Review Maihang - Guwahati

sourav neogi
The food is good and the ambience is superb. The rate is fine and if you are two and opt for non veg you will spend around 700 for sure, but the thali is worth the amount. You can take rice, daal unlimited. The smoked pork dry is really nice. The staff members are friendly. Enough seating space is available and parking for vehicles is not an issue.

Good service with a pleasant atmosphere. The quality of food is good, not much spicy. We tasted Ari fish with curry and mutton curry, the taste was very good. Not much spicy. The place is recommended to visit with family. The dining hall is spacious. We also liked the masala imli (tamarind) drink, which was provided before dinner.

I was skeptical about this place after seeing the 1star reviews, but it's actually the opposite. The ambiance was great, the food was delicious, the waiters we're well mannered and always there to tend to our needs. Even the bathrooms were well maintained. I'd like to visit this place again and yes this is a place to go to if you like peace and quiet while having your food. A quiet nest for those who want to get away from the busy city.

Pure ethnic food available in Maihang. Have been there dor the first time but been ordering via Zomato bor takeout. A chicken lover will love the dry-fry chicken which they make with Mejenga leaves. Its pure love(❤️). Also try the til-chicken. Chicken cooked with black sesame seeds. You will definitely love it. Haven't tried fish or any other thing so cannot comment on them. However the veg thali we ordered was good too. Decor was ethnic keeping the mind the theme of the restaurant. Overall a must visit.

i really like the way their ambience captivates people. the food is great, completely ethnic food and the location is also optimal. despite the quick service, the waiters were a bit absent minded. i asked the same waiter for the bill FOUR times. please see that the management staff is completely attentive to their work. overall great experience.

A good restaurant. Lovely place ...good food ....they helped us in selecting recipe also as we are not from here. Must try their thali. It's wonderful ... tasty and what not. We forgot to take a pic because seeing the thali you won't be able to wait for taking a pic. Lip smacking taste. The duck 🦆 roast was also tasty. Everything was unique a new experience.

The ambience is great with authentic Assamese style... The decor is excellent... The food was great... Though they took quite some time for the service.. The menu is neither costly nor cheap. A great place to bring in family and friends...
