Review Saatvik Restaurant - Guwahati

Dosa Pizza - Innovative concept but unreasonably overpriced. Garlic Bread tasted average. Pav bhaji fondu and Delhi Aloo Chat tasted good. Afagato was disappointing. The service was super slow and the place doesn't give out great vibes. There is a table tennis board but the staff couldn't help with the ball to play.

Food was delicious, ambience was also good. Just the service was too slow!!

Based on word of mouth, i had visited this place and just ordered a soup and this was so tasty and yummy. However i had to rush for some personal work and could not try your other delicacies, Will definitely visit you again!

I could not even consume it. The taste was horrible and the salt was missing and the packaging was really bad

I ordered Masala dosa,and the taste was quite good. I have not personally visited the place but I ordered it online and I had it for my breakfast. It was light, less spices but no compromise in taste. Happy tummy!

The interior was outstanding I loved the food mostly I am a non veg lover but this time I got a crush on veg food from this restaurant and especially the butter paneer it was excellent.

I ordered Paneer Butter Masala. By far the worst paneer butter masala i had tasted in my life. It was so pathetic that i felt like vomiting. The gravy was useless. God knows what was the chef upto but thanks for ruining my lunch!

Food Taste and Quality is very poor...after tasting the food, I straight a way through it to dustbin..Kulcha is not look like kulca and smelling as well.

The food was tasty as I order a Chinese combo ... veg fried with veg Manchurian..it tasted really good..the quantity was worth with the amount...must try it out...

Fancy bazaar has some good places that dish out veggie Delights and this for me is one of those. I love their aloo ki sabzi, their pulao, dosas and they used to make quite a kick-start lassi although that has gone a few notches down of late but overall I have fond memories of the place. This restaurant with its enchanting interiors has always been a goto place for me whenever I'm in that zone.

The malai kofta was nice. Can be better though. The bread basket was something I really liked. A very nice idea. And quantity is very good, one bread basket is more than enough for 2.

Really disappointed with the amount of food they are serving in a thali,that too priced at 370 and 270. But apart from that the food was tasty.

I personally didnt find the food from this place much tasty as compared to other vegetarian places . The dalmakhaani wasnt upto the mark . Pricing and quantity is good .

Have visited this place many a times by now. this place is catering the BEST veg food I've had in Guwahati. the staff here is polite and they don't make you wait for too long. The ambiance is nice here. When I visited satvik, I ordered paneer butter masala, Amritsari Paneer, Butter naan and gulabjamun. All the items were properly cooked and fresh. Would strongly recommend this place if you looking for a veg menu. :)

Being an assamese, I like non veg food. But here, if you have veg items, you will be more than satisfied. Had manchow soup followed by kebabs which had filling of aloo and kanju. For main course had masala kulcha, cheese garlic nun and butter nun along with paneer butter masala, Kadhai paneer and one veg curry which name I forgot. For desserts had Oreo ice cream roll. Very tasty food and price is good too. I will visit again.

Had been to saatvik during my lunch hour as it is close to my office. I ordered the dal makhani and masala kulcha combo and it was very tasty and pocket friendly, the staff were kind and very responsive. I would love to visit again.

The location of the place is a key and the food is also good. A must try for all those veg lovers. It serves fast foods too , so one can have quick bite here.

Only vegetarian dishes no non Veg dishes are available. Should add non veg items too. Their food is not good and asking too much for it. Service is also not that good.

Superb food. Fast service. Beautiful ambience. Saatvik Shubh Aarambh Platter serves so many starters together. The dal makhani and masala kulcha combo is also very tasty and economical. I’ll visit again soon.

This is my favorite restaurant in Guwahati, the food here is amazing, specially the stuffed tandoori aloo, the service is also good. Can't get enough of the food here.

Its a small place, and is overrated. The workers are rude and dont pay heed to your demands properly. Service is bad and too slow. A very bad experience overall.

The food here is decent enough. North Indian is quite good in fact. Prompt service and even better if you want to throw a little party for your family.<br/><br/>Most people like it because it's one of those pure vegetarian restaurants and they do serve Rolled Ice creams.

Nothing special and everything was so mediocre. Forget about Ambience and stuff they don't know anything about that. The only nice thing is the view of Brahmaputra river you sit in the front row but the noise of vehicles ruins it. Talking about the food, it was tasteless and was probably stale. So we left without finishing.

Overall good service and food is average..... It is located near fancy bazaar so you can have lunch after shopping.........The place is good.... Gonna visit soon again....

Very poor service. For normal veg fried rice they took more then half an hour. Hotel ambience is good but food taste is not good. Not satisfied with the food served. They charge high. For curd rice they are charging 110rs, That too not available at that time.<br/>

No change in taste of any dish ...no capsicum in kadhai paneer...mix veg contained potato and beens only...no generator facility if current goes<br/>

Well, this place was much more than I expected. I never felt that vegetarian food could be so tasty and finger licking before visiting this place. 😊I visited this place with my friends (one of them treated us).<br/><br/>Ambience: beautiful with lights all around, and a subtle environment.<br/>Food: Though I dont remember the names of all the dishes (visited a year back), but all I remember is that I have never had such tasty vegetarian food before. FOund this place while roaming in and around fancy.its a good place , the staff are helpful as well. I liked the panner butter masala along with rice and my Friend had maggie. Would visit again if the price slashes a bit.

I went to the place alongwith with my parents... The service quality standards have detoriated over the years... Also the quality of food is not upto the mark... That's the primary reason for lower footfalls nowadays over this restaurant...

Today i've visited this place for the 1st time...and guys believe me you dont wanna visit this place if you are in search of some good food....the food was worst...the maintenance of the restrau is pathetic...they have got air conditioner but they wont provide you the facility...service is good though..so if you dont wanna have a bad experience then i suggest you not to visit this place

The ambience of this restaurant is okay, I didn't find that attractive. What got my interest was ice cream rolls and I wanted to try them. So ordered Ferrero Rocher and Blueberry berry berry ice cream rolls. I even ordered one plate cheese pakora.<br/><br/>Ferrero Rocher was disappointment but Blueberry berry berry was better. Now the cheese pakora was not satisfactory but it was okay. I was hoping of melting cheese but nope, there was no sign of melting cheese.<br/>The prices are reasonable.<br/>The staff behavior was pretty nice but I didn't like one of the staff who took the orders because he interrupted my conversation many times with my mom. Well, I won't say that his behavior was very bad but it was impolite. You can wait for the conversation to get over and then say "can I suggest you something?". Overall, it was okay.<br/><br/>P.S. Please fix your washroom. From door knob to tap to hand shower, they are broken.<br/>P.S.S. Sorry I just took only one photo. I was really disappointed after having the Ferrero Rocher ice cream roll.

A good vegetarian outlet...Nice ambience too<br/>Service is good ....Food is also good, specially their thalis, they have 3-4 varieties of thalis. The only con is ,I found the food a bit oily or else it's a good one.

This place has a great ambience. Apart from that nothing is at par. Food there is below average. The staff there is also not professional.Very Disappointing.

We had Vegetable and Chesse Maggi,Alu paratha and coffee. No doubt about the taste of the food. But the maggi was bit over rated. The service was pathetic. We have to wave and call the waiter and then they simply ignore us. I would rate 0 out of 10 for the service. We sat almost for 2 hours to get 2 plates of maggi and alu paratha.

Nither the ambience nor the management was good. The seats are too much uncomfortable and it was one of my worst experience at saatvik. I'd ordered a few snacks but none of them was good to taste.<br/><br/>So, starting with the 'chinese bhel' which was full of sauce and they served us cold food.<br/><br/>Then they served us 'chilli potato' which was a bit good but it was not well prepared and was full of sauce and it wasn't properly fried but they served us at a good quantity.<br/><br/>Now coming to the 'chocolate shake' which was the worst thing in the whole order. They'd just mixed up milk with chocolate sauce which was tasteless.<br/><br/>

The best and reasonably priced food service in the area with beautiful ambience. Try Saatvik special stuff tandoori aloo, it's great taste is mesmerising and leaves you in awe.

Went once almost 2 year before. Restaurant is good. Liked crispy chilly baby corn. Bad thing is service and bad crockery which seems like roadside dhaba material .

I don't know if I visited it on a bad day or their head chef was on leave but I had the worst experience in this place. First of all there was no hospitality, as we went inside there was this foul smell for which we asked for freshener and bad day as it was, even freshener wasn't available.Coming to the food, french fries were a disaster , nun wasn't available, mocktail wasn't available, basically whatever we wanted to have wasn't available that moment. We settled for butter roti and paneer. Paneer was even worse, it was a pond of water with some capsicum pieces and a few chillies​. The only thing I liked was the interior, beautifully decorated and spacious also located in a very good place !!

Saathvik is good happy place to be in with family. I have visited it several times and even my experience was sAtisfactory. Its is spacious even has place to book for parties. Never disappointed me yet.

I will start my review with saying that the Restaurant has a good location since it is in Fancy Bazar which is the Trade hub in Guwahati. The ambience is well done up and the premises clean and comfortable.<br/>The place serves fully vegetarian meals and there are a variety of items to choose from. The prices too are reasonable. When it comes to the food though my opinion is that they could do better. We had Dal Makhani and a Paneer sabzi with Naan and Rice. The naan was cold and hence hard to break. The Dal and Paneer were okayish and nothing extraordinary. The crew is okay too but not friendly. The Masala cold drink had masala out of the glass which is not acceptable for a place that looks that good. Overall a 3.5 !

Been to this place a few days back. And wow!! Never thought this kind of a restaurant cropping up and doing great in Guwahati. Yes, it's a bit on the expensive side, but the price is complemented with heavy meals with great tastes.

It's a pure veg restaurant, located at fancy bazaar river front area. The restaurant is very spacious, in fact it has 2 huge private cabins for booking or parties. The interiors are okay, it can be a bit brighter, the lights are very dim. The staffs were very friendly and welcoming. The food was tasty, we were 2 people and wanted to order thali for lunch, We ordered the shahi thali which consists of a veg pulao, one butter naan, one tandoori roti, one amritsari paneer, one aaloo curry, one dal fry, one sweet and salads. It was very good, and quite heavy. Overall we liked the experience. The real problem is parking, they do not have their own parking space, and we all know fancy bazaar lacks parking space, so that was a bit problem, otherwise this place is good.

This place didn't let me feel that I am non-veg. They have a variety of veg items to offer and wouldn't let u down with your expectations. Very quick service along with good ambiance and cooperative waiters. Recommended.

A pure vegetarian restaurant. I had been here twice. The second experience was worst. We ordered food, waited for an hour. Called the waiter and he was sorry because he probably had lost our order so had to order again. As a non veg lover, I do not prefer this place but for a vegetarian this place is too good. I tried their butter naan and paneer and a lot of items I don't remember. The only thing I remember is that the quantity is less. Not satisfied. However the tastes are average.

Went here recently after some people from college gave good reviews about it. Seemed like an ok place. North Indian food is good.<br/>Tomato Soup and Missi Roti were just ok. Amritsari Paneer was great and Fulkas were just awesome. Do try North Indian food here.<br/>The location is a great plus point. Considering the fact that we visited this place in late afternoon when there was practically no rush, the service was quite fast. Ambience was ok. Nothing great about it. One thing I liked about this place was affordable noth Indian veg food. One of the few restaurants in the city who offer this.

Have visited this place only once. And I swear never to visit it again. Location is good. Ambience is average. Interiors are fine. Food is just horrible. Ordered for masala dosa..the aloo inside it was sooo oily and very very spicy. Morever the dosa was burnt. The idlis were also stale. Morever when we visited there were many many many insects so they sprayed something and the smell was so disgusting and suffocating. Imagine having disgusting food in such a disgusting ambience. Worst experience ever.

Ordered home delivery today.. The food was disgusting.. Tandoori roti all burned up!! Yikes! When I informed them about the quality of the food .. They asked me.. To compromise for today.. N have the burned rotis. I guess they r used to having burned rotis.. So they consider that for their customers too. Never ..ever ! Will I order again. Very poor, pathetic ,cheap quality , yuck food. If u wanna waste ur hard earned money then do giv their food a try! <br/>
