I had their filter coffee and pao baji and loved it. It was so delicious to taste and after that i keep going to this to try out something different and it never dissapoint.

An iconic place as far as dosas go. Had their cheese masala dosa after a long time & took a stroll down the memory lane. The taste was more or less the same as it had been since a long time. The sambar & the chutney were good too. The potato filing, though wasn't very satisfying quantitatively. Otherwise, it was a nice little visit.
Once a Legendary restaurant for South Indian dishes in Guwahati, where customers in the yesteryears had to be in que for getting a chance to grab a bite there & longing for more, but with the passing years & increasing new competition, the food quality & glitz & most important the crowd have receded.Though it still runs now as a reasonably priced indian & south Indian food outlet, but is today far cry from its glory days ! Advice: Maybe they need to start Home Delivery service which would give them a competitive edge for the new age customers !

I have been to this restaurant many times, from 2009 onwards. They make awesome South Indian cuisine. Only issue is the entrance needs to be modified a bit. Food is good.
Used to visit woodlands often when i was a kid in the 90's. There weren't many good options to eat out back then in Guwahati, specially vegetarian. However, woodland always stood out. Gladly, it has maintained it's reputation. Good vegetarian food, specially the dosas and thalis. Great service as well. They should make arrangements for card payments soon.
This restaurant continue to retain its originality for the last 30 years i used to visit when i visit Guwahati. Calm and give feeling of candle light.

One of the best South Indian Restaurant in this city. They serve mouth watering Dosa, Idli, Vada, Utthapam etc. South Indian Veg meal also available. Rates are cheaper than so many other Restaurants.
One can get good South Indian food at reasonable rate. Located on the left hand side way under the Ulubari flyover, if you come from Paltanbazar.
This place is known for dosa. You will find the yummiest dosas in this place. Food is worth the value here. Staffs are welcoming as well. Just the service is a little late. Ambience is ok. Not too good not too bad.
Food is good..chutney is average ..typical South Indian taste to indulge..ambience takes back to the 90s..service is quick.. the cost is reasonable...overall the food is good for tummy n pocket..
Clean restaurant with excellent food quality. The service is fine and staff is friendly. The best food I find is dosas, puri sabji etc. Tea is wonderful.
