hint of lemon in it, which I thoroughly liked.<br/>On the downside, I felt the service to be very slow. Like too slow. There weren't much customers, yet the staff was taking a lot of time to deliver the dishes. Also, I felt they needed to smile more and give some life into their work. The staff were not rude or anything. They were nice, but they were not impressed. I missed the hospitality, something that I expected from such a highly rated restaurant. Also, they levy service charge on your bill, which you can refuse to pay. But we didn't know that, so we ended up paying anyway. And to be honest, I was quite surprised to see service charge being levied on the bill, as it's only GST that should be available.<br/>In a nutshell, its a great place to hang out with friends or families as the place is easy to find and the ambience is great with a lot of openness and airniess. The food is good but the desserts are great. Service needs some improvement, or rather more life and zing to it.

No qualms about the taste. Coffee and pizza is really great here. But if I factor in the price they charge then my viewpoint totally changes. Considering the price I can only conclude it as a decent place in Guwahati.

One of the finest cafe of the town and the ambiance is lovely , added the staff are doing too great at their work. Would do more good if the lighting would have been a little more bright, otherwise it has to be the loveliest cafe I have visited so far.

This was my first visit to this place and definitely won't be my last<br/>We ordered a putin , omg grilled chicken burger, and a chicken shasalik sizzler... For drinks it was frrsh fruit and oreo and cookie brownie shake<br/>Can go about how nicely the chicken was cooked or the combination of chicken tasted with makhani gravy, but you gotta try it to know it.<br/>Definitely recommend this place<br/><br/>My overall rating for this experience would be<br/><br/>Food- 4.5/5<br/>Ambience - 4/5<br/>Staff - 5/5

I wandered with my boyfriend on a Friday night and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and tempting aroma of roasted coffee.The restaurant was filling up quickly (it was almost 7:00 pm) but we managed to snag a table.<br/>Coming to the choices of menu,it was great but with a bit high price.we ordered one cafe lette and cafe mocha,really full with flavours and with smooth texture.Then we ordered one Tex Mex chicken sizzler and one sticky rice bowl.Sizzler taste astounding ,the best i ever had and the sticky rice bowl with smoked chilly pork also incredible.<br/>Really a best place for a casual date or to talk over some coffee.😋

Spacious comfy interior with delicious food. Located near Bhangagarh,its located in a commercial building on the main road. Definitely recommended.

One of my fav places in Guwahati for continental food. They have a wide variety of continental dishes, but my all time fav combo is the pork ribs with bbq sauce along with a glass of snickers shake! An absolute visit for all continental lovers!
