The 'Pork with Raja mircha' is one of the best pork dish i've ever tasted in guwahati. being ahom, pork is my favourite and i have tried many places. but this dish certainly stands out from the crowd.

This is perhaps the quintessential bamboo shoot pork joint for any middle class guy in Assam. A five piece half plate serving costing around 100 rupees after discounts are deducted and delivery charges are added, it represents a perfect blend of tastes. The pork is succulent, there is an ample amount of bamboo shoot pieces in the curry to impart the unique sour flavour that only it can and the pieces of chilli balance out the taste by giving the dish a spicy kick to cut through the oiliness of the dish.
All in all, a satisfying meal.

If you want to savour gahori, then this place only. It's situated near GNRC hospital. I heard rave reviews from people trying out til pork here and so I had to try out it for once. Sadly, I couldn't find any companion willing to go there with me and so I ordered from here.
I went for the very famous til gahori or sesame pork and a plate of lai xaak gahori or pork. The til pork was by far better. The sesame compliments the fatty pork pieces so well and the waft of the sesame flavour is mouth watering. The lai pork could have been better as I couldn't find that mustardy smell and flavour of the lai in the curry.
The prices are more than reasonable and I highly recommend this place to everyone of you. Hoping to try out their thali and til pork again sometime.

Excellent pork dishes. And Authentic Assamese Food. Ambience not good at all. And a bit dirty but food is excellent. Til Pork, Bamboo Shoot Pork, Assamese style Pork, and Smoked Pork very good.

Amazing local and ethnic food, at a very cheap price. They serve a very simple menu, with a handful of dishes to choose from on the side; but the food is absolutely amazing, and much much more satiating than you would expect at the quoted price. A "must go" place for anybody looking for some good ethnic Assamese and tribal food; this place won't disappoint.

For a awesome pork experience this place is a must visit. Cost efficient, good at taste food which is the best thing about the place. From pork with sesame to pork with bamboo shoot it's simply mouth watering. However personally I didn't like the barbeque pork which have a define scope for being better. Also the place is very congested & during the peak ours there is definitely a problem. Rating it 4 stars & leaving the one for I believe in a little more space for development.
