Review Subway - Howrah

This is the first time i ate at Subway , and surprisingly i found it very good in terms of pricing and quantity and taste. We ordered 1 BMT 1 Roasted chicken Sub 1 chicken teriyaki Why i am saying good because this burgers are big enough to make you feel good for the night, and the price is very reasonable if you compare it to, burger king or Mac or KFC, for this 3 burgers i have to pay something like 700rs we were 3 people. As usual the burger tasted the same, maybe a little bit less spicy, and you have the option to customise the whole burger, like which bread you want red/white, what topping and how much you want everything they will ask you before making it. So for me Subway is recommended. I am attaching few photos as well please check it. Thank you, soon i will post another review, till then stay safe and eat healthy.

Sandwiches assembled by Mr Farhan Ahmed are tasty.... The sauce combination... The well placed celery... The magical cheese... Wow... Plain Wow Although other employees are good, Mr F is the best. If you visit subway, ask for Mr F, he is the gem there.

This review is for the Subway which is on the ground floor of Avani mall. It has a small seating area and is pretty neat and tidy. Ordered a Chicken strip wrap which was served in 5 minutes. Tasted good with adequate filling. Great for a quick bite when you're hungry. The staff need to be more courteous.

Today was my first experience at the Subway and i can actually now say healthy food can be yummy...and for that all credit goes to the Subway. The outlet is situated just beside the Navina Cinema hall and beneath City High Apartments. This place is a real pocket friendly one and they also have wide variety of subs. Moreover they have a Sub of the day thing where they serve a special sub both in veg and nonveg and the size is 6" and it comes within Rs 130 and they also provide meals along with the sub only it requires Rs70 extra. Lasly, i loved my first experience at The Subway and i am definitely gonna visit them again...and its a great place for people looking for Tasty healthy food. So a big big thumbs up for Subway.

This is located at the food court of Avani mall. I had tried a kind of veggie delite sub from this outlet and it was tasty,with a lots of veggies.

When i saw that subway is open i was delighted to see that finally i can enjoy my favourite subs again after this long lock down. I ordered a toastie and a sub and wrap combo and i was really disappointed. The bread was all dried up and hard.. The veggies were not fresh.. It was stale. They missed lettuce and jalapeno. It was a disaster. My sunday lunch ruined completely. Please if you can't deliver fresh don't reopen the restaurant yet coz we are still paying a pretty good amount for the stale food that you guys are providing. I would suggest please avoid untill the lockdown is over

Subway is my go to fast food joint. Always a fan of their chicken tandoori sub and the add on delicious double chocolate cookies are my favorite part.... The best thing about subway is that you can customize sauces , fillings and breads according to your choice.. The staffs in the avani mall subway are extremely soft spoken and polite which makes it difficult in understanding and communicating properly.

Another food corner that serves decent snacks. I had the opportunity to enjoy the Veg shami sub which was good and so was the service alongside the staffs.<br/>Located on 4th floor but there is another in the first floor. Go in as you wish and cherish the taste of some a la carté all in all.

Recently ordered a Chicken Tikka Salad from Subway Avani Mall.<br/>I was always a regular customer of Subway because of the fresh ingredients that they use.<br/><br/>And the salads are value for money. The quantity is praiseworthy and filling and the packaging was done nicely too.

Sub was delicious! It was stuffed with generous amount of Veges, patty and sauce !!! fulfilling meal!

I try slice chicken salad with double cheese, all veggies and a coke. Mouthwatering, healthy breakfast. Looks very presentable. Service is very quick. Very much recommendable 👍

Last night we ordered 2burgers from subway,we added cheese slices( 24 rupees each).but they did not provide it,we ordered tandoori chicken burger,but some cubes of chicken sausages are there.We don't eat sausagess.They used a sauce which is highly salted.All total it was a horrible experience.

For the best subs go to this outlet or the one in cc2 in the food court. They make absolutely the best subs in town. I had the aaloo patty and the veg seekh sub and both of them were mouth watering and be ready to invite a lot of veggies in your mouth with the perfect taste of different sauces.

My go-to place whenever I feel the need for a quick but filling meal while I'm at the mall.<br/>The customisations on the subs are lovely, and the staff are friendly & courteous as well. 😊

I just had a request from subway, explain to me why are offers created in the first place because in my knowledge, it is to promote your product and increase your sale. But if you guys go this way during the offers I’m pretty much sure the opposite is going to happen. I mean subway is one of my favourite brands( if that’s what you can call it) after Dominos. I got pretty excited seeing the BOGO offer but all was thrown to drain when I had the first bite- the bread was stale (not the one I mentioned), less to almost no veggies that I mentioned, same was the case with sauces. It was like I have ordered a surprise package which really didn’t turn out pleasant. The order was done through Swiggy but I had to come here to make sure people don’t get in the same stupid trap. So subway, I’m not sure how much you gained from this but you surely lost a loyal customer today.

Thanks to this outlet, I now don't have to travel to other parts of the city for my sub. This is one of the two subway's in Avani mall, quick tip: Avoid the outlet on the ground floor, the one at food court makes it better.<br/>Only if they could open early for breakfast, I would have rated it a full 5. It's fresh generally and they obey the exact instructions.<br/>My regular breakfast place, hope they bring back the lower prices soon and a very good hot coffee 😔

Woerst restaurant, worst staff service, i hate this place, zomato should remove this outlet of subway as here the staff doesn't know how to talk to the customer.

This is first time we have experienced different in our favorite subway. I was standing in front of the non veg counter and looking for all the option available for us. When I request for 6 inch sub for my son the boy at the counter simply pointed towards the cash counter as he told me I have to pay first they they will entertain me. Oops. Is this the way subway treat their customer. I am sure this is not the way subway treat in all the counter I visit in kolkata and abroad also. They dont even ask me for any choice of double cheese or extra chicken. Even they does not give me any chance to select vegetables toppings in my sub. Lastly I told in my mind 😂 boss please come out from avani and visit any nearest subway counter in kolkata.

The sub was so tasty... i ordered turkey and chicken slice sub with honey oats bread and a veg wrap...like the concept of making your own sub...and the delivery was on time.

Nothing much to say about ambiance, taste since it is prototype. .<br/><br/>I like their taste , simplicity and variety. <br/>At Avani Riverside mall, I found the representative at counter was not very attentive and proper. Could be because of the type of crowd they usually handle at this locality. But they can be trained.

I love their concept of make you own sub,wherein u have the choice of selecting the bread bin,the veggies,the sauces of your choice,u can try all sorts of combinations and the sub served will be made infront of you.You can opt for veggies and sauces of you like and preference.The bun somehow I find it not very soft and it does not remains hot as other burgers and pattie sandwiches are.The drawback here is that the veggies are fresh and tasty but bland and not cooked so universally many people won't prefer raw veggies,there are no seasoning to be added.just the veggies and sauces and non veg items if ordering nonveg.The subs served are never hot,or may b it is not meant to be hot.I generally prefer my sandwich a bit hot and spicy with added seasoning.Overall it may be a bestseller for some but for me I would have it occasionall.To add to this please avoid the honey mustard sauce.

There was an offer going on at that time - buy one, get one free. The queue was quite long owing to the offer available.<br/><br/>Finally, when we got our turn, we ordered two #chicken_tikka and two #roasted_chicken subs. After placing the order, we went to the next counter where the person making sandwiches asked our preferences and any ingredient not to be added, either because of chances of allergy or dislike or whatever. The veggies added in the subs were fresh, the chicken portion was also freshly made. Overall, the subs were tasty.<br/><br/>Some may find the raw veggies here to be good with the sauces, while some may not because they might prefer cooked or fried veggies. But I must say that the subs served here are quite different than that found elsewhere. Hence, I would rather suggest to give this place a try. After having these subs, you might then understand what your preferences are.

Being a nonveg lover, i never thought that veggies can be this much tasty. After being here i started put more veggies in my recipes along with the nonveg items.

Okayish food. Its basically a takeaway joint. So you have to serve for your own. I think the food can be improved. Non veg subs are great veg subs are not that nice though.

Well had chicken tandoori salad which was fresh as always...ice berg lettuce was crunchy along wid fresh veggies...felt service was a bit slow as usual from dis outlet...

I don't find much of eating options at the food court , the subway outlet is one of the better ones . The newly introduced non veg SubWrap drew me here and at 81 rs including taxes , this wont fill you alone. Normal wheat tortilla wrap with lettuce and chicken Strips and scanty amount of vegetables along with some mayonnaise . The Sub of the day is anyday a better deal , the last time i tried the Chicken n ham slice was well made and sumptuous but chicken teriyaki remains my favourite of all , chicken tikka being second in the list.

Chiken Tikka was the sub of the day when I visited this outlet of Subway located in Avani Riverside Mall at food court. Where Akash took Roasted Garlic as the bread for his sub, I gone with the suggestion of Subway boy for Parmesan Oregano.<br/><br/>Subway is one of the very few burger shop offering bread options in India. Many people gets confuse about bread options. Simplifying it, if you want something healthy then go for Multi-Grain or if you want the tastiest among them then go for Parmesan Oregano or Honey Oat.<br/><br/>Coming to our Subs, Subway made it with perfection. They asked before adding each & every item with our preferences. With their high grain bread & fresh chicken & vegitables it tasted very lite, juicy & yammy especially for the sauces used.<br/><br/>Where every other restaurants in the mall selling junk foods, you can look for some healthy options in Subway. Rather than having a big fried patty, their sub with lots of vegitables like cucumbers bell peppers, lettuce, red onion, tomatoes is definitely healthier. Adding Jalapeno & black olives adds different flavours to it. Also everything felt fresh just like their tag line. But one thing to keep in mind is that their 6inch sub isn't that tummy filling.

I wanted to try a sub as i have never had it before. So i ordered a sub (forgot the name). Then they started talking about the special items and started forcing me to get add ons and when i said i did not want the extras they looked annoyed. So, to me the service was not so good. But the sub was good.

The subs are delicious as usual. The sub of the day is a huge opportunity for meal which would be light on your pocket. The cookies especially are real good. Chicken Teriyaki is an all time favourite of mine. Avoid the cucumber in the mix and you will be fine!

We ordered roasted chicken wrap which wasn't very good to taste. The order was served a little longer than what it should take and there was hardly any chicken in the wrap. We only found lettuce, jalapeno, cucumber, onion and tomatoes.

Subway is one of the best burger restaurants I have ever visited. They always prepare their food in front of customer which I like the most because it creates a transparency about the freshness of ingredients and everything used in it and it is very hygienic. <br/><br/>I love the chicken Tikka and chicken Ham the most <br/><br/>The staffs are well behaved and helpful <br/><br/>The place is well maintained and clean though the sitting place is less and the ambience is quite good . <br/><br/>It is very well being here and hope to visit again very quickly .

Firstly, I was in hurry and i wanted the delivery to be much faster than the supposed time. So, i had a talk with zomato and the delivery was done within 30mins. That was a great work done by both zomato and subway. Thank you people.<br/><br/>The sub was very tasty with double meat and parmesan oregano bread.

Subway- fresh as always.<br/>One of the best place for healthy fast food is Subway. They provide what they promise. Customizations is available without any extra cost which gives it a thumbs up from what other chains do. Talking about the Avani mall outlet its at the top in food court as well as Subway has another store at the ground floor too. I have been to the one in the food court. I am rating it 4.0 because of its lack of staff. They need to provide more people at the outlet because during a rush day it becomes tough for one guy or a girl to handle the situations. Coming to the food. They provide fresh food as always. You get choices in breads, veggies, sauces. There are two subs of different size 6 inch and 12 inch. I have never tried 12 inch one because 6 inch one is big enough to get your tummy full. The best sub of theirs according to me is turkey and chicken ham sub which costs Rs 193/- including all taxes. I have tried many of the subs, they are equally good as well but i love the turkey and chicken ham one. Definitely a must try, you won't regret, specially healthy food lovers.

Ordered a Mexican sandwich but the patty provided on it was a disaster .. not at all tasted good the patty was filled with beans but it was not what I was expecting .. it was completely different from what I had at other subway joint.. not satisfied

Subway is one of the popular food chain in India that are famous for their quick bite burger.<br/><br/>Located at the top floor i.e - Food Court of the Avani Mall, Howrah. It is a pretty big store but lack of stuffs. <br/><br/>When I went there to place my order, there was only one boy was there, who generate a bill, and customise my burger.<br/><br/>Quiet neat and clean counter and it has two different section for Veg or Non-Veg item. Service is fast and they asked you about your preferences of different toppings and sauces while they customise your burger.<br/><br/>I ordered Chicken Tikka Sub, which cost around 120INR, is pretty good in size. Well prepared but I somehow thing that chicken fillings were somehow less. They made my Sub in front of me with fresh cut and chopped veggies and non veg toppings. So no question remains regarding the freshness of the Sub. Overall a good experience.

My favorite. Healtht, tasty and a variety of choices. Subway is always a choice for me. This outlet is closest to my place so I've ordered a few times from them. The service is quick but staff is super rude. They always forget one thing or the other. Once they forget to send the cookie, once to add extra cheese and then some veggies.<br/><br/>Subway is one of my favorite food chains, but this particular branch has lost one regular customer now.<br/><br/>P.S. they won't even offer a refund or replacement for the items unsent.

Ooo me and subway had an affair alright!!!a crunchy saucy meaty with d breeze of freshness!!...thats subway I know a lot of people dont like subway..but they make d sandwiches I like my way...thats right the freash n right bread(oregano,french,multifrain in my case)....with d right amout of meat n cheese...trust me I tried extra meat one day fir the heck of it...o man that was a monster sub!!! The sauces which I go for spicy n just the right amount of mayo and 1 dominant sweet..n veggies...result a stuffed sandwich with meat crunchy veggies n sauce dripping all u gotta do is master the art of eating without a mess.....and this is my fav airport to on the flight food...hark this down with a drink and brownie....no matter what the destination is ARRIVE THERE HAPPY N FULL avoiding a high priced often pathetic food of the airliner.

One of the popular and healthier brands, where eating out regularly isn't considered a sin. Located in Avani Mall, had dropped in once. Tried the Roasted Chicken Sub, which was very well made. The  veggies were fresh, juicy and had a lovely crunch to it. Topping them with some of my favorite sauces, and it was a happy time altogether. The service was pretty fast as well.

A subway kiosk at the Avani riverside mall at Howrah. Was there on a friday so odrdered for the sub of the day which was chicken tikka sub and I customized it with some chicken seekh added in. My favourite honey musturd sauce along with some mid spicy sauces with cheese and maonise added to it. Brrad preferred was honey oats. Service was quite fast and the staffs are well behaved too.

I went there with my mother.We ordered chicken tandoori sub. I loved the way they prepared it in front of us.I would prefer subway more than kfc & McD. Pleasant experience!
