Review Kichhukshan Restaurant - Howrah

I have been eating food from this restaurant since the start of this. mixed fried rice is that dish which made me love it, in terms of taste and quantity of the ingredients as well as the quantity of the dish. By recent tasting I feel that the taste is not that much as my taste buds remember and the quantity of the whole dish has been reduced but the amount of ingredients remains as it was.... In terms of service, the main disadvantage is that they have the UPI option but it will cost 5% extra GST which I have found a little bit odd.

For any person in and around howrah kadamtala area has a special place in the heart for this restaurant. Almost 30 years old food joint and still equally famous. Now there are lots of other competitors available, even dominos, kfc also at the doorstep but still people will end up rushing for kichukkhon. I have explored food in many places but some dishes in kichukkhon are still my number 1. Specially "Mixed Hakka noodles" Special recommendation - anything.. but my most ordered are 1. Fish begum bahar 2. Chilli paneer 3. Mix hakka noodles / fried rice 4. Butter naan / bharta or any tikka gravy 5. Special Moglai. 6. Chinese chicken roast

Best place for food in reasonable price. You can go with your family or friends. The ambience wasn't so good but the quality and quantity of food was just awesome. You definitely loved this. Just visit this place.

Good food quality, specially quantity is perfect as compared to it's price. Family restaurant, ac non-ac both are available. Services are good, you can spend time here and get some good food.

The ambience and layout could have been much better given that the food is brilliant both by terms of quantity of the serving as well as the taste. Prices, too, are very pocket friendly. In a nutshell, super food without burning a hole in your purse.

One of the oldest restaurant on Howrah. Food quality was always up to the mark, and it's still. Do try their kababs, chilli chicken, chicken Manchurian, mixed fried rice, fish begum bahar, chicken Reshmi butter masala, fish fry etc. Don't try their fried chicken, it's nothing like fried chicken but much like soft pakoras. Upi and card payment is available but it carries 5% extra gst; so if you don't wanna spend extra 5%, keep the cash option open. Service is really good, the staffs are working here for almost 10-15 years or more. Go for it.

I am not much a review person. But I loved the food so much that's why I shear my experience. I ordered Reshmi chicken , prawn pakora, for starter And the main course kichukhon spl chicken and rice. All dishes are well prepared and test is better then any other local restaurants. And the person served us I didn't know his name ,but he is also a cool person .

Cheap and best . Not available on zomato. But having own arrangements to send it home by private delivery man . Now charging approx 120 for delivery. Zomato usually charge 20% and delivery charges.

One of the best restaurants of Howrah. They have old school charm, don't look for fancy interior. When it comes to food,they are excellent. They serve a large quantity of food in reasonable price. Taste is excellent. Must try: 1. Kichhukshan special fried rice( best seller,almost legendary) 2. Reshmi butter mashala. 3. Chicken Bharta. 4. Tandoori chicken.

If you want better quality foods then you can try over here. Price is normal. Get percel and home delivery facilities also. Get parcel between 15mins.

Food is awesome, Service at dining and take away is very prompt. Very reasonable rate as per good quality.

Located at Kadamtala, Howrah on the 100 foot street<br/>Established in 1995 this restaurant was the only muti cuisine restaurant in that area during a long time.<br/><br/>Ambience- There are 3 sitting areas.<br/>One is the basement sitting area (non AC) having capacity of 12 people. The is also a Non AC sitting area in side to accommodate 20 people. A special AC sitting area is also there which can accommodate 30 people.<br/><br/>Ordered:-<br/>,Veg Fried Rice- 1 plate sufficient for 2 people.<br/><br/>Chilli Chicken (with bone)- Available in boneless and with bone. Contained 8 pieces of chicken and cooked with capsicum, green chilli and onion. Taste awesome but spicy.<br/><br/>Chilli Fish- Contained 8 pieces of fish (not Bhetki) with gravy almost similar to chilli chicken.<br/><br/>Baby Corn Chilli- Slices of baby corn pieces of decent numbers cooked with capsicum and green chilli. (Highly Recommended).

This place is quite small as for dine in place, located near Dumujala Stadium. It always remains crowded and it’s quite hard to find seat here.<br/>I had tried their naan, fried rice and chilli chicken.<br/>Food taste was good but yes the food was oily.

First of all, this review is based on their takeaway service.<br/>The Biriyani is good. I wouldn't say. The best. But pretty good. And the North Indian section as a whole is really nice. I personally loved their Reshmi Butter Masala<br/>Coming to their Chinese food. Again. Could be better. But definitely not bad<br/>One amazing thing is that the portion they serve is huge.<br/>

The food at Kichhukshan appears simple, but the flavours have remarkable depth. The shop is always crowded with customers. I have loved this place since eternity. The food is great, freshly cooked very tasty and well presented. One can find chinese, North indian dishes here. Though I am quite a fan of this restaurant, my most favourite dish would be chicken reshmi butter masala. Overall a good meal and great value.

This is a good place for dine in or take away food. Price is affordable and quality of food is above the standard of price. We often try its biryani and chicken/mutton curry. It's beautiful.we love it.

Once it was the only proper restaurant in Howrah serving tasty good quality food but now their quality is gradually detoriating. Though their chicken bharta and chilly chicken are my all time favorite.

I wish I could have something nice to say, the food might be okayish, but the staff behavior is not worth it. The service is the slowest. They don't have the minimum courtesy to bring the menu to the table, when asked for them they do not respond. I absolutely hated the behavior and they were not at all cooperative. I won't recommend to sit and dine, the take away service is better.

They have been maintaining the same good food quality from many years. Recently I visited this restaurant and nice to see the things have never change according to time. Worst restaurant. Using some other animals meat.so be aware.Their spl. Mixed chowmin is very poor in taste and chicken given in it does not taste like chicken.worst taste. I think they are dealing with other animals meat.

This is like the place in howrah, which has been famous for decades for it's well known service and good food. But with time the quality has dropped. But I should say that I still like it here. The place has a lot of great dishes to offer. One Should be here at least once to get a taste of one of the best known restaurants in howrah.

Others foods also very good such as fish begam bahar, chicken reshmi butter masala, hot and sour soup, biriyani, chikhen chap and so on... And their moghlai paratha also just awsome.<br/>All over this place is one of my best place.<br/>I recommend this restaurant for family get-together and frnds get together for dinner. 🙂

It is pocket friendly place, we visit this place with my mother in law and my wife, their food quality is very good, all staff is very friendly. Their service is very good. but some cleaning problem is not comfortable in ground floor.. pest control not maintained properly.. another everything is almost good

Food is very nice just the place is conjested but really their mixed fried rice is one of their signature dishes and nobody in howrah is not there maybe who doesnt knows about it. Really food is quite nice.

Kichhukshan is considered to be one of the best restaurants of Howrah. I couldn't understand the reason as my visit at this place turned out to be a disaster. The staffs are too rude. We, six people, shared a table of four, despite of requesting them to join the tables. <br/>Now let's come to food. We ordered Smoked Chicken for starter, and Prawn Fried Rice, Chilly Fish and Hong Kong Chicken for main course. Smoked Chicken was pale and cold. Hong Kong Chicken tasted something different (it was not at all like the original cuisine). Again the main course was cold. To sum up, I was disappointed.

In my childhood days it was one of those resturents my parents took me, after years today I went there with my family and I was really disappointed with the huge degradation of food quality and staffs were not even courteous. We ordered fish finger, it came with French fries on the top and it was not at all good! Next came chilli baby corn and I experienced the worst chilli baby corn there..cheese kulcha was ok but only if it was hot and chiken Bharta was eat able but mutton korma was the worst thing we ever tried! It was not at all a good experience. .and will never visit this place again..NEVER!
