Awesome place for foodie people. One of the best Bengali restaurants in Guwahati City. The price is very reasonable and quite cheap. All the thali(s) are best seller there. They literally give so many items in one thali, the food is very delicious and tasty. The interior is not so attractive but it is very pocket friendly. The real price of the food items and thalis are lesser than what shown in Swiggy app. So its a must visit place. Located in the heart of city and can be reached easily without facing any trouble. The staffs are also very good. So overall its a must visit place.

good veg thali.variety of vegetables here.Only one waitress is available.Not much crowded.Rice and plain dal very good along with seasonal vegetables.It also includes tomato chutney and salad along with papad and Kheer.The place is not in main GS road.Thats why may be less number of customers.AC also there in summers.The food is freshly cooked and waiting time is around 10 mins.The price is low as compared to other dhabas.They should have provision of providing mineral water .They only provide normal water from which source it comes may become doubt in some minds as aquaguard is not seen .May be there could be one inside the kitchen.good ambidence and chairs.

Nice bengoli flavour dishes are available.. some items are so teasty some of them are not too perfect. But overall one of the best resturent for bengoli flavour specialy for fish👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️

Today I ordered Special Veg Thali but they sent Normal Veg Thali

I ordered a veg thali from here thinking that I might be getting Bengali food items since it's a Bengali restaurant but surprisingly there was nothing Bengali dishes in the thali. The normal dal and sabji. Not even shukto. Also I never saw any Bengali restaurant serving xaak bhaaji since it's mainly an Assamese cuisine. So this place will disappoint u if u want to have some exclusive Bengali dishes

Evry dish in the thali was average.. They should improve the taste of food... .. .. But was not heated properly before serving...<br/>Othrwise the price of the thali was cheap...

The veg thali is good in terms of quality and price but the prawn dishes are really disappointing. Never try prawn dishes in this joint. The manager doesn't know exactly what size of prawns are served in Prawn Malai curry. We were served 6 PC's of so called prawn in a full plate ( slightly bigger than shrimps) at a price of ₹ 350 plus tax. The quantity / size of prawns is sub standard and does not match with the price. Felt like I was cheated in broad daylight. The manager and the serving staff seemed to have no idea what the competition is offering at similar price.I don't recommend this place for prawn dishes. Not much idea about other non veg dishes but I don't think they will be meeting the basic quantity standards. Utterly disappointed

I have been a regular at Flavours of Kolkata during Pujas. Went there for Nabami Lunch with my dear one. Had some great expect from this restaurant. As it was Nabami so we had to wait for an hour but it was okay.Anyways, coming to the ambience , can't feel it that much due to huge crowd and noise but according to us it's quite decent. Food that we ordered, kosha mangsho was really yummy so good , I would give 5/5 . And the last ,bmutton was absolutely fresh and succulent. For the last dish I would rate 5 out of 5 for innovation and 4.5 for the taste. Their price is also economical. It was fresh , properly prepared and presented.<br/>So recently I ordered for myself a bengali veg lunch meal through Swiggy , had experienced so much before so I expected much. I was definitely not impressed with what I received. I would rate it around 2.5 The quantity was very less. They have started reducing the quantity may be.🙂<br/>I hope they keep up with the good food with good quantity in the correct price.<br/>

Ordered veg thali from this outlet for lunch. Packing seems to be fine and deliverybwas taken care of by zomato.<br/>I liked the item that was served in the thali. The quantity of the items were also sufficient for lunch. The quality and taste of the food items were also good. If you are looking for the tastiest Bengali food with a really less price this is the perfect place. I prefer for delivery 3 plates of chicken kasa, chicken curry, fried rice, paneer and all of it came with a budget of 1300 bucks. The chicken Kassa is a must try here. Good taste...with good quantity of food...I ordered chicken roll which really tasted well but the quantity of chicken inside the roll was less.....must work on it.

Small restraunt located in ulubari guwahati which serves Bengali food.. No idea about other dishes but the mutton curry here was one of the best curry I ever had. Do try it 😉😋😍

A small food joint, located at the very busy g.s road. The place is ideal for homemade style lunch. They serve different thalis at very cheaper rates, with various items and the food they serve is very homely. People who prefer light food, with not much oil and spices, can definitely opt for this place. The place is not very fancy, a simple place, so do not expect a proper fine dining restaurant. But if you are at bora service area, you are hungry, and you don't want to eat the spicy unhealthy restaurant food, then this is the best option for you!

Its a very good, cosy and homely place to have one's food. The ambience and staff are very friendly. The veg thali served there is very tasty and with very less spice used makes it very light. All the items be it the curry, rice or the sweet dish, were too good. Would recommend that anyone wanting a simple meal to give this place a visit.

The restro was probably 10 days old when we accidentaly discoverd it! I have not seen a bigger cheat than these Guys! Please dont insult the Bengali community n d city of Joy by your cheap acts! First day we accidntly got into place..They served Rice & chicken..which was surprisingly vry good and tasty! We thought our search for Bengali foods end here!! A week later we went to the same place along with a couple more of my friends! We ordered Chicken & Rice again..what they did was instead of making kosha Mangsho..they put the stinking tikka boneless pieces in a curry and served them as Kosha Mangsho n rice which was served in a big bowl a week was changed into a 1/4th size! I felt seriously insulted infront my friends..when complained they said "U please have Illish Mach sorse" thats our speciality..I havent had such kind of worst experience ever!

I happen to get to this joint with two of my colleagues during office lunch hours. We intended to go for a light lunch but apparently it didn't happen 😂😂😂 this place is an underdog, doesn't have much of an appeal but I believe that they have this regular customers visiting them. The ambience is ok. We ordered veg-thali which was like 90 bucks and mutton kosha. Lolzzz... For 90 bucks I am sure you wont be served with eleven different types of items. Mutton kosha was good too. Not much of a flamboyant place to hangout but a real good deal for office goers. <br/><br/>Note: Will visit on need to eat basis only 😁

How could I miss writing a review for this joint. True it is located inside a bylane but among the many bengali restaurant  located  in the GS ROAD( bora service to lachitnagar)  I feel it is the most under advertised. Food is ok not good not excellent. Cheap on the pocket . I have tasted a lot lot of meals from this restro but one incident does not make me visit it again. Flavours of Kolkata was regularly serving meals for our office and sometimes I would personally go to collect the bills. One day it so happened that I was a couple of days late and when I went to search the bill I found my bill shredded into pieces. Surprised I asked the manager about the condition of the bill he nonchalantly responded THAT COCKROACHES HAD EATEN UP THE BILL. I have never encountered such a situation before. I could neither cry nor laugh. But I decided I cannot eat the same dish served to the cockroaches. All the good food served by them had a rating of Zero from me. I dont recommend such a restaurant full of Cockraoches. Food served earlier to the coackroaches incident is 2.5. after the incident it is Zero.

It serves a typical home food... The location is not easy to find out,its inside a lane,Nodoubt the sign board is given @ d mouth af the lane... The way day serve their thali is very interesting. I tried their thali and kosa mangso(chicken). The taste is good,totally homely food and the price is also decent.

Today we had our lunch here & I can say that the food was simply amazing. Delicious indeed. I think many people don't know about this resto much, but one must visit this small resto just for the tasty Bengali dishes.

Not many of person know this place and is still undiscovered like an island somewhere around the ocean. Being a foodie and that too a bengali, explored here few months ago and have ordered plain rice and mutton kasha. Reminded me of my old kolkata days of delicious mutton. Must for mutton lovers but wont comment on rest will find out later.
