Review Al Madina Restaurant - Hubli-Dharwad

A very famous hotel in old hubli region which serves some lip smacking biryanis and kebabs it’s known for their excellent flavors and quality! My go to order here is chicken biryani, beef biryani, chicken kebab and pepper chicken is a no brainer. Prices are moderately reasonable!

I have listened to this place for its famous biryani and other foods.. I tried the Chicken Biryani here, The taste was unique and very good , The soft and fluffy rice had a great aroma, The chicken inside was better marinated and cooked to smooth es... Foody and Biryani lovers must visit and enjoy the biryani here...

Nice ambience and good crowd. Food is really good with a wide range of dishes. Quantity is good and prices are moderate. Only negative part is they don't have options for beverages other than aerated drinks. There is a good pan stall at the entrance as well.

Delicious food with excellent service. I had the chicken biryani which was flavorful and chicken tender. The manager gave me a free desert ball :). Everyone worked together to understand my English. I also ordered a chicken tandoori to go. Highly recommend!!

Al madina is an old restaurant which grew along with Hubli city apparently. The location is convenient, nearby railway station and bus stand. The ambience of the place is great for both quick bite eaters and family dining as well. The menu has a wide range of varieties and gravy dishes are decent in any meat. Their bread options are also very good and the Ceylon Paratha is quite a revelation. Their biryani is very bland and unique in their own style. Shwarma is ok. Overall, it's a must try place for meat lovers if you are in Hubli. Parking is pain at this place, apart from that you'll get good food here.

One of the oldest restaurants in Hubli, famous for dum biryani, over the years, they have mastered the art of biryani making. However, they need to improve on service and customer service.

Biryani was absolutely delicious,one of the best biryani I have had till now. We also had kabab it was tender and juicy. Chilli chiken was also cooked to perfection. Highly recommended this place. We stopped in this place when we were driving back from Goa to Bangalore

The food at Al Madina restaurant is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. I love the service at the place and the owner is so friendly with the guests and always takes care to offer the best quality! I highly recommend this place.

If you are non veg lover and this is the place in Hubli with low menu price.. Nicely maintained.. Parking for four wheeler is also available.. you need to ask for it.. all good here. In fact the whole street is meant for non veg.. They have separate party hall for small function. AC hall is also attached to the same function hall..

I will give Five Stars for Al Madina. It is quite a big restaurant, very spacious but architecturally belongs to a bygone era, as it’s paraphrase says, “Since 1980”. Flooring, tables, chairs are all telling age, just like a typical Hubli Building. However the atmosphere was endearing with aroma from the incense was fragrancing the entire premises, which imparts a better feeling, instantaneously once you enters the building. No flies around, no bad smell. Appears neat and clean too. I have savoured succulent Mutton Biriyani from the restaurant. And I never had such tasty biriyani in the recent past. Ordered for half for Rs. 240/- sufficient for a person. Rice was nicely cooked, with no stickiness or oil, with yellow to golden and white rice. Masala is very mild with almost five average sized mutton pieces. Mutton was beautifully cooked to excellence and it was so soft and juicy. With the gravy (think it’s tomato and onion) biriyani was just another level. Always recommend.

I am a frequent traveller. Visited hubballi yesterday and had lunch here. TRIED their biryani. ExCellent dishes. Their biryani is truly awesone. Mr waseem owner is courteous and attentive. A must try place for families.

One of the best place to have biriyani in Hubli,it's also called as biriyani king of Hubli !I have visited it a lot more times ,I especially order biriyani (Chicken and mutton) most time !if you people are in Hubli by any chance,please don't mind to have biriyani here !! thank you

Came for the special biriyani here and the food had met our expectations. They said the special is beef and we had gone for it. Well cocked beef with bone is used for biriyani. Not too much spicy.
