Loved the ambience of this place. One of the oldest restaurant in Guwahati. This restaurant has 2 floors. The interior is very pretty. The art on the walls what catched my eyes along with the dim lighting. We have ordered mixed chowmin only. It was yummy. Looking forward to try more foods from this place. Well this place is quite hygienic and the staffs are also very polite.

This is place is right opposite to my school that's one of the reason I have good memories with this place but otherwise I really believed that since 1995 this place is a bit expensive according to Guwahati standards. Now that the prices of food has increased the price seems normal but otherwise not! The food tastes okay and the ambience is nice.

Beatrix is nothing but love. The ambience is homely and the vibe to this place is really welcoming. I tried a lot of items here. The paneer burger was a complete delight, the patty was tender and tasted great. The chicken spring rolls were pretty amazing served with a salad. The steamed momos were decent however the stuffing was lacking in quantity. Coming to the main course, the chilli mushroom (dry) was well cooked and the amount of spice was superb. The pulao was so good that we ended up ordering another bowl. The butter chicken was cooked to perfection. We even ordered chicken fried rice from their Chinese cuisine and we felt it could've been better, the flavour was lacking. The garlic chicken was a ten on ten. I definitely recommend this amazing place to each one of you. Trust me, you're not getting disappointed in any way.

We ordered a combination of both Indian and Chinese cuisines. Chicken momos and chilli mushroom (dry) as starters, the mushrooms were the best ofcourse whereas the momos were a bit on the average side. For the main course we had Butter chicken, navratan pulao, paneer butter masala, masala kulcha, garlic chicken and chicken fried rice. The Indian cuisines were pretty good except for the paneer which was slightly sour. The Chinese items were really appreciable. They have a very comfortable and cozy ambience with magazines to accompany you in case you're alone. And a very cooperative staff. We do look forward to visit this place again!

Beatrix is always a rescue to my hunger , the amazing lord of the rolls is a must for me every week . This roll is a must must must try. They serve many amazing dishes like fish with mustard platter , pulao and chicken roast and even chicken salad. The chicken salad is really another best dish from their menu.

And of lately I am fan of the lord of the rolls which had been my favourite roll along with the tuna sandwich. It’s always a nice time visiting here. I have been to this place a lot many times and I really love it. The Ambience is really cosy. So, this time I ordered Butter chicken masala (half) , Chicken Drumsticks and butter naan. The butter chicken masala was so tasty! 🤩🤩🤩 Like it was one of the best I have had till now, also for half plate, the quantity was really good with 5 pieces of chicken. The drumsticks were tasty too, with ample amount of spice but was perfectly crunchy! 😋 What I didn't like was the Butter Naan, it was really thin and didn't taste good. Other than that, it was a very good experience. I definitely recommend the Butter Chicken there! 🤩🤩 Its soooooo good! 😋

Really DISAPPOINTED to say the least. We came here because the place was well reviewed and described as hamburger cafe, so we wanted to have a nice juicy burger here for lunch. The menu had a good selection of burgher, such as chicken, fish, mutton BUT all the burghers are prepared with FRIED PATTIES. We understand that it could be a choice of the chef but use of ALL FRIED MEAT AND MAYONNAISE is definitely not a very healthy choice and can be disliked by some clients. We asked if we could have our burghers GRILLEd INSTEAD OF FRIED, since we saw 5 dishes on the menu which were proposed as grilled, so in theory the chef can use grilling as method of cooking. Unfortunately, the reply was NO, you take FRIED or you get nothing. It seemed pretty unflexible. If the place does not care about the clients, it is a pity. It is not difficult to grill instead of frying, but obviously their understanding of fast food is something oily, fried, full of mayonnaise.. so NO HEALTHY CHOICES AVAILABLE. Service 1 of 5, food 1 of 5, ambience 4 of 5.

Beatrix has been associated with quite a bit of nostalgia for a lot of people, when it used to be one of the popular places for grabbing a snack and dating with loved ones....many many years ago! Currently the place still has its charm and cosiness. Food is a kind of average in this place. Although they have a good menu comprising of fast food items, Chinese, Indian etc... Food is not bad...but not that exceptional either...I hope they come up with few new things in the menu and also improve upon the food quality.

Abhijit Kazi Ruchira Baruah After a lot of research and discussion, we went to Beatrix expecting a lot too much from the burgers they serve, to be obviously disappointed at the very first look of it. My friends and I ordered their Classic Chicken burger and King Burger. Having heard a lot about it, one of them also ordered one Classic Chicken burger to be packed. First of all, their service was extremely slow followed by their tasteless burgers. The patty of the King Burger was burnt. Only the caramel custard was 'okayish' but overpriced. It was not a good experience at all and we would suggest the management to try bring back their good reputation as soon as possible. Else, with the ever increasing heights of competition in the food industry, Beatrix would only become a memory.

Alright, first of all Beatrix is costly, and the food cannot justify the cost. I had some quick bites there twice or maybe thrice before writing this review. It is about their burger. Everything else I had was bland, but the burger was horrible. The patty was overcooked with its sides burnt. It was the king burger but lacked good quality cheese. Very low usage of condiments. I wasted 200 rupees on that. That burger should cost nothing more than 150, thar of the patty is well cooked. P.S.: Mayonnaise is not 'Sanjeevani' for burgers.

I could literally die for their burger! It is soooooooooo good. Since, school days, I haven't had enough of the burgers it seems. Of course, the quantity has decreased and prices increased but that's kinda okay as long as they keep the taste factor on track. Also, the chicken cutlet is very meaty and well made. They also score for their location, hygiene and ambiance.

Chicken Momos are good. But, make sure when you order a chop/cutlet. Be very clear while pronouncing. They seem not to pay enough attention when you say it. I ordered veg chop but instead got to eat veg cutlet. The price differs so much that it hurts 😂 I didn't like the cutlet at all. Anyway, this place has got an old vintage vibe, smells like Shillong. Service is good with well behaved staff. Ambiance is also nice, tidy and well decorated. About the food- We had burgers, butter naan and chicken butter masala. Burgers are quite good but not much big with a bit high rate compared to others and taste is normal. Chicken butter masala(half) is provided with ample quantity and can easily feed 2 person. Now coming to the butter naan. They are terrible. I would rather like to call it as pappad than naan. They are brittle and not soft. I would not even like to pay 10rs for such naans. And only two small naan r given for rs50. Not recommended. And this time is my first and last visit to Beatrix.

This was an amazing place, keyword being 'was'. I frankly have no idea what in the world happened to this place. Alright, I ordered the Beatrix Special burger. Their classic sauce is still classic, no doubt about it. But the chicken breast was horrible, it wasn't cooked thoroughly, the middle part was close to raw, it had onions and 'one' slice of tomato in it, let's call it the Beatrix disaster burger with a side of super oily fries which was just too overpriced. The fresh lime soda was bad, couldn't strike a balance. All in all, a place considered as one of the most reputed eateries is done.

If you haven't been to Beatrix are you even really into food? Because indisputably, this has been one of the most popular eateries since as long as I can remember. Their cutlets and burgers are to die for. But quite honestly, having visited it recently after a while now, I wasn't quite impressed. This place has been around for a very long time now and with the food scene in Guwahati revolutionizing, I don't think they're being able to keep up. But let's hope for the best and wait for Beatrix to catch up with the changing scene because after all they still have their taste with them, a little menu update and they're in the race to win it.

So I went there with with few of my friends a few days ago.... The ambience was nice and welcoming. We ordered burgers for a start and thought of ordering something else later.. Wasn't quite impressed with the food.. I ordered a cheeseburger and there was no patty in our burgers.. Just some veggies and a cheese slice on top... Also the size of the burger was quite tiny.. Definitely won't be enough to fill even a kids appetite.. After that we didn't feel like ordering anything else Would I recommend this? Maybe as a one time thing you sure can go Would I go again? Definitely no!

Ordered Veg Pulao, Chicken Do Piaza and Prawn Hakka Noodles. Veg Pulao didn't taste like Paulo, it rather tasted like rice mixed with vegetables. Chicken Do Piaza tasted like normal chicken curry and compared to the price, the chicken pieces were really small. Prawn Hakka Noodles was good but it was a bit oily. Quality was good and quantity too but not of the chicken dish. The delivery person was really nice.

Hearing a lot about this place we finally visted it. It is just opp.to st.marys' ghy branch. We ordered one veg chop and one paneer chop,the filling was spicy and tasty. Both the chops had the same kind of filling,the paneer one was not that good because the paneer was not cooked well I guess,service and value for money is okay!

The veg momos were good too, very common, nothing special. We also had noodles and a special roll. The roll was just too small for one to fill one's tummy. Beatrix is one of my favourite place :) The ambience of this place is lovely. You feel good when you enter the restaurant. The waiters here are good. Oreo shake is awesome. Try out the king burger. My favourite is definitely the veg biryani and shahi paneer. The chicken lollipops served are small but have it once. Overall, a good place to hangout or have a date.

First of all the look and the ambience is very calm and cool. It is just on the road, so its easy to locate. Service is good, polite behavior, menu has pork but it does not serve it as they couldn't serve me pork momos. You'll find the food finger licking when you look at it, but the game changes when u taste it. Food is tasteless. I have to ask them for some extra chutney to make the food have at least some kind u taste.

It is one old and well known restaurant in uzan bazaar area. The place is pleasant and suitable for lunch, Evening hangout with friends and even first dates ( if you wish to impress the girl you met recently and need a good place with nice ambience as well as quality foods then you can choose this place without getting disappointed ;)). Try the burgers here. For heavy meal, chicken biriyani here is good and so are mutton rogan josh and russian salad. Don't forget to try the fruit cocktail here . So next time when you hangout with your friends in Guwahati on an evening or thinking of having a good meal, you should visit this place once .

I literally grew up with this place yet I am never satisfied. In a good way though. I have been eating here since the price of their famous chicken burger was 30 rupees. Now it is around 80-100 rupees. The magic on those burgers is the mayonnaise that they put. It's not like those regular ones. They are also famous for their chops and cutlets. But never forget to try their burgers. Although I never found their staffs friendly but who cares till the time they serve such good food.

This place still hold its old charm with the look. It's a two storeyed place and quite good for hangout. Fish n Chips, spring roll, Hakka noodles, momos are really good. Also needs special mention about their mayo. Price is standard.

Beatrix has a lot of memories. It happens to be in an excellent location overlooking St. Mary's School which was a chick hub. Not many places offered good Chinese that time. Beatrix being one of them.

where do i start about Beatrix. their interiorsteaks have pretty much not changed through the years which have gone by and still looks fantastic. I used to go there so often that I was invited by the owner for her daughters wedding also eventually. a lay of elegance I must say. my favorite item of theirs was their chicken Momo which was so soft and is always served with some warm clear chicken soup which is to live for. I love their fish and chips and chicken biryani as well. Beatrix was my first food crush

I guess it's one of my most favourite place where I used to go about 10 years back. Chicken sandwich was the one that we used to have with our friends and I still prefer to have this one only and hot chocolate which makes an awesome combination. A beautiful place with good food and ambience. Makes me feel nostalgic.

Ordered Fish and Chips and Chicken burger. The burger was okay but I was disappointed with the fish and chips. What they served was basically deep fried fish. It was crispy and the fillet was very thin. It also didn't have any of the golden brown crust that a fish and chips should have. Ambience and service is okay.

I visited this place after more than a decade. It is pretty much an old wine in a new bottle; although old in this particular case does not work in Beatrix' favour. Ambiance 2/5 Pretty average. In fact, wannabe. The imitation Mario Miranda mural is a grotesque monstrosity. What I did not like is that it endorses Eve teasing (see photo). Hygiene 3/5 Passable Service 2.5/5 Not bad; not good either. At 12:30 PM we ordered momo, it wasn't available. Food 3/5 Based on burgers had long back and more recently the chicken cutlet. The cutlet was awful! Chewy, dry and tasteless. Value for money 3/5 Beatrix is yet another example of a good joint of yesteryears trying too hard (or not at all) to catch up with times...

Beatrix is the hub of beautiful girls (Lucky Staffs) and basically hold lot of memories for the girls who are from St Mary's Convent and one of those restaurant who bought neo-cultural food fashion in Guwahati. Original Beatrix was basically more romantic than the new one, building wise ! Now for the food.. Food is good, Burgers are good one of top 3 who brought American Trans-Food cultured items like Fries, Burgers and wraps, etc. Earlier two were Dynasty in 1991 and Volga in 1993 (Now Closed), though historically impressive but food wise good enough, had couple of times, found impressive sometimes and plain too. Takes time for snack food. Which shouldn't ! Staff is enduring and service oriented, less professional (On a personal note). Liked the ambience, renovation wasn't bad ! Hope to get most of it... i m really disappointed with the service and the food quality served by them. Their services are very bad and price is not at all reasonable if u compare with the quality of the food . its damn expensive. i ordered a roll their they took atleast 1 hrs to serve it and the roll was totally abominable and tast below average..nor the price seems reasonable. moreover it was cold .

An absolute favourite since school time. Considering that it is located right in front of where I did my schooling, I definitely did end up eating there almost every week. And even now whenever I'm back in the city, I do pay a visit. The reason being the food. All these years, and the taste of the food has been consistent. I love their chicken roll, chicken chowmein, chicken burger and their chicken cutlet! If you haven't tried it already, please do! It's yum.

I am a Burger lover and Beatrix's burgers with extra cheese is always welcoming. I haven't tried much of the menu ,I always end up ordering any of the burgers. Good place to catch up with old folks. Spacious and warm ambiance.

It was one of the first trending places in Guwahati in a time when there were not too many options in the surrounding area. Ambience here is great though the service is just okay. Food is above average quality with lots of options on the menu. Their burgers are their main attraction.

Located opposite to the St. Mary's school in Guwahati club area, this place is popular among students. Have been visiting this place since childhood for their burgers! The mayonnaise is remarkably good. They offer Chinese and north indian food. Chicken manchurian and fried rice are my favorites. I also love their momos which have a good amount of chicken. The service is average. Takes around 15-20 mins to serve the food. The ambience is good too. Overall a very nice place to hang out with family and friends.

Ahhhh... one of the best place in ghy ... beatrix . Beatrix has always been famous for its own burger . Its just yummy and "huge" ! This place is always crowded with school students and college student. The residence next to the outlet is so beautiful that everyone wish to stay once in their lifetime... Guys u should visit it soon !

It's a good place has a parking place also.. The ambience it great and the people are really polite.. We went for lunch butter Naan and butter chicken.. It was really gud... I don't like butter chicken everywhere but it was really good and the Naan was really soft..
