Review Golconda Pavilion - Hyderabad

Anup Rai
Celebrated my wife's birthday along with the family at Golconda Pavillion restaurant in ITC Kohenur. They offer both buffet as well as a-la-carte option, we opted for the latter. They were kind enough to get a complimentary birthday cake. We were attended at the table by Monica who was very very courteous as well as humble. She suggested us the best food options, served them well and on time. She also took my 10 month old daughter with her for a brief tour of the hotel so that we could finish our dinner comfortably. The manager Mr. Karan was kind enough to get his team wish my wife a Happy Birthday and click a photo with us. There's always this perception about restaurants in 5-stars being way too expensive, but we were pleasantly surprised when we got our final bill. So, I would definitely recommend you to visit it once.

I had an exquisite experience at Golconda Pavillon with an exceptional buffet menu! The variety of dishes offered was impressive, and the dessert options were simply divine – a paradise for any sweet tooth. The ambiance was delightful, enhancing the dining experience. My only minor disappointment was the limited juice options. Nonetheless, the overall culinary journey was outstanding, leaving me eager to return for more delightful flavors! Highly recommended for a luxurious and delectable retreat.

This is in the ground floor of ITC Kohenur. Restaurant is pretty big and spacious. Spread is large here. You can find all sorts of food right from starters to main course to deserts. There are so many options available here. Some new and exotic items are also present. It is very hygienic and clean. Service is amazing. Definitely recommended 👌

Went here for the lunch buffet on a Friday with family. The staff did not accomodate us near the pool side mentioning that it was reserved even though that entire side of the restaurant was empty. The food is what you expect in a buffet styled theme. There is a live chat counter but with limited choices. The naan and breads are freshly made but can be better , some of them were heavily dripping in butter. The dessert section definitely stands out with atleast 10+ varities. Ambience is good and the service is attentive. Definitely need to add juices or soft drinks to the buffet, for something this expensive I was surprised that there is nothing available.

Awesome food and hotel. But taxes are too much. Thanks, Zain from Expertini Properties.

Went here for dinner with my cousins. Loved the ambience above anything, the glass interiors and lighting and everything was just so flashy. You might as well get blinded on some occasions 🤣 Now coming to the food, we ordered: Korean Rice Bowl Cheese Bacon Pasta with Garlic Bread Kasundi Prawns Tiramisu Cake Chivas Regal 60 ml on The Rocks 2 types of cocktails whose names I can't recollect The drinks were pretty good, with the vibe and light Bengali music to celebrate Poila Baishakh, it hit nicely. The bacon pasta was good, nicely cooked, very balanced in taste and with the garlic bread complimented each other very well. Korean rice bowl could've been better. The Chicken nuggets with that and Kimchi and Poach went really well together. The sticky rice also had a pleasant flavour and overall gave a very calming and soothing touch to the mouth. But it felt a bit too bland at times. I expected better from the Kasundi Prawns. The mustard flavour was there but quite faint. Plus the quantity was pretty disappointing. Given the price and simplicity of this dish, we expected much better quantity for three people. Tiramisu cake was probably the best. of the lot. Very fresh coffee flavour to go with it and highly creamy and smooth. It was very easy on the mouth and had a very calming effect on me. Service felt very much on the slower side. The rush was not so great either and with quite a big workforce, we expected a bit more promptness in the delivery of the dishes and the billing procedure. Good place to visit once in a while. Tbh it's not very extraordinary but just visit here once for the experience.

I went there for team lunch. It was a good experience. The property is spacious and lunch spread is mouth watering. The interiors look grand. While the continental food is good, also including the experimental millet dosa which was delicious, but the desi chaats and dahi vada are not up to the mark. That was disappointing. But definitely worth visiting for the lavish pampering of your taste buds to the continental food and deserts.

Experience : The ambience, music, setup, everything is a touch of luxury and you'll feel welcomed, the place is very happening and the hosts are warm & welcoming. The chefs and waiters are frank & you'll enjoy a lot here. Ambience is worth mentioning 👌 Food : in Buffet they have wide range of starters & Very good main course. If you are a vegetarian this place is for you. Every veg item is extremely delicious & you'll love it. I enjoyed the tofu noodles, paneer curry & mushroom curry. But for non vegetarians this place might not be for you. Overall a humble experience & totally worthy, must visit ❤️

Having dinner at ITC on December 31 was a pleasant experience. The food was good, however for the money we paid, there weren't many options. Dumplings and Thai curry were delicious. The biryani was ok. To put it mildly, there aren't many appetisers at the buffet, which is quite disappointing. I hope they enhance what they have to offer

Lovely. GP is one of the premium buffets of the city. Located in the ITC Kohenur space, the restaurant offers a good variety of yummy foods to select from. Tasty food & swanky ambience will make your time worth it. Staffs are not friendly, I must say. Although it's priced highly, it's worth a visit if you have a deep pocket.

I literally loved each and every single corner of this place. The architecture is soo amazing that I just cannot put it in words. They treat customers as God❤️

If you are looking for a well sanitized restaurant to dine in, try this place!
Clean and the staff took all the measures to ensure the safety of the customers. I ordered
The Classic Peperoni Pizza and Sunday Chicken Roast with mashed peas wilted peas. The chicken was juicy and cooked to perfection. Mushroom sauce was a good contrast to the chicken.

Average covid safety protocol in the restaurant, very poor service, cold and below average food. A half hearted sorry when we complained. Washrooms not contact less, no hand soap in the dispensers, and the cherry on the cake was that we were supposed to self park and the only lift to the parking lot was out of order and there are no stairs. So we walked down the slopes forever to get to our car. Promise to never come back

Went for team lunch today. Nice ambience. Very nice salad and desert counter. There’s wide spread option in salad and desert. In main course found options to be very less. Veg options are many compared to non veg. Quality wise they are the best. Liked every single dish in the buffet menu.

Been here for brunch. This place has a wide spread. The taste is good. I tried ramen at lot of places but this place has good soupy noodles which tastes like it. Biryani is good. I felt the arrangement is kind of clumsy for a big place like that. The drinks were not so great. Everytime i ordered and was waiting for my drink, nobody bothers to care. Also they dint have some stuff required to make cocktail, when asked they suggested for a different drink. It never gave me that brunch feel as there is no outdoor seating or even the poolside unlike most of the other 5-star hotels and 7-star hotels. They wont even have access to see the surroundings of this place.
Overall not a very great experience for brunch. Its like any other buffet places down the street except for the widespread.

We went in for biryani looking at the reviews, ended up going for the main course. It was a very wise decision. Relished and loved every bit of it except the Indian main course. The biryani is not upto the mark and too bland with only saffron flavor oozing.

We went for a team dinner, The entrance lobby and reception was too Grand and the view was amazing. The hospitality of the staff was good. Coming to food - Food has a unique and amazing taste, though sushi was somthing which I don't like at all. The hummus and baba ganoush were out of the world and salads were amazing. Infact it was the first time I got too know salads can also be a good part of the buffet menu.😋 Desserts are too good, specially the moong dal ka halwa. Seating arrangements and ambience were again the positives of this place. No negatives I could see, but valet service can be a bit more better.

Great Ambience and taste. Lacks south indian cuisine.

Was staying at ITC Kohenur for a week hence used to visit Golconda Pavilion for breakfast everyday. First of the place is majestic, with beautiful interiors and lovely swimming pool view. Coming to food they had a huge spread which included all the items staring from local dishes like Idlis, Upma & parathas to complete English breakfast items. I personally loved their Aloo Paratha, Egg Curry & French Toast. The filter coffee is a must have here as it tastes amazing and is equally refreshing. The service was good, my server Sagar was always polite and helpful. The presence of flies on the donuts in the bakery section was the only major disappointment hence the four stars else everything else from food to service was superb.

The chicken by Sunday with the jus was outstanding. I felt like I have walked into master chef kitchen. Need to work upon the almond milk coz if it will be bit sweet that it can be amazing. All the best team.

The ambience of this is very appealing and the staff is courteous as expected from the ITC brand. We chose this place for a private dinner but it failed to live up to its expectations. The place was extremely crowded, they took at least 20min to even arrange for a table for 2. Then half the items in the buffet were over, the staff kept consoling us that refilling was in progress but no one even informed whether the same was done. The experience we had while dining at the other restaurants in ITC was far better than this one. Hopefully, this was just a one-time experience.

Highly disappointed. This is the 2nd time I am going here with a little hope that my 1st time opinion would change but unfortunately it remains the same. This is probably the worst buffet I ever had. The food was cold, the rice was dry, they were not much varieties offered in the starter section. Well they did change the temperatures after informing them but come on you are going here for good experience, if we have to point out about everything then I might have as well done it at home. The manager was kind enough to bring in new stuff but I was really not happy with the taste. They have wide variety of desserts which not many five star buffets offer.
Subhasis Saha
It was a nice experience. The pork ribs were nicely cooked so was the ghee roasted chicken. Helpful staffs. Nice high-end service and food. Thank you.

Each and everything was tasty here like literally everything.. had so many varieties for starters , salad..loved it, worth the visit. Ambience was appealing and service was also very good.😍
5/5 for everything
PS I am a vegetarian and non veg people did have some complaints

I highly recommend it!
A special mention and many thanks to Zoheb Mehmood and chef Manoj ... they are exceptional in taking care of their guests !

Itc kohenur is the Grand hotel and it holds the brand value for what itc stands for... Grand entrance the corridor was amazing.

I went for lunch. Ambience was perfect. Lunch spread for buffet was not that amazing for me. Plenty of options for desserts. But since I didn't like that much starters in nonveg section so I decide to go for Ala carte.

So, went with Ala carte and service was exceptional. Ambience was pleasing and presentation was great.

Hygiene and cleanliness was also very good. Taste was good. Little pricey but that's the trend to pay extra for luxury dining.

Overall a great experience. Sharing few pics below. Recommend to all.

Ambience 5/5
Food 4/5
Taste 4/5
Service 5/5
Hygiene 5/5
Value for money 4/5.

Honestly reading the reviews I thought to try this place. But was a bit disappointed. Though, they have a decent spread spread across continental, indian, salads and desserts for dinner and a decent one for breakfast as well, the taste is just decent. I expected it to be the finest, but trust me you will get much good food around.
The service was a big disappointment which made my visit even more stressful. Had to ask so many times for small things. At first place its hard to trace them. Don't expect for this star of a hotel to have basic service limitations like giving over my seat to someone else while I was up for starters, taking almost 30 mins for an omelette that too asking them so many times. Really a let down.
Price is 1600 plus taxes for a dinner buffet.

********

OVERALL

FOOD. 3.5/5
SERVICE. 1.5/5
AMBIENCE. 4/5
COST WORTHINESS. 2/5
HYGIENE. 4/5

Veg starters were cold and tasteless.Apart from mushroom starter couldnt find a starter to try.
Not a place to visit for vegetarians

Right from the fresh and healthy salads to starters to mains and then ending with great dessert, food was spot on ! Add to it the pleasant ambience. Shrimp salad and kasundi fish salad were my favourite pick. Cream of mushroom soup was delicious.
Coming to starters, Fried fruits and golkonda chicken deserve a special mention. Cajun prawns could have been a bit less spicy though. Peri peri chicken was decent . There were lot other dishes good in taste.
Mains were equally good. Rara mutton stood out as great flavoured curry with juicy and succlent well cooked mutton. Country chicken has good Andhra flavour. Mutton biryani was decent though rice seemed tad bit overcooked. Mains surprised me ,usually i skip it . Coming to dessert, tiramisu is definitely the best pick. Indian desserts were good too. I would rate is 4.5 /5
One of best buffet in hyd.

I visited this place for a team lunch recently. Ambience is awesome. From glittery marble coloumns, floor and the round shaped ceilings with decorations to the cutlery and furniture everything gave this place a plush and modern vibe.

Food was also good here. Starters mainly fish and something made from potato(forgot the name) was liked by most of people in our team. Biryani was also good here. Being a sweet tooth, I mainly focus on desserts in any buffet and I did the same here. It had a variety of desserts to choose from out of which Tiramisu impressed me most here. Another good picks were moong dal halwa and chocolate mousse.

Staff was welcoming and served everything with a smile. However, they took some time to serve the breads given the crowd was less that day. Another thing which was different here is that desserts and one more section (where sushi was placed) required a staff member for servings as they are like shop counter and you can't take items on your own. I didn't see any staff at sushi counter. There was only one attendee at dessert counter which was causing crowd there as it takes time to serve everyone naturally. One room of improvement I can think here is that staff at these counters should be trained to tell some info about things they are serving. For example, in my case, i asked about details of each and every dessert but he was able to give information only for common desserts which most of the people knows.

Ambience: 5
Food: 4
Service: 3

I really loved the starters especially prawns and the fish.. even the pasta was yummy, mutton biryani was ok.. best to the cost.

This was probably my third visit at the Golconda Pavilion and each time they deliver beyond our expectations.
I absolutely love their food and hospitality.
I chose to pick a steak from the A-la-carte menu, on Mr Zoheb's recommendation, and it was nothing less than scrumptious. Everything was on point, right from the presentation of the chicken crumb fried breast, the tangy tomato sauce and an amazing side of sautĂŠed veggies and mashed potato.
This is a must try!
A big shout out to "Chef Akash" for his creation.

I have visited this place last year in November 2018 with one of my company Director.

Ambiance, courteous service & professional staff. Food!! Food is awesome, I have sea food stater. Main course butter roti with Chicken curry. I liked the way they garnish the food. It was nice experience. I will visit again personally to taste the similar type of sea food from Golconda Pavilion 😃..!!!
I wanted to take my best half out for a grand dinner on her birthday, I chose The Golconda Pavilion at ITC Kohenur for it, I am glad I made that choice!

From the time I first called the hotel to the time we left after our meal - everything worked like a red carpet, we experienced white glove service from start to end. They were kind enough to gift a really pretty bouquet to my wife, and had a cake ready for us as celebration. Our 14 month old infant was also kept in good cheers by the staff around.

The buffet was setup exquisitely and had a very eloquent and eclectic mix of cuisines and varieties, the dessert spread was the proverbial cherry on the top. I would like to call out a few individuals for the care and attention they had on us when we were there and through the entire experience - Mr. Zoheb Mahmood, Mr. Madan and Mr. Kapil - they made it one of the best evenings we have had so far.

ITC Kohenur is definitely a place worth visit, even more so with these folks who ensure things are precisely the way one wants it.

We went for my husband’s birthday celebration. The food was just average! Deserts weren’t upto the mark and especially the staffs were really rude! In all I expected it to be amazing as it’s ITC but was disappointed. Ambience was at par ITC standards but nothing else.
Yogi Raj
The staff at entrance was welcoming. The set up is just fine, somehow the reception and restaurants staff (golkonda pavilion and ottimo) didn't seem much interested in entertaining guests. They seemed making too much effort to smile and most of them didn't even smile. Not sure if the hotel is designed specially trained to favor white skinned guests or it's general arrogance or something else. Food options, although was quite widespread, the taste was about average. Deserts were a disappointment for sure. Westin has far better taste and hospitality is a notch above. Novotel hospitality goes higher even though taste for some cuisines may not live upto it.

We had a Sunday brunch, priced at 2000 per person and 2300 with alcohol.

The serving staff was quite friendly and courteous. Manager seemed particularly annoyed since begining at the Pavillion, while paying the bill he also displayed severe rush that he almost snatched the swipe machine from his colleague. Not the kind of behavior you expect in a 5 star hotel.

Anyway, we wanted to experience Kohenoor, as it stands as a signature building in Hitech City area. It failed miserably to impress I must say, having experienced ITC in multiple cities.

This won't be my regular place for sure, may one time experience, or not .

Very beautiful place to go on a lovely dinner date. The ambiance was amazing, food was good, and a wide variety to choose from the buffet menu. 😊

Food is average - Lot of scope for improvement
Ambiance is good
Service should be improved - the team were busy with their work and we need to wait for anyone to be available and respond

Went for dinner buffet. Good one. Quite a spread - from multiple cuisines. The best were starters/appetizers. I loved the Sushi there by the way. The main course was great too. The next time, I want to go to Dum Pukht.

Visited this place for an official team dinner and trust me this place will amaze you with the vibe and charm it has to offer. Truly a luxurious place and each of us should experience atleast ones.
It defines how the fine and luxurious dining should be. Mesmerized by the decor and was awestruck to see the lighting and classy furniture.

Buffet spread was huge! Not even exaggerating but I couldn't even complete 50% of it. And to clear the myth the food here was delicious. As we all might assume that places like this, might compromise with quality but in golconda pavilion the food was on spot.

When it comes to food the starters will not disappoint you. For me starters are the key factor and again it was bang on. Tried fish, chicken and few veg items. And liked each of them.

Main cours: I like sea food and was happy to see prawns curry in the menu. It was delicious. And tried biryani aswell.

And the most important and my favourite part.
Desserts : The dessert section was huge and it was the perfect end to my dinner.

Overall experience was brilliant. Ambiance is so beautiful that you can't stop admiring.
Visited this place for team dinner. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful here. We got completely drenched due to rain on the way. On request we were given special access to the spa to dry ourselves. Special shout out to Sneha who helped us throughout.
Talking about the food, was delighted to see the beautiful buffet spread with the vast variety. Of all, loved the starters (fish cake) , salad spread, chicken pulao and the the best of all desserts. Overall, great experience, would definitely visit again.

We went to this place on 28th july 2019. Zomato showed 2000 for 2 people. When we went there after dining it was 2000 per person. Also the food is not so great if u are vegetarian. The same quality you would get in ABs for much lesser cost. This could be mistake from zomato or from ITC in displaying the cost incorrectly. In my opinion a person should know and decide based on correct information and should not be deceived by wrong data.

I have been to all the outlets at the Kohenur and I think this is one place where I guess I over expected. Yes the buffet is very elaborate and they serve global cuisine . There are a few standards that one expects from a Hotel of this magnitude. Being an ITC their major forte is Indian and Mughlai. I don't know what went wrong on that day but we were a group of 8 major foodies from Delhi and Hyderabad , we felt nothing was outstanding. Their Mutton Dum Biryani which well is Lip smacking in Kakatiya was quite a let down. The choice of menu that day was very disappointing. Given the way the hotel is made and the brand value of the group I think the Food & Beverage management should seriously consider an overhaul in their menu, taste and their presentation. I hope this review is taken in a positive way!

We went to this place for a team outing and I must say I was really happy to see the spread and loved some of the things 🥰

Things I loved:

Paneer tikka ( if it's not there please ask the chef to make it for you)
Pasta
Potato crisps
Cheese filled balls( LOVED IT)
THE BEST TIRAMISU I have ever had!

I went with my team for lunch. Place ambiance is good but not as good as Westin and Olive Bistros.Food variety is way too less in Buffet. Main course has just one NonVeg dish and 2 veg Dish. Biryani is more like Pulav. In addition to that starters are very much mediocre and no better option. I wouldn't go there again considering I have much better option nearby. I would like to give much lesser star rating but there is no option fir that.
Kavitha Ramachandran
Hi I am rating this restaurant as 2star because bad experience I had. I went with my in-laws to have a lavish luxury dinner and what we came across was a rat running on the dishes. Although the restaurant staff apologised to us and even didn't charge us for food, but this kind of experience is not something we look for in a 5star luxury hotel.
A Rat running open on the dishes is so unhygienic and might result in food poisoning for whole of my family. Hope the restaurant takes care in the future.

Also, not to mention bad service where the restaurant took 15-20 mins in just bringing some Indian breads.

I am only writing this because this kind of service we do not expect from the restaurants like these.

Great spread and excellent service! been there for a dinner on a weekday. the spread is vast and the food is absolutely finger licking! decent charge for the buffet! one of the best spreads for a vegetarian! encompasses continental and indian cuisine! try their paneer, pumpkin soup and hummus! every dish was made top notch! special mention and thanx to snehita who attended to our table! must visit place anyone who wishes to eat heartily!

Visisted this place for an official team lunch. One of the best places for buffet visited till date.

Food was really good.
Needless to say about the ambience. Liked the live food counters.

Of all
Walnut raitha - Quite unique and tastiest raitha's ever had till date.
Sushi was good.

Coming to desserts, all of them are really nice. Pot de Cream was the best of all, really liked it. When ever i visit a buffet place its always the desserts that steal the show.

Overall it was great experience..

I had lunch at Golconda Pavilion 4 times in last 7-8 months and while ambience and cleanliness is top notch, service and food quality has been coming down with every visit. My last visit few days back, I was told they will not serve soups and starters at the table and guests need to pick them up unlike earlier visits. First time I encountered this at a hotel which is branded luxury. When asked for tea, an almost empty tea pot was brought to the table and again we had to wait to get a fresh one.

Coming to food, almost all starters including fish, chicken were cold. When this was pointed out, they brought luke warm ones to the table. Main course was just ok and not worth 1500 they charge.

Bottom line, not worth visiting if food and service do not improve as there are several good options if you are ready to spend 1500 for buffet.

Excellent experience at the Golconda Pavilion. Was lucky enough to try the Sunday Brunch. Great Spread. Excellent Service. Outstanding Desserts. Value for money to the core. Thanks to Zoheb, Mukesh and Team, made me feel like at food paradise.

Before I proceed, don’t miss the video on Insight of ITC Kohenur at my blog - atoneplaceonline.com or my Instagram account - @mrsfoodieglobetrotter

LOCATION

Located in Hitec City, ITC,Kohenur got Durgam Cheruvu lake on one side and the city’s business district on the other. It is considered as one of the ITC Hotels “Luxury Collections”.

AMBIENCE

For our team outing lunch we zeroed down to visit Golconda Pavilion, one of their fine dining restaurants which serves multi-cuisines. Two things that caught my eyes as I entered, there is elegancy at every corner and every corner gives you the vast sky view.
Luckily we got one such corner that too with a pool view. After soaking into the aesthetics for few good mins, we headed to the salad and starters sections.

SALADS & APPETIZERS

In salads, we got from shrimptahini marinated shrimp to herb roasted chicken to curd fish to paprika lamb cauliflower salads. Thinking of them, makes me go drooling. Coming to starters, varities were more of fish,a little of chicken and few veg starters of potato, eggplant, zucchini and paneer. The best part was mostly all of them were either baked / grilled. But what came as dissappointing was that many of the starters were cold.

MAIN COURSE

Next we went for the main course. It got some mouth watering sides mainly in veg and a lesser in non veg. Biriyani was also available. Spinach corn was the best combo for me with the hot roti served live.

DESSERTS

It’s said that all well that ends well. But our ending was not so good. Dessert section highly dissapointed us. First of all you can’t pick up the dessert of our choice. You have to ask the staff to provide you. And now there were customers and staff in the ratio of 10:1 . So being only one staff we had to wait a long to get 2/3 desserts there too the lady who was serving didn’t showed any courtsey. So I was able to take only 3 desserts – baked youghurt, flourless cake and litchi verine. Taste wise though three of them satisfying and unique.

VERDICT

GolcondaP brought satisfaction to eyes with it’s elegancy but failed to bring satisfaction when it comes to food.

FYI: Lunch buffet costs INR 1300 exclusive of taxes.

My first experience was good but my experience today over lunch was awesome. The hot and sour soup was good. They had a good variety of salads. The starters were good and hot. The mutton biryani was delicious and the desserts as usual was awesome, especially the caramel proline icecream. The staff was very courteous and cheerful.

Farazdak Nasrulla
9949673786

I went there under a package of hotel stay , buffet lunch , dinner (at any restaurant of ITC) and breakfast.
We had the buffet lunch in Golkonda Pavilion.Ambience- GoodFood- above Average (mutton dum biriyani was delicious, prawns were good in the starters.
Staff behavior- very GoodThey have a decent spread but the problem is locating what is where.
I did not know where the starters were kept (in the left side corner) until I actually asked a staff.Over all I had a good experience and would recommend. Also, pricing is also very less for a 5 star.
Unfortunately I over slept next day so could not have the breakfast, so can't comment on it.

* the telephone operators in ITC need to be better trained, they have absolutely no idea how to talk to a customer, you will feel like they are showing unnecessary attitude on the phone. However staffs at the reception were very courteous.

This was was truely oozing charm and freshness and everything seemed just freashly done but with a twist and in my case it was double billing. Yes they billed me twice and after 3 days of calling n sending bank statements have not responded well.

But here let's talk food and service.

There wasn't anyone at the bakery section whenever we approached n we do pick a pastry in beginning because the child sometimes feels overwhelmed with the many tastes. Non of the pastries we tried were good, 5 of them to be precise were all sugary n lacked class.

Salads were many n I should say the star attraction for me among all sections. They were freash n innovative. There was mulburry (shehtoot) too and as adults we simply love love love it.
Soups lacked any innovation but we can forgive that. Chineese was not worth mentioning at all. There were multiple breads for bread lover but I am not.

We also tried sushi... n my Korean friend mentioned it to.be average n also asked for fresher wasabi but guess it wasn't available but that's understandable for 5 stars is it. For me the same wasano was quite potent to get funes out of my nose n ears. I loved the experience for sushi alone and that's why the 1 star.

Italian was tucked away in a corner but it looked pretty n I just tried the baked corn Spanish which was banging. Next time I'll try more Italian.

No live counters but some starters were made fresh but even at 1pm they were all stacked full n not replenished as the.guests were few. Kasundi fish was the best in those 5 dishes.

Then comes Indian... which was not labeled correctly to start with and lacked the punch in any of the dishes. Briyani was not worth trying n the mutton.in it was like boiled.

Service : more people after the lunch time finished rather than when service was going on. They don't bother to pick used plates.but suddenly you go to get your son washed n your plate full.of food vanishes.
They don't mention what drinks are.included in the buffet Be cause some types of coffee are.
They also don't offer finger bowl when you ask for washroom but when you insist they get a stylish version of it.

If someone is wondering how I ate soo much so please note that me n my husband love tasting food n we try bite sizes of most things and I did try all the 4 hummus but they too lacked depth.

Hoping for better food next time but I am surely not returning or suggesting my friends. Just incase anyone wants to check authenticity of my reviews then call me at 8790002006
Been here for a team lunch. The place promises to amaze you from the moment you step in till you step out of the exit door. Its truly a luxourious hotel and one must experience such place atleast once.

We took buffet over here. Inetially we ordered two mocktail pitcher(berry bomb and litchi lemonade) which was about 699+taxes per each. And this was no mistake done, as the mocktail quantity and quality was spot on. I personally liked berry bomb. And then coming to food section, you will find moderate collection of non-vegetarian and vegetarian starters and salads at the entrance . I thought the salad collection was decent with fish and prawn salads placed and the vegetarian people can equally enjoy glazed blue berrys, sweet corn, baby tomato's and so on so forth. Then i had veg noodles along side with pepper fish fry wet which were promising. The top two things in the starters were golconda chicken fried with chilli sause and the tawa paneer. We had mutton biriyani which had too much salt and not much chilli added in it. Mutton texture of the biriyani was amazing. And the chicken curry was as well too salty and it had no chilli in it. Dessert part this place can win hands down, as they have decent amount of ice cream categories, raj bhog, pannacotta, cheese cake, tiramisu, Choco mousse, caramel cake and so on so forth. We really enjoyed being here and at the exit door there will be free candies placed which i didn't had any idea about. The staff was great being at service. Slow at times but well trained. A little expensive on price part. Overall we had a good time being here and thouroughly enjoyed food excluding little hiccups.

Ambience: 5/5
Service: 4.5/5
Food: 4/5
Value for money: 3.5/5

I have been planning to visit this place from long time. And finally made it last week with my husband and my months old baby. We went with a mindset that the food in the star hotels would be bland and definitely expensive and hoping that our baby will enjoy the ambience atleast. But to our surprise,we enjoyed the food a lot.It was such a wonderful experience that 3 of us had our own time enjoying and having a relaxing dinner.
Special mention to the starters and the desserts section.
Both the veg and non veg starters were good.
Mushrooms, potatoes ,prawns, chicken and fish are few to mention. They served us hot food and it was yummy :)
Main course was as usual and we had it little as we wanted to cover the desserts section as much as possible.. :P
In Desserts, I tried all of them and they are just Awesome. Tiramisu is to die for.. I had four tiramisu straight away. Mango n cream was also good. There was some mango fest going on and there were desserts based on mango.
Also, special mention to Aam Panna which was nice.
Overall it was a very good experience 😊👍
And yes.. Ambience was just Perfect.. The interiors were very well designed..

I gave 4 stars for the obvious reason which is COST.
We paid 2200 per person.

Cheers
Pri
Went for team lunch. The buffet was awesome. I liked everything from salad, starter, main course and desert. I really liked the main course and garlic naan they served.

Had huge expectations, but thumbs down.
Unless you go with buffet, you don't have much options to choose from menu - alacarte.
If you are veggie you hardly find anything to choose from.
Went there for a birthday dinner Ambience 5/5 , Service 5/5 coming to variety of food and taste was disappointed for vegetarians there was very limited option they just had two paneer dishes one Tikka which was too spicy and tasteless and panner butter masala that was bland.Staters had too many potato dishes even in desert they had few options without egg. Even the tomato soup was tasteless. That need to improve there vegetarian spread it only had various types of potatoes, the baby corn was just tasteless.Food wise 2/5.

I visited the place for my team lunch. It was a great place to dine. Loved the ambience, hospitality, and services. The tastes of the food was good - loves the Kadhai Paneer and the samosa. I also loved the desserts section - there was wide variety right from beetroot halwa to so many variants of ice creams. The view inside the hotel is amazing especially the pool side view of the Inorbit mall. It was a worth place to go with friends, family or your special ones. Just one thing to call out for both the hotel and the ones planning to visit soon - there is very limited options in Vegetarian section. I just wish there could be more options in veg too.

But overall I would rate 4/5.

Thanks for great hospitality!

One of the best buffers in Hyderabad. A huge spread and the luxury experience of Kohenur adds up. I loved the salads, the starters and the deserts the most. Tried the sushi but not my cup of tea. Go with your family for a nice evening and guess what is it not that expensive as it looks.

Right from the entrance till we step out we could feel the luxury in every corner of the overall property, Golconda pavilion is very well designed with amazing interiors, very cozy colour combinations, buffet has a very wide range of food options with a proper explanation of the dish along with the alergents just to caution if we are allergic to any of the foods, taste, quality and authenticity of the food is simply amazing as ITC know for it always, service smile, body language and attire were very well polished, over all it's a very great dining experience at Golconda pavilion.
5 stars only for Hospitality and Ambience.
Visited here for Saturday dinner.
It was our marriage anniversary.
There were 3 types of Cuisines in the buffet. Indian, Chinese and Continental+Desserts.
Chinese was okay. Continental is not my cup of tea and Indian cuisine is worst. Desserts tasted average with very limited options. Food is not worth a single penny at all. The only reason I'm compelled to give a 5 star is because of hospitality. They really took great care from the start till the end.

The ambience and the service was great but somehow felt both the weekday lunch buffet and the Sunday brunch were not upto the ITC standards both the spread and the taste!!! I feel for the same price there are better buffet offerings in other star hotels....

This place is fab👌. This Being a part of ITC hotel, you can expect it to be luxurious. We entered the hotel campus, Valet took our cars. Restaurant had the same enterance of the main hotel. Ambiance was just awesome. We went for dinner and There was no waiting time. We had option of buffet and ala car te, we went for the second option as we were not that hungry. Staff was very well dressed and their service was too good. When we asked for today specials, Main chef came and suggested us their specials. From starters, to main course to dessert , every thing was full of taste. We enjoyed cream and berries desert a lot, you should try it. Lil overpriced, which you can expect from this kind of place, but definitely worth a visit.

Confusion regarding the price, I have been reaching out to the restaurant for last few months, and they have not rolled out any corporate discounts!

Service is average, food options and taste is below average. Staff is careless, I had to point out dirt on glasses before they agreed to replace it.
We went to Golconda Pavilion restaurant at ITC Kohenur to celebrate my parents wedding anniversary, and I must say the food there is excellent. We had the lunch buffet and they not just have an extensive spread, but each of the dish is distinctly flavorful and delicious.
The staff is extremely courteous and attentive. Our server Shreeom went out of his way to get my father some sugarfree desserts on request.
All in all, a memorable experience and totally worth the money!

A great place if you have to money to spend. Good buffet with great choices from starters to main course and desserts..

Location and Ambience -5/5
Inside ITC Kohenur on the ground floor, very easy to access right opposite inorbit mall.
Great Ambience with premium decor and interiors. Nice place to have a nice dinner with family or on special occasions.

Food -5/5
The food is great with good number of choices in the buffet. The prawns tempura was great. The chicken with thyme and the fish was nicely done. To my surprise the Mutton biryani was very good unlike such 5 star places where a lot of rose flavours are used. The prawns curry was a highlight in itself. Coming to desserts the Shahi Tukda was a must have made with custom break and saffron.

Staff- 5/5
The staff is great and very helpful.

A lunch meet up with frnds. And what could a better place than this.
We very very value for money.
I loved the starters. One of my friend, who's a huge pork lover. Loved the pork ribs.
The wide range of salads looked amazing.
The Indian section was great. I loved the Bhindi Masala, daal and biryani.
I couldn't try all the dishes. But whatever I tried. I loved them all.
Special mention about the dessert. I loved the Tiramisu and the badam Kheer.
But I didn't quite love the coffee,Which can definitely be worked on
Ambience wise, its amazing.
The staff was very gentle.
Would definitely visit again.
May be for breakfast for a change.
been there with family for a Sunday dinner buffet. The spread was elaborate be it the starters, main course or the dessert section. Most of the dishes were delicious, especially the fish variants. Desserts were too many to taste and i have to suffice to say that all looked yum! Service was satisfactory, the dining area quiet didn't match up with the appealing entrance ambiance though.

We ended up at Golconda Pavilion for our parent's anniversary for Dinner for about a month ago. I'm usually skeptical of food taste at star hotel buffets, but boy did this place prove me wrong. Every item across all courses was delectable. The experience was worth the money.

Staff-5/5

Food - 5/5
Service - 5/5
Ambiance - 5/5
Value for money-5/5

Which has been the worst value for money buffet in my life ? THIS ONE !

Service: 1/5 ( Doesn't look like a 5 star hotel service )
Ambience : 3.5/5 (Good)
Food: 2/5 ( Waste of money)
Value of money : 0/5

The variety of food is SOO MUCH LESS. Even buffet of 500 rupees have 3 times more variety than this. The taste is pretty average. Also service is terrible.

This has been the worst buffet experience of my life. I felt cheated. Would not recommend it to anyone ever.
Weekend Food Raid - Luxurious Dinner Buffet 🍱

When you are bored on weekends and then suddenly you think of treating yourself a dinner buffet, your weekend turns colorful 🎉

Visited @itckohenur #hyderabad for a dinner buffet, they have some amazing spread with a huge variety of multi cuisine mouth watering dishes which will skip your heartbeat for few seconds ❤️😉 The ambience makes half the thing right, rest assures the food. Swipe right ➡️ for more #pictures
Honestly, just one small #feedback . We were not given enough space by the staffs, though they were really sweet to everyone. But very frequent visits were made to the table, then engagement of 7-8min which took some precious time of enjoyment from us. Otherwise everything was perfect!!

The way it was served and presented was totally amazing and different.! Taste was also good.! Had Manchuria after this which was so tasty made out of cauliflower.! Coming to main course had panner and roti.! Presentation and taste full marks.! Quality was great but quantity was less.!
Value for money-3/5
Food-4/5
Ambiance-5/5

The much talked about place in town, Golconda Pavilion at ITC Kohenur is a foodie's paradise! One would be spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing what all to binge on when it comes to their Sunday buffet. The spread is elaborate, the ambience lovely and such hospitable staff!

What is interesting is the number of options they have for Starters alone! From sardine fries to fish balls (oh! These were love!), Slow roasted carrots to insanely good hummus, from cocktail prawns to Hawaiian chicken salad you name it and the dish is there! Options galore for both veg as well as non veg lovers!
The veggies were crisp with beautiful seasonings and the meats melt in your mouth with their subtle flavours!

Mains was a mix of Indian and Global cuisine. From Hyderabad's very own Biryani to Singaporean Fried rice, you could lay your eyes on both! Okra pulusu is something that has stayed with me for the use of garden veggies and the lovely play of flavours!

Desserts again are a treat! For the eyes as well as the soul! One cannot possibly taste all that there is ... precisely because there's just so many! The Creme Brulee, Tiramisu, Rasmalai, Shahi Tukhda, Berry Compote deserve a special mention! Big pats, Dessert Chef!

Overall an extremely pleasing experience and we had a lovely evening, thank you!

Looking forward to visit them soon again!

The place is magnificent. Its huge luxurious and what to say its ITC Kohenur, worth calling it a Kohenur.
The food meets to its utmost standards of quality and taste and so is the hospitality and ambiance of this place.

Cheers Rakshita Nath

Very lavish spread, from Pani poori to pita bread.
I really liked the Indian breads and snacks, they are really yummy, pasta and burgers are just fine. Sushi is a bit disappointing. Heavy on the pocket.
One feedback for the team : you may need to have thin line between veg and non veg, we are a society that has a mix of both and you need to respect that.

Been here on office party..... (Can't dare to spent this much from my pockets hahaha ).

6/5 for the ambience. Wow!!!!!

Main course was good. Services was awesome.

Menu and taste was fine.

Initially our thought was to have morning tea or coffee at ITC Golconda but our mind changed after looking at the wide buffet breakfast 🍳 spread. Must say one of the best buffet breakfast spread in town if you have the cushion to shell out some extra bucks. Especially the milkshakes, fresh dessert and the live counter is worth trying. Final verdict a must go place to relish the food. Rating Ambience 5*, Service 4.5*, Food 4.5* and Price 4*
