Great food and service- the Guwahati location has better food than the Danville, California location. Great for team outings. Great options for appetizers, main course and cocktails or beers.

Its a good family restaurent. Ambience is good and service is top quality. Food quality is good too...
Nirmalendu Barman
This place is quite beautifully designed. It has small chamber like structure, one chamber contains more than 8 chairs and a large table which is completely comfortable for a joint family. I was there with my friends; we ate, we laughed. This place is good for a reunion party or dinner. Price is a bit High as compared to other restaurants, but the vibe was awesome!

Ambience was nice, staffs were professional and kind. Although it was my first experience here I didn't liked the food as much as I have heard. Food was mutton curry and plain rice.

Location: 4th floor , Hub Mall, Bangagarh, GS Road, Guwahati Alcohol 🍸 served : Yes Ambience: Posh Ambience with lovely and comfortable seating arrangement. Stewards in uniform attend to customers very cordially. It wasn't crowded at all. Food: Chinese, North Indian and Oriental cuisine served here with some signature dishes, like you can try Sham Savera ( a paneer dish ). Serving time : 20 minutes I tried Paneer Tikka Lababdar with Butter Naan. It was freshly prepared and tasted delicious. Also, roasted papad along with green chutney was served as a complimentary starter. Overall it was a lovely experience and I visit here often when I crave for some good food.

Delicious food, the quality of the food was so good.. a expensive place but worth each penny.. and their service was outstanding... Go for it without a second thought.

This place has been my all time favourite. The ambience, the lip-smackingly dishes and the great staff. They have their signature dishes on the menu which are highly unlikely to be ever disliked. I personally tasted most of their dishes, the recent one being the veg platter and god, it was awesome.

Nice place and the vibe of the restaurant is awsome. I tried non veg items like Lazeez murg tikka masala and Butter naan..Little bit pricy but the taste is worth trying. Location is good and comfortable for every one kids, young, friends or family.U can spend quality time while having good food.

The chicken lollipop was good. Didn't like the pizza as much. The Friedrice was love, a definite must try. Among the chicken dishes, chicken rezala was not that good. Staff was good and helpful. The prices are a bit higher but can visit for a good meal.
nandan choudhury
Exquisite food. Par hygiene. Includes rare facilities like baby feeding room or separate private area. All in all, I'm won over

I was at yellow Chilli one of the heritage restaurants from Sanjeev Kapoor’s group of resturant . I have always loved their since it’s one of my favourite places to visit. I was at The Yellow Chilli with a friend of my mine and we tasted the new menu. The food was indeed splendid no doubt. The place is renovated and made into a beautiful one with extravagant decorations which looks more classy & elegant. The service is on point. The staff is really good & humble humans. Now coming to the food. I had tried their delicious Palak patta Chaat which was yummmm, the chicken Shorba was fabulously cooked. Starting the starters I love their whole Tandoori Chicken, cheese chilli chicken tikka was my favourite, the Cajun prawns are a must must try ! Malai ki Shami was again a loved one. The corn methi croquettes were delicious as it’s crisp & chessy. Coming to main course the Peshawari naan is my personal recommendation. The Lalla Mussa Daal is something you cannot miss. The Paneer Kofta & Rajasthani Murgh ka Mukul was the shows topper. For desserts I loved the Gulabi Gulkand. If you have sweet tooth it’s an absolute love. The Yellow Chilli is one of the finest resturants in the city that has been serving some of the delicious dishes in the city. The taste is authentic & flavours are wholesome. I personally recommend this place is a must try !

Great Ambience, Food is great and hospitality is great. Nice place for family dine out and for quality time. Price compared to Quality is fine but if you are after quantity. U may get disappointed.

The food was really amazing. The atmosphere and hospitality is great! As it’s mentioned that it’s specialised as a romantic restro yet it is...loved the vibe

Don't book this place for any events. To start with the staff is pathetic in service. Even though the food was already decided it took more than 45 minutes for them to serve the main course after they served the starter. Once the main course had been served the waiters didn't had the courtesy to ask the guest if they would like to repeat on portion of bread before serving them rice preparation. The worst part of the whole experience was their was an overcharge in the bill amount which was not even 10% of the bill and they were not able to rectify it. When we went to the restaurant to rectify the overcharge on next day, the management asked to come back on next as both the waiters were on leave. The next day the manager said the money was already dispatched to head office and the poor waiters would get penalized from their salary to rectify the overcharge. THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE THAT I HAD WITH ANY RESTAURANTS IN INDIA. YOU CAN'T PENALIZE POOR WAITERS FOR YOUR MISTAKES. Looks cheap for manager who is managing such a big restaurant. My opinion is to avoid this restaurant for events. Fine dining for small group is fine but this restaurant hasn't matured enough to host events.

Last night my family selected Yellow Chillies (my favourite as well) to celebrate my birthday. We ordered for a chicken Malai & a Paneer Starter it turned out to be very good. For oir children we ordered veg hakka noodles and for us we ordered plain nun and mutton nalli... Noodles were extremely oily & couldn't find any difference than a street side noodles, the veg content were only cabbage, Carrot & capsicum. Called someone from kitchen asked him to get it changed instead he said this is quality of noodles they serve at best they can replace it with plain Rice and Daal for children. Having no choice we said "ok". Now the Mutton had a smell more likely it was lamb. My wife couldn't have it. Though I tried but post having it I couldn't even wait for 5 mins and I had to use the restaurant's washroom to throw up... For the entire night I had loose motion. Didn't feel like giving a spot feedback at the restaurant because it was quite late night & the birthday celebration had already gone for a toss......... I used to be a fan of "Yellow Chillies" but Guwahati team have forced to change my opinion. Fyi for the gesture of daal, bhaat had tipped the serving guy, his behaviour was good.

It was my first visit to this place. The ambience is very simple and peaceful. It mainly serves north indian and continental cuisines.I ordered shabnam ke moti as starter which is basically button mushroom stuffed with cheese and rolled in a thin piece of indian bread. It was really tasty and something which i have never had before. Then for the main course i ordered butter nun and murg tikka butter masala. The chicken was very juicy, tender and finely cooked.Though prices are slightly on the higher side, yet i would suggest if you are in search of good food with good ambience, this is the place to be.Hoping to visit again.Good luck👍😊

Good food but quite expensive.. nice and quiet ambience.. i have been to this place several times.. this place is good for hanging out with friends and family.. Highly recommended.

Mostly crowded . <br/>Good food . But quality of food has deteriorated since the beginning. <br/>Good pricing in the menu .<br/>Staffs disappointed a lot as every time we need to keep waiting for one for our need . <br/>Overall good experience .<br/>

Visited this place twice. It has a good ambience and a lot of varieties in food. We ordered paneer takatak,Veg and non-veg platter,Kulcha, chicken,Rice etc,. I think the quantity of the food they serve in comparison with the price is very less. Even the kulcha had a stuffing of aloo ka paratha. Which was quite disappointing. Overall taste is good but it is very expensive.

Love the ambiance of this place .. From the staff to the food ... Everything is good visiting this place since past 5 years and the food quality is maintained . O would recomend bag of fries for the starters ..
Dibyajyoti Das
Have been to this place thrice and I never came home disappointed...it's a good place to hang out with friends, family and loved one's ...a bit pricey but love the food and ambience...the staffs are very polite and well behaved..
Rimjhim Goenka
The best family restaurant in town for some amazing North Indian food. It’s black dal is an all time wow. The combo of paneer tikka, black dal and rumali roti is must make and try. They only need to work on the music they play. Otherwise the food is a thumbs up!
Bandita Talukdar
I always wanted to go to TYC and finally managed to do so during this Durga saptami. The manchow soup was very good and so we had very high hopes with the mains. We ordered veg jalfarazi, amritsari chicken curry and dal fry and all the items were a total disappointment. The jalfarazi tasted like fried veggies in tomato sauce. The chicken curry was totally bland and dal was very basic. It’s utterly overpriced. I would suggest you to rather have food at home instead of going there and wasting your money.
Risha Kashyap
A very good place to visit. Quality food and services. The ambience is great. Just the price tag is bit much. Overall, a good place to visit. 👍<br/>
Sayan Nath

Yesterday evening was my first visit to the yellow chilli chain on occasion of my birthday.<br/>Food was awesome, we ordered<br/>starter- chilly baby corn,<br/>Main course-panner takatak, butter naan, veg pulav.<br/>Dessert-Kulfi with rabri.<br/>Complementry-6 Roasted papad & onion salad<br/>I am a north indian & vegetarian girl so for me it's a authentic north indian food.. i loved it too much..<br/>The service was prompt & courteous. As per taste food was not so much costly for Guwahati.<br/>Thank you Yellow chilli for delicious food..I had a best birthday dinner ever..
Priyal Poddar
The best restaurant in town where I always love to visit, because of the amazing taste in every cuisines. especially I love the sweet corn soup, hare bhare kabab, paneer tikka and how can I miss malai kofta and butter paneer masala which is my all time favourite
Kabyanuj Khound
If you are a fan of Sanjeev Kapoor, you will like everything about this place going just by the hang of it. For me, it's an above average family restaurant with no fuss at all. They treat you well, serve you promptly, and the food tastes good too. But that's about it. It's so stereotype!, Which might be a good thing, but personally I wouldn't prefer visiting here often. There are lots of other trending options in town, considering the price point at which these experiences come.
Nibedita Upadhyai
Nice ambience good service... the food can satisfy your taste buds... little overpriced and the kind of music is a lil boring... good place to try indian cuisine
Kavita Sahu
TYC Serves amazing food. We had both veg and non-veg and believe me, food here is sumptuous. It stands true to the flavour and zaaika of Chef Sanjeev Kapoor. Ambience is good, not great though. Family friendly, Yes. But a little boring for friends getting together.
Sangeeta S
Honestly, the food wasn't that good as expected. . I didn't like the taste, Briryani was tasteless. Sorry, the mutton ghosht was little better. The chicken Methi curry was just little tasty. Worst part when my bro found a wrong thing in the tomato butter nan. The starter, paneer something the name I forgot, was worst. So much tangy !! Tangy paneer along with yogurt onion was tasteless. Ummmmmm lastly, the desserts only was good because we had fruit cream, vanilla and butterscotch ice cream. I according to price, the quantity of food was too much less. Yet, fine. I thought the place was good and food, but food was not worth it.
Ruchi Agarwal
Food is not upto the mark... Very late in serving the food with no such ambience to the place...staff are very polite but as u stepped in u will not get different feeling.
Gaurav Agarwal
Ordered aloo, panneer and dal along with butter naan and tandoori roti. Got a gobsmacking bill of above 1400 which would not have been as gobsmacking if the food was even 1/10th of it's price tag which was attached with it.<br/>My suggestion : Unless you're planning to go have a few drinks and some not so wholesome starters, yellow chilli's door shall not be knocked. It is the absolutely worst place to go if you've starved yourself for a few hours only so you could fill yourself up to the helm again with lip-smacking delicacies. Not wholesome, not fulfilling and definitely not worth it. Never visiting again. Also will try to persuade anyone i know or care about from visiting so they don't spoil their evening with a disaster so disappointing that if one was a pakistani, misbah-ul-haq's final shot against joginder sharma in the T20 world cup final would seem like a no big deal if put in front of it to compare and contrast.

This place is a must-visit for food lovers our there. I just love the Biryani and Dal Makhani they serve here. The Papad with green chutney is complimentary in here, and also enhances your cravings and expectations for the food you've ordered. The Raita served with Biryani just adds to the taste.<br/>The ambience is really good, and will make you want to visit this place very often.<br/>After all, the lead is Sir Sanjeev Kapoor! ❤
Tushar Periwal
Found cockroach in food twice... this is the latest one and I am writing this from the restaurant itself.... people having food here, be careful of the complimentary bugs you might be served
Himakshi Bagaria
Are you craving some really good stomach filling food? Hop in to The Yellow Chilli. I love this place for the kinda North Indian food they serve here. Sabzi and Naans are made exactly the way you want them to.<br/><br/>You can also give your own input and customise your dish a little here and there just the way you like it. Especially when you ask for a Yellow Dal or Dal fry or Dal Tadka, don't forget to tell them how strong you want it to be. That's my favourite from this place.
My Food Experiment
I have visited this place many times and the food served by them never fail to impress me. Service is also very fast. Always a 'yes' for this place.!!
HashFoodLove
Honestly, the dishes were a bit spicy for my taste which overpowered the food and I could hardly taste the flavours. However the outlet is good for Indian cuisine.
O So Hungry
One word. Overpriced! Food is satisfactory! But one thing which could be appreciated is that , the staff members were polite and service was fast.
Navya Sri Choppa
Been here like 4-5 times....so can trust my review ....ambience is gr8....d food is a tad overpriced .....Anglo Indian bahar , tandoori chicken n chicken Tikka, amritsari machhi r a must try. Never try : Rogan Josh , shabnam k moti!!!
Bhaskar Jyoti Mohan
My 1st time visit with my wife and my frens family however it was not that remarkable. Found the foods are just ok...nothing special. As per the waiter's advise we had ordered meethi saag chicken however the salt amount was added more than the average and was in fact not in the right quantity and above standard. However along with the nun we could take that chicken somehow. Also ordered chicken chowmein but it was less oily no doubt about it but was not fried properly and the amount of egg was more than the chicken in it. Anyways food was just ok and not bad an...nothing special about it. May be the cook might have some different taste for salt. People can visit definitely...but should not keep any expectations for Chinese...for Chinese we have more other best places available in the city
Tako Jamir
The rooftop sitting arrangement with open space and lighting makes you fall in love with this place. Great place to grab some satisfying pines of beer to escape the cruel summer heat (My suggestion, visit the place after dusk). Unluckily I couldn't try out the food out here (Purpose of last visit = To rehydrate my beer belly... 😄). I wouldn't mind visiting this place again, and will surely remember to try out the food when the time comes.

Sates your tastebuds well. <br/>I don't really remember what I had. Very 'forgetful' food.<br/><br/>High price, meagre amount. Lol.<br/><br/>Interior good. Ambience nice. Bleh. <br/><br/>All about glitz and glam. <br/>Not interested in visiting again.<br/>...
Maddy
Wn there many a times.,..Food is good.... bt some dishes contain too much of masala....it overpowers the food...the outlet is good for Indian cusine.

1. GREAT AMBIENCE<br/>2. GOOD SERVICE<br/>3. PLEASING MUSIC<br/>4. FAST SERVICE<br/>5. FOOD SO SO<br/>6. OVERPRICED FOR THE QUALITY AND QUANTITY BEING SERVED!!..
Apti Bhattacharya
My experience in dis "sanjeev kapoor" restaurant was very good.the servers were very polite n well behaved n the ambiance was pleasant too.<br/>Since we were in a hurry to catch our movie we ordered for chicken manchow soup n mutton parsi biryani.i was very impressed with the food.the soup though being Chinese wasn't overbearing n was lovely in taste.n so was the biryani.the mutton was juicy n easy to eat unlike many mutton biryani i have tasted.it was on similar lines of Hyderabadi biryani minus the veggies..one of the best biryani i have tasted indeed.overall ilook forward for thier food again as i was a happy customer

Great place to have fun with your loved ones and family. Good service and food 👌👌👌👌👌. There's a bar and you can book a hall and create events and birthday party.

For me the yellow chilly is 👍<br/>I always like to go with my frnds<br/>I love the food of yellow chilly <br/>Basically I love the biryani of the yellow chilly
Akshata
This was my first visit to the yellow chilli chain and I chose the Guwahati outlet. The ambience was good and the seating spacious. The food was awesome. The starter, chowrangee chicken chilli was spicy, true to its name and I enjoyed it very much. The harissa paneer was nice too but the bar had been set by the chicken. Next came chicken Kali mirch recommended by the staff and I loved it too. It went well with the garlic naan that I ordered. The mushroom Sabzi was a bit disappointing as I love mushrooms and the taste wasn’t upto the mark. The service was prompt and courteous. The staff was very cordial. So the first experience with yellow chilli was awesome and soon I will visit the outlet near my home. Thank you yellow chilli for the delicious food. I had a great time.
Papia Nath
Truly one of the finest place for North-Indian food lovers... Be it veg or Non-Veg, this place will never ever disappoint you. I the interiors are soothing and the staffs are very well mannered. The price is high as compared to others but it is okay to spend that much for something with is authentic and tastes good. A big thumps up for the great service and lip-smacking food.
Ranita Sur
Well this place made my diwali away from home. The murg noormahal biryani tasted awsome. Better than any other places i have tried. And the zauk-e-shahi was also good. Even the waiters were very attentive and well behaved.

A place famous for Sanjeev kapoor and his signature dishes. This place shares a different positive vibe as soon as you enter. The staffs are good and delivers fast services. Food was extraordinarily perfect because everytime I go, they never fails to disappoint me by any means. <br/>Assuming everyone must have visited it already :'D<br/>Thank you!
Hoimawati Talukdar
Expensive outlet. I found the food items too spicy. Taste is similar to any other regular eateries. But the ambience is really cool. It is not noisy unlike other places.<br/>
Mohit Jain
A perfect place to do fine dine. The place has mood refreshing ambiance and good management. The price of the food items are not so high. The taste of each and every dish prepared here is damn tasty. Complimentary dish is also served here.

I visit dis place most of the time but the food is getring worst day by day..sometimes its too sweet and sometimes its too spicy ..<br/>I have no idea wats wrong wid dis place..things are getting horrible day by day..<br/>Today im here for lunch ..and just now the curry which i ordered is too sweet..so dey were giving lame excuses like the chef is different ..dis and dat..<br/><br/>Disguisting place ..
Farukh Hazarika
One word. Overpriced! And food is nothing extraordinary. Coming from the chain thst this one does, people would expect a lot more tgan they are offering at the moment. If they want to sustain they need to buck up
Hridip
This place is really good to have Indian food. We had ordered an assortment of various naans along with chicken.<br/>The staff is good, the food is good too. But sometimes it takes a while for them to serve your order.<br/>Do try the Cheese Naan & Peshawari Naan when you visit. Kudos!
Kasturi Kashyap
If you love indian food its a must visit place perfectly cooked food with lots of love for the customers from starters to main course till the end sweet dish i love every dish. No dissappointment at all must visit
Kaushik Paul
Great food with awesome staff. You should try the signature dal that was simply yummy. I would recommend every visitors to try this outlet which is owned by Sanjib kapoor.

I went to this restaurant a few years ago and then I liked it. However when I went there recently, I didn't like it much. The ambience of the restaurant was fine but the service was poor. The starters took a lot of time to be served. The main course, however, <br/>was served in time, but the food was not tasty. The only thing I liked there was the biryani. It was delicious. If you plan to go there, please order biryani. The food was very expensive and was not worth it. If you plan to go to a restaurant which has the value for your money, please don't go to The Yellow Chilli.
Aruna Krishna Deka
I find this place so classy!! I love everything about here. I have visited this fine-dine twice and the first thing that grabs the attention is the service. I shall give five out five for hospitality. Must say, they are so well-trained. The food is excellent too. We had Garlic Naan and Butter Chicken Masala that was very very, very delicious. Earlier, we had taken some sort of rice and Indian Chicken gravy items (forgot the names) which was good too. In short, it's an awesome place for Indian dishes. However, the Pinncolada disappointed me to the core. I know, that should have a flavor of coconut, but I guess, it was too much "coconutty"! The prices are up to the mark I say.<br/><br/>Overall, I love being here and would definitely get back to it in the future. If you have not visited, what are you waiting for??  :) :P :)
Baidurjya Medhi
Good place for a dine.m with a typical small city's restaurant ambience. <br/>Food here is good. <br/>A good family dine in. <br/>Being in the centre of the city found a bit troublesome for parking my car sometimes. <br/>Recommendable.
The_unknown_food_battle
One word for the food "Wow"😍 Sanjeev Kapoor brand oviously its someting worth trying. The prices are high but the taste of the food is upto the price. The golden yellow lights, chairs & tables are something very attractive to the eyes. Staffs are not so good. They were giving a wired look on us which was very disturbing for us actually. Overall a good place.
Akshay Parakh
I have been looking to visit this place since very long and finally got the opportunity yesterday, to celebrate friendship day with friends and good food.<br/><br/>About the place, classy restaurant, belong to chef Sanjeev Kapur brand. Neatly decored, interior complimenting the golden yellow light. And I believe, the best north Indian restaurant in the city.<br/>Service and Staff, Service was bit disappointing, had to wait everytime munching on complimentary Papad and pickled papaya for everything. But staff members were really courteous. Their suggestions were also really helpful.<br/>Ambience, initially, very few people were there, so music, which was traditional Indian tune, was low. But as crowd flushed in, volume was increased.<br/>Food, the best part, I would rate 5 on 5 for this. We started with tandoori platter, wherein, we included 2 of their signature, star marked, paneer tikka, one was coated in green paste and the other in orange, both delicious. Then it also had mushroom kebab and seek kebab, which were tasty in their own way.<br/>Curry - Anglo Indian mix veg, mushroom peppers broccoli potato and baby corn all in orange gravy served over green spinach gravy. You can actually feel a variety of flavors inside your mouth. The best mix veg, I have had . Lehsuni Naan is perfect match.<br/>Lalla Mussa Daal, name really weird, I forgot to ask the inspiration, but taste, you won't forget. I don't think one could find a better Daal makhni here. I finished the entire portion all by myself.<br/>Butte Naan and Stuffed Kulcha, regular...<br/>Veg Biryani - real dum biryani, raita served alongside.<br/>Gulab Jamun - Hot and to kill for. <br/>Frozen Margarita - any Margarita is incomplete with salt around the edge. Which was missing. They made it very sweet.<br/>Masala mint cooler and masala chaach : really masaledaar and refreshing.<br/><br/>Overall, very idle place for north Indian food lovers. You also have oriental choice in the menu.<br/>As far as money is concerned, place is quite costly, but if you are a connoisseur, you will find it worth spending.
Anupam Bhattacharya
Nothing special to mention about the food. We had ordered plain rice, harippa paneer(starter, their signature dish), murg surveda( main course, again signature dish) , and fresh lime soda. The taste was just OK,we would expect a much! The ambience was nice and the staffs are very helpful, decent. I felt the price is bit in high range (might be due to sanjeev Kapoor's Brand). Definitely not a budget friendly restaurant but little disappointed about the food also. The bills and some photographs are attached herewith.
Abhishek Agarwal
A decent place with decent food. Should not say the best in the city but not bad as well.<br/>But guys u need to upgrade ur music collections. Awful music played by you all throughout.
Priyaranjan Kar
I would rate this place as the best a thousand times more if I could. The ambience ,the taste ,the dishes all are just more than perfect.<br/>As you all must know "the yellow chilli" is the chain of restaurants owned and managed by none other than chef Sanjeev Kapoor, now I have not eaten at any other branches of this at any other place.. but the food served here..believe me guys ... U will be more than contented whenever u have food here.. the price will feel worth it when you are done with your food.<br/><br/>I make sure whenever I m in Guwahati,I surely visit this palce atleast once with my family.<br/><br/>Lovely place, lovely staff..<br/>This place lives upto their name - Sanjeev kapoor's.<br/>Totally awesome place.<br/><br/>Special thanks to the head chef-<br/>Mr shiv gopal Verma to make the food here this amazing.<br/>
Samyak Sethi
Hopeless service. Overrated food. Planning to not come back again. Kindly work on the temparament of your staff they were highly unprofessional. <br/><br/><br/>
Bhargav Gogoi
Went there for family dinner last night and here is my experience. I didn't quite like the complimentary papad that was served. I think a glass of mocktail or something similar should be served instead. We ordered a veg and a nonveg starter which was quite spicy. The main course was good and was the saving grace of our dinner. I really like the mixed veg and the chicken item that we ordered. Also ordered yellow dal which was fantastic. We ordered Kulfi for desserts and it was just about average. Service though was a little slow and I expect better from a fine dining restaurant like this one.
Anchal Somani
The interiors and the soft music adds to the aesthetic quality of the place. Food is delicious and well served. The service is good enough.<br/>**But they have some issues with hygiene.**
Rituparna Dhar
Everything is good but yet again things are costly though. <br/>Staffs are quite well mannered and they take care of each and every aspect of yours and move according to your convenience.

It's a lovely place with yummy food especially North Indian stuff . Had butter nun and butter chicken it was really so awesome . Also the kulfi was wow .... the service is also good .. it's a must try for North Indian food lovers ...

This  yellow  chilli  really  tenders  good  tastes  ,  but  not  the  taste  of  real  yellow  chilli  !   I  used  to  go  to  this  food  joint  so  many  times  .  But  today  I  visited   yellow  chilli  after  a  gap  of  nearly  5  months  due  to medical  problem   . I  noticed  that  that  they  have  brought  some  changes  in  their  bar  menue  .  The  more  you  take  ,  less  is  the  price .  This  will  really  boost  up  their  commercial  purpose  ,  because  in  ordinary   restaurant  the  price   charged  is  more  than  one  &  half  times   of  yellow  chilli .  So  ,  the  foodies  will  definitely  go  to  YELLOW   CHILLI  because  the  drinks  will  be  cheaper  with   their   good  dishes  .

Now I'm not usually a big fan of going to restaurants which serve solely Indian cuisine. Don't get me wrong- I love Indian food but I have become tired of the same old trite flavors in almost every restaurant that serves Indian food. That doesn't imply that the food isn't good enough, it might be finger licking good but what disappoints me is the lack of creativity in most of the dishes. And with a heavy heart I have to say that The Yellow Chilli happened to be one such restaurant serving "cliched" Indian food.<br/>Again, don't get me wrong but the food was delicious. The chicken was succulent, the gravy thick and spicy and the nan bread had just the right amount of chewiness and a subtle crunch in it. But then again, the food wasn't really all that different from that served in any other (more affordable) restaurant. So that's the thing which disappointed me. <br/>Setting that aside, I enjoyed my lunch and finished off with a delicious sundae. So, sure you should definitely hit this place if you don't mind the clicheness of Indian restaurant food as long as it tastes good and have been good kids all week and earned yourself enough pocket money. Cheers!

We ordered for fish in oyster sauce..and this is what we got..where the fish was fried and where the sauce was anything but oyster sauce. I feel the staff added some fish to an already cooked gravy. My niece even vomited after eating the food. The name of the chain will be maligned due to inefficiency of regional staff..very disappointed with the food.

One of the best in guwahati. <br/>Ambiance - 4/5<br/>Food - 4/5<br/>The only things that disappointed me is that there are a lot of waiters roaming around the tables but all seem to be little deaf as they respond lately. <br/>Continuous music playing (Not live music) makes the environment better. <br/>Not much costly. <br/>Recommended to visit.

Hungry Panda
Sanjeev Kapoor's name gives you hope of the delicious stuffs you have been watching in TV since childhood but it doesn't stand up to the name. Good food but highly overpriced. Not worth it. It never felt like going back there.

Located in the prime location of G.S. Road inside HUB or Eastrendz Shopping Mall, The Yellow Chilli is a Sanjeev Kapoor restaurant but considering the fame the chef has, the restaurant doesn't live up to the expectations.

I have been here a couple of times..they have a good range of cuisines on their menu..have tried both their chicken as well as fish items..they were good but may be not upto Sanjeev Kapoor Mark..staff service was ok.. restaurant is beautiful..very spacious with co-ordinated colours..parking shouldn't be a problem here.

I have been to this place a couple of times for their exotic Indian cuisine. The menu is huge and offers a wide variety of choices. Worth mentioning is their Chicken Ludhianwi which is a creamy soft chicken curry and very delicious. I like to have it with butter naan. <br/><br/>The prices are on the higher side, obviously because it is a Sanjeev Kapoor's food joint chain. The presentation of the food is not up to the mark though. The ambience is good, and the service is ok. They take around 20 mins to serve the dishes, which is normal. Overall, a nice place for fine dining.

After reading the reviews of this place I was a bit apprehensive but decided to brave it. The verdict: 1) Service is good, the staff were rather over helpful and piled stuff on our plates anytime they seemed in danger on getting empty!<br/>2) Ordered a chicken gravy dish which was nice and tasty though the portions were somewhat small for the price. The Naans went well with the chicken. Onion salad and papads are complementary. If you order beer you get free peanuts too!@<br/>3) Prices are a bit on the higher side. Naan, chicken and beer cost me 950+ . Good for taking your loved one out for a nice dinner but if you are a fan of big portions better options nearby.

Food isn't outstanding really, the waiters are also not bothered actually. Very casual. Don't be deceived by the menu because Sanjeev Kapoor has made the menu but he's not going to make your food ! Trust me people, don't get fooled by the buzz and hype and interiors. Its a normal place don't go with much expectations, you can thank me later ! :)

Totally contended with my visit to this place. Beautiful interiors , very friendly service and delicious food. The rates are somewhat high but you'll still want to pay for such wonderful food. Also there are various dishes to choose from and the staff are very well aware of the menu. I'll definitely be visiting it soon !

The Yellow Chili -Everyone know it is Sanjeev Kapoor's restaurant chain but you will find different chefs and with their recipes. <br/><br/>Menu: The Menu is full of interesting sections such as salad, soup, curries etc. The names of the food items are also interesting; such as Puran Singh da Tariwala Murgh, Lapta Chicken, Nargisi Anda Curry, Amchi Mumbai Rustami Biryani and many more.<br/><br/>Food Taste: The tastewise food is delicious and considering that we find only north-east flavored foods in most of the places in Guwahati- this one stands out.<br/><br/>What I liked most: I really liked the Dum Gosht Biryani and Lemon Grass Chicken Tikka here. Items are a bit overpriced- but when you are on Happy Trip- it will be all worth it.<br/><br/>Undoubtedly, it is one of most Finest Restaurant in Guwahati.

<br/>If you are traveling and looking for a safe bet. I would suggest go for it.<br/><br/>Compare to other places in Guwahati I find this place very nice. Food service and quality of it is just apt.<br/><br/>All though it's little pricy.

Oh what makes me rate this place at 3.5 is getting here is not easy, being situated at busy GS road hub, parking becomes a problem. When you are tired you would prefer a slow music and an silent environment. Now environment is necessary to enjoy taste and relax for a while, this place was full with children's screaming. Food was good but true North Indian cusine is different, the taste you get in Delhi is different. All in all a good place to eat out with family but not for couples. Some how they featured in romantic places but there can't be romance with children screaming :) but I am fine with the food and service they provide. Staff are very learned, but somehow I felt they felt reluctant to come forward

It is located at 4th floor in the hub. We went on a sunday evening and restaurant was packed with people. The food was amazing. Ordered the signature dish shaam savera its a paneer dish in tomato gravy ,it was scrumptious. Also orderd a ghobi dish which was average.we also ordered a mixed bread basket which was good. The nan was nice and thin with no raw thick edges. The mixed bread basket option is not mentioned in the menu but you can ask the waiter and he would happily arrange it for you. We also ordered a non veg starter lahsooni dhaniya chicken which also is not mentioned in the menu and was suggested by the waiter. Overall a good experience.<br/><br/>Now the negatives - the music was a little loud<br/> In the dessert section only gulab jamun and kulfi rabdi were available although the menu list 6 , 7 options, this was a little disappointing.<br/>

We had just graduated and started earning. This was the first high end restaurant I had visited....... Its been 7 years but I can feel the ambience even today.<br/>Service is grand not just good. They will make you feel royalty.<br/>Tastewise undoubtedly the best North Indian cuisine at Guwahati.<br/>Quantity of food also good.<br/>Ya its costly, but the service and the taste more than suffices

I went there with my family for dinner .The ambiance was very good and so was the decorations. The place smelt very good. There was a good distance between tables. The service was prompt and excellent. Waiters were very good in their job and very versatile Food preparation time was very low. The food was very good. We ordered Chicken Gravy, plain rice and veg Biriani and ice cream. There was complimentary raita and papad. Satisfied.

TYC 😎 The best North Indian restaurant in Guwahati till date. As the name says Sanjeev Kapoors, I have been visiting TYC from years I have never faced any problem in terms of taste,ambience,hospitality<br/><br/>Must try - dal makhni, paneer reshmi <br/><br/>But yesterday I visited it after 4 months I saw that charm, uniqueness is getting lost. Serious renovation is required and it should be made more lively.<br/><br/>Otherwise it remains no 1 in its segment

Chicken Butter Masala of "The yellow chilli, Guwahati" has no butter in it :D It is chicken dipped in sugar syrup!! Yuck! Sweet and sour chicken is what they serve in the name of Butter chicken! And the waiters have the audacity to say that yes, Butter Chicken is sweet and sour indeed!! The chicken pieces are not even cooked well. Be careful when you dig the fork into it! It might never come out again :D !!! Then they charge you 60-70 rs for a single cold roomali roti wrapped in aluminium foil to preserve the "coldness" I guess :D... They also have a unique dish cold "Puraan Singh da taariwala murg" , the curry of which smells of raw mirch powder!!!!!! Their dal smells of raw garlic!!!!!!!!! And for all these, you have to pay Rs. 2579!!!!!!!!! Seriously, never visit that restaurant which is running only by its name... Dining there is a disaster!!! Go to any dhaba.... You will get over a 1000 times better taste and value for money!!!

Lalla Mussa Dal and nizami tarkari biryani are the two things we tasted here. Dal taste really good and the biryani too but it contained a little too much of gol mirchi. For North Indian cuisines one can surely drop by. Ambience is also up to the mark.

This was my favorite place in Guwahati. Whether you want to go with 2-3 friends or 15 friends, this was always my first choice. Food quality was amazing. Staff was very chill.
