Review Reboti Chat House - Guwahati

Bhaskar J Chintey
Opens around 11 am but mostly you would get the full menu by noon. Very old food joint (almost 15 years+) near Panbazaar Old Water Tank. Servers are local and once you are polite and gentle to them they would become friendly sometimes ensure you get extra special care in the food ordered (more quantity, customization etc.) Go for the Reboti Special Chicken Roll or Reboti Special Chow Half.
Nati
I tried veg chow and chicken roll. Both arrived immediately and was tasty and the best value for money

Good food.Chaomin of Reboti is very famous. I ate over thousand times time here. This is one of the oldest in Guwahati. One may get fast foods like chowmin or rolls quickly and price is less in comparison with other fast food joint at Guwahati. It's a place for remembrance for students who studied in institutions near by. They have been maintaining since decades now. It is a small eatery in Pan Bazaar. It remains crowded especially in evening hours. Snacks can be ordered here on a reasonable price. The service was quick. Amidst the hustle bustle of Pan Bazaar, Reboti Chat House is a delightful casual dining that will amuse you. With an outspread menu that is fairly priced, It's definitely worth a visit more than once. Visit here in the company of friends and family for lip smacking food and some fun times. Address Nagkata Pukhuri, Near Don Bosco School, M L Nehru Road, Pan Bazaar, Guwahati

Very Good place for fast food(lunch), having the beautiful location near pond. People enjoy food in very tiny place & view of pond. Not a good place with kid because huge traffic near the restaurant.
Munmi Gohain
Budget friendly fast food with a good taste. But you have be patience until your turn ....as the place is rushy.
Tiru Mothukuri
Tried Chicken Chowmein. It is fresh, yummy, delicious and mouth watering . Staff were polite and friendly. Place is clean. Would recommend
Toshal Pedamkar
For the price it served some good chow mein.
Harshita Chatterjee
The food is great especially the rolls, though not the best place to eat in, I'd suggest take away. They did get my order mixed up, but quickly fixed it and made me the right order soon enough.
Utpal Borgohain
Ordered reboti special chicken roll ,the taste was good and cost was around 100 bucks

The place has historical significance and it's very famous among folks in Guwahati. Speaking about the pros, it's situated at the most busiest place so it automatically attracts many people, it has good food specially chowmein and rolls a must have from here and they have their special sauces and chutney which elevate the taste. Now speaking about the cons the place is really small and infrastructure should get an upgrade considering how much the restaurant makes in a day and a major disappointment i had here is that they sell glass bottle slice which has an MRP of ₹14 but they charge ₹20. So overall it's a good place but this extra charging stuff that's totally unethical.

Best Chowmein available in Guwahati. Parking available. Must visit
Fusion Dots

Prangan Kalita
Quality and taste of deteriorated 🥲
Rupam Sarma
One of the most popular and oldest chat house in Guwahati, Established in 1987. Chowmein, Rolls test so delicious.
Vivek Anand
Pretty cool chow and roll.. I can see why people come here again and again. The roll was okay and the chow is basically chow.. But it's still a very good chow.. I don't know about the ambience but if you want to have chow have it here...
The Robust Foodie
Its been quite sometime since I visited this place. Apart from its ambiance, I still cannot get over the divine taste of chicken chowmein. I never tried other items as this owns my heart. I recommend everyone to try it.
Adarsh Kejriwal
This place has the best chow available in Guwahati but is very small and unhygenic. The storage of water is even kept in open and has no shed which could contaminate it anytime
Chandramita
One of the oldest in town, the Service is quick, it is usually full. The amount of the food they serve according to price is okay. They need to maintain hygiene.
Priyanka Das
One of the oldest yet impressive fast food corner of the city. Its cozy. Dont expect the 21st century music and abstract wall art or mind wracking quotes but the food is love..
Foodonfootghy
An okayish place for a quick bite. This place has been there forever and is quite popular among all ages. Quite a busy place in the evening hours.
Antara Dutta
One of the oldest fast food outlet. Been there so many times and still love to go when you crave for a plate full of chowmein. Although place is not fancy like others but the food is yumm and it always will be my favorite.

People who are rating this place 5 star must be really bad at tasting food... There's nothing good about this place..full of mosquitoes, unhygienic... Price for a full plate noodles is ₹90 which is nothing special... Pay a bit more and eat at a restaurant...atleast you would get a decent place to sit and eat without donating blood to mosquitoes... Just because of nostalgia people are rating 5 stars... Nostalgia doesn't taste good
Gyandeep Bhattacharjya
Really an lips making experince, their chowmein is awesome..ambience is not fancy but quantity is very satisfactory ,quality is abit poor, service is prompt, very cheap

happpy fooding peeps 😊😊😊
..

What do i tell you about this place, kind of grew up eating here and i am finally priviledged to write about it.. Chicken chowmein or chow chow is what i would die for they also serve good rolls,Please dont judge the place by its look you might miss something great by not eating there, its reasonable and everyones favourite.
JD
A place full of childhood memories. Their chicken chowmein is the best. The taste is amazing and the price is very reasonable. The place is always crowded due to their amazing food quality and quantity. Service is quite quick. Love this place ❤
Sulaxmi Borah
I visited this place for the first time when I was a kid. It's quite an old place feels nostalgic.. still the same taste of the chowmein. They serve hot n very quick service.

Kapil
One of the oldest fast food joints in Guwahati. Go their to try out their signature Chicken Chowmein. Do not expect gourmet style food or very fancy food. It is street style food and it is best authentic Guwahati street food available. The place has maintained the same old design and standard from the old times. Hop in to dive into the past where your parents used to hang out.

There was a time when the name Reboti, was once synonymous with chow-chow(noodles), rolls and chole-bhature! It may have been the first place where our parents and seniors have had their first chowmein of their life!
This place was a regular hangout for students from all the nearby schools and colleges...who wanted a super quick meal at a very cheap price.
When I frequented this place around 10-15 years ago, ...the price of the food items were quite low...and thus they didn't have much competition.
I had visited this place recently again and I felt the costs are similar to many other restaurants.
Coming to food...the chowmein is still the same, cooked with a lot of cheap vegetable oil and cabbages and carrots...few pieces of pre fried chicken and egg. Taste is quite average.
I am quite concerned about the hygiene and cleanliness of the place. They should either use some alternative disposable plates or atleast wash their used plates properly.

Overall, I revisited this place just for the nostalgic effect, but I feel they should improvise their business and try to provide better and hygenic food to the customers.
Debabrat Sharma
Been to this place many times with my friends. Its not an expensive place. The chat house is the oldest of all in the city. The place has benches to sit. The items that I have tasted are chicken chowmein and reboti spl chicken chowmein. The ambience of the place is not that good but the quality of the food items covers up the negativity for the ambience.

Overall Rating:
Staff Service: 4/5
Food Quality: 4/5
Guwahati_food_blogger
Reboti need not need any definition...the name itself holds an emotion.... tasty and budgeted.... if anyone is missing this food joint then seriously you are missing a hell lot of taste buds...do try there.... !!!!!
Gargi Kalita
Everyone knows about reboti chat house! Few days ago I went there for the first time and ordered what it is famous for, chowmin. Even tough the chow was not bad it was not that delicious too. The same thing can be found at other food corners of Guwahati.
Puravee Bordoloi
I'm not a noddle lover. But this is the place where I love to eat chow😃. Both Quality & quantity is just perfect. One of the old & Pocket friendly fast-food stall in the city.
Sunayana Sen
Don't go with the looks and the ambiance.
Just gobble down your favourite food with chilly sauce as it lands on your hands. 😋😋
They make the food a bit oily, but thats okay, coz' street food are seldom healthy.😄
Lovely place to fill your tummy when ur pocket is tight.😂😋😋
Anjuman Mech
It's quite an old place and I must say that its running and thriving brilliantly. The atmosphere is filled with the smell of the frying goods and is more or less, always busy.
The food is good and the service is nice too. The prices are also reasonable with the amount they serve. You can clearly agree with one visit that this is a grab-a-quick-bite kind of place or hang-with your - gang kind of place. Thumbs up!
The North-Eastern Chronicle
You need to visit this place if you are a big time foodie. This place is existing since time immemorial and they serve the best noodles and rolls to satisfy your tastebuds. Prices are pocket friendly.

No offence to those who have already posted positive reviews on this place but frankly speaking i had the worst earing experience here....
The place is really unhygienic. The way they prepare the food and u can see massive water hyacinth growing right behind the shop....
Oh yhe food!! Its PATHETIC....i would say a person who has never been to the kitchen could also make tastier stuffs than here....whatever u order u get a plateful of sh*t and nothing else..and in that case quantity doesnt make any place....
The place is stinky always....the staff is irresponsive and really rude and the sitting area is not comfortable at all....if u can see the condition of the place u can yourself figure out the prices which still didnt alter my opinion as there are too many similar places nearby bt u get at least good food
All in all i see not a single positive aspect of this place....perhaps long way in the past it had a good reputation but at today's times when u have so many other food stalls and restaurants around i am sure y wont make a mistake to walk in here and get something in your stomach....

What to say about the oldest fast food point of the city where my dad also visited when he was in college. The taste here is unique, the quantity and quality are definitely good .Its a one of a kind restaurant. You will get the old feels of Panbazar once u enter the stall. Students from the colleges nearby and also the employees of nearby corporate houses do come to have a tasty delicious delicacy out here. A must visit place ..Most of the people donot visit the place because of its hygiene! But if it changes its ambience to modern day look then it will fall prey to a few customers!.
Bhukha Prani (Avinash)
Located in Panbazar this place is historically significant. The place is frequented mostly by college students, office goers and also people who visit it for nostalgia sake.
I have visited this place mostly for its chow, both chicken and egg. The rolls are good too. A half plate Chicken Chow will fill you up but will not cost much. The plates are filled too the brim with good amount of chow, big chicken chunks, onions and cabbage. The Egg Chow is similar with healthy amount of eggs. The Special Reboti Chow comes with both egg and chicken and I would recommend that. The service is good and fast.
There are some benches to sit without any tables. The cooking area can be seen from the sitting area. The place is clean but won't rate it high on being hygienic.
In short it is a fast food stall with good chow and rolls with little concern for hygiene. Visit the place for its tasty Chicken and Egg Chow and Rolls.

Maje maje khabo jao.. Kintu dudin ekerahe khale pet beya huatu sure.. And plz avoid the home made chili chutney that they serve.. Olop unhygienic hoi. Still it is a famous place. Aru ata kotha khana tu olop besie daam loi neki. Ek plate chowt taku benchot bohi khai prai ek kho toka ata dibo olop besie jen lage..

If you are a noodle lover, you must definitely visit this place. Reboti Chat House serves you delicious noodles and the price is quite reasonable. The thing that depresses me about this place is about its hygiene. Improvement can be made on this. Above all, you get good food.
Subhrajeet Chakraborty
Really nice food served very promptly. The chilli sauce is simply lip smacking. The Chicken roll is very delicious. It also a place with a lot of nostalgia for a lot of folks
Smita Deka
They serve fast food and are delicious and cheap too... the only problem here is the sitting arrangement... if you haven't tried their chowmin yet then go nd try...😊

Another famous place of Guwahati which has been around for a long time. One of the oldest "stalls" on the food scene, this place has fans who swear by its name. Famous for its rolls and chow it remains packed with people who can't get enough of its offerings. Ambience, menu be forgotten it's the food that counts when talking about this place. I sincerely hope it continues its beautiful journey of offering delicious food to its customers at pocket friendly prices. Cheers!
Risa Kalita
A small outlet in the very busy lane of panbazaar. Afternoon time, if you happen to be around here can find lots of people all the space is fully occupied most of the time, having chow and roll. There cold drinks are available too.
My personal favourite is chicken roll.
Very reasonable. You can not expect too high standardised place it to be. But it always interesting to try the local yet popular spot in the city.
Er. Joti Mohar Das
Might be the oldest restaurant everybody of my age have a beautiful sweet memories coz that time chow means reboti restaurant. But today its totally unhygienic place where plates and spoons are not cleaned properly.

Nostalgia!!!!!! The perfect word people would associate with this eatery.. Centrally located, Pocket friendly prices and good food is all Reboti is about.. The chowmein and rolls are almost legendary.. But strangely, what attracts me to this place is their legendary chutney, which is kept in ketchup bottles and adds to the taste of the dishes..
Arishma Medhi
This place has got a feeling . The famous chowmein from this place . Its so pocket friendly . And the quantity is so so so good. The taste is so yummylicious .

Priya Bharali
I really love this place and enjoy its chow mein. I have always found it packed with people from all age groups. It can satisfy your taste buds in a pocket friendly way......😋. Although they are providing very tasty food at very low cost, they should try to improve the sitting place slightly.....😀.
Maddy
Very famous,oldest,pocket friendly outlet...
Have grown up eating their chowmein....remains packed up during lunch hours.... chicken roll is superb staff with lots of chicken chunks....U can try their chicken omlette too...u wont regret.
Abhinash
I went there for the last time in 2008 i think. When i first ate there in 2001, the price of veg chowmein was just Rs 10. We used to top our plates with loads and loads of raw onions and cabbage that they used to provide !!! Its just a nostalgia place. I don't think i will be able to eat there again because the quality is quite low. However, its a boon for the students with their limited pocket money :-)

Quality of food: 2/5
Value for money: 5/5
Ambience: 2/5
Location: 4/5
Hygiene: 0/5

Growing up, this place has been nothing short of legendary. Situated next to Nakkata pukhuri in Panbazar, this place has been renowned for their cheap, filling and scrumptious food. Ever since I could remember, Reboti chat house was a must stop whenever we needed to swing by the area and the ritual is still carried out religiously by my family. The quality of chowmein has deteriorated over time however the amount of chowmein and chicken pieces they put into it is really good. All in all, a good stop for some snacking in the evening.

Well I have only one word to describe this place that's nostalgia. This was the place where I satisfied most of my childhood hunger.Be it with my parents or with my buddies, that taste of the chowmein and rolls still linger in my nose and mind and throw me down to the memory lanes. So the first thing I do whenever I come to my hometown Guwahati is to visit this legendary gem and taste their goodies.
Jeff ( ZaFaR) Navas
It's a legendary place .. a awesome place to have chow and it's yummy and it's very pocket friendly.. a well known place for cotton college folks and those who pass by pan bazar .. it's a must try ..
Ria
It has changed. Not the same as before. The taste of the chowmein is same but quantity has lessened. Before the plate was full of chunks of chicken but now they give so less chicken. Went there 2-3 days back. The staff is friendly as usual but food quantity is less now. And as usual the place remains packed no matter what time of the day 😅
Nilutpal Timsina
Quality is not same like old days. One of the famous stop for Cottonians, Bosconians and others. Quantity of noodles is mind blowing, can work in the place of lunch. Must visit this place.
Tituraj Kashyap
Its just not only about food here. There is much more. Tucked by the side of Nakkata Pukhuri, this is an iconic place for students of the city. Stories are abound here, of belonging, of love, of love & of friendship. The smell, taste & look of their food is idiosyncratic that anyone can figure it out. I know more people, who despite their busy schedule, will sneak out time to pay a visit to this gastronomical shrine once in a while. It really matters when the quality of the food they serve has remained constant all these years. But my review may be coloured by beautiful memories & nostalgia about this place etched in my mind. Happy to go there anytime & order half a plate of chicken chow!
Rimzim Lahkar
This place, though small, has been always famous for their chowmein. You can't miss their chowmein and the great thing is, the food is cheap. The quality has deteriorated with time, but the amount of chicken shreds is impressive. One plate of chowmein is enough for two people with normal appetite. They also serve good rolls. The service is fast. Remains crowded in the afternoons and evenings.
Atlanta Talukdar
It is one of the renowned and old fast food joints of guwahati situated near the famous Nakkatapukhuri best known for noodles and rolls. Have the same excellent taste, quality of the food since ages. Very fast service. One can have price worth fresh food.
Dhritiman Sharma
Some places are pure nostalgia. Reboti is one of those iconic eateries that have been in guwahati for a long time. Service is fast and furious and the best item for me over the years has been the chicken chow. Half plate is enough for one person. Also the rolls are a must try. The green chilly sauce that they make themselves can be termed as hells juice coz it is so spicy. I love it though
Kaushik
I haven't come across anyone who grew up in the 90s in Guwahati who haven't had food at this place. Best visited in a group with friends or young family members
Chinmoy
One of the most "historical" restaurant in ghy is reboti. Situated near the small pond which is known as nakkata pukhuri... Reboti is always been famous for its chow roll etc... but in the recent years it has lost his charm .. I hope its regain its popularity once again
Gargi Deka
Every Guwahatian have tried this place atleast once. Their chow is famous as hell. Been visiting this place since my toddler days with my parents. Even now if whenever i get a chance i never skip past this place. A Hearty Plate of Chicken chow in 50 bucks with that old school taste how can anyone miss it. Ambience is still the same. Obviously itz high time they renovate a little bit.
Rupa Gogoi
Very poor hygiene. Not an impressive ambience. Nonetheless the service was quick and efficient, and the food was satisfactory. Good and affordable for a quickly bite.
Monoj
Awesome chowmien , it's my all time favourite ...it's always crowded anytime ..and the service is fast and good . I always love to eat here ..pocket friendly good street food ..
Ripunjoy Goswami
My fav spot for chowmin, specially veg chow..... the sauces were homemade ( the chili sauce is my fav ) . One can find the crunch of vegetables which is mostly missing in other stalls and restrauents.
But the place is little dark and must improve the sitting arrangement. It should be reboot into a nice restrauent....... Otherwise A must go for any guwahatian

i dnt knw y ppl like this street food shop. its unhygienic nd cheap. if u want a thik thak plus cheap chowmein , if u r a student then u cn visit. but if u can spend little bit more money plus want a neat and clean food then i suggest u to visit restaurants like quick pick, chinese hut, tiffin ....
Aarav Roy
I went along with my friend Bedanga Saikia, it was crowded and you need to wait for a while to get ur order. I sat there I realised this wasn't where I am suppose to be. I just got said no when our Roll arrived. I said to them I can't eat that, it was maida and it was dripping in oil which it seemed they have not changed since ages. Oil which is again reheated is dangerous I think many restaurants might do it, but this crossed all levels of unhygienic conditions. Sorry to all foodies who love this place but this is not my type. I wish such place don't exists, it's gives cheap food but it's not good for our health, no wonder why we Indians are not physically fit if we keep eating in places like these. There was nothing in that Roll, a Puri that they fry in oil and put omelette on it that's it. So much oil I can use it for one whole month on my hair.
Fat_ninza_alvina
another legend right in the middle of the city!
though the taste has come down a bit over time, as it is i have been eating here sincle last 25 years!
but somehow something special still remains. do try their chicken roll apart from the noodles!
bet you wont be disappointed, and everything under 100 bucks :D
Foodieforeverandever23/Kabyashree
Reboti is old is gold kind of a place... Less maintained but serves you amazingly awesome food
I love their chicken noodles and the chicken roll... Me and my Father always go for a evening walk and gets lot of packings from their and get back home very fast on foot (as we were out for walking ) ... I really miss being to this place and my father ...
Kkkishore
My guilty pleasure place since my girl doesn't allow me to visit this eatery. While I enjoy a plate of chicken chowmein there itself, I never forget to pack one more plate.
The prices are really affordable and taste quantity wise its the best place one could go for chicken chowmein.
Many have here reviewed regarding their rolls to be good but to say I never had their rolls even though I have been their customer since 2010. I never gave it a try as I always go there making appetite for the chow.
Hygiene wise its a concern but not for guys like me, after all the taste matters.
Hrishiraj Talukdar
This joint can be truly be called as 'old is gold'. The taste of the chowmein is simply amazing..the chutney along with it is also lovely. Although the some people may not like the look of this joint. Ambiance if you ask i can give around 2/5.but the taste 4.5/5. The price also has increased to a great extent.one plate of mixed chowmein is rs 100 now.but the quantity and the taste is really good.if you are from guwahati, assam or anywhere from the world.just try out this very old joint. Am sure you will not be disappointed with it.
De Specialist
Well... They should rename this joint as " Nostalgia" . Located at equidistant from cotton collagiate and don bosco, this joint has been the hunger buster for kids and adults alike. " Nak kota pukhuri" is the water body above which this wonderful joint is located. Food quality is almost the same. I visited this place like 10 years later n heavens!!! it brought back old memories from when I was a kid. My love for this place will always remain exactly d same like wen I was a kid.

Tip for tummy : Ignore the ambiance , hygiene! This place has sentimental value for 80s kids in Guwahati
Rahul N.
Reboti is a very old eatery located right in the middle of many schools, colleges and book shops. The menu is fairly limited with varieties of chowmein and rolls. They seem to have lost out on Flavour and Taste with time. Its the same soya sauce/aginomoto based recipes you would get at any small eatery. I believe its the nostalgia and not the food which still brings people to Reboti.
Sujay Bharadwaj
This place is legendary. Next to the swamp, erstwhile a beautiful pond. Known for its famous Chowmein, just need to find a place to sit and you can hog on rolls and noodles to your delight.
Prasanna Baruah
I would suggest people to turn a blind eye on Reboti Chat house when they're passing by this place...
Yes this has a lot of nostalgia associated with it (even for me as this was the place I used to visit when I was in Shankar Academy to grab a quick bite for almost nothing) but thats in the past recently this place is in absolute shambles, the place is dirty and unhygienic the food is oily and the taste too is like something we associate with old and stale food..
For all the history and nostalgia associated with so many people of guwahati this is the perfect pretext to do business for the owners (which for me is sad)...
Drishana
Reboti is thriving more on nostalgia than anything else. I had visited it during my cotton college days like most. The recent visits made me cringe with all the rats and grimy plates (which are just dipped in the dirty pond water). Taste is also very average. With so many eateries around, I doubt if fans can forever turn a blind eye to the declining state of Reboti. Surely the owner can afford a more hygienic ambiance after decades of such brisk business!
Twahir Alam
If you looking for something cheap to eat, then look no further. The chowmien and rolls are the best you can get in Guwahati at that price. The place may not be very hygenic but still is within one's limits.
Anchal Somani
I find this place rather too disgusting. The ambience is so dirty. It's rather crowded. I had noodles here which were quite far from being tasty.
Ranit Roy
The decreasing quality of food here has been a bummer. Years back their noodles were the best but both the quality of food and service been going bad.
Satyajit Chakrabarty
Why this unhygienic outlet be rated so highly? An outlet with such a huge no. of customers and charging no less penny than any other restaurants nearby, it should have been atleast constructed into a better place by now. It should be visited only if you don't give a damn about your health. Rats and cockroaches running around and the utensils being handled in the most absurd of ways, its really a sad scenario there.
Well should I really write about the food now? What should I describe the non uniformity of the taste that prevails depending on the mood of the cook handling the affairs. It can vary from being burnt with abnormal, not so boneless, chicken pieces to may be garnished, well if you can really use that term in this case, with raw leafy and not so leafy vegetables of their choice which they will put in any proportion without any hesitancy... Well this place stays only because of its loyal customer base and old so called heritage may be. But a place which have received so much love over the time should give something back and please upgrade to a little more hygienic place. I shall give it a very generous 2.5. No where in world such a place will be rated 2.5 either.
Sangeeta Kalita (thatcravingfoodie)
This place is a blockbuster among students of cotton college and also don bosco. But it has lost its charm in the recent years. I once went there to eat and to my horror, I saw big and I repeat big rats running everywhere. Even on top of the water glasses kept there and the cut veggies and boiled noodles. I promised never to go there because i dint want to die.
SUMIT DAS
One of the oldest eateries in guwahati.. Its not a restaurant but when u see the crowd every time u enter, u know how devoted their following is..talking about its food, the chow here is quite good and hot..the roll isn't bad too..its not fancy food but its worth the try.
Sajid Vincent Ledger Khan
Thinking of Reboti Chat House rushes back memories of in-numerous plates of chicken chow with ample chicken pieces and then topped off with raw vegetables from the self service bowl. Even the rolls were quite filling and wholesome.

The prices were and are still easy on the pocket and the ultra fast service is beyond comparison (this is in real sense "fast food").

There are no tables, but a lot of benches for you to sit on and you have to balance the food on your hands.

The green chili sauce is quite potent and you are welcome to try it at your own risk.

My rating - 4/5
TheShazWorld (Syeda Shanaz Hussain)
The best and the bestest food during a student life.Serves the best rolls and noodles.Every students craving and the food was beyond expectation. The service is too quick and the place is always busy with lods of ppl around.
Nayan Manna
I'm eating here since a long time as I live in panbazar. Cheap and easy food. It's best if you can over look hygiene issues. Apart from that it's pretty average but it's the feel and let's just put it as ambience...that's what clicks I guess. Nostalgia.
Abhilash Baishya
Reboti is one of the oldest joints in the city. It's popular among students, office goers around the area. This is more like a street joint so ambiance is okayish. The Chicken Chow that they make is excellent, with chunks of chicken which will more than satisfy your taste buds. The rolls are good too, nothing great. Everything else except the Chows is just okay. Prices are dirt cheap, which is why you could check this place out if you're hungry and low on budget. 3/5
Suzaan Ahmed
The noodles and rolls of here are too good... Only the thing is that it is not very much hygiene... Then also if you go pan bazar for some reason, then it's a good place to fill the tummy...
Dibyajyoti Kalita
The best place to be of you have just a few bucks in you wallet and all you can think about is yummy food. Back in time, when I was a student of Cotton College, Reboti used to be the adda-point ofour friend group.
The chowmein that Reboti offers still makes me drool and the specially made Chilli Sauce just adds to the aroma of the plate.
Go experience amazing inexpensive food.
Guwahati Foodie
One of the oldest fast - food joints of the city . There is a reason why generations of people just love this place . And the reason is not just food , but also the memories of the Cottonians , Bosconians and Cotton Collegiate students .
Read more in our website ..

Nowhere in Ghy will you get such nice chowmein and chicken roll than this place. This is one of the legendary fast food joints of the city and offers pretty good stuff at such affordable price range. It is a great place to have a quick snack with friends. Try their chicken omelette, its quite good!
Pongkhi Pegu
I just can't imagine Panbazar without this chat house. It has been there since my childhood. I come to this place again n again only for its chicken chow (noodles). Well there is no proper sitting arrangements, only benches and most of the time it's remain crowded..so you can't really spend much time here. You have to be quick as their service.
Tips: #not your place if you are too much health conscious.
#the amount of half and full plate of chow is almost equal.
# if you like spicy dn try their home made chilli sauce (chatni) with chow and trust me it's simply yummy.
#if you are going for 1st time then better to avoid the college and school rush hour.
Happy eating..:-)
[ now more feeling bad that I don't have any pic from this place :-( ]
Old is gold. Simple restaurant. Still maintaining its taste. Amazing place to hang out with friends. Dont judge it by its look and its menu. It was simply for college students, try whatever available there and you will not regret.

Food+Nostalgia=Foostalgia
To say the best about this place will be to say the least about this place. This is a place which don't need reviews at all. This place is history. This place represents the history/gener of the very first chat houses in Guwahati, and probably in the entire Assam. This place proudly says: Screw ambience. If you want to feel the old Guwahati, I would request you to come here. Take a seat on the unclean benches. Feel the old vibe. That's Guwahati diary, right in front of you. Right in front of Reboti. One of the oldest diaries in Guwahati. Now let me see what you have ordered. Oh, you complaining about the unhygienic environment? Come on, don't spoil the moment. Please, taste the Reboti special chicken chow. Yuuumm...tasty, isn't it? See, see, it still got the same taste. In fact, it cannot get any tastier! :)

Ah this place! It is one of the oldest fastfood joint in the city. Its very pocket friendly and their food is not bad either.

100 bucks if you are alone and you're good to go! Their most special item on the menu is their famous Reboti Special Chow. But since the last fews years the quality of the food has slightly degraded. But hey who am I to complain if you get you tummy full in just 100 bucks right?

All in all, it a nice place to quickly grab a bite.

I have know this place from my collage days. Whenever me and my friends are at the pan bazar area be it buys books or just walking, we surely like to end our hunger here because of its decent, cheap and superquick service of foods. Though it doesnt have any proper sitting place and is always crowed but it is good place to diminish your instant with instant food. Quality might not be great (it is decent) but the quality and price will make you happy. Rolls are better than the chow they serve, but you can go for anyone you want. Hungry and exhausted after buying quite a books, have a quick bite here.

Reboti Chat House makes me nostalgic as I used to frequent this place during my college days. It is extremely pocket-friendly and hence the ideal spot for students of Cotton/ Handique College to relish delicious food. I love this place and it will always remain close to my heart. Don't forget to try out the rolls and chowmein served at Reboti.

The reason why we all love reboti chat house is primarily it's history. All of us grew up having reboti chow. I was not happy to see the place when my parents first took me there. However the chow and rolls were the best in Guwahati then... And even now, they are one the best chat houses of Guwahati. Moreover, the place had been the best and cheapest during our HS days. Cottonians and shankarians would agree... Right?

This place is basically an old fast food joint, known for its noodles (chow/chowmein/chow-chow) & rolls (wrap). They offer various options in both noodles & rolls, mainly veg, egg & chicken. One may also find it surprising that they serve homemade tomato & chilli sauce, which has a nice texture and taste compared to artificial ones. Food is good both- taste & quantity-wise.

However, one must note that - You've to pay the bill while you give your orders. Its being done to cope up with rushing crowd.

Its a hangout place for students from different educational institutions around panbazar area. You should try this place if you opt for affordable fast food in crowded panbazar area. *cheers*

Back in 2009-2011, this used to be our hangout. I was in cotton college and I still remember how eager we used to get during out lunch time to go to reboti for the chicken chow and roll. Be it an everyday lunch, or a birthday treat, or whatever, this was the place where me and my friends used to go. Planning to go there tomorrow again???? good times.

During my days in Ssa panbazar, we used to visit this place very old. I used to hear my mom speak a lot about the place during her days in cotton. So decided to give a try. So its a very very old place. The only preferable item is their chicken chow..quantity is more than enough and very tasty. But the place is very small, dirty and always full of people. So its better to pack it for home and eat peacefully !!

Back then in 2004-2006 when I was studying in Cotton college this place was my favorite. Almost everyday we were coming to this place to have their chicken chow, chicken rolls. Recently few months back I visited this place after a long duration and I was amazed as the place hadn't changed much. Now also this place is crowded by students of cotton. Coming to the foods, yes the food ain't bad. It won't make a hole in your wallet either.
