I had craving of eating food on banana leaf, searched for restaurants all over Pune and the craving was only fulfilled at DAKSHIN ROYAL. The taste is amazing here , be it dosa or rice or thali. The price range is average and justifies the taste and quantity. The service is very prompt and the staff is very kind. Must visit !!

Tired chiken biryani, Malabar paratha, chicken curry and chicken thali. Food taste was good Quality was sufficient Service was fast Ambience could be better (but it was clean and hygienic) My take is - must try this restaurant

I visited this place only once. You can get the authentic South Indian Style food served here.. I ordered Chicken Thali which was at a little expensive side however the taste and quality is matched the price I was charged.. Service was impeccable.. Also, I tried different type of side dishes and rice rotis.. Place is not that shady, Good to bring your family and friends and enjoy a overwhelming meals and south indian dishes.. Great Experience..

Little did we know about Dakshin Royal when we had been craving for authentic South-Indian food since morning. We were cruising through the road & found this outlet in Hinjawadi & we went in. There was a person sanitizing the front door, let us in & we were immersed into the devotional songs that was being played there, we were hooked in seconds (yes!!! We have chosen a right place). We were introduced to the menus by Pooja who takes care of the restaurant & she mentioned how they have been using authentic materials in order bring the taste of south in Pune. She talked us through all the other dishes & it was like a virtual tour for food which we appreciated her for. We decided to have south indian filter coffee & mysore masala dosa. The presentation of the food & the way it was served was extraordinary and so was the taste. I would recommend everyone to at least visit this place once & it will be a place you would visit quite often, not only because of the food but the kind of staffs they have who will make you feel at home. A special shout out to Pooja who was extremely guest centric & that made her an asset to the Restaurant.

Very good in taste. I tried dosa, curd rice, lemon rice, tomato rice one more , you can check the posted pictures. Taste , portion size - 5 star Ambience and location - 5 star Overall - Really good , you should try once.

The taste was really good. I tried the chicken combo with 2 parathas. The service was also good. Although the restaurant is pretty neat and tidy it lacks some ambience. But nonetheless the food was the best part

The buffet option is great. Good food for descent price. Dishes here do taste like authentic South Indian chettinad style from TN. Worth the money. Need more vegetarian options.
