Full detailed review: Food: Excellent appetizers and food. Authentic Chinese food that isn't too spicy. Price is okay. Service: Service was fine and nothing special. Atmosphere: Atmosphere does take a hit. The furnishings are meager at best and the music isn't fitting. Alcohol is served here. I would recommend it. Try the Dimsums.

It is an awesome restaurant for chinese cuisine! The food is super tasty and the service is great. The portion size of their dishes is so generous that it can easily feed 2-3 people. You'll definitely leave satisfied and with a happy belly🍽️

Each dish has its unique taste. Also the preparation is such that if you order the same dish even after a long period of time, the taste is same. The quality and freshness of preparation is outstanding. The quantity is also value for money. Service is quick and waiters are quick to respond. A must visit for anyone who likes Indian Chinese.

Location, ambience , food quality is good. Nice place to go if you want to have chinese food. They have parking space available which is another great thing as the location is a bit busy area. Service is promt and quantity adequate. However i have had better chinese food.. so may be slight improvement can be done. Alomost forgot...,they also have a bar!!Overall was a good experience

The quality of the dishes are also good. We had ordered lamb and fried rice with a mocktail. The taste was good with all the dishes. The quantity of rice was sufficient for two people.

This restaurant located on the R. G. Barua Road at Ganeshguri, Guwahati is popular for its Chinese delicacies. Alcoholic drinks are also served. The restaurant is brightly lit with well decorated interior. The seats are comfortable so as to provide a fine dining experience. Had mixed meat noddles, pan fried chilli chicken, garlic pepper chicken and prawn in sauce. Full marks to the food and hospitality.

The place is amazing. The pastry os amazing. The food is tasty but quantity is less in comparison to the price.

Fast service. Lovely ambience. One of my favourite and constant places over the last 3 years. Simply delicious food and absolutely amazing and courteous service.

This place is located in ganeshguri, it has a bar + casual dining cuisine.... Well The ground floor is kind of bar and the next floor is for casual dining.. Well I must say, I dont know how can people like their service. .. Like seriously ?? One of yhe waiter was so annoying.... I called him so many times for place an order but he was busy serving only some crew who were drinking.... Apart from that the service was fine but how can they Neglect their customer like that.... Okay coming to food... I'm sorry but I didn't really enjoy the food... Well we get good quantity of food but didn't really like how it was being prepared ..... We tried lobster with a choice of hot garlic sauce but the taste didn't really blow me... Smoked pork with chilli and bellpepper was too spicy (it was a different level spicy They gave too many chilli powder and it felt like we were just eating pork with full of chilli seasoning ) or else it was cooked proper....Im sorry but I was really disappointed with the savoury pork ribs it wasn't a pork rib... They just served us those ordinary portion of pork....It wasn't a rib portion ... coming to prawn we chose the chilli wine sause but they served the simple one just plain creamy white in color just imagine... I was really disappointed.. ... It was the worst prawn i ever tasted till date.... the quantity and quality of steamed rice served here is awesome... I think chicken is best served here.... Seriously im wondering why they gave that people like pork ribs here or was it only my group who wasn't served with good food... That's a mystery I will carry forever within me... The abience isn't that attractive but its good for some small gathering ... I hope they improve their food quality really quickly ... Overall experience was fine... though i wrote many negative things but that's because I already had too many expectations from this place but it wasn't up to my expectations....

One Of The Best Chinese Cuisene restaurant in guwahati. Food 4, service 5, ambiance 4.5. they have tried to do up the interiors but there is still room for improvement. Found It a little cluttered. Food was good but there is room for improvement. Service was exceptional.

This place certainly deserved a 5 star. Had pork ribs and pork momos and I can’t tell you how succulent and juicy the food was. This goes to my all time favourite places across India. If you are in Guwahati, then you can’t afford to miss Red Hot Chilli Pepper.

I like the ambience and the workers are polite.. I tried chicken pad Thai noodles and crispy chilli babycorn.. both the items are delicious specially the pad Thai noodles... it taste different but it's yumm.. I hope the restaurant should try to increase the portion size.. coz of the portion size I have given 4 star rate..

I have always loved coming here for the food and service.. But today the service was really bad.. The food was still great as ever... The guy who was waiting us on the other hand, seemed quite moody and it felt like we weren’t welcome.. I really love the food at RHCP but after today I will have to think twice before coming or referring it to my friends...

Visited Red Hot Chilly Pepper for a family lunch this christmas. As usual this place is consistent for its service and food quality.<br/><br/>We went for a two course chinese lunch. Two chicken soups and a chilly garlic chicken starter. I am a gamer for good presentation on plate when it comes to food. The Chilly Garlic Chicken starter look somewhat messy but it tasted awesome.<br/><br/>What I love about this place is the portion of food they offer you and the service.<br/>They even have a small auditorium that can service 30 people with great feel and a private bar too.<br/><br/>What I am skeptical is the availabilty of parking space but that cannot be a dampner. So my take is :Service - 5 Star Food - 5 Star . And yes even on a rush day the food is quick to arrive. Great place for lunch and dinner.

Good ambience. Prompt service. From among what we had ordered, their crispy chilly babycorn was on point. The chicken Thai green curry though was just above average. The flavour was there, but something was missing. The Prawns in Oyster sauce were good too. Overall, a decent experience. The food and the service both were good. Hence, 4 stars. :)

This is one beautiful place in zoo road. The ambiance is really good, and it is beautifully decorated. The menu is diverse and the food is good, though the prices are quite high. But all in all, this is a beautiful place to be in :)

This place is located in the heart of the city. Prices are very high but the items are good. So price doesn’t have that much of priority . I went to this place for lunch the first time and liked it very much. The service is very quick and food is also very good. Decor of the place is very warm. Quantity they serve is decent per the price it is charged. Love it will surely go back again.

I loved it's food to the core.It was an unplanned afternoon and it ended to be a delicious one.Prompt service ,cosy ambience (upstairs) and yes superb food.Literally we had mice running and was expecting something delicious in the order. More than just delighted when they gave us just like we expected.<br/>Prices are a bit high (no remorse) but it's justified as the food is extra good.<br/>I shall visit it again for dinner or a lunch specially.

I love the ambience of this place. Went there to celebrate my best friend's birthday, so we ordered fire cracker chicken which was trying dish of the day. For main course we had hakka noodles with mixed meat which was above average, schezuan fried rice with mixed meat which was good, smoked pork with chilli and bell peppers which was below average, the pork was overcooked. But we ordered Pork ribs which was so yummy. The service was very prompt when we ordered the starter and the booze but for the main course we had to wait for a very long time. Overall had a good time here, would definitely visit.

A wonderful experience.. We had chilli mountain chicken which was amazing.. a must try. However the Shi Hu Soup was so so. Coming to the main course.. the Chinese pomfret was delicious and so was the Lotus Leaf Wrapped Fried rice.<br/>The Date pancake is a must try there. One of the best restaurant in town that offers chinese and thai dishes. And may be the only place that serves turkey. Great ambience, Delicious food and also very good staff. Rates are a bit expensive.

Red Hot Chilli Pepper serves Chinese and Thai cuisine. it is the only place here that serves Turkey. Although i haven't tried it yet, the other dishes i tried here were very yummy and flavourful. The Singaporean rice noodles were quite good the smoked pork was really good but the best for me was the crispy prawn garlic pepper which i can surely recommend to try. The people here are well mannered and the ambience is good too.One should definitely try this place out.

Best place to have Chinese! Rates are reasonable along with good food. When I visited this place, I ordered a plate of noodles with Manchurian. That was mind blowing! The best Manchurian that I ever had! It's a nice place to chill out with friends. I had Chinese tea for the first time there, ....loved it! All in all worth the price!

This is a nice restaurant. I went there with few of my friends just to spend some quality time together. I liked the ambience and food here. I liked chilli mountain chicken, Cantonese chicken, and lobster in the sauce of your choice. The flavours were awesome.

The moment I entered the place I was like "wow"😍 very attractive place and silent place. We ordered pan fried chilli chicken, golden fried prawn and veg hakka noodles. Chicken and the noodles was very tasty. Prawn was nothing good. The attitude of the staffs was not gentle. I asked one of them to click a photo with my small sis and he nodded his head saying no. I read this place serves authentic Chinese, not Indian Chinese.. and that’s exactly what I got. So that was a ✅ <br/><br/>The service could have been better. I like asking for speciality at a restaurant and when they can’t answer that or answer that with everything is special, it doesn’t help.<br/><br/>The experience so far had been just okay but what dipped it was the leftovers that I asked for being packed away were packed for me in a used container (evident from the faded label printed on the container) - this despite charging me for packaging. 😳<br/>

The noodles became sticky and too thick in no time. The gravy was very thick, slimy too. I had to return the dish and requested for adding some taste, but it was of not much help. I think its my favorite Chinese restaurant in town. I had gone there twice and each time i had tried different food items. They serve you the perfect chinese cuisine in Guwahati. Chinese lovers must have a try of this restaurant. I love the bar spot. I have never seen crowds, its not so overfilled during day time. The service is great, people are friendly and welcoming from the time you entre. Coming to food its simple not that spicy. You have to ask for spicy food or add spice to your food plate. The drinks are bit expensive than the taste. I love the starters i love the main course. Their chicken dishes are very tender and juices.

The place has a very calm ambience and is great for high end parties. Expensive but has really good food. Would recommend for anniversaries and important parties.

Visited on 24th January with family. The menu is delectable. The food is of good quality. Serving is prompt and overall it is a hygienic place. Although cost is a bit more than other contemporary restaurants, it is worth the extra amount spent. Recommended and would love to visit again.

Place is good, with good service. The food was also good if compared to a proper Chinese restaurant. Had both rice and noodles, but the rice tasted better. Also if you are veg, do try the veg drumsticks. For the first time a saw a veg drumstick which did taste awesome as well.

Authentic chines cuisine with excellent service ..we went for a late night dinner and ordered some soup & lat mat kai chicken - a popcorn chicken version with scallions - Chinese chopsuey and were thoroughly pleased .. quite , comfortable set up over looking the road .. though beer was out of stock and I found the place a bit pricey .. definitely a must visit to cure those oriental cravings

Had a superb lunch over here. Service was good n less time consuming. well mannered n well dressed staff. Interior decoration is too gud with wall decors n hangings n attractive also. Hygienic environment. we ordered hot steamed rice with garlic flavoured chickn gravy n smoked pork with chilli n pepperbells that was vry spicy. Subtle ambience....good food and decent price.... must try the crispy lamb....it's awesome. One peculiar thing is that the restaurant tells that service charge of 10% is voluntary but they add it automatically to ur bill... so if u don't want to pay since gst has already been in force.. have a look at ur bill before paying

I liked almost everything about this place, right from the first greet of the service staff till their last courtesies. The pork items are to die for i must say, my favourite had to be the dry roast pork. Also, I must not forget to mention the thai red curry. The gravy was smooth with tender chunks of chicken, it also had a little hint of sweetness that came from the finely cut bell peppers. Did i just forget to mention starters? Soft and tender shrimps melted in my mouth. And the wontons, i can guarantee you wouldn't find such wontons in town. Dining at Red Hot Chilli Peppers had been an wonderful culinary experience for me. I recommend it to all thai and Chinese food lovers!

We went for dinner, and started with starters- Fire cracker chicken (pic missing, was so hungry, forgot to clicked). That was so delicious, thought of trying another starter- Crispy Prawn Garlic Pepper, then Lat Mai Kai. Starters we're so good, didn't thought of trying main course. And finally ended with Darsaan. Had a great gastronomic experience. Will visit again before leaving Assam.

Really bad service. Don't know how to behave with the customer. I don't know what was hurry for them to keep calling us to give the order. One of them were really very rude with us. Only the food is the factor which we liked. In my past experiences, i used to like the food as well as the service about that restaurant but today was a really bad experience for me. Never gonna recommend my friends or relatives about it.

Very very bad service... They can't handle too many customers at a time.. Plus the waiters are too rude on customers face... Plz try to improve your services...

Nice little place for hanging out with friends and family. Ambience is quite good and service is also ok. Food quality is good, although choices are pretty limited specially for vegetarians. Overall, I nice little place for Chinese food.

Nice place ....for a quiet n peaceful dinner ....if Chinese food is on your mind! Nice Chinese restaurant near ganeshguri ....parking might be a problem out here.<br/>Food- most of the items we tried r tasty. Presentation is nice. It serves pork n sea food items. Price is on slightly higher side. serves alcohol...they have an elaborate bar menu...price is at par ..or slightly higher than most standard bars in Guwahati.they do give complementary snacks like peanuts n salad with drinks.<br/>Ambience-its well decorated and well lighted place..they could have made lighting little dim on few places!...wud have been nice.<br/>They do have a smoking area.<br/>Service- it's decent. No complains regarding service.<br/>Overall nice place to try Chinese food with alcohol in a peaceful way and u are happy enough to spend some extra bucks!

Classy ambience. I went there with my friends and we ordered blue lagoon , the taste was quite good later on we went to have our main course where we ordered for prawn chow altogether with dry chilli chicken . Literally i didn''t find any pieces of prawn but egg. Moreover they should improve or re-check their hospitality. Not a good experience though.

One of the Favrt places whenever need to go out... The food is quite good and once your are there I am pretty sure you will give a second visit as well...

Nice place... Very good ambience.. quite reasonable pricing compared with the standards. Chinese is really good.. you should try there speciality ie the chefs choice.. you will like the ambience.

This is a decent enough place if you are craving for some quality Chinese food. The sea food items are a bit substandard, but other than that food is pretty good. Classy interior, with comfortable seating arrangements. Bar prices are a little expensive. Service is slow, and the waiters seem to be more interested in the tv rather than attending customers.

Great food love the interior. Loved the tum yum soup which was properly tangy flavoured. The service is appreciable. Would like to visit again.
