Good food at good price, nice ambience! You can play pool also.. The food is great too at a reasonable price too! We ordered a lot of items.. Chicken Burger, Sandwich, Pasta, Noodles, Chicken Lolipop, Pizza and refreshing drinks too oreo shake, milkshake and fresh lime soda..!

Randomly searching for a Cafe, found the board of Old Skool. It has sporty interiors and billiards to play. We ordered cheesy fries and oreo shake. Both were good! The place has both indoor and balcony seating.

This place has it all. Such a chic cozy hip place in the midst of Guwahati. The view is fantastic, decor and the vibe of the place is to die for. The people serving us are super happy and serve you with all their heart. Overall a must visit place for a lovely evening. Not to forget, 5 stars for the the uber chic swing chairs hanging in the balcony.

Yesterday I visited the place with my friends.. The place is small but with beautiful thoughts ❤ Unique design..balcony view is awesome ❤ We ordered Drumstick, Devil Pizza, Mountain Mojito Mocktails, Mountain Gravy Noodles and Burger with the Leaf... Drumstick was awesome ❤ Devil Pizza was okay but the crust is little heavy Mojito was great🙂 Noodles was Tasteless Burger was ok.. Overall food was Okay type...need to do more perfect...

Old Skool, Billiards and Bistro is pretty near Ugra Tara Temple. The Chinese cuisine attracts people searching for a new experience. Have nicely cooked spaghetti, lasagna and chicken maryland at Old Skool, Billiards and Bistro when you happen to be near it. Chocolate shake and lemonade are two good items at this place. This spot is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Prices are found bit high here. I had a very bad experience with chicken drumstick here,it was more like a besan stick. You will definitely like the enjoyable ambiance and nice decor.

Cool place for groups and couples. 5 stars for the ambience. The menu has a very limited options. This is more like a sip and snack. Not for people looking for a proper meal.

I visited this much talked about place in town last year with two of my friends. It is located just opposite to Assam Textile Institute. This cafe is not that big. You can play their billiards as well.The food is amazing here. I ordered Chicken Ala King Pasta, Devil Pizza, Moses fried rice, Mango Shake, Strawberry shake and chocolate shake. The taste was amazing. The price is reasonable. The mango shake and the chocolate shake was really very good in taste. Nice place to click pictures. It has outdoor sitting arrangements as well. **READ THIS BEFORE VISITING THE PLACE**<br/><br/>After seeing the washroom and the kitchen. You will feel like leaving the place straight away. We waited for about 1 hour to get the food plus when asked about payment by card, they didn't have the swiping machine, they didn't have half of the stuffs mentioned in the menu. #interesting : We asked for some beverages and some snacks, firstly they served the beverage and the starters after serving the main course. I mean how stupid can you be when you know that you are operating a cafe/restaurant. I saw many people leaving as the staff were taking very late to serve the orders. There was no proper management and hygiene in the premises, it's just a show piece. These kind of places should be shut down immediately.<br/><br/>People please don't get tempted by the ambience and the pool table to pay a visit here.

I went to Old Skool with my friend in order to explore their food and the place. As we were hungry so we ordered mozzarella sticks, lasagna and Old Skool burger. The very slow service moreover the lasagna was half cooked. We did complain about it but the waiter didnt responded to the problem. Then the burger was taking too much time so finally we decided to pack the burger and leave. A good place if you want to take pictures but not a best place to hangout with friends because the quality of food and service is worst. The pool will also cost you Rs.80.

The ambience is pretty impressive in such a small space, love the vibe. I love the balcony surrounded with fairylights. The place is good to chill. I also loved the food, the chilly garlic noodle was so good that i feel like having it again.<br/>

Me an my friends decided to catch up and our first choice was Table talks but since it was house full, we choose Old Skool, its located on the third floor n boy it was a climb. Interior was good and they have outdoor sitting arrangement too. Sitting arrangement however was not comfy enough, if u sit towards the side with no back rest. Neways, we ordered mixed smoothie, laate, lemonade and once coconut cucumber mocktail and as appetizers nachos n honey fire fries or something, food was quite good. Service however needs to be improved way lot. We had to constantly ask for plates and cutlerys which was annoying. For main course we ordered spaghetti with meat balls n it was good too. Value for money I would say. A visit wont be regretted.

Worst noodles I have ever tasted in my whole life. Ordered one non-veg gravy noodles but what I have received is only water boiled plain noodles with a few pieces of chicken and boil vegetables. No salt, no taste, that too noodles are over boiled. They didn’t even feel like giving a fork or a spoon with the order. Do they expect me to eat noodles with my hands? Pathetic is an understatement here. Period.

I wish I could be polite enough for prasing the misbehavior of the hotel management with their customers. This restro is just not a palace for tourists to visit. Here people are self acclaimed best restro...good for nothing. I wish they stop giving 5 star ratings from random fake accounts and truly reflect the actual rating of this restro ..whicch is exactly what I have given.

The ambience was good . I liked the strawberry smoothie n cappuccino but the pizza was not up to the taste which I thought it would be but ok overall a good experience I ‘ll visit to try some another items

We went there on 12th of August, at first there was no electricity, but that's nothing compared to their lazy service.... The waiters would serve us food without any plates or spoons/forks. Being disappointed by their service we cancelled half of our order and moved out... Never going back.. but on the hindsight the ambience was very cosy and nice... That's the only good thing I can say about that place...<br/>Peace.

Disgusting place, worst lasagna you can ever expect, food takes around one hour after you order, extremely untidy, ac doesn't even work, they use stand fan 😂😂, yes you heard it right, they claim to have a billiards table, which by the way you won't know chargeable unless you opt to play it, after you play you'll be informed that you need to pay, and funny thing is there won't be any bill for that, waiters were busy playing pool themselves instead taking your order, ( yeah you heard that right) . Overall , a big no for the place, was so disgusted, unfortunately the minimum rating i can give is 1 star, actually they don't deserve any rating.

Disgusting place, I'll say a big no, firstly the food takes so much time to come , and it was never mentioned that the pool was chargeable and then all of a sudden they came claiming money for that, extremely poor management, not clean , the waiters were busy playing pool themselves, yes you heared it right. I was from a different city went to visit guwahati, thought of visiting the place because of game, majorly disappointed. Below is a picture of grasshopper that was found there.

We ordered a margherita pizza and a chicken crispy sandwich. We were waiting for our order which was placed in 4.30 and we recieved it in 5.27 approximately 1hour late. And they later charged us extra telling that they served mix meat pizza. This cafe is really very bad and they take extra tax and poor service. I tell everyone not to visit this place at all

Food is okay if not great. Ambience is very pretty. But d only thing we didn't like is the slow service. We waited nearly an hour for d four mojitos to arrive altogether. You need to have a lot of energy visiting this cafe bistro.... Its in 3rd floor and there's no lift only staircase ....and I must say we can place our order then go get all our works done but still our order won't be ready .... Sorry staffs but that's a fact .... The order takes too long... And when i say too long, I really mean it... But the ambience is really pretty and very attractive but (here I go again) need an improvement in washroom.... Better visit a washroom only after you're done with your food guys... Im so sorry but im being very honest ....well coming to the food I tried their egg fried rice which was good and chicken lollipop also tastes great .... Not forgetting the chicken maryland which was very tasty served along with fries and with brown sauce it was very cheesy and tasty.... I must visit this place again to grab chicken maryland but thinking about waiting for the order makes me sick... Overall experience was good... Wandered in with one of my friends and were immediately greeted with the staff out there. The food was delicious and the playlist was nice as well. The penne pasta with mixed sauce is amazing with a load of mouthwatering flavours. Worth a visit if you haven't yet.

Outdoor ambience was lit 🔥<br/>But when it comes to food it was a total disaster except the chocolate shake. And the service wasn't professional either. Might visit this place sometime only for the outdoor ambience but never to enjoy good food.

It takes you a tedious amount of time to spot this place and twice the amount to climb the stairs. Just when you thought that you're finally going to have a great view of the city and that the climb was worth it, you are greeted by a very basic view of the Ambari Road. The ambience inside is nice. One thing worth mentioning is the staff, they are very courteous, friendly and polite. Food is average. I had chicken lasagna and drumsticks. While the drumsticks were fine, the lasagna was extremely desiccated.

I went there with my friends in the evening and it was such a beautiful place. Looking forward to visit it once again and try some other items. I had meatballs spaghetti and drumsticks. The food was good but the ambience and the environment was more overwhelming. I really want to try some more items there so I will give an update soon when I will visit again.

The food was average, and not that much upto the mark. It lacked certain flavours which was making it taste little different.<br/>Quantity served is good.<br/>The service is good too and the staff is well behaved.

My exact rating would be a 4.2 to be precise.<br/><br/>It's an average sized outlet with an awesome interior; not to forget the swings seaters in the balcony. Plus you can play pool too.<br/><br/>Coming to the food, we ordered Non-veg Mongolian Dry Noodles, Mix Sauce Pasta(veg) & Drums of Heaven.<br/>The drums of heaven were unavailable so we went for the Crispy Mushroom & we really didn't regret it. It was juicy, perfectly spiced & crispy.<br/>The mix sauce pasta is quite a rich & heavy one. I personally loved the Mongolian dry noodles more.<br/><br/>The only drawback is the time they take to serve which is really too long & must be improved. Another important thing is that, we got our starters served after the main course, which is a point the servers need to be trained about.<br/><br/>Do visit.

The food and ambience of this cafe is quite good. You can click beautiful pictures while you are at this cafe. The smoking area is quite airy and cozy which makes it great for the perfect "chai sutta" experience. The only problem is they are very short staffed.

I have visited the 'old skool - billiards an bistro' for the first time today. It was a great experience. We have ordered, CHICKEN LOLLIPOP, DEVIL PIZZA, CHICKEN LASAGNA and COKE.<br/>Tastewise the LOLLIPOP was nice,tendered nd the garlic tomato sauce was also nice. But the size was very small with respect to their price.<br/>The PIZZA was so-so. It could be better in taste and in size also. The cheese,which was on the pizza,was not melted properly. But the chicken sausage pieces were really tasty.<br/>The LASAGNA was also good. Stuffing was tendered . But the sheets were not well cooked.but the taste was good.<br/>Overall,the ambience is quite nice,it has billiards to play,which cost extra. But it is affordable. The stuff was no nice. Their service was so good. The taste was also nice but it should improve at some points.<br/>

This cosy little place has a beautiful ambience. Serves good food. Was there with a friend and ordered a cup of coffee along with cheese garlic bread and customised chicken penne pasta. The quantity and the quality both were good. I loved the corner where they had managed to make a book shelf and kept a few selfie props so that the customers can enjoy clicking pictures too. They had a pool table(unfortunately I don't know how to play pool, so skipped). This was my first time to old skool bistro and definitely not the last<br/>😊

Place has a confused ambience. Can’t seem to understand the personality it wants to have. Got bournvita for hot chocolate. Seemingly simple French fries took a good 40 mins to serve.

I honestly liked this place......the food price are really reasonable except the fact that the service was not upto the mark and talking about the ambience, it was also quite great like a sports bar including the interior design.....and there is also outdoor seating arrangement .....good for couples and hangout.

I absolutely loved this place. I and my friends ordered Chickem Lasagne, Penne Pasta in Red Sauce (non veg), Vietnamese Fried Rice, Coffee, Meat balls spaghetti. Everything was good except the Cheese balls and French fries as the cheese balls were too dry and the inside layer wasn't satisfying much and fries were too soggy and uncooked. I would give 3.5 actually and mainly for the atmosphere. The ambience and the decor is impressive considering the small space, which is well utilised. Now for the food and beverages, it's quite average. We ordered for a pizza ( all their pizza sizes are small) Chicken lollipop, and Mongolian chicken noodles. The Devil's pizza was average and not that impressive so are their shakes and mocktails. We were a group of five so we had variety of beverages. I had a cappuccino and I found a hair in it...Eww.<br/>Now for the services, not impressive. The staff requires tad more training as they lack basic service skills like serving a dish. Overall there were some hits and misses. Would I visit again? Yes probably, just for the ambience.

I must say it really have a good interior, you can have a great time with friends. Lighting is really impressive! Loved it. <br/>Coming to the food, I found it good but ya slightly they can improve to make it more delicious. Chicken main course needed to work on. <br/>And overall it’s good.

What I really loved about this 🍵 Cafe is it's Interior and the seperate smoking zone, which has a striking view 😍 from it's third floor.... ✨<br/>I would rate them, 5🌟 in Ambience, 4🌟 for service, 3🌟 for Food (Cause they need to improve their noodles), 5🌟 for Price (cause it's affordable as compared to other cafe's) ... Most importantly i liked the Gesture of the 💕Head Chef, when he came by himself and asked if he could get something else instead of Drumsticks, which was not available...He made us something with chicken and bell peppers , which was not in the menu... And trust me it was damn TASTY 👅!!

olthough the place is bit small but the place have an amazing ambiance great music and interior decore ...services are quite gud . I went thr for two times and the chicken Lasania that i tried was fav i would say best in there menu ...

Loved the interiors. We tried chicken pizza and soft drinks. The pizza was good. Service could have been improved. Value for money is good. Overall,a big thumbs up👍

Caramel latte was good, ordered old skool burger and ham cock sandwich. Sandwich was good and burger could have been better. Ordered teriyaki chicken with great hope to taste the japanese twist but was totally disappointed. Service is good, beautiful cozy ambience.

Nice ambience! Staff is also friendly. Food tastes good. And prices are good too, reasonable. We had chicken drumsticks, chicken lasagna,hot chocolate and cold coffee. Was good! So would like to visit again. <br/>:)

Never been to any other awesome cafe in Guwahati very welcoming, warm vibes, awesome ambient and Good food. I really enjoyed the lasagne with its Great Interior, the place is really Bright with the interior and setup with the pool table. The value for the food was really worth. I would surely recommend everyone to visit Old Skool to enjoy the food, place and a game of pool. Glad to see a good cafe in Guwahati.

I loved the interior as soon as when me and my friends were stepping inside,they have outdoor sitting capacity of three tables and also more sitting area inside they also have pool in game section now lets come to food which was over the top with such affordable price we ordered margerita pizza,veg mix sauce pasta,and garlic cheese bread i so loved the pasta that me and my friend are giving a tought to visit again..their service was okay ..wont say prompt irrespective of the crowd their service was good but for food and interior its 5 star..

Located at the heart of this city, this place is designed to meet the needs of the youth. A very unique touch has been done to the interiors. I have visited this place twice and both of the times they were successfully able to deliver awesomeness. Food is promptly priced. The menu basically serves usual cafe items. The chicken drumsticks and mixed sauce pasta can be recommended.

The place is good for hangout with friends. The price is also reasonable and had nice experience. The pasta was well balanced with sauce and can be looked forward to. Overall a thumbs up for the place.

I’m highly disappointed. I’ll be very honest that if you want only some good pictures then you can go for this restro otherwise if you’re a foodie like me and who wants to eat good food please I beg you don’t go here. First off all when went there and ordered something from the main course they said they don’t have any main course today , I was like dude are kidding? Then I had no option then ordered this old skool burger and you know what those road side stall’s burgers are much much much much much better than this. And then I’v ordered some chicken drumsticks and those were the worst drumsticks I’ve ever tried. Then 2ndly they don’t know how to serve things I have ordered a ice cream with brownie that bowl was so small that ice cream was falling down! And if you still want to go there go and experience this by your own.

This is a lovely place. Beautifully decorated cafe. Limited menu but the foods were yummy.<br/>Ordered cafe Mocha, chicken drumsticks, Mongolian dry noodles, chicken lasagna, and a Bourbon twister.<br/><br/>Loved the Mocha..noodles were good too. And the lasagna was tooo yummy..it was so creamy, base was crunchy and the stuffing was really nice.. Lasagna here is a must try.<br/>However, the Bourbon twister was not that great, it could have been better.<br/><br/>And to my disappointment, none of the desserts were available 😑 and also the chicken drumsticks were not that good. The meat content was too less.<br/>However it was a great experience 😋<br/>

This place has quite a nice ambience.. It's got good light as well for clicking pictures and the staff is really polite.. I ordered chicken lasagna, chicken drumsticks and Mongolian chicken noodles.<br/>The drumsticks was okay but the quantity seemed a little less for 150 bucks. The noodles were good but it has potential for improvement.. I loved the chicken lasagna.. It was really cheesy and the price is awesome for the quantity..

I enjoyed this place so much! The food here is average. Some stuff are good, some are fine. Their pasta is good and heavy. Their coffee is delicious. The cheese balls, brownies and chilli chicken are very dull. The pizza and Fried Rice is so-so. They take approximately 30mins to serve you. Prices are quite fine.
