Best mithai shop in Guwahati

One of the well known places for sweet then. Has its outlet on R. G Baruah road as well as in Ganeshguri. Prices are ok. Almost same sorts of sweets are available and no new varieties.

The most famous sweet shop as we all kwn it gives you good quality of sweets and yes it is among the oldest sweet shop you can try their sweets atleast once

The only place in Guwahati with decent Dhoklas. I used to make it a point to buy the Dhoklas on a monthly basis but I haven't been able to do so in a long time. The rest of the sweets are quite bland and there are obviously better shops for sweets and confectioneries in Guwahati. The half-samosa is also pretty good but it is bound to give to stomach problems the next day (read: spicy!). <br/>I don't like the way they treat customers and if the Dhoklas weren't excellent I wouldn't have gone back to this shop. But alas the food is what really matters and I can honestly deal with the grumpy staff if it means that I'll have a satisfying Dhokla experience. 3 out of 5 STRICTLY for the Dhoklas. 1.5 for the rest of the items and 0 for the staff.
