Review Momo Station - Guwahati

Ikshyaku Raj Gautam
It is one of the most talked about fast food restaurants. I tried the American choupsey which has become my personal favourite. The Chinese choupsey was not upto the expectations. But the fried rice was way too dry & the extra gravy would cost more. The area is not that big but enough to dine. I too tried the chowmein which was average.

John's Kitchen, in GS Road, Guwahati, is my go-to Chinese eatery. This budget-friendly restaurant is loved by Chinese food lovers like me. The ambiance of the restaurant is good but it is overly crowded most of the time due to its popularity, especially during lunch hours. Despite the occasional crowding, the gastronomic experience it offers surpasses all inconvenience. They serve yummilicious chowmein and fried rice. And yes, don't forget to try the succulent momos. Each bite is a journey into savory perfection. A must-visit for foodies!

In addition to the fantastic food and service, the ambiance of John Chang's Kitchen adds to its charm. The tasteful decor and comfortable seating create a pleasant environment for enjoying a meal with friends, family, or even for a solo dining experience. In conclusion, John Chang's Kitchen has earned its reputation as a great restaurant. From the warm hospitality to the mouthwatering dishes, this establishment goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, I highly recommend treating yourself to the culinary delights that John's Kitchen has to offer. It's a five-star experience all around.

John Chang’s Kitchen (popularly known as John’s kitchen) is one of cat‘s finest and most popular Chinese restaurants. It has a cute little space or comedy thing around 50 to 60 people and it serves famous dishes like American chop suey, momos, fried rice. I had ordered pork momos, American chop suey and pork dry fry. Quantity is a lot and price is pocket friendly, had a lovely experience and I am definitely going to visit again. Note- There might be a wait time if you go during lunch

Decent eatery with decent price. Tried the chicken momos, and chicken American chop suey. Momos were good, not the best, but good for Rs. 80. Same goes for chop suey, the quantity was great for the price. Service was quick, however, the ambience could be a bit better, if the attendants and the owner had a little smile on 😅

We had lunch here. It's a Chinese restaurant. Being honest, it serves one of the best and authentic Chinese. Loved the food, the ambience, the staff behaviour, and the place is amazing. The decor is very exclusive and has a theme. Great for travellers or trekkers to visit the place. We order for ginger chicken, mixed hakka Noodles, steamed rice. It's pocket friendly and the food is fresh. The serving time is quick. I would recommend this place.

Very nice for Chinese food. You can find variety of it. We had a chilly pronz and american chopsy both are really good and taste is amazing. Place is small but it has its own kind of ambience. All walls are flooded with bike riders photos and their logos. Go and have blast.

One of the most talked about restaurants in the Bhangagarh area. It is a chinese restaurant. It is not very big in space. We had chicken and pork fried rice and it did not taste very good. It was so dry that it would give complex to Rajasthan. Extra gravy was available but since the restaurant was about to close, we did not order. The American Choupsey here is said to taste very good. Definitely going to try it some other day.

The food was mouth watering as it always has been but one thing I might suggest is that they could include a couple of more items in the menu and make the cost of the food a bit cheaper !

was my favourite food joint during my school days... good food, large quantity and low price... but recently I went to their restaurant... their food taste has degraded... even the restaurant is not crowded like it used to be... even it was not that hygienic

Hakka noodles was not up to mark..it was too oily..

Totally unhygienic place with cockroaches roaming around. Poor lighting. Never in my life am I going to visit that place ever again. And the food is not good either. The fried momos were burnt.

This place is not recommendable to anyone. I visited this place while roaming around that commerce point, with a very empty stomach but didn't get good service and this place is not hygienic too.

Highly recommended if u want to get admitted to hospital for food infection because of such awful hygiene condition. Tasty food accompanied by worst hygiene condition

Such a dirty place. Found cockroaches all over the place and hair in food. Chee yukkk. Highly not hygienic. Don't go. Food is tasty but bad for health. Rotten food.

Not a great place to hangout .. comparatively small place .. good food .. good momo .. service needs a bit improvement .. that's it.
Joydeep Konwar
WARNING- Do not eat here. The momos were stuffed only with onions and monosodium glutamate which is enough to ruin your stomach completely.

Located next to guwahati Commerce college Momo station is a good place only to grab Momo served with a green coriander chilli chutney and soup. It's really juicy yummy.
I tried for the pork meat balls which was worthless and the special chicken Hakka noodles which was not good at all ..
It's a place as the name goes only for Momo.

As the name goes, Momo's are what I loved here. Affordable and good food. Quality of service is good. Usually crowded with the nearby college students. Needs to work on it's interior though. Overall a good place.✔

Studied in gcc so momo station visit was done. Everyone liked the momo here but not me.i preferred the chopseuy.it is good. Fried rice is around 3/5. Parking space near it may create a headache. When you enter you will see a lot of college couples or frnds enjoying the meal during the break. If you like simple American choupseuy at a reasonable rate you must try in

The place has been on a downward spiral since the last 6-7 months...the quality of food (not to mention the momos) has been on a free fall and though the place is still doing good business it won't be long before their negligence and incompetence catches up with them...
Mohi Uddin
Nice noisy place. Ideal for a quick and cheap lunch or a quick bite. Dumplings are good. So is most of the items on the Chinese menu. Affordable for students. Just opposite a prominent college, sense the ambience is apt for accommodating a huge clientele at the same time.

This place is very AFFORDABLE specially for the students... Whenever I find myself in Commerce, I use to step into this place for their specially prepared steamed and fried MOMOS... But my experience with their pork dishes is hell... Raw pork dry fry is what I had tasted there!!! This eatery has undergone a transformation in its capacity since 2014... Overall a place worth visiting for momos...
N.B.- While u pay the bill, they'll ask for change!!!

An average place where u can have ur branch or lunch here food is good. This place is basically fully loaded with the colloge students as they have no other option n near by all the restaurant are of same kind... they need to do something with there interior but over all its fine ..@prerna

Being a student from Gauhati commerce college this place is an important part of our college days n we often visited this place. Food here is average bt the cost of the food served is increasing day by day but the food quality is detoriating. Being a place usually preffered by students the price shoud be a bit less and this place really lacks hygene. Great and acessible location this place really has scope of improvement.

This place used to be our favourite ( being a GCCian). Our regular hangout for momos. But man has the quality gone down! This super awesome place have turned into something I never expected it to be. The momos are dry and tasteless. The rolls are edible but everything else has just gone down.

If it would be 3-4years back i would have rated this place a 3.5-4 stars but now 1 star ( even 1 seems more). I really hope they start improving because they are losing customers who prefer other joints now, like, red pepper, retreat, dongpo and others .

Nostalgic memories shack in dis place back during my college times
Considerably was the best hangout spot during those times

Menu doesn't consist too much of options though, we always settled down for the Momo's or noodles

Pricing isn't a worry
Quantity fair

I still visit it whenever I am around

Located near Gauhati Commerce College, Momo Station is not a bad place to go if you're hungry and need a quick fix without spending much. The momos are average and they also serve noodles, rolls etc which are the staples of college students. But the place is very cramped and chaotic with students conversing in shrill tones. If you wish to sit somewhere in comfort and have a quiet meal, this place is not for you.
