Small, quaint little cafe with a pretty good view of the Brahmaputra. The location is quiet and serene and the food is good especially the English Breakfast. Had their Assam tea which was very delicious.

Nice cosy small cafe facing the Brahmaputra river. The chocolate special shake was a delight to the taste buds. The area is pretty small but a good place to hang around with friends. It is at the first floor and the owner is polite and courteous.

A tiny cafe with few sitting arrangements. The cafe kitchen is live kitchen. A tree penetrated at the centre of the cafe decorated with lights is a sort of attraction for this place. River view is good as it is located opposite to the river side and on the 1st floor of a building. Food and service is fine.

Suitable place for a sit-out for 3-4 people, you can talk on random things while enjoying the brahmatputra river view along the sip of your favourite beverage and munch on light snacks. Price is a bit high considering the space, food and service.

It's a cosy place to hang out with the River flowing by the side. Although the capacity is limited but the ambience is good. One can enjoy the beautiful breeze on a windy day. Last but not the least, the food is fresh and tastes delicious. Must visit if one happens to be in the area.

Tiny and cosy cafe overviewing the Brahmaputra. There are only a few tables and a tree passes through the roof of the cafe creating a beautiful effect. Amiable and courteous staff. The food is great and the prices are in fact cheaper compared to other cafes. The most expensive item comes of ₹300. The interior designing is dainty and the food is prepared in front of your eyes. Actually it looks like a decorated dining hall with the attached kitchen. Ideal place for a romantic date or even a self date with the cold breeze blowing through the open windows. It opens quite early in the morning. I tried the Creamy chicken sandwich (which is served with fries, ketchup and mayonnaise) and brownie sundae. The sandwich was average but the sundae was delicious with lot of icecream. The over the top shake is the most popular. Great place to grab a sandwich or pasta when you are hungry af and your pocket demands consideration too.

Nice, quiet place by the Brahmaputra river. The food's good but the view is even better. It's rather small and there aren't as many seats as you'd wish, so maybe go there with someone whose company you enjoy. (Highly recommend their Savoury Waffle Sandwich. Ask for some whipped cream on top/on the side. It might be a little difficult to eat but it's worth it.)

Oh! The view from the table is awesome. Food is okay okay. I ordered English platter and a lime soda. It okay. This place is one of the best place where you can spend a nice evening.

The view is nice, from up there. The food is good. The decor is very basic, probably because their target is the college crowd. But pretty cool hangout, both for college goers and others alike.

Nice and calm place

The tea is special over here which is hand made. The english breakfast tastes great. Excellent overall feedback and the view is mesmerising. Go and have breakfast in Sundays!

Love their American breakfast and spaghetti meatballs... Their Alfredo pasta and Noodles are good too. I find most of their shakes quite thin and light... But recently had the peanut butter and banana shake which turned out to be good and okayish thick. Although portions are pretty good, each item is priced quite on the higher end. The area of the cafe is small with 5 tables for 2,3 and 4. The location of the cafe being a river-facing one is an add-on. They also have table games like Monopoly, Snakes and ladders, Ludo, Uno etc to while away your time...

Well its pretty congested but does the job for a small bite..food was somewhat average only...price is a bit on higher side compared to the quantity and the ambience they provide!

I tasted the signature dish of this cafe- Classic OTT Shake.<br/>The milkshake was smooth as well as creamy, a perfect shake (good shakes are very rare to find nowadays).<br/>Also the additionals like little hearts, Icecream, waffles and kitkats made it amazing !<br/>Ambience wise, not spacious, kinda conjusted place. But is very airy. When I entered I thought it's a kitchen😂 it looked so messy ! Anyway, the food is good though.

Such a cute place. Really liked the view. You get a cozy feeling in the atmosphere. The only thing is the sitting area which is really small. Other than that it is a pretty good place to spend your chill time with friends.

The banoffee pie is absolutely a must try. The view from cafe riverrun is absolutely picturesque in the evening when the sun goes down. Also their breakfast spread is very good.

Located on the banks of River Brahmaputrra, this place is perfect for a breezy evening by the river bank. The view is really pretty. It's a small cozy place.<br/>The food they serve has a great presentation. However, the taste is very average. We had ordered the Classic OTT which is highly recommended. It looked amazing but had a basic taste. Same was the case with the Cake OTT. The veg breakfast platter was good. This place is a good place for a date. However, the food is pretty average.

Food was good, but main attraction was the decor and that it was set near the river, hence soothing. Pleasant enough. Likely to visit again.

My experience was really bad. Firstly, they were not serving coffee being a cafe. The staff was very unfriendly. Filled with mosquitoes, not good food/beverages so in 20 mins I had to leave the place after regretting the fact that I just wasted money. The biggest disappointment was that they don’t provide a legal bill with GST no. The staff said can give in a piece of paper the amount without any Letter head or Invoice no. Handed over a card of the cafe and asked me to reach out to the Onwer. So dear Owner are you conducting an illegal activity or all of this is just to evade taxes. Why don’t you serve proper bill to your customer - a GST invoice ?

Had the veg burger and the waffle. The burger was kinda bland and nothing special. The waffle was good but the caramel on it was not not proper.

Awesome food. Great ambience and perfect location. A quaint little place, with a unique and delightful menu. Little pricy, but food is great. Service is a bit laid back but I guess it goes with the place. Don’t go there if you are in a rush, you will miss half the charm.

Located in a very calm and quiet environment this place is a must to go to.. We tried pasta and rosemary mushroom and choclate waffles. The pasta was quite ok but the mushroom and waffles were so tasty.. If you visit this place than u must try their rosemary mushroom.

A nice little cafe with a great ambience and a good view of the mighty brahmaputra, this place will leave you feeling great with its food, service and ambience.Coming to the food, we ordered a cheesy French fries which was fully loaded and fudge brownies,all of which were smartly prices.The only downpoint being that the place is very small.

I don't know but I had a very bad experience in regards to service. The staff were very rude. They weren't responding to what I wanted ..As I was shooting video for my you " about bthe restaurant" they were least bothered to be assist me rather than they opt to neglect . Never mind I ordered over the top which is really tasty . You definitely have to have a good budget to try their food as its not as affordable as you will find cafegemram to be . Its just the my kind of place, very quiet and decent and situated opposite to the river Brahmaputra. A small place but i found the ambience very cosy. The staff is friendly. Coming to the food, i had cappuccino and the handcrafted chicken burger. The cappucinno was good but the burger was super yummy with lots of cheese. Its the right place to hangout with your friends in the evening. Looking forward to visit this place again very soon.

This place is just amazing. I loved the Ambiance so much. The space is very less. But I went during afternoon and we were the only ones there. I thanked God coz whenever I happened to cross this place, I'd get a glimpse and find it crowded. <br/>Anyway, it's opposite to the mighty Brahmaputra, so you can get an idea how amazing that would feel. It's very nature kinda themed. You get all the natural breeze and everything. <br/>They have this little board games and novels too.<br/><br/>So I tasted their burgers and I loved it! A lovely and a cozy place to spend evenings. The waffles served here are the best (ask for double chocolate waffle with extra cream). The food is fairly priced.

It a decent and quiet place to have peace of mind. As the small cafe is situated in uzanbozar opposite to South bank of the river Brahmaputra, it offers scenic views of the river. uAlso the place is free from busy rush and bustle of the city.<br/>Pros : Food is decent and you can relieve childhood memories by playing snakes and Ludo or other mini board games offered by them. Their Mexican salad is good and also the fruits juices that will be prepared in front of you.<br/>Cons : the place is narrow and offers little space. So you will have to return if already occupied ( that too only 5-6 Pairs of couples or 10-12 group people will occupy the whole place). So try to go late afternoon before sunset ot early evening.

Ambience : It's a small space and there's a tree which has not been cut ( appreciation for that) fairy lights have been put over it which looks pretty.<br/><br/>Service : Since they cook then and there, unlike most places,where the kitchen is inside,they choose to cook openly which also means whatever they cook it's fresh. There's only one person who takes the order and he's responsive. The service is good overall.<br/><br/>Food : we had ordered :<br/>1. DU styled Maggie : which had veggies,and was soupy and tasted good.<br/>2. Potato crunchy sandwich : which was good too and healthy too.<br/>3. Masala tea : which was fine.<br/><br/>Overall,the price, I felt was a little more than the quantity that they provided. For two people, the price is fine.

This place feels amazing, next to the Brahmaputra River, greenery around, a very small place but amazing to hangout with friends. You can enjoy as you play board games and eat the amazing food out there. The food is expensive as far as I feel. The place is decorated well in the evenings with beautiful lights and a tree runs in the middle of the place. Just 3-4 tables and you can watch them as they cook. The pasta is really good and the cakes are good too! Must go and enjoy.

A tiny place with good lighting and a tree within it. Thank you for not cutting it down. <br/><br/>However, the hygiene needs to be taken care of. Flies and other insects from the tree or the open windows kept falling on our beverages and food. <br/>

Only the waffles are good. I have tried a few more things but only found the waffles good. The pasta was less cooked and over seasoned with mixed herbs. The nachos were good and cheesy but a bit dry. The ambiance is good and the aura is nice.

Best waffles I've tasted by far. I mean literally and I'm a waffle fan so i have them everywhere but the waffles from riverrun were the most scrumptious ever. The cafe is uniquely decorated because it is built around the trunk of a tree. The cutest, most humble and absolutely worthy place. I'd recommend it to everyone and especially waffle fans.

The decorations of the cafe is very beautiful. And the food over there is also very good. And the view from there is mesmerising. But the staff over there, they dont know how to maintain decency. They click photographs of the customer without taking their permission. Some of the customers may not like that. Better if this behaviour of them is taken into consideration.

This view is amazing,the food turned out to be more delightful which was expected..we ordered classic OTT and mumbai style sandwich and potato crunch ...the only limitation is that the place has limited sitting space for too many people visiting out there..otherwise service was prompt that too with so tasty food..

ordered their mumbai street sandwich and nutella waffle... while the waffle was ok!!.. the sandwich was practically tasteless.. not a slight hint of salt also bare minimum veggies inside.. i mean for ₹190 bucks it’s definitely a downer👎🏻👎🏻(FYI this is known to be one of their best sellers👀🤔)

A small cute little cafe best for the couple's I guess as you get the view of brahmaputra river. Prices are moderate but coming to taste we ordered for cold coffee which was worst in taste we demanded for less sugar in our shake but they made it hilarious it felt like as we are drinking water. Then we ordered fudge brownie for the dessert which was not so good in taste apart from other restaurants I've tried,the quantity is good but the taste needs to get better. Overall the service was nice,staffs were helpful and polite.

Cafe Riverrun is a cozy little cafe with a simple ambience. The people who run the cafe are super friendly and the food here is yummy.<br/><br/>We tried the Paneer Bhurji Bun and it was mind blowing. The Veg special burger was equally good. Must try!

The place is settled in a very good place with the view of Bramhaputra which makes every meet a wonderful meet. The place is too small but crowd is very good people are always hop in for a table. Table for two is good and max. is 4(only if the place is vacant) more than 4 there ain't any space.<br/><br/>I liked the concept its like a small tree house and we'll decorated.<br/><br/>I always heard the food is good their so this time I too went with a frnd and hopped in. We ordered to watermelon juice and one platter of chicken bruchetta. The watermelon juice weren't chilled and the quantity was not appropriate. And the bruchetta was good as I love tomato and it was filled with that but the chicken slices we're very hard and tough to slice with butter knife and chew.<br/><br/>May be next time I would try something else. Its a good small cafe located at riverside of uzaan bazaar. The prices are bit high as compared to the cafe and quantity of the dishes. They should expand fheir cafe and i would highly suggest them to add an AC to the cafe because it becomes really suffocating when all the seats are full.

Heard a lot about dis cafe. So today me n my bf happened to visit dis cafe. Its a pretty cute cafe beside d river bank. So d best thing I love is d location. I tasted only d hazzlenut shake n creamy chicken sandwich n loved dem both especially d shake. Its tasty. Though d rates are bit overpriced BT dats OK as we get good food. Staff is also frndly. D only con is DAT its too small to be a cafe. I hope Dey can dey can make it bigger if posible. Otherwise a happy customer.

I had a lot of expectations from this cafe but after reaching the place by riding for around 13kms i was really not excited. Yes its an open restaurant and donot have an Air condition. The shakes that i tried were awesome and tge staff is also very well behaved yet i dont like the fact that the place is too small for a cafe. I guess only 12-13 people can sit at a time which will definitely suffocate you. Also talking about the price if u compare it with the Keventers or the london shake then those shakes are far better than their shakes. Try their Hot chocolate however. The ambience is perfect but it doesnt take hard work to decorate a small place. Overall happy but not satisfied. Its an one time go place for me!!

However, that does create a few problems in the form of someone bees and insects flying around (which some people may have a problem with).<br/><br/>When it comes to food, I tried the alfredo pasta and was not disappointed(although i felt it was a tad overpriced). The sauce was rich and creamy and the pasta was cooked well. That being said, it was not something that I would dream and rave about. However, combined with the scenery and some nice company this place somehow managed to end up ticking all the right boxes for me.<br/><br/>That being said, I felt that the cafe was not run in the most professional way and the staff was quite chilled out. The order took a long time and while some people who have time on their hands may not have a problem with that, quick service is something which should always be strived towards by any restaurant in my opinion.

Me and 2 of my friends went there one evening. And may I say that except for the ambience nothing is really good. The Pasta Arrabiata smelled like fish although we had ordered the chicken variant and we had to stop after the first mouthful. The Banofee Pie was too sweet and IT WASN'T A BANOFEE PIE. Only the Cappuccino and the Hot Chocolate was drinkable. Go for the view but the food I would not recommend.

It's a perfect place to hangout with your friends and the ambience is amazing. Now, coming to food you can try anything from menu I am sure you won't be disappointed. Will visit again in near future 😀

Pathetic service and food. Ordered caramel latte, cheesy french fries and double chocolate waffles. The latte was okay. The cheesy french fries came much later..it was served in a bowl topped with some kind of mashed milk product (looked like bad qaulity paneer) and beneath the fries was the milky liquid . It was no where near to any cheese I know that comes with fries. When I asked the cook, why are the cheesy fries like this, why there is so much of water in the bowl???? His answer was, that's how cheesy french fries are and that's how I have been taught to make.. Haha..somebody save me. Within minutes the fries went soggy because of the liquid thing and that so called cheese was terrible in taste. It was simply not edible, had to leave it.And lastly the waffles never turned up, even after one hour. His reason for the delay was that the waffle making machine takes time to warm up..really one hour! Well I don't have the world's time to spend there. I normally do not write any reviews , but I was quite disappointed today. Hope this feedback reaches the owners /management ,so that any other customer of yours do not go through the same ordeal again.

Nice and cosy place by the river to spend some quality time alone or with friends. I had classic over the top shake with loaded garlic bread. The taste was awesome, ambience and service was good. Also, the tax charged was very reasonable. Only drawback is the place is a bit small.<br/>Definitely going to visit this place again.Puspashree

Café riverrun is a great place for desserts. I ordered double choco chip waffles. It is a very teeny-tiny place and can accomodate around 10 people. Apart from the space, everything else was great. They even had few board games. The waffles were really great. It came with some vanilla ice cream to balance the flavour. However, the service was kinda slow.

I had a lot of expectations with this place but couldn't quite get over it on my first visit. I ordered one Penne Arabiatta(red sauce pasta) and Classic OTT. The pasta lacked salt while it had excess spices. The Classic OTT was thankfully a saviour. I hope my second visit is satisfying.

Worst service.They don't even provide a glass of water to the customers.I found nothing special and they are just looting the customers whereas they can't even provide most of the items what we order.Better to close this cafe and never going to visit this place for the next time; Even I will suggest my dear ones not to visit this place as they are just here to loot us.

Riverrun cafe got a very good calm location with the view of the bramhaputra river in UZANBAZAR. Shakes are perfect here. Perfect Italian food too. Pasta is recommended.

Nice cafe.but sitting is too congested for words and I ordered maggi garlic bread and 2 masala chai.......Maggi was awesome and garlic bread chai was also good......I will visit again .Guys were good

The only thing about this place that catches your eyes is the decoration. Good to click some amazing pictures but there's nothing special about the food. The beverage was average and so was the sandwich. Plus, 60% of the items listed on the menu wasn't even available. Poor service as well.

I was really excited to visit this place but they are just thieves who are taking money from customers. I ordered mineral water and they charged Rs 20 for a Rs 10 bottle and when I enquired about it the owner started shouting at me and said that it was my fault that I ordered mineral water rather than drinking normal water. Its a shame they are looting people and people are paying them unnecessarily.

Small and a beautiful cafe at the bank of river Brahmaputra. Very lesss space, it hardly can accomodate about 10 people.<br/>About the food.. we had Meatball Spaghetti and over the top Shake. The quantity is enough for two people.<br/>But I personally didn't liked the taste of both the pasta and the shake. The shake was very chocolaty and sweet. And the pasta it was too much of tomatoes. And the price..I found it little bit expensive. Hopefully the other food items are good.

It is a very compact cafe with a beautiful view. The food is tasty. But the cost is little high in terms of the food. "Over the Top" shake is an eye candy and must try. The staffs are friendly. Another thing which really caught my eyes is their way of serving water with a mint plant inside the bottle. Overall its a good place to satisfy one's sweet tooth

Located near Uzanbazar Ghat, above Fab India shop. Riverrun is a small yet pretty cafe. The menu doesn't have a great range of food items. A bit overpriced too . I would suggest the Over the Top shake. Its tasty and eyecatching too. A romantic place besides the mighty river. :)

The place is small and beautiful. The decor here is breathtaking. However, the food here is not as good as you would expect. Not really worth the money.

The food is pretty good. A little expressive, but not all dishes are worth it. The shakes and waffles are must try things there. An awsome place to hangout with friends 😍

if u want to time spend with ur frnd n love one dn go their. It's a nice place nd it's near the road side n river so natural cold freeze wind blows. U can also enjoy the natural view. The imp thing is the food, the foods nd coffee was amazing n waaoo..<br/>guys go there n test the foods once.

I have not tasted any other dish of riverrun but this over the top shake is the best. I have rated this on basis of this over the top shake and also the kit kat shake. I really enjoy the view of the Brahmaputra river from this cafe.

Though the Cafe is less spacious, it serves quality food. It has a cool interior design. You must definitely go with your bae to this place.

The place is very tiny so it is not for big groups.There are only 3 to 5 tables so you may have to wait if you go in at busy hours like in the evening where most of the students and the College crowd comes to hang out there and play board games or just chill.<br/>The location of the cafe is the best thing.Cool breeze from the Brahmaputra at the sides and the view is awesome.<br/>When i went there most of the items i ordered for were unavailable so had to settle down for aglio olio pasta which was average and brushetta chicken which was yummy.The best thing was though the loaded OTT jar with coffee,chocolate bar ,little hearts.ice cream,brownie etc.It's a must have if you go there.

Intially they were among best in terms of food And place, but now it has become unhygienic like any road side vendor. Tables are dirty, staff eating on tables , manager making his pan on vegetable chopping board. If you have a open see thru kitchen then you gotta keep it clean... they still make awesome burgers and sandwiches , but as it happens with all and many , you earn n u become hit , u tend to ignore little things which can make u grt. Hope it reaches shweta who is owner of this place. Till the time she was cooking herself, there was no hygiene issue, but now its yuck!!!!!!! And best IS , WE HAD A BUG IN OUR NACHOS , WHICH WAS THERE NEW YUMMY ADDITION!!!!

Amazing place with warm hospitality. I had my first waffle here and it was amazing.The serene surrounding and this little cozy cafe is everything you need to unwind yourself .. much love.

A good small place to have snacks. View is nice from there. I usually have the desert there. The room is a compact one. I like the different shakes over here. Parking of vehicles is not an issue.

The place is small but very well managed and decorated. The ambience is great and is kind of romantic. The 'Over the top' shake here(being the major attraction) looks great. The add-ons are tasty but the shake itself is average. The wraps are great, pasta is average. I tried the brownie Sunday in desert and it was awesome! Coming to other beverages, the peanut butter and banana shake isn't good, lime soda with cranberry was great. The staff and service is great, you can also play some indoors games like ludo, chess, scrabble etc.

Not that good, just the view is amazing. Food is average and costly. <br/>Also, it is a very small place and does not have place to sit. You can try the desert nevertheless.

This place would be superb for breakfasts or evening times. Its a very small and cosy place. It literally is small but neatly maintained and has a good view. It is apt for having quiet conversations. The shakes are really good here. But I personally think the prices are a bit on the higher side. But given their taste, one is likely to ignore that. But yeah, I would love to visit this place again. May be during winters!

Cafe with a soothing air<br/><br/>The all natural Cafe Riverrun is a must visit.<br/><br/>Food: Good enough, but not that great to remember. I like the way the present the food though. Too photogenic.<br/><br/>Service: It was in a flash. It was a no complaints service. Fully satisfied. 5 stars for the service.<br/><br/>Ambience: Though a small place, but its fresh and airy. That feel beside the mighty brahmaputra is really good.<br/><br/>Location: Location is away from the city crowd and yet not so far. Probably one of the best locations. Parking space is also adequate.<br/><br/>Pricing: Little bit in the higher side, compared to the small place and interiors etc. They can work on it. <br/>

First get rid of your worjers immediately because if that is the way they check out girls no one is going to feel safe. They behave like roadside goons checking out girls. Mood already spoilt by the behaviour of the staff we ordered good hoping that will lighten things. Fancy names. Sheer disappointment. Ordered juice. The cobtainers were too small for the price. The salad was stale. The veggies stored in fridge overnight. The spinach n corn sandwich bitter. Regret visiting. Will never repeat that again

Has a nice vibe to it and the food is great .Would suggest people to try the 'maggi' , the menu is a tad bit overpriced. It could do more with the seating arrangements although we missed out on the famed evening scene.

They serve juices...which I haven't tried yet...it looks good though.<br/><br/>Ambience-its location is awesome, can get a good view of the river. Place is tiny n gets cramped when all the seats r occupied. Moreover seats r not that comfy. Lightning is good.Decoration is decent. No problem of finding parking place.<br/><br/>Service is decent.<br/> Nice place to have a cup of coffee n for some time pass with loved ones!<br/><br/>

Amazing location and nice ambience. Although it is usually difficult to get a table, given the tiny area of the cafe. I wish they had a bigger space. The food, at least the few items I tried, were okay. I tried a chicken sandwich that was a little bland, waffles that were not extra ordinary either and a butterscotch milkshake which was also okayish. I would say the place is a tad bit overpriced for the taste of the food and the tiny space. But I would go back for the location and the decor.

Good place. Food is really tasty here. Do try the spaghetti with meatballs. Best one i've ever had. Not too pocket friendly but won't bite too deep into your wallet either.

So, how do you describe Riverrun?<br/>It's a small cute place, afterall. It could use some more space but their atmosphere makes you feel kind of being at home. Definitely not good for claustrophobics.<br/>As for food, I am glad I took my time to reach out to you guys. We had Over The Top Shake, Hazelnut Shake and Spaghetti with Meatballs. The Spaghetti was good, it's sauce spicy and tangy, though the meatballs could use some moisture- they seemed a bit too dry and bland. Hazelnut Shake was mild, and I liked it a lot. As for the famous Over The Top Shake, the presentation was splendid but so long as taste buds are concerned, it did not taste quite extraordinary- it was kind of usual.<br/>Going to head this place again soon. 😊

Good place, a bit less spacious for a large group of friends or colleagues, yet a nice place to be in ! Coffee is good but could have been much better. Garlic bread starter is a nice delight, for someone having a light dose as well as something fancy. Ambience is fancy and nostalgia driven. Good place to give a throughout visit for the sweet teeth !

I liked the location. The food is good but a bit expensive. I am sure they can work on their menu and put some more items. I love the peanut butter banana shake.
