Review Loyans Bakery & Confectionery - Guwahati

Has to be one of the best bakery in the city of Guwahati. Serving one of a kind cakes and pastries, they taste unforgettable. They have the most fresh and fluffy range of breads. The savoury items are delicacies, wide range to choose from. This place is definitely a must visit. The cheesecake and the cheese filled bun are out of the world creations.

Located opposite Hub mall, Bhangagarh,GS road. It serves variety of pasties, cakes, muffins , patties, pizza and other confectionary items. The pastries here contain eggs which makes it tastier. If you are a looking for eggless pastries, they have 2 options i. Choco Truffle ii. Butterscotch Wheras the whole cake ( 1kg ) options are eggless. I tried the Choco dessert along with Red velvet and Choco Truffle which were great. Seating options : not available , you have to stand and eat. Drinking water: A dispenser is available for drinking water. Washroom: not available Parking: street parking available or else you can park under the Bhangagarh Bridge.

Located opposite of hub, just like other loyans outlet, this too provides well cooked bakery products. One must try the carrot cake muffin and their wide variety of cookies. Hygiene is well maintained and staff behavior satisfactory.

1st its pretty well decorated, has ample space to move and eat. Has variety of options in pastries. Also has snack like patties rolls etc. Has collection of biscuits and flavoured breads. Also it provides tea coffee. And quality is A1. Really love the pastries of Loyan's.

Loyans. One of the renowned brand of bakery and confectionery in the city of Guwahati. This very particular outlet has been opened up recently. They sell delicious and good varieties of cookies. In search of Freshly baked breads and cakes, this loyans is worth it. They have amazing and classical options of cakes & patisseries to try. We tried plain Donut and Death by choco. Donut was really plain topped with fine sugary crystals. Donut was fresh & tasty, but chocolate or any kind of sauce is a must requirement. Talking about the Death by choco, it was really delicious and one won't devour constant chocolatey taste but will also find light salty as well as mild chocolatey caramelly cream to burst out the flavours. One of the best bakeries in Guwahati. The place is loaded with diverse collection of cookies, bread, pastries, etc. The place also boasts of a waffle counter. Ambiance is great and salesman are quite polite and helpful. The items are quite fresh.

Pastry and bakery items are so tasty

They got a good variety of cakes, pastries and cupcakes. Their chicken pasta is good. They serve it hot and well packed . Moreover you can try their freshly baked cookies. My favorite one is honeycomb cookies. They also got peanut butter cookies, jeera cookies. Their chocolava red velvet cupcake is soft and creamy. A must try one . And also for simple pastries try the buttercream pastry and white forest.

Nice and clean atmosphere. Friendly staff. Delicious food stuff specially the pastries and biscuits. Availability of items varies according to the shop centers in different places. But well maintained.

Place is Clean but items are limited . Store also looks like empty as if they keep only limited stocks. Staff behaviour needs to be changed as they are not at all freindly. Overall location wise it is at nice place but it is in corner of a building so many passing by car couldn't notice it

Items are delicious but slightly more expensive if you compare the food item's size. Other bakeries pastries and rolls are a bit bigger than loyans and cheaper in price.<br/>But most annoying experience is one of the female staff actually tries to keep the change with herself twice! Loyans' always amazes me with there cakes which is really very tasty. I always recommend about Loyans to everyone when we need a cake. A little expensive but worth the price.

I would say I had never had any better pastries in guwahati.They are soo soft and soo special.The cold coffee is also good but pastries & cakes are awesome.

One of the best bakeries in guwahati however giving only 3 stars because what we ordered was below average. <br/>1. The newyork cheeseslice, was pathetic. The taste and the size was not worth it <br/>2. The chocochip vanilla, was not worth 55 rupees , it was not moist and lacking in all aspects. <br/><br/>Apart from that ,the staff at the uzan bazaar branch are very rude. ( especially the cashier who has a wierd obsession with not wanting to provide change ) <br/><br/>Because of the above points i have cut 2 stars otherwise generally loyans is a great place for all your baked goods. Small place. Self service. Pastries and rolls are superb especially the chicken tikka roll. Pre booking of cakes on birthdays and anniversaries are done here. It serves you freshly baked cakes and taste is superb.

I AM A CAKE LOVER!<br/>I went to this cake shop more than 10 to 15 times now I had tried almost all the pastries from there and had purchased cake one time (just loved the cake)<br/>I must say they have the best collection of cakes and pastries in Guwahati.<br/>I wish they could open a branch of their in BONGAIGAON too... When went to this place for a peaceful hangout, but the way your workers treat the customers is the worst. They dont know the etiquette how to talk to people. They are rude and disrespectful. I been to this place so many times but have always faced a attitude problem from your workers. I will not ever visit this place in my life.

I literally adore the food here. Being a big choco and dessert lover, I have a tasted a lot of different desert here, and loved all them. Snack are also delicious. Specially the chicken pasta and chicken quiche. I love the rum ball 😍

It's an over hyped place. I ordered a birthday cake today and when I reached to collect , they told me it has melted and was sent back to their bakery. While waiting to get it redone, tried their much hyped red velvet slice which tasted stale. It's not the first time though, about a year ago, pastries from their zoo road outlet has also tasted stale. So they have maintained the consistency of stale items through out their outlets and over the years too. God knows how many days their food items stay in the display cabinet. Their chicken quiche is good though, but can't guarantee the freshness, given their policy in the sweet items.

The cakes here tastes really good. And there are a variety of bakery items to choose from. It's a good place to satisfy someone's sweet tooth.

Where the city is full of expert home bakers, professional places like these are now required to upgrade their quality of food. The cream frosting they use in their pastries is definitely not the best. Other baked items are good.

Loyans uzanbazar runs out of nepkins everytime . Since they dont have a basin for handwash having available nepkins is desirable , if not , they should close the bakery because the customers find it inconvinient. Its a shame for not looking aftr customers convinience evn aftr being reknown bakery in the city . Poor management.

This place has always been my favorite. Few days back when I visited this place,tried their roll and pastry.The chicken roll is super delicious.And so is the butter scotch pastry.

The cakes are really good. My favourites are Mango cheese cake and Cheese Puffs. Place is small for sitting, but I have never seen it crowded. Shwarma roll and Veg burger are good under salty category. Cheese pasta is cheap but not so tasty.

I loved their food. The quality and pricing was good. I tried their green tea pastry and honestly I can never forget its innovative taste. The muffins were heavenly.

If there's one pastry shop which serves you scrumptious desserts without burning a hole in your pocket and most importantly without tasting like those cheap cakes with an icing with weird oily taste that sticks to your tongue, or those that smell so darn eggy(I don't like the smell of eggs anyway), or those which are way too dried out, or way too sweet, or those with uneven textures: chewy at the centre, burnt at the bottom etc etc. No you get rich cakes with various options of flavors that could definitely satisfy your sweet tooth. And since I'm a chocoholic, the chocolate mud cake is hands down my favorite! I could have that for breakfast,lunch and dinner! The only couple of critique I have for Loyan's is that they probably could up their game so far as their savory items are concerned. However the quiche,pasta and wraps could do a little better. Pathetic staffs. Misbehaving attitude<br/><br/>Ordered two choco filled cheese cakes and charged me for the same. But provided a veg burger instead of the cakes.<br/>When complained about the same, they denied the fact that I ordered veg burger. Looking forward for better services. They have agreed for refund, but its not about the money. Ordered the cake for my niece. She waiting eagerly for me to reach home with pastry.

Being claimed as one of the best in town, Loyans holds on to it's reputation. The cakes and pastries are yummy and the snacks are also very good. The ambiance is nice and the place is well maintained and decorated well, and hygienic as well.

Loyans changed the bakery scene in Guwahati. This is the first outlet and is tucked away inside a cozy cottage in Uzan Bazaar. Their Chocolate Truffle is your best bet in pastries and their Crispy Chicken Roll in savouries. Almost everything off their menu is very filling. They are also very accommodating in customising your orders for special cakes.

It will be around more than 6/7 years that i have been going to this place. This place only started the pastry revolution in guwahati 😂 sounds funny. Bt itz true. Before loyans there were many pastry shops but not good quality and at such reasonable prices. Apart from the sweet section the salty sections is remarkable too.

When it first opened some 5-6 years back, I used to go to this place weekly. I loved their pastries, tarts and even the savory items. But with time, I think the quality has degraded. The pastries are too heavy, that smoothness and lightness is no more. And even the savory ones have lost their taste. I guess they should really start re focusing on their food quality.

They provide you with custom made cakes for various occasions..weddings, x-mass, bday etc. Quality wise I would say its unmatched. Price is on the higher side but that doesn't keep anyone from enjoying the goodness of the bakery king. Only problem with this joint is space but then it was never built as a cafeteria. Kudos to the entire Loyans team!

Apple Pie was good but the Blueberry Cheese cake was a Major let down! Wasn't expecting them to be serving week old desserts..tasted horrible and gave off a funny smell.

Been here quite a few times with friends. I do like the food they serve but i found the sitting arrangements improper, seems pretty congested to me. Went to this joint many a times .the seating space is a bit conjusted but well upto the mark. good to have a conversation over a cup of tea,coffee with the wide range of cakes and snacks. the sandwich in brown bread is one of my fav along with the red velvet cake.chickem quinch is also a must try. Good thing is that if you take a car,you can find a parking spot near to it.

Much as i love the variety of desserte at this place, I always have to step out empty handef because they NEVER ever have change for a 500/1000. They say that i have to order for at least 200 for them to return change.

A very nice bakery with a variety of options to choose from. Their specialty is obviously the very good quality cakes. I got different cakes from Loyans over a period of almost five years and all the cakes were very good. Very recently I got a chocolate mocha cake (which happens to be my wife and my favourite) and it was superb!<br/><br/>Apart from the cakes the other fare on offering are equally good, right from the cookies to the pies and the puff. Every city needs one of these true-blue bakeries. Way to go Loyans!

I order for cakes from them because it's walking distance from my place and my family loves their cakes .. Whenever there is some kind of occasions in the house a cake from Loyans is a must .. <br/>Fresh fruit cake, dry fruit cake , chocolate cake is yummy .. I love their chicken burger and Chicken patty 😋😋 also not to miss their cold coffee , lemon tart and fresh fruit tart awesome ... Overall love it 👍

One of the best bakeries in town! The pastries are really nice and soft, with the right amount of sweetness. The red velvet cake is my favourite. The cheesecakes are also good. Apart from their pastries, the herbed chicken pocket and chicken sandwich are also my favorite.

Of late, we have become regular customers here. The location is great for parking the vehicle and going in for a quick bite. Just like the other outlets, this one too is great with the food, of course it being loyans. They have enough seating arrangements, water cooler etc.. I have always liked to go to this place whenever I needed instant food.<br/>However, the last time I went in, they had hired many new people. There were at least 15 employees in that little shop and yet they asked the order 4-5 times, individually, referred to the bill and still mixed up the order. And they underheated my herbed chicken pocket. Newbies I guess, too many cooks spoiled the broth. Hope they level up soon.

This Uzan Bazar branch offers a very cosy and warm, cafeteria next door kind of ambience which is perfect for having a cup of coffee along with your choice of condiment or snack. However these days, I visit their branch at Dispur, due to its proximity to my place, which unfortunately doesnot offer such luxury owing to the constraint of space. Its a no secret that one of the best cakes in this town has to come from the ovens of Lyons, however I personally prefer their snacks and would recommend others to try the herbed chicken pockets once.

Familiar with the Uzanbazaar branch. Its all about cakes and pastries. You can't go wrong here. Trust me. Tried cakes at multiple locations throughout ghy but this is a place with loveable cakes 💞

Loyan's virtually changed the cake market in Guwahati. Now there are 4 outlets all over the city n I have been to the Uzanbazar & Chandmari branches. Their moist cakes are too good n irresistable.l, specially the Red Velvet. Also, the snacks are good too. Like to visit it often.

I will strongly recommend you to visit this place if you are looking for a good bakery. I have tasted their snacks and cake. They are awesome. Price is very modest.

Love this bakery in all of Guwahati. Be it the melt in the mouth chicken Quiches or soft Red velvet cake. Though I love the Uzan Bazar the most, I am glad that they have opened outlets across the city... Keep going strong!<br/>

I am a frequent visitor here. I love there desserts specifically. However I tried their snacks and beverages too. They are equally good and worth.

I am a frequent visitor to Loyans and do enjoy their cakes,biscuits,etc..the only exception is their patties which are big in size but low on taste.Do go here and my hunch is you'll keep going back..again and again.
