Review Ichchapuron - Guwahati

Faruk Rahman
Ichchapuron is a nice place in the new property at Beltola for a peaceful meal. Visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was not very occupied. Food was good and service and ambience were also apt. Ordered veg thali which is an obvious choice as per the design of the menu and katla Kalia as main course and Fish Kabiraji as starter. Fish Kabiraji was not as expected though. It's usually better there.
Raktim Konwar
Taste is well maintained. Authentic Bengali cuisines. Would have been happy if few options like Kabiraji, Bhetki were available. Otherwise, food was good and budget friendly.

Ideal place for Bengali dish. I tried their thali alsong with tel koi, daab chingri and bhapa ilish. Quantity is good. I like the chutney with dates on it. Bit on pricey side. Good for families.

I had visited recently; ordered fish kabiraji, chittol maas jhol, ilish maach and veg thali. Firstly the fish kabiraji was highly dissaponting;they couldn't form a layered egg(a proper mesh of egg) and for the bhetki maach, the portion was really less even for one person. The veg thali had a tomato chutney and payesh. It tasted like bland food of hostel. Overall the fishes were fresh but they tasted very bland. The good part was sorse illish which to my surprise was food. Also the locality wasn't clean enough which makes it less popular maybe. Also the plates were dirty. When I wiped them with white tissue, the issue became blackish.

Usually, it's very rare that we find good fish items in a restaurant. But as many times I have ordered from Ichchapuron, it has been fish items and they are absolutely delicious. And my favorite item, so far, has been the "Chitol Machcher Peti Roast" though Doi Machh was nice too. However, I wasn't a big fan of the Mochar Ghonto, which is why I went for a 4. I would definitely recommend it for the fish items they serve. :)

Please donot waste your money.....the food was disgusting.....it a no no....the chingri was just served in dab not made in it....and they call it dab chingri.... The mutton biriyani rice was just normal rice not basmati... successfully wasted my money.

Good Bengali cuisine..
Bengali food fans must try.
Daab chingri is one of the best dish ever loved it,one must try it and overall the thali has many varieties along with puri. Must come and enjoy.

I ordered food many times from different Apps from ICHCHAPURON, there Chicken Meals (Thali) which includes Rice, Dal, Chicken Curry, Mishti Doi/Payesh, Luchi, One Veg item etc is good.

Their Chicken Biryani is good too.

Must Visit/Order
Saikat
Too much over-priced. They are just plain fooling people around. Rs. 145 for dal. Even all the fish items are over-priced. As if they feed gold to the fishes before cooking. Will never visit again.
Mini
Good ambience and food is good. Nice place to hangout with family. Authentic Bengali dishes of different types available. A bit difficult to read the menu as written everything in Bengali names of the food.
Samiksha Burman
Had ordered Chicken Biryani & Channa Malai Curry thru swiggy from this very restaurant. It wasn't that tasty. However the portion size of the biryani is good but when it comes to taste, its below average. Channa Malai curry was terrible, too sweet n sour. They sent 6 small pieces of channa n charged Rs.225 aftr discount.

Ordered for home delivery and food was very very tasty. Too good. A perfect Bengali touch. And quantity is also very pleasing and reasonable rates.
Sukanya Borthakur
Ordered a veg thali and it was just awesome ❀. The shukto and potoler dalna tasted best. The rice was properly cooked and cholar dal was yummy. The payesh could have tasted better.
First off they need to change their staff. And it looks like the management has given up on it. Have just come out of this place and writing this. We asked for masala T- up as they call it and the drink that came was a glass of something that was definitely not thumps up. My guess is they have opened bottles in their kitchen that have lost the fizz, and served a glass of it with only jal jeera, charged 65/- for it. Asked the guy to return, came back with a glass of normal thumps up, which was priced lesser in the menu. Still had to pay the masla coke price for it. The thali was passable, but the alu jhuri was stale. They keep them fried for a long time.
And best part is they charged us for a bottle which we didnt use. When pointed out, the waiter said its our duty to point out before they make the bill. You want this to work instead of the dismal, dirty place with lots of sad looking tables, pls change your staff

Amazing food. Their thali is pretty good. Chicken kosha was awesome; quality and quantity wise. Pocket friendly place with good food. Ambience could be a bit better though.
Hrishikesh Mahanta
The Icchapuron Thali is a must try, i loved d Mutton kosha and Daab chingri d most. D Dhakai pura mangsho was too sweet. Over all a great place for lunch n dinner. Quiet place n not crowdy.
Himakshi Pathak
Worst food ever had . We ordered veg thali and sorshe fish. Thali was so so. But the fish was the worst. They served fish which tasted and smelled like it was days old.only plus point was the hot gulabjamun in the thali. Food taste needs to be improved.
Jayashree
roti and dal were good. proper salad could be added.
Partha Pratim
not at all good, very cheap quality, the quantity is very less compared to the price... 2 times we are misguided.... never order from this restaurant..
Avinav Sharma
Ordered arher macher kalia and this is the size of the fish you get. Hardly the size of a tablespoon for 355, 2pieces of tablespoon sized fish fillet.
Swati
The food was average in taste. We tried Daab Chingri and Fish Curry along with Veg Thali. Daab Chingri was good but rest of the items were pretty average. Interior of the restaurant is nice.

I heard a lot about this place so yesterday I ordered mutton kosha and kachori puri. Food was delivered on time by Zomato but when I opened it I was very disappointed because I have ordered full plate mutton kosha but they send half plate only four pieces. Whereas I have paid full plate amount.. Worst experience
Nupur Barman
I ordered fish kalia through zomato, and I am so disappointed. The fish tasted like rubber and smelled horrible, the fish pieces are almost fried to the state of burned to mask the fact that they are old and smelly. Ordered mutton a couple of days ago, it was tough, chewy and full of bones. Don't order from here if you are looking for good quality food, not worth it at all
Mohona Banerjee
really supportive executive. i was sending food for my brother. i live in kolkata he lives in guwahati. the executive helped me alot to surprise my brother in the occation of bhaidoj. and the food quality and quantity is perfect.
Deepanka Bora
Nice taste of food . Location wise good Center place. I like the simple yummy food. Quantity is less but the item is over all nice. Amounts are little bit higher but overall good. A Family restaurant you can enjoy the food especially Bengali guys ☺️
Sanku Paul
Maha Bhog Thali, Couldn't finish all but it worth sharing with another, I think the Maha bhog thali was during Puja, but I once had there regular thali which is also awesome, must try dab chingri
NS
The food was amazing! It was well cooked and truly delicious. Also the ambience was decent.
The only thing I was disappointed and dissatisfied was the service. According to my view there isn't enough staff to coordinate so took like an hour and a half for the food to arrive. And there weren't enough staff in sight so had to look around most of the time to call them for ordering food etc. But the food was amazing must say. If the quality of the waiters etc is improved this restaurant will be flawless in my view.
Sulaxmi Borah
Heard a lot about this place, ordered chicken thali from swiggy. Food was delivered on time. Taste was ok, not that great as expected. I liked the mix vegetable n dal.
Chandni Khaund
The chicken ordered was one full. But quantity was very less!! Terrible! Why are you cheating customers?
Enakshi Das
We went there during soptomi with my Assamese frnds.. My friends liked it too. Had ichapuron special thali and daab chingri.. Awesome taste!! Mutton Thali was superb.. We had a great day together..
Roopsa Mullick
Good place to have bengali cuisine in Guwahati. Had basmati rice, sona mug daal and chicken kosha. Tasted good and the dishes were freshly prepared.
Kunal Kaushik
One of the worst available... I took my parents in such enthusiasm and I was ashamed like anything. Everything was cold and tasteless. And the attitude of the server was as if he was the president of India. Also he bought a main course after dessert and when I asked to meet the manager and they said they can't do that. Please don't take anyone of yours their if u don't wanna be ashamed. Go somewhere else. Ichcha puron is pathetic
Priyo.kumar54
Ruined my puja food , careless staff
No value for money
Restaurants at this price range has no details of the foods they have.
Taste was not even same as normal days .
Festive season has its own perks if you guys cant provide the same service please stick a banner on the door quoting β€œwe are closed today β€œ .

Totally unsatisfied.
Being a big fan of Bengali cuisine, me and my wife decided to give a try there. We ordered a veg thali, Basanti Pulao, Dab Chingri and Chicken Curry.
The thali was bellow average . Even a road side stall serve a much better thali under β‚Ή50. I will give 1 out of 5 for the thali.
Dab Chingri was Ok,again not worth the value.(2 out of 5)
Pulao and Chicken was good though but not excellent.(3 out of 5).
Ambience was ok.
Staff were good and polite.
After following the hype for this restaurant,I went up for a lunch with my parents yesterday. The exterior of the place is quite attractive, which satisfied and pleased our eyes initially..
Upon reaching upto the dine in place,we observed the ambience is of ok ok types..As we were much interested on the food,we ignored the yellowish floor...
We ordered a veg thali each and then orderd bhappa illish,Illish paturi, chicken kosha and baked mihidana...
Firstly, they took a lifetime to get our orders served.Upon that they were running out of bhappa illish which made us settle for illish paturi..But the illish paturi smelled like stale fish for which we couldnt have that. The chicken and the Veg thali was good only.
Coming back to the ambience and hygeine..The washroom is extremely smelly and dirty..This pointed out to the factor that they are low on maintainance..
One serious suggestion,Please maintain the basic hygeiene and food quality factor..Your venture can reach heights..

Banashree Baruah
A quick escape for lunch and returned fully satisfied. The place was not too crowed and sitting arrangements was ok. We decided to sit facing the hustle and bustle of busy Ganesh Mandir Road. Service was prompt and food was super delicious. We order the Ichchapuron Thali along with Doi Maach, Doi Murgi, Daab Chingri and Mutton Kosha. Along with the non veg add on specialities each and every item of the veg thali was delectable. The Tomato and Dates Tog was finger licking good. Happy Tummy, Happy Us! In short, a good experience. Will surely visit soon!
Risha Lahkar
Every item that we ordered was wowsome...a very friendly and welcoming staff...spacious and pocket-friendly...personal favourite will always be daabchingri and not to forget the complimentary soup was really very refreshing
Gargi Sarma
A place with prompt service ,friendly staff and simple interiors.Best one to go for a perfect main course Bengali meal . The daab chingri is ruling the menus ..It's perfect in taste and presentation. You can try having it with steamed rice along with ilish served in any sort.I liked it to the chore.Other dishes are regular ones and the prices are reasonable. It's location is another add on to attract a good traffic. So,you can randomly visit this place without much planning while u r on your way back home via that road.

Ended up being there at the restaurant because my mother wanted to try it out. We had ordered Bhetki fish cutlet and fried chicken strips for starters. For mains there were Paturi Ilish, a Bangladesh style prawn gravy, dal and rice.
Loved the fish cutlet. Absolutely loved the lemon marinated deep fried chicken. The prawn was served in shells which I personally am not a fan of, probably because the dish had a thick rich gravy. The taste was amazing though. The paturi ilish was especially yum and easy on the palate. Bonus points for deboning the fish. I don’t know much about Bengali food. I thought I wasn’t much of a fan, but this place kind of changed my perception towards it. Thumbs up!
Kritanjalee Sandillya
Highly satisfied.
I decided to visit all the restaurants serving bengali cuisine in Guwahati and this is at the top till now.
I ordered Veg Thali. Taste was really good and worth the money. I also had Fish Curry, Prawn Fries and Chicken. Over all, everything was good. I will visit again.. ❀️

Nice place I been there very next day of its opening...
Food is good...
Service was okay okay...
Time of been there central AC was under maintenance....
Such a worst experience in the time of summer...

On Plate : Ichchapuron Thali (Veg).
Price : Rs.195/-
.
.
.
Review : It's quite a decent Bengali Veg Thali at Good Price Range. The Quantity is enough to make your hungry stomach full. A must try Thali if you are carving for Veg. It have a balanced taste in it. Its worth a try. Do Visit & Try it.
Shreya Choudhury
I had been there in durga puja, they charged 700 per person for buffet, but the food was really bad. I felt like it would have been better to eat at home. The ambience was a big turn off since they kept chairs covered with cheap white satin clothes and it felt we were in some wedding party. Not worth the money. Did not visit after that though, i guess in normal days, without a buffet the food must be good.
RockBazz Santu
Very nice experience overall food and sevice
We really spend a great time here . Food portion quantity should be increase . That's my suggestion

Special thanks to. Amit

I came here for lunch yesterday and ordered Bengali Vegetarian thali and Mutton kosha, and here are my experience -
The rice that was served was smelly and was of poor quality. The description here says 1000/- for two but they couldn't get something as basic as plain rice correct. Mutton kosha was chewy and the meat was of inferior quality and I almost choked on it everytime I tried to gulp down.
The size of the menu is commendable but they didn't have Non-vegetarian thali on it and it was evident that this is a cheap marketing tactic employed by the restaurant because someone willing to have a non-vegetarian thali would obviously order the vegetarian thali and then order non-vegetarian items separately and pay more.
The washroom is not in the best of shapes and the hand towel kept beside the basin seemed like it hasn't been washed even once since the inception of the restaurant.
The only positive about the restaurant was that the Waiting staff was polite and repeat orders were prompt and that in no way can compensate the bad food in the restaurant.
If you're looking for a good Bengali restaurant in the city, I suggest you try Kasturi instead.

Highly satisfied with this restaurant. The environment and ambience of this restaurant is very good. The staff members were extremely friendly and polite to us. The bengali dishes served there was too tasty. Had a awsome meal there.

Finally visited for lunch today and I don't know if they were having a bad day or it was a usual scene but everything was disappointing. From the food to the service to the cleanliness....the floors were dirty and stained, there was shortage of cutlery, service was tedious. Coming to the food, we ordered a Fish Kobiraji, which was pronounced delicious on spot but the rest of the food was extremely forgettable from the fish curry, aloo bhaja to the desserts. Certainly not visiting again or recommending to anyone. There are way many more places in Guwahati that dishes out a decent Bengali meal.
Saptomi Baruah
Visited today for lunch. We had ichchapuron Thali and doi maach. Ichchapuron thali tasted good but it can be improved. Same goes for doi maach. I have tasted better.
Nilima Kalita
I have visited only once and I tried the dinner buffet. Food was ok but the cost doesn't match the quality of food or the interiors. The mutton gravy tastes good if you are a spice lover than you can visit once
Akshit
Great ambience. Quantity less compared to other places. Price ok as per standard n polite stuff. Child friendly as well so thanks for the hospitality.

This is a good place to have a variety of Bengali foods. The ambience is good and the waiters are also very good. They treat you very well. The food is also very tasty.

Hemanka Bharali
Thali is good..Good variety of items... However ala kart tastes below average and quantity is also very less compared to their price...Even though price of thali is on the higher side, still would recommend thalis....
Food4Thought
Bad place. Impolite staff.
Disinterested manager. And on top of it, bad seating and cheap tables.
The food is average, and the fish I had had an awkward smell.
Not going to give this place another visit and suggest readers of this review to skip it too

Hyped for no reason.

I want to give them a 0.
Manish Gayan
Had heard a lot about this place and was not at all disappointed when I visited today. The food is just perfect with the right amount of spices and really well cooked. We started off with Fish Kobiraji (a unique dish of bhetki fish recommended by the staff, never had tried before and was quite different and good). Among the main course we had Jhur Jhure Aloo Bhaja (one the most common and delightful dishes of the Bengali food), Bhapa Ilish (a Bengali speciality), Daab Chingri (loved this dish particularly, quite well presented and was delicious), Chicken Kosha (very oily and spicy and loved every bit of it 😁). Finally after filling our stomachs we had to go for the sweet corner, ordered Malpua with ice-cream (was ok, not that great). Loved the food, though ambience can be improved and would definitely visit very soon.
Preeti Saikia
One of my favorite restaurants. I love the doi murgi and shorshe ilish of ichapuron. Way to go Ichapuron. The best bengali restaurant in town so far.
Rittick Sarmah
we reached hotel at 10:05 pm and asked for thali but they denied to serve the same also they said its last time so we have to give complete order on one go, no where in the menu written the time. request the owner to look into it.
Aditya Singh
The next best thing to a home-cooked Bengali meal! The quality of ingredients and mastery over traditional cooking techniques shines through. Great ambience which indicates its all about the food :) the daab chingri is a recipe worth stealing.
Pradip Goswami
we are having food at Ichapuron and we are really happy and satisfied .Food is really great .we really relished every single item specially shorshe ilish mach and dal is out of the world.please maintain this authenticity will visit soon .

I just loved the food it's authentic and its very good.... friends you can get the real feel of authentic bengali food in this restaurant.. best wishes to the team

After hearing a decent review from a friend I finally visited the restaurant. Frankly speaking I was elated with the idea of eating at a Bengali restaurant. But to my dismay the Bengali thali turned out to be below average and the Chicken kosha didn't taste anything like the actual dish. In fact all the dishes served in the thali were bland, do not look appealing and you don't experience any tickle in your taste buds. Didn't dare to try other items as I was skeptical about splurging more money on something that could be disappointing again. Food potion was less but since it wasn't tasty we didn't feel like eating full thali. Since the price of the thali is comparatively on the higher side than many restaurants, they should work on the authenticity and taste in the food items as well. Overall we had a disappointing experience.
Modhupi Chatterjee
This was my 4th time in Ichhapuron, first 3 times were awesome.. but this time i was very disappointed. The quality and quantity of the thali has decreased. Taste was not up to the mark. We ordered mochar chop, fish kabiraji, veg thali, tel koi, doi eilish, mutton kosha, chicken faridpuri. Mochar chop and fish kobiraji was great. Mutton n chicken were also good, but eilish was not at all fresh and they literally change the meaning of tel koi. They used mustard in tel koi which shouldn't be and also there was no salt in tel koi. When we wanted to talk to the manager the waiter said that he is busy, we have waited a lot but he didn't came.. though he was inside the kitchen only.
Momi Sharma
Tried fish curry and love I love it. It's is great for Bengali cuisine. The fish with mustard paste is great. Flavors are authentic and fresh
Kasturi Kashyap
A perfect place for all the bengalis who love their dishes
cooked with love amd effort
served with smile
prices are reasonable
i love the interior
staffs are polite

I had a rather disappointing experience having Sunday lunch in this place. I tried their buffet and found it falling short. The food was cold. Not even one thing was served hot. The main course did not tickle my taste buds at all. Ambience was not pleasant with a dirty washroom to go to.Only saving grace was the rasogolla and misti doi. The one thing that I liked was the drinking water served in clay glass. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. And off course goes without saying that this was my last visit to Ichchapuron.
Nishan Medhi
Tried their weekend special buffet.
Starters were cold as well as the main course but the taste was really good. Worth a try. Desserts were good. Make sure you go for dinner between 6 30 to 7 30. Or best is go for lunch.
Jnanesh Deka
This is the best Bengali cuisine restaurant u can find in the entire city.. everything is precise, calculated and well organised. The staff is too good and the dishes omg. Please do have a visit at this restaurant. Their thali is special and u will get a good knowledge about their overall taste. Got to know today when i visited that on Saturdays and Sundays you will not get the thalis. The thali costs Rs. 195/- now and the Buffet which consists 25items on the list costs Rs. 555/- including tax.
Dils Aoipa
Food was good . Salt was less . Spices were optimum . The ambience was good .. overall a beautiful evening spent in a Bengali way. Recommended
Sumanta Roy
Had visited the place thrice....ideal place for family gathering and parties. Happy with the taste and hospitality rendered during my Daughter's 1st Birthday....definitely a place that may be recommened to other.
Keeping the good things going.
SUMIT DAS
Had the veg thali ( refillable) and their faridpuri chicken and the dhona pata kacha lonka chicken. The thali was decent, a non bengali will enjoy it. But for me as someone who has the items on almost a daily count, the selection of the items and the taste need some look in.
The chicken dishes, both of them were really good. Properly balanced between the sweet and spicy meters, both can warrant a second try.
Overall a good experience which could have been excellent.
Debasish Sarma
Although slightly on the expensive side, I really liked the taste.. also the food is not very heavy.. special shoutout to the service there.. the food did not take long to get delivered..
Swapnil Medhi
Went in for lunch..the interior was and ambience was nice and calm...a authentic bengali cuisine restaurant..service was good..but the price was too costly.ordered plain rice , shro dal , bhetki fish and dhakai pora mangsho ..the taste was overall good...
Dr Sayan Paul
I had a very average experience @ Ichchapuron..The starters(Kobiraji, fish fry)were decent..The thaali was very poorly stuffed..there was no misti doi,no rossogolla and instead they served Gulab jamun(which is never a bong sweet) (can u imagine a bengali thali without those too)..,the shukto was very average.the rice they served they claimed it too be basmati but it was not that either, it was cheap Quality rice..there was even 'mati dali'..which is also not a bong preparation..The doi chicken was average and worst of them all was Chingri malai Curry..it was stale and resembled as if it was dumped in a orange gravy!
U just can fool the people the people by serving whatever u want and like and giving it a name...
Shanta Dutta
Awesome food, great ambience, kids friendly, very good service..... We ordered veg thali with mutton kosha, shorshe bata diye aar machher jhal, borishaler chingri, kolkata fish fry- taste of each of the item was heavenly.Price is also reasonable..... highly recommended

This is a very nice and popular restaurant for authentic Bengali cuisines. I was there just to spend some quality time with family. I liked the ambience and food here. I ordered few Bengali dishes and I liked them. I will definitely visit again.

Yesterday I had dinner at a unique place outiside my hometown(Kolkata). The items were cooked to perfection just like home. To specify: Mutton kosha and borishaler chingri. I had the Ichchapuron thali and the non veg items above.
In short, Bengali food never tasted better!!
Way to go Ichchapuron. πŸ‘πŸ‘

Awesome Bengali food that tickles your taste buds well. I tried thali with pabda fish curry. It was really great and will leave you craving for more.

in the city like Guwahati search of proper Bengali cuisine is come to an end here for me ✌️.
just located near Ganeshguri . decoration is normal . simple family restro . alcohol not served .
quality is up to the mark . i really like it . because in Guwahati there is just some of the hotels served good bengali food . and the thali price is very reasonable . they charged 160 bucks +tax for it . its very good . and you can take all again. jist how many time you want πŸ€—. and just order any other non veg item like Chicken,Mutton, Doi katla, sorse r mach, arr mach . and your lunch or dinner is complete πŸ˜‰.

It was Bihu lunch at Ichchapuran today, it was also my first visit here. The Buffet was going on but I decided to go with `a la carte. I had Steamed rice, Kosha pathar mangsho, tomato diye pabda jhol, Daab Chingri and Misti doi. The Daab chingri was delicious though I found the Tomato diye pabda'r jhol too tangy and the Kosha mangsho was little sweeter. It was quite rush due to festive season and so may be for that they took almost 40min to bring the order. I was okay with the overall taste of the food. #bengalicuisine #guwahatifoodblogger #foodie

Been here with fam. Relished the buffet. Simply heaven. ❀
Prolly around 20-30 food items at just Rs 550+tax.
Special mention: Tomato chutney, Chicken Kosha, Gondhoraaj, Roshogulla, that Paneer and cherry gravy. Extraordinarily awesome.

Absolutely amazing food.its a must try for Bengali cuisine in Guwahati . All the ingredients are extremely fresh including fish and meat. And the service is wonderful. We ordered Bhapa illish and malai chingri (huge pieces of jumbo prawns) were amazing!
We definitely visit again.

Outstanding MUTTON KASHA and ILISH BHAPA!!! The toilet was clean and the stuff was courteous. Better than most of the other bengali restaurants. This restaurant has a soul of it own. Will go again.

Best shorshe bata diye aar mach and mutton was excellent too. Quality of rice is very good. Amazing hospitality too by the service boys. Keep it up!

Been there on 1st of January... Ordered veg thalis, illish paturi & mutton kosha....The food was really good...nice ambience & good service too...
The thali definitely stands out for me, at 160 they serve good quality & quantity...And let me inform You, the thali they serve, can be refill again.....
The sukto, saag, mix veg served in the thali were awesome in taste.... mutton kosha was nicely spiced up ...well illish paturi was ok....if U wanna try illish dishes opt for bhapa or the gravy one, U will get proper piece of fish...if U wanted to taste Bengali food, this is the place & surely m visiting again & again. Btw they serve complimentary chips & soup too.

It was a very bad Bengali food I ever had. That Thali was worst taste like a south Indian cuisine. Dal was like a tangi south Indian flavor and yellow aloo Bharta was like dosa masala and Tometo chutney was like sweetless tengi chutney even khir also like light milk n rice mix together. I don't think so the cook or chef is a good experience person who well known about right the knowledge on Bengali cuisine. They should improve it and washroom door every time opened when I was there. Bad experience πŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘Ž

Ichchapuron's food was great because there wasn't any extra confection done with the food. It was simple yet very tasty.
Ambience is good too. The service was quite fast even when there were many customers at the time I went.

Located in Ganeshguri in BK tower, this restaurant is spacious. Interior is average. Clean. Staff -- Ambient. Food-- Loved it ! Veg thali -- very good. Koraishutir Kochuri ( Puri stuffed with peas ) -- good. Firdosi Chicken-- very good. What I loved the most-- Prawn dry fry ( it was on Chef's special menu that day ), one of the best prawns I have ever had ! Will definitely revisit ! 😍😊

It’s a nice restaurant for a good family dinner. The prices are a tad more, but who cares when it compensates with the taste. Fish dishes r a must try. And yeah bengali restro so expect sugar, n takes forever to reach ur table. Good for family but for date ? πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

Expected alot but... πŸ‘Ž First of all its overrated and too sweet. Ordered demardevil (basically egg chop), veg thali, fish tomato curry and daab chingri (prawns in coconut). The daal was sweet felt like having sweet dish. They took alot of time to serve too. They need to improve alot. Daab chingri costs 395rs which was not worth @ all.
