Review Spectrum Bar - Guwahati

Good place with good ambience. The staff were very professional and courteous. I did not check out the menu as I knew what I wanted (cold beer in this agonizing heat) But the price was decent for a bar situated in GS road and located inside Shoolin Grand Hotel. Enjoyed my 2 tuborgs here with KFC equivalent chicken popcorn as snacks. Will definitely come back here in the future.

Situated inside hotel Shoolin Grand. Easy to locate. This is part of Kalita Spectrum. Food menu is same as that of Spectrum. Good food. Decent price. Staff behavior good. Place is well lit. Decent pricing. Not very big space but comfortable. Overall good.

Excellent place to Dine n Drink. Staff z very polite. Food z Awesome. a little bit high on price but its okay. Overall it is one of the best place to hang out with your special one. I like it.

Wow what a place I have visited after such a long time, starting from its countryside looking environment to it's fingure licking food and must say the wide range of its affordable price list whether the licquer or food and the service, you'll enjoy every bit of this place. Being a level 6 Expert Reviewer local guide I always try to keep my language as easy as possible so that anyone can understand to its core rather then making it complicated using bombastic words. Anyways lastly you must visit this place once.

I loved their Lababdar! Atleast its not maida infused like I had in few places! Great Naan too. I gave 4 star because of the Ambiance. Too much cringe for liking

Well it's been 3-4 times I have visited this place. Few dishes are like awesome and few are like good. I tried chicken tandoori, It was okay. They donot compromise with the quality, a few dishes needs to be better as the prices are bit on the higher end. Otherwise no complaints.

I visited spectrum bar some 3 days back.. everything was good except for the space, seating arrangement and the price( though food was good , we ordered tandoori Chicken) but found the price a bit high than what it should have been.<br/>Ambience is good , can be improved with better selection of songs..<br/>Overall it was a good experience but can be better and prices should be kept in mind. Menu can be reviewed as well and they can add a few more starters and dishes. Good but can be better... :)

Loved the ambience. They have attractive happy hour offers. Tried Schezwaan Prawn and it was really yummy! The staff were good and cordial. Price is reasonable. They also have exclusive sea food menu which adds to their charm.

I had been to a number of bars in Guwahati, amongst all I loved Spectrum bar. Every bar had some problems, a few had good food but lacked a good Ambience, a few had good lavish ambience but the food was either too overpriced or bland. I went with my friend and had a couple of drinks and Chilli garlic noodles. We didn't order anything on the expensive side as we had no idea what the taste and quantity of food would be. We were glad that the food was tasty and was more than enough according to the price. Overall I had a great experience, hope to visit again! ❣️

Ok the Bar is awesome. I love the Ambience and the environment. It gives immense pleasure to visit there for a quick drink and bites. We ordered the Pitcher and damn it was so good, the only problem was that we ordered crispy chicken and crispy corn which was not on the menu. The food was great but it had to be mentioned on the menu rather than asking and ordering. Overall experience was great there, the food was great, the staff were friendly and the ambience was awesome. We had a great time there, the price is also reasonable enough. Also we ordered Sangira the beast of a cocktail for us, it was tasty and also full of surprises 😃 I would actually give a 4.2 rating but there is no option for it.

1. I was there on a Saturday night and from that I can say that it is a small bar without any live music although it is listed and is a kind of place for an one time go.<br/><br/>2. The quality of the food and the serving size was good although the price may seem a tad higher. The range of food items can be expanded further to include local delicacies.<br/><br/>3. The selection of beers and other drinks options are good but some of the beers listed were not available.<br/><br/>4. The service was extremely good but it started slowing down as the tables filled up.

Ambience was okay. Good place to hangout. Selection of music can be better. Food was good. We ordered chicken three way which had three variety of kebabs, which was tender and soft and corn cheese balls. We ordered couple of drinks as well but they had no option for pizza which is dissappointing. Service is good. Kudos and best wishes!

The place is average. Except for the service, all other aspects are average. The drink I had ordered had too much of ice and water. And the chicken dish was red with color. The ambience was just ok.

I visited the Spectrum Bar on 13th April..it was a Birthday treat and we had some drinks and snacks . The best thing I liked was the environment - not much loud noise and bit dark and cool surrounding. Next is the hospitality and warm welcome. The 3rd is Quality drinks served . The only thing for which I gave 4 star is snacks served was not that great. Only peanuts was given and the Prawns we ordered was not that much great. The chicken fry was Ok. The price range is medium to high .

Spectrum group has undoubtedly come up with the best places for food in town. Whether you mention Kalita Cafe, Spectrum Dine or Spectrum Bar, I am really satisfied with almost everything with these three ventures. This Bar is basically located inside Hotel Shoolin Grand's First floor. As i entered the hotel i was greeted by a lovely lady who showed me the way to the Bar. Basically why i decided to visit is actually related to my earlier visit to their cafe (Kalita Cafe) . As i was mesmerized last time with their cafe, i was pretty sure they wont let me down with their other two places and as such i headed forward to try and experience their other ventures eventually. On my entry there was a small smoking area to my left followed by a private seating space newly added and beautifully decorated. After that you will see a couple of tables which will definitely accomodate roughly around 45-50 people easily. The ambience was just perfect to have the craziest drink of your choice and the lights help you amalgamate with your craziness after the drinks/ shots. I felt the bar counter to be a bit smaller enough considering the other heavy aspects of the place. The prices are well on the higher end obviously because you get to experience a different level of happiness as you be there. What i liked about the bar is like the music played was similar to what it was being shown on the TV. It helps you remain calm with your drinks seriously. Coming to the drinks i was amazed to experience the eye-catching look of the mocktails they prepared. Electric Ice Tea, Ruby queen, Make me love and virgin Pan delight were quite a few drinks that i got to witness. Also they have a happy hour policy Everyday between 12pm-6pm where you get offers like buy one and you get another free. Below are some shots shown that will take your breathe away. Coming to the food now.. I ordered Fish Finger, Grilled Fish, Chicken Steak Sizzler and their show stopper Fire Prawn. Oh boy what it was. I saw this for the first time in the entire Northeast and i was really amazed and happy at the same time. This Fish Finger was awesome but it had some fresh raw oil smell which. The grilled fish was too delicious and the sizzlers were good too. The fresh aroma that came from the sizzlers along with smoke coming from it made me more hungry. The fire prawns came burning on the plate. After reaching my table the fire stopped. The prawns are so tasty and yummy. The taste is kind of 30%sweet, 30%sour and 40% spicy. You will definitely love it. The people who were serving me were too generous, friendly and supportive. I had a great time in here. Also on booking you may avail their special hangout room. Known as 555 also called The Karaoke room. There too you can have your food and drinks and sing to your favourite classics. At the end i got their special desert which was not listed in the menu. It was Nolen Gur Icecream. Its highly recommended by me to taste the ice-cream scoop. We had lunch here a number of times. The servers here are just wonderful and have great memories it seems. We sat on the private room and enjoyed the view with our delicious wine and lunch. Too cosy...Must try!

But hey you gotta pay for a certain level of quality be it food, ambience, music and what not. This place is definitely worth it.<br/><br/>We got to enjoy the happy hours as well and straight away went for shots! Didn't much enjoy the Caipirozka Cocktail though. We also had Nut crusted chicken and their special chicken nuggets. Food was lovely.<br/><br/>The waiter took extra care in our orders and special thanks to Ms. Pompi for her hospitality. Prompt service like this is what sets the bar. Will definitely visit again!

Spectrum bar, the moment I entered it I fell in love with it. The dark interiors make the bar so very romantic and classy. And the service of the staffs is very professional and gentle. Coming to food, we had 1drink and we got another one for free as there was happy hour from 12pm-6pm. Then we had crispy cantonese lamb which was so very delicious. The quantity was more than enough. And lastly we had mutton biryani which was also very good. Sure to visit again very soon👍

This is the best bar in guwahati. When I say best bar, It's the best bar because it does provide not only drinks and the best starters, but also the best service in the northeast. Thanks to Ankit and Himangshu the bar tenders, mr. Rajkamal Bora the manger of f & b but also mr. srimanta hazarika, the chef. I am in love with it.

The entire area is huge and one can easily access. <br/>I am writing this review pretty lately but eventually I was there with two of sisters few months back. <br/>We had a great time !<br/>Food and Drinks was marvellous and also the music was good.<br/>Coming to food I had tried their fire prawns which was deliciously great and something very new in Guwahati. It’s s total steal the show moment !<br/>Infact the taste was very very delicious, it’s something very tempting flavourful.<br/>The chicken malai tikka was my another favourite. <br/>The red wine sangria was really great and served in a completely different presentation.<br/>The baked chicken lasagna was also cooked well with correct amount of authentic Italian flavours & taste.<br/>The cheese balls were also cheesy and crisp cooked well. We also had chicken skewers I guess , that was again a big big thumbs up !<br/>The staff was very gentle and humble. Well if I have to me honest, I'd rate Spectrum Bar more like a 3.8 than a 4.0. Spectrum Dine has always been one of my most favorite fine dining spots to go to in the city! However, Spectrum Bar did not exactly live up to the expectations. Well, the menu's mostly same and the food was for the most part delicious, but there was something missing, although I can't really put my finger on it! Service could have been a wee faster and the food wasn't as great as the last two times I visited(spectrum dine of course).<br/>Thankfully, I visited during happy hours, so it was bliss as there was a buy 1 get one offer on the drinks. Although, there are places at cheaper rates, but one of the most "posh" hotels in the city, it isn't that bad either!<br/>Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Cheers!

This is a long overdue review. I went there with my girlfriends on a weekend as we wanted a bar with good music and of course some good drinks! I already love Spectrum dining and their cafe too. So I was sure the bar would be great too.<br/><br/>We were welcomed by the staff and they made us feel at home. The bar is cute, not too big with some really cool music.<br/><br/>We ordered red wine Sangria and Cosmopolitan. Loved both the drinks. To go with the drinks we ordered Indonesian chicken Satay, murg mithi malai and fire prawns. The fire prawns was suggested by the manager and they were totally drooling! It just made our evening and was the star item. Perfectly grilled prawns and a bit spicy and served on a plate with rum in it and they lit up the plate! We couldn't help but order two plates of it!<br/><br/>I would really recommend this place to everyone. The prices are a bit on the higher end but totally worth it! I loved their starter items basically. A good bar with a cosy ambience however was not quite happy with the Thai main course. The lighting is too dim and the staff takes a lot of time to attend the customers. However their mocktails are really very good!

I have been there lately after hearing a lot about it. They have the same food menu spectrum dine has. The ambience is pretty , service out there is good too. It has good music being played with amazing food. Though its a bit pricy but the food doesnr disappoint. Go ahead

I went there with a positive feeling but honestly I was a bit disappointed by this place. The biggest drawback I felt was that the place is a bit congested. Ambience is good. The food is okay and so is the service. They serve quite a nice variety of cocktails. There is ample opportunity for improvement and I sincerely hope they do improve. All the best!

Been to this palce on sunday with a friend, amazing place with low lighting and decoration. Service was fast and food was good, had Nonveg platter (can't remember the name).<br/><br/>Downside of the pub was that prices were high for both for food and alcohol and place was a bit congusted.

Beautiful decor and friendly staff, this place screams classy in its full meaning. Went there for drinks, but they ran out of stock, so couldn't find much variety in terms of beer. But the food itself was quite good. However, the music that was playing, didn't go much with the Irish theme of the bar. I mean, how often do you expect Punjabi playlists in an Irish bar!

This place is small and the decor is nicely done. Ordered nachos, which was pathetic but the mojito on the other end was really nice.
