Assam Traditional Style Dining Restaurant in a beautiful place. Everything is traditional from Top to Bottom even the people worked here. Tasty and delicious πŸ˜‹ food in reasonable price. Presentation was superb.

Very good food. Ambience and service also very good. Both veg and non veg items were good enough.

We ordered veg thali along with fish fry and chicken dry fry. Veg thali was great for the amount we paid and the fish fry was good too. But the restaurant is a bit lacking behind in terms of cleanliness but other than that the staff was amicable and ready to help. Had a great time visiting them.

The best part about bor luit is the authentic assamese food with traditional atmosphere. The service was very good and overall it was a good experience. Assamese thali is a must try other than that Chinese dishes are not up to the mark so a 4 star, otherwise I would have rated 5.

A pure ethnic restaurant where you will find authentic assamese cuisines at affordable price. The interior of this restaurant is beautifully decorated with bamboo chair and table and their staff wear traditional assamese dress. They also serve Chinese food and hot beverages like tea, coffee. It's purely a family restaurant.

The first thing you see when you enter this place are the well polished traditional assamese styled wooden furniture which gives you that classic vibe. Coming to the food, the chicken bamboo is a must try and to die for. They also have the vegetable thali which is really good for its price. The fried mutton is a treat to the taste buds. I highly recommended this place for affordable and great food.

If you have another option, definitely don't choose this place.... Nothing tastes like authentic food and Chinese is horrible! Also the service is extremely unprofessional.

Good place. Aesthetic looks. Tried to maintain the ethnic culture in outfit, serving and food.
Suggestion: air condition is essential to make more pleasant ambience.

Worst experience ever! Tasteless food, and stale fish. They charge 220 per plate for stale fish. And 320per plate for chicken which consist of only 3small pieces. Plus their dishes were so dirty. And very slow service. I will never recommend this place to anyone.
A Cockroach flew around first and not a single member of the establishment tended to the issue; upon the condition of the insect flying on to the table and on me causing a ruckus (scared tantrum XD) for the attention of the staff. The food could have been enjoyed if health code violation didn't occur or some sort of reimbursement or assurance.
A decent place near amingaon with nice authentic assamese interiors and environment. The bamboo made table and chairs are one of a kind. The place gets generally crowded during peak hours. Coming to the food we ordered the chicken thali and it came with almost 10 different items with joha rice. The taste and quality was good and all these were cooked in pure authentic assamese style which is quite a thing to cherish about. The chicken curry was good overall in taste and so were the other items. The staff were well coordinated and properly dressed in assamese attire. Overall it's worth a visit for a pure experience of assamese culture and taste.

Kheer was very good and special.Veg thali was also upto mark.Aloo parathas were awesome.πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ.Food items are reasonable. The best thing to have here is the aloo paratha..it is very reasonable and also tastes good.

Worst service in a restaurant ever. I had to leave my seat.
Staff members are so arrogant that they don't care about anything. I had to vacate my seat before even ordering.

My father ordered a fish thali. He was really happy with the thali. My mother ordered veg thali with rou sorsori ( rou fish with mustard seeds), which initially they served wrong and gave the fish curry they serve with the thali. On informing them, they changed it. I ordered veg thali with chicken in sesame seeds ( til). I was really disappointed. It was over charged and the pieces were all really bad. Hence I decreased one star.

It was a relief to to see a neatly done up place on the highway and smarty dressed up staff. But the good part ends there. Ordered thali, they goofedup the order, and when we pointed it out the stare was as if "eat what is given". They changed it. We ignored it thinking it to be a one off case but the other table too was complaining about the wrong food given. The food was presented well, but everything was just too spicy hot. Just a single serving of dal had about 4 chillies. One can imagine what would be the consequence the next morning. Staff need to be trained and cut down on the chilled in all the dishes.

It was lunch time and instead of ordering too much item one by one, I ordered a veg thali from borluit since it was the only restaurant providing veg thali in the menu. Given the fact, we have very less choice of choosing restaurants providing delivery to IIT Guwahati,I felt Borluit was a safe option. Though I was skeptical about how they would provide the food, packaging and all of that. But when the delivery came, to my surprise I really loved the strong seal packed package so that no food would leak. The thali came with rice, dal, 6 items and salad. I really loved the food, specially the kheer was awesome. Whenever you are hungry and want to skip those choosing from the menu, I would surely recommend this, specially for home delivery.

Ordered the Veg thali (Rice, Daal, Aloo Chitka, Kheer, Saag, Vegetable fry,..) . It's really good. The special thing is the food-simplicity and a nice attempt to provide local Assamese delicacy.Β The price is also in budget. Next time I would really like to try fish or chicken thali.

Literaly the worst crispy chilly babycorn i ever had in my entire life. Ordered through zomato. N d food was horrible. Squishy and smelly. Totally dnt recommend this place

We went there as a group of 11 people on an office lunch party.... We mainly ordered veg thalis, chicken n fish for everyone.... Food was okay, however the local chicken with sesame smelled stale... On telling the waiter about this, he refused to accept it was stale.... On billing, they didnt feel the necessity to remove the 2 plates of stale chicken from the bill... 2 stars because except for that chicken, other items were okay ..... And also much cheaper compared to equivalent restaurants in the city

I dont have a bunch of photos taken at this place because i was so much busy enjoying the food .. After Such a long time in Assam and a visit to this place was really nice .. it was suggested by one of the persons i met .. coming to the food .. i actually enjoyed the Bilahi Borali Maas'r tenga .. but the smell of joha rice was in lack .. overall the place is a must visit .. allright now the ambience .. it is all with horai , japi and chair made out of bamboo which made the place looks more beautiful with that feeling of being an Assamese .. and the service girls guys wearing the beautiful assamese attire πŸ’šπŸ’š well i appreciated them with a good feedback .. the price is reasonable and worth it .. πŸ’šπŸ’š

First of all, this place is always full, have to wait for around half an hour. We got a table near the kitchen, it was hot there, the waitress had no idea about portion of the dish. Wanted to order rice and chicken, but the waitress suggested to order thali as it would take less time to prepare. Food was good though!
Sourav Kalita
Tasty and pocket friendly. Lots of rush. Some items from the menu are not available if you are bit late at lunch time. Overall very good location and parking facility is also available

It was really a good exprince to visit Borluit.
A very good place to park and the environmemt of the resturant was beautiful, staff dressed in authentic assamese dress, well behaved and friendly, the chair made of Bamboo.

I ordered Assamese Non Veg Thali, Nan, Kulcha, Alu Dum, it was great.

And I prefer less spicy food and felt good that the food was not so spicy.

The staff were very good.

And also the food price is good.

Kaushiki Kalita
The best place for authentic food at a very reasonable price ... Location is beautiful... ambience is very nice..and the staff too.. must go
Pranit Das
Nice traditional food restaurant. Staff are wearing traditional dresses. Food items are delicious. But pegeon and pork available here. Sometimes some items like local chicken mutton are not available in dinner.
In one word i just love this place. An authentic Assamese veg thali cost only 90/- rupees. Too cheap and food quality is up to the mark. They served two types of daal, two types of sabji, khar, aloo pitika and payokh in sweet. Mutton dry fry was moist & juicy. Only one advice please don't use masala in black daal, it ruins the original taste.
Ambience: 3.5/5
Food: 3.5/5
Service: 4/5
Cost : 4/5
A house of quality assamese cuisine. Ambience neatly done with cane furnitures and beautiful assamese songs playing in the background!!! Coming back to food which is the crux of the matter, thalis provide the wholesome assamese meal comprising from khai to mati dal😊 Mutton dry fry was yum and my favorite in the platter. All in all a pleasant experience πŸ˜€πŸ˜€
