A very pleasant staff serves you with the most delicious vegetarian food in North Indian style. It's a must try for vegetarian people. Veg Saute is a personal favourite. Complimentary welcome drink and fryums are also much appreciated 👍👍

Most probably the best pure vegetarian restaurant in Guwahati.Located in a very crowded area of Fancy bazar,locality does not seem great but the restaurant's ambience is excellent.It has received many awards for the same.The waiters are well trained,the food is awesome,even the chinese food is better than many restaurants especialising in chinese.The restaurant is located on 1st floor.One important thing to remember is that they do not serve Indian food after 15:30.After 15:30 till evening 19:00,one may only order chinese here.After 19:00hrs,everything is again available for order.Tou get complimentary snacks and a jaljeera welcome drink here.Approximate cost per person is around 450 which is meagre as compared to same with Havelli restaurant.Strongly recommended for every vegetarian.

One of the best (actually the best ) vegetarian restaurant in Guwahati. Its quite underrated but their food is just delicious. Came driving for 3 hours just to eat here.

When I visited this place, I didn't know that its a vegetarian restaurant. But I was blown away by the taste of the foods that I had ordered, atmosphere inside the restaurant was really comforting, attendants were very nice and gentle, this restaurant also offer takeout of leftover food.

Visited this restaurant today afternoon around 3.45 pm. Everything is absolutely perfect except location of the restaurant. Fast service, excellent food quality, good suggestions on food items to be ordered. In short, total value for money. Ordered starters, main course and when food bill came, we didn’t except such a low bill value as compared to other similar restaurants.

I am non-veg & I rarely vist veg restaurants. But the food in this restaurant is so delicious and of so good quality that I didn't miss my fav chicken leg piece.😅 Don't want to overwrite just wanna say really good resturant in respect to food, ambient, staff behaviour.. everything.

Service won my heart. Great staff! The atmosphere seemed hygienic and ambience was nice. The restaurant is being renovated. So, I'm expecting something even better. Coming to the main point, FOOD...sweet corn soup was fine but manchow soup was spicy beyond words. I love spice but couldn't finish even half of it. Hakka noodles and paneer tikka were fine. Manchurian tasted different from other restaurants/cafes so I didn't like it (personal choice). Paneer butter masala was really sweet (as if you have put more tomato ketchup in it). I liked it though others didn't. Tandoori and naan were good, even when cold. Worth mentioning was their complimentary welcome drink (jaljeera pani) and fryums in the beginning😁😁

Amazing food 👌👌👌 Pure veg restaurant. Bar inside the restaurant. Puzzles are kept on the tables as time killer. Complimentary Jaleera drink(s) (as per person) & fried chips with green chutney are served (quantity of chips have decreased). Banarasi aloo dum is not in the menu but they made it on our request & that is simply mind-blowing, they must have it in their menu.

After quite a tiring day, I and my friends decided to drop at this place for a hefty lunch. Realizing it to be a veg restaurant we were intially a little let down. Though we then ordered the best dishes on the menu, namely, paneer lahori, malai kofta and paneer tikka masala along with butter naan.<br/><br/>The moment our food arrived, it's very look and aroma made us crave for it. Just taking our first bites, we fell in total love with food. The taste was splendid, the spices blending perfectly with curry at right proportions. The malai kofta was soft and creamy and not too sweet. The butter naan was the cherry on the cake being fluffy, buttery and soft.<br/><br/>Moreover, the ambience, decorations and the service of the restaurant was very pleasing. Overall we were extremely satisfied. Hope to visit again.

Been here recently. The location and the restaurant are contradictory. The location is not so good, though close to the river brahmaputra. The restaurant ambiance is nice and the food is excellent. The crowd is usually of young married couples and families. One of the best places in the city to try Indian Food! Go there and have a good time 🤭

Visited Shaahi Darbar for the first time. And I didn't regretted. Starting from ambience to taking orders & serving food & paying the bill, I didn't got a chance to complain. The food was hot, yummy & delicious. The waiter was good & he provided good service. The hostility was perfect & I can't wait to visit here again.

The service was good.<br/><br/>But, the food was not up to the mark. We ordered karai paneer , aloo dum and mix jhal freizy and the gravy of all three tasted the same and it was very blackish. It appeared as if the same gravy was used to serve any type of sabzi ordered, which is the last thing that a customer expects.<br/><br/>Also the masala kulcha we ordered was served cold.<br/>Not only this, an ant was running on the kulcha which was served.<br/><br/>Would not recommend anyone to go there.<br/>

Wow..! What an experience being there. Never thought I will get such an amazing experience and quality offload in mid od now where. We were just looking for some restaurant near the bharmaputra river as it was time for our late afternoon cruise. Zomato helped us to reach to this place nearby and we just loved being there. They offered us a welcome drink which was Jaljira, perfect start to counter the heat. We then ordered a fruit punch, Paneer Taka tak, Dal Tadka, Jeera Rice, Butter Naan and Lachcha paratha. Paneer was very soft and melt in the mouth, the gravy was perfectly made and we could get the taste of spices perfectly cooked in the gravy. Both the butter Naan as well as Lachcha Paratha was very very soft. Naan was just a bit sweet May be because of the yeast but was perfect with the Paneer which was medium spicy. Dal Tadka was as perfect as home made Dal. It gave you that feeling that you get in ‘Maa k haath ki bani Dal’. Jeera rice was good too. Overall the quantity was sufficient to suffice for 2 people. Service and staff behaviour was no less and the manager himself came twice to ask about the quality of food and service. An amazing experience and would always visit the place whenever I am in Guwahati..!

Shahi darbar the name itself represent shahi style. Going there first we were given snacks and chilled cold jaljera juice as complimentary. We ordered there fried rice, malai kofta and kadai paneer. The food was very good. Ambience was also good. The best thing about this restaurant is its hospitality. The working staffs are well trained and well behaved. Cleanliness is at top. After we have finished our food, one kind gentleman (may be the manager or owner of the restro) came to us and asked about the feedback for the food. It was a sweet gesture for the customers.

Nice place, Very calm, Excellent ambiance. I went there to celebrate my birthday, and hence I was expecting a lot from this place and they came up really nice to it. The staff was very good, service was quick enough. About food, we ordered Paneer tikka and tandoori aloo for starters I personally didn't like tandoori aloo but my friends liked it, whereas Paneer tikka was very tasty. I forgot what we ordered for main course but it was very tasty, that's for sure.<br/>PS: They offer fryums to munch till order gets prepared. Which keeps you busy and you don't have to look at every other order that comes out of kitchen. :P

For a vegetarian restaurant, this place is one of the best for sure! I got the food home delivered once and the other time I went for dinner, and both of these occasions have not been disappointing. The prices are affordable, the serving portions are appreciable, the service was quick, hospitality was warm and taste was great too! Of course they could use a little imagination to update their menu. You should try the Indian cuisine out there-it's really amazing. It's a place you can go to if you don't mind having a good vegetarian meal once a while without burning holes in your pockets! Cheers!

The food was tasty but the naan was so tight that it destroyed the whole taste. It might be because i asked it to get it delivered and by the time it reached, it got cold and tight.

A restaurant to be must visited by vegetarians. The ambiance is average as the lighting can be improved though the interior designing makes it a royal place. I tried a few dishes like the Chilly Crispy potato as starter which was yummy. One who likes spicy food can have the kadhai paneer with garlic naan which is better than butter naan but I didn't liked the Rajwani kofta as it was neither sweet nor tangy,it was plain with dry fruits which just balanced a bit to have with jeera rice or veg pulao but not with plain rice. I expected the Kofta to be unique as from the name but it wasn't upto the mark. They provide a complementary drink and starter if one is a member of the restaurant then he or she may get a free starter from the menu. Although the food was average and it was not worthy of money but the hospitality from the staffs were awesome and the majic show by Magician Torque made our evening special. It is a good restaurant for family dinner.

The ambience is really good...sober.... the staffs are well groomed and really helpful and well mannered. You always get complimentary papar and jaljeera juice whenever you are here. One can try on their schezwan baby corn, for starters. I was little disappointed with their main course. We ordered for paneer takatak and tandoori aloo masala which didnt satisfy our taste buds. Both the curry tasted same. One can definitely taste their veg pulao and biryani for main course, it was good. <br/>Pricing here is fine. 1000 for 4 ppl is enough for a super full meal.

The place is beautiful..and we served with papad and jaljeera juice which was surprisingly free. We ordered only babycorn (rs 155) as we didn't know that it was a veg restaurant. A decent outlet in the busy area of fancy bazar.... Service is good and nice ambience too...<br/>Coming to the food, had peshwari sheek kebab, butter naan,veg pulao,rajasthani aloo,one more item of paneer....Food was very heavy,too much of masala and a bit tangy too.... The restaurant claims to be fine dining but all they seem to be doing is adding oil and ghee to the food. A lot of Indian vegetarian food can be made delicious with pure flavours and good ingredients rather than fat....

A very decent place. A friend of mine and me happened to suddenly visit this place one day while we were roaming in fancy. There are plenty of items to choose from and the ones we choosed didn't let us down. Hospitality was satisfactory too.

Of late I do end up in an all veg restaurant for various reasons. Shahi Darbar is one of the very few restaurant which does not let me regret. Lip smacking food. I tried the paneer kofta in palak gravy and tawa vegetables and both were amazing. The breads were awesome too. Esp pudina lacha Paratha. Ambience was ok. Service was top notch. Staff super courteous. And lastly thank God their papad n onion bhurji was not the highlight of the dinner like Gopal maharaj's

Awsm ambience..really superb serving ..the starters and tandoors are must try specially the Chinese bhel ...loved it ..the kulch was so soft and delicious that I could not resist myself also the dal tadka was mouth watering ..the mocktails r also very gud specially the virgin island!! It's all a vegetarian affair and the food is good. Little expensive on the drinks menu though. But the ambience is pretty good. One can even have a private party in the bar as it's little separated.

Well as my rating suggests, i am all praises about this restaurant. For one it doesn't create a hole in your pocket, been their on couple of times and has been a great experience on both occassions. The staff is very courteous and neat, the dishes the way you like it, ambience great once you are inside (location being slightly off market), plus it has bar if you feel like grabbing a drink with your veggies.

Amazing food with classy ambience. The lalla mussa daal is a must try! The vegetarians should definitely visit here. A special mention of the hot gulab jamun too.
