We went there in Feb 2022.We had meeting with VIP’s from Lucknow. Of of the Old restaurants of guwahati having a nice green ambience . An amazing family/friend dine in place in the middle of Guwahati City. Outdoor and Indoor both dine in facilities are available there. Pros : *Delicious food *Beautiful place for photo shoot *Amazing sports complex view outside. Cons: *Delay serving *Little bit costly as compared to the portion and quality served. Overall I recommend this place for weekdays as during weekend there is so much rush and crowd.

First of all, this place is very very stunning. The location is so good. Everywhere around, there is greenery. The staff is very co-operative and the place is maintained very well. You can go anytime to enjoy with your friends to enjoy quality time with friends. You can celebrate birthday or go on a date. The quality of food is good, but it needs a lot of improvement. There is very less option. Please provide some more options. Location: It is situated very close to Guwahati railway station. Just walk for 5 mins within from 1 number platform side. You'll be there. Just enjoy the time.

Me and my friends tried their breakfast buffet which cost only Rs130 per person.. The buffet includes puri ,sabji ,sambhar ,chutney ,eggs, bread butter, coffee, poached egg, omlet, cakes etc.. The taste was ok not that great.. Bt the amount of food they gve in 130 is quite good..

I have been here several times before but this mini south indian combo made me write this review. It's quite yummy and fulfilling at just 220rs. In this combo, everything was just as they should be,vada was crispy, masala dosa was on point, and the uttapam better than many other places, only minor issue was that I found the coconut chutney to be a little watery. The fresh lime soda ordered along was perfect. I deducted the 2points because of the poor service there, the waiters don't listen to your instructions, there are no tissues even.Even after waiters being there,it becomes self service as you have to fetch things for yourself.

Food served is delicious with prompt service. Easy on the pockets. Nice envioronment to hang out with loved and dear ones.
I have one complaint regarding mix veg uttapam that why only onion and carrot in mix veg... There should be more variety of veg, atleast 3-4. Just a suggestion from my side. Otherwise it is good.

Its a good place for breakfast especially when you want to pay less and eat more. The buffet breakfast will help you crunch your appetite with various dishes everyday and quench your thirst as well. You get two main dishes plus cake, omlette (optional), bread slice with butter or jam, tea or coffee.
Its a good place to start your day with a tummy filling breakfast.

If u ask me which outlet to opt for if dining in food villa, my answer definitely would be breakfast....
A long list of breakfasts are serves here....i have gone for the chicken samdwich a number of times...and each time i fell in love with that....
From creamy soup to caramel compote in strawberry sauce all just leaves a mark in your taste buds as well as in your face with a smile....
However i think they have made some alterations in the menu yet there are items in the menu needs to be tasted...
Go there and a have a bite of something u would like to start your day with.....

This place is a hoax. Nothing that is mentioned on zomato about this place is true ! There is just a fix buffet with poori subzi n bread. The staff is rude too. Never visiting here again

They serve the complimentary breakfast of the same old puri baaji and say they have nothing else in menu till afternoon. Its run by who doesn't know what to answer other than keeping a poker face. Worst place for breakfast.

Located inside Food Villa, this place is generally ignored by the scores of food lovers who throng this place. But not many people know, this place has some really fantastic food items. There's variety in the menu and the food is high on taste and easy on the wallet.
Special Mention: The Sandwiches (Chicken and Grilled Cheese)👌

This joint is situated in Food Villa and they provide a wide range of items for English Breakfast. If you want to have something light as a snack then this joint is recommended.

Taste : 4/5
Value for money : 4/5
Ambiance : 4/5
Hospitality : 4/5

It is my favourite among all the others in Food Villa. I love their breakfast, chicken stroganoff, sandwiches and the pancakes. I don't like their burgers though. Everything is so affordable and it's a good place to hang out. Just that, it remains really crowded in the weekends.
Do try the food here guys, if you happen to visit Food Villa.

Ohh the breakfast in here is awesome. It serve breakfast till 10am. Situated in food Vila. Tried English breakfast which was real good. Have not tried rest of menu. So I will review it later. The name serve the real value of the cause, breakfast. A recommended place to have a good breakfast if you are in near by of it.

Food: 4/5
Service: 3.5/5
Ambiance: Food Vila, so it is crowdy

This place is quite good and being in a food court, gives one quite a huge diversity in the menu. The ambience, the view and the location of this place is one of the best in the city. Both the Indian and the chinese are quite tasty and given the price, its one of the best value for money one can get. Also, the burgers are some of the best and very close to the what they actually should be. The sauages served with herbs and mashed potato is quite a unique dish to try out.

I have been to this place a lot many times... The food it good real good.. Medium range budget... Good fast service.. Only issue is the person behind the counter... She's a pain in the ass... every.single.time. her behavior isn't quite like you would want to face early in the morning! It's not always about food.. Sometimes it's also about how welcoming the people behind the counter is!

A good place for breakfast in food court near railway station but lack of options and mediocre taste really turns down the hype.

I just went out of my train to guwahati and searched for a decent place for breakfast. Found this nearby and paid it a visit. It is in a food court hall shared by several other outlets. Seating is basic and staff is also not much of a special treat. The menu on zomato showed a variety of options but at the outlet very few were available. I ordered a mushroom cheese omelet with coffee. It arrived after some time. Though the omelet was decent and served with toasts I was expecting more in terms of fillings. There were just some mushrooms and no considerable seasonings or basic veggies. So although being average it had clear scope of improvement. Same story was narrated by coffee.

Prices are bit on lower side but I did not found it a value of money affair. Still recommended if you are nearby in look for a decent breakfast place as there is nothing else nearby of same domain and near level.

My Rating:
1. Food: 3.25/5
2. Ambiance: 3.5/5
3. Service: 3.5/5
4. Value of Money: 3.25/5

This outlet has gt a division named Red Pizza. So the review goes for it..I tried there butter chicken pizza & seafood pizza. With its thin crust n melting cheese, the pizza taste jus awesome, the slice of d pizzas are fair enough. If u r in foodvilla,& in a mood to hv pizza go fr it instead of dominos.

Panbazaar with its sleepy airs and it's general penchant for taking it easy received a shot in the arm with the opening of Food Villa, Guwahati's first food court worth the name sometime back. Even though I had been there a few times, I really happened to miss out on this. And that too, when this is perhaps one of the very few breakfast places in Guwahati except perhaps the breakfast buffets of hotels and very few other places.

A breakfast joint two minutes away from my office and five minutes from my place needed to be checked out! So I landed up there one fine morning and the second pleasant surprise awaited me!
The breakfast buffet costs you 80 bucks per head! In this day, in that ambience!

They had a buffet of Puris and Aloo Dum, some delightful crispy vadas with delicious coconut and tomato chutney. Then you could order some toast and eggs- made to order just the way you wanted them!
And the. Wash it all down with tea or coffee as you desire.

The puris were a bit oily but good nonetheless with none of the stale oil aftertastes. The aloo dum was okay as well.
The vadas were the clincher: small, crispy and light. And the chutneys - coconut and tomato separately were fresh an thick. The accompanying Sambar also fared pretty well on my tastebuds.

Didn't have eggs but ordered some toast. Brown bread, toasted crisp with some coffee and we had ourselves a killer deal!

Definite visit again on my cards!

One of the most beautiful riverside place. Breakfast buffet is very recommended. Dont neglect B&M. Foods are very tasty. I went there with my cousins. They also loved a lot.

Very nice place for an early morning visit. Really good food. This place is generally ignored at times over safer options. But then a place definitely worth a try.

Not a lot of places serve breakfast in Guwahati but this is one pleasant surprise. Reaching the place around 8 AM, the best thing is lesser people around you in that RAILWAY-PLATFROM (noise pollution anyone?) themed food court. For 80 bucks what you get in an Air Conditioned space with free chilled water is more than what you expected. They had an array of things to chose from. Puri Sabji, Dosas, Eggs cooked to your liking (omelette, masala omelette, scrambled), bread toast, tea and coffee. You even had the option of ordering additional items to munch on. I wanted sausages so I got sausages. It was a little salty and did ruin the experience a bit but still highly recommended for that early morning munching!

Best breakfast money can buy at 8am on your way to work. Puris, Dosa, Omelette, Coffee/Tea of your choice, Buttered Toast. And all for 80 bucks. What do you need more for breakfast?

From the name Breakfast and More, 'More' is the part of significant importance as the "Brownie with ice cream" is something that you dare not miss out....its the best desert in town and be it after a Pizza or Chinese or Indian dish, you must give it a try and not miss out on the opportunity......

The ambience and food at food villa is good. You get several options. Though I did not try many dishes from 'Breakfast and More' the brownie with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice-cream is a must have whenever I visit this place. Its yummilicious!!!

Food Vila always a nice place for hangout with fiends and family. We had ordered veg lasagne and deserts. it took a looong time , but wish it worth it. The lasagne is not even close to actual lasagne taste. full of corn . that's it. Got bored after eating some. they should improve the decoration of serving. not highly recommended but u can try once. Budget friendly. But don't try lasagne !!!

The most neglected counter at food court is Breakfast & More. However, the food they offer and the quality they maintain while serving the dishes makes you carve for more. Honestly, I'm quite impressed by this small counter. The menu is highly influenced by Italian cuisine and prices enlisted is quite affordable. Coming to food, I ordered a Chicken Cheese Sandwich. The service was quite prompt and the food was served in 10 mins. The Sandwich (2 pieces) was served along with complimentary fries. The bread was nicely toasted and stuffed with Chicken Chunks coated in Cheese. The sandwich was damn good and worth the money.

Last month, Breakfast & More has finally added a dedicated counter for thin-crust pizzas, named Red Pizza. So, along with the sandwich, I also decided to try the pizzas too. I ordered a chicken tikka pizza, which was served in 15 mins. The thin pizza base was covered with smokey chicken chunks, green peppers and a lot of melted cheese (Photos attached). Moreover, the pizza slices are quite big. Honestly, it's the best pizza out there in the food court.

So, if you're in food villa and you want to try Italian, go for Breakfast & More without any second thought. :)

4 stars for the innovative counter - RED PIZZA.

PS: Try the Red Pizza Counter at least once.

*Cheers*

Breakfast and more is the only food joint in guwahati that serves breakfast buffet at a low price of only 80 rs that too with a good number of options. It starts serving breakfast from 7:30 am. We went there for breakfast today. The buffet had puri, chole, dosa, sambar, omlette, toast, tea/coffee. The food items tasted preety good . You can have a heavy breakfast here at such a low price.
Definately a visit.

Whenever we go to food villa only quick pick and domino's gets the preference and breakfast and more is like neglected always. My sweet tooth always craves for the desserts and finally yesterday I tried out the chocolate cake with hot sauce and ice cream. The cake was good. Soft and fluffy. Ice-cream was good. Overall it was good and tasty.
Yesterday I also tried the chicken tikka pizza from the Red pizza store. In one word I will have to say "awesome ". It was crisp with even amount of mayo, cheese and chicken. I will recommend it for everyone. Also to the ones who don't prefer pizza much. You will get a new taste of pizza in Indian style.

I have visited this place only once and had ordered for Veg burger at Breakfast and More ...however it was too dry to swallow. Perhaps they should try adding a bit of mayo or cheese to make the burgers more succulent.

A nice place to visit if you wanna have delicious morning food. The service is also good. The hand tossed sausage dish is my favourite. Even the pastas and other dishes are all mouth watering. This place provides quality food at awesome rates. And it's not just about breakfast... It has much more to offer. Keep it up!

Good outlet and the food is upto the mark. The quality of food is good and the staff friendly. Perfect place for a Sunday brunch with friends.

One might say Breakfast and more may be not so popular counter in foodvilla but the kind of food they serve is probable better than other counter there. The Italian cuisine they serve is one of the finest u may eat ( keeping the price in mind).
# lasagna and pasta are their must try out items.
#Even the sandwich and burger are quite upto the mark.
#Their desert section is also quite a good one.
#Try their main course item (spl - Chicken Steak and Stroganoff)

And important mention about the pricing of items, i means the quality and quantity of food they provide within such an effortable price is simply remarkable. The service and the rate at which they prepare ones order is average.

PS- They have opened an another counter 'RED PIZZA', dealing in pizza only (both whole platter and only one slice). Pizza they prepare are thin crust, chessy (filled with chesse bust) and are sure delicious. Size is good enough for two people. (Dominos pizza in foodvilla watch out).

Excellent service, especially by the manager, Max Rodrigues. Above average food, some dishes were truly extra special. Great ambience and decor, with fantastic pricing...... Well done indeed :)

'Breakfast and more' is probably the most neglected part of foodvilla and although they have some superb stuff on the menu, people usually go for the safer options in the form of the indian/chinese food from quickpick or the domino's nearby.I was highly intrigued by this particular section and when i did finally decide to give them a chance i was pleasantly surprised. Not only did they manage to serve some of the weirder things on the menu but the service was fast and the food was pretty damn tasty.

The concept behind this section is basically 'continental food', and although i have had better pasta and stroganoff elsewhere, the prices here are pretty cheap and the taste is pretty good too. I have been there twice and here is what i have tried so far:

1) Chicken stroganoff with herb rice (Very tasty and perfect for a single person) : This is basically chicken stroganoff with mushrooms, corn and buttery herb rice cooked very well. The sauce of the chicken is creamy and tastes great.

2) Smoked Chicken salad : This is fresh and light and the chicken has a fantastic smoky flavour to it which I absolutely love. Probably my favorite dish from Breakfast and more.

3) Chicken cheese sandwich : Tastes like any other chicken sandwich from a decent joint. ** I didnt manage to click any pics for this and the bolognese pasta.

4) Bolognese pasta: I personally hate bolognese pasta and my dad was the one who ordered it, but he seemed to think it was ok.

5) Desert: Strawberry milkshake from the stand outside(Loved it) and a cake from domino's (it was ok)

All in all, the service is self service so not much to say about that, but it is fast. And the food tastes pretty good. The place is noisy since it is a food court but the interiors are very nice and the exteriors are even better. A lot of care and money has been taken to develop this project and in my opinion, we as guwahatian's should support the people from foodvilla by visiting and eating there whenever possible and whenever our wallet allows us to :)
