Review Jewel Of Nizam – The Minar - Hyderabad

Sheer luxury. Food is great. Loved it. I particularly enjoyed Marag with bread. It was divine. One thing I didn't like is the wait time. There is too much wait time between each serving. While the dish was already on the table, there was no one to serve it. This is unexpected when the USP is luxury itself. There is a lot of wait time even for your order to come but that's alright as you might want to spend more time enjoying the ambience.

A very different experience of dining. You feel like a Nizam . The food is menu is set menu where you choose between 3 menus one is non veg with prawns, non veg and veg . Amicably a 5 course set meal . The food is very good but it's nit served hot. Is at best Luke warm or not warm . I sincerely think if you catering a different experience of an awesome Nizam inspired atmosphere with a view with silverware and fine cutlery the food should also should match . Saying that nothing wring with food but certainty it can served at right temperature . Overall a very nice experience.

It's an experience to relish. One needs to make advance reservations because the place has limited tables. They have options for set menu as well as ala carte. We chose set menu which was a relief because it eliminates the process of collecting preferences from each of the 8 member group. They venue and minar are definitely beautiful. We requested for the lake facing table but lil did we know that the ac doens't work for that table and it gets hot. Unfortunately the staff was less than helpful in this regard. We had fancy plate settings and cutlery and they started us off with our 5 course meal. Shorba 3.5/5 Non veg Starters 4/5 Main course 3.5/5 Biryani 4.5/5 Desserts 3/5 Their menu changes everyday apparently. But overall the experience for my family was great although some of the boomers in the family couldn't digest the pricing 😋

Great venue. Went with my colleagues from Hyderabad and on entering they gave us all a necklace of pearls. Ordered from the set menu and the food was excellent. Waiters were always available for any requests, and service was perfect. Views are also amazing up high in the tower. Hopefully I'll get a chance to do it again!!

This place needs a pre booking, so make sure you make a booking on the call. Also, there's an assited parking. Yiu can experience a luxurious meal and the service is just way too good. Lovely place to be with your family and friends. Do visit this place if you want to get a new experience and time away from your daily routine. You will love the ambiance and atmosphere of the place. Good food good place and good taste. Also, the service provided by the property is at its best. Loved the place truely.

It was really a great experience, the kebabs were so perfectly cooked and so delicious. I loved the biryani too. The vibe was complete royal vibes ✨️ Though I missed chandeliers above 2 people sitting area 😏

Authentic Hyderabadi taste. Highly recommended to go for dinner if planning for a date or casual party. The only challenge is that they do not allow kids below 12 or 14 for dinner. So if you have little ones joining you, lunch should be your choice. 😊

Very Nice place for a quiet dinner! Better to book in advance through the website. We had the five course meal and were too stuffed to finish it! The lake is not visible in the evening so no point reserving those seats. Also, it's better to book the table for 4 , and pay the cover charge as you will probably spend more than that anyhow, than book the table for two as it offers more space and comfort ( only applies for evening dinners when lake view is not possible)

Starting from Resort entrance to entering in Restaurant was a good experience. Ambience was luxurious nd gives royal feeling inside and outside the restaurant. You will have to reserve a table well in advance from there website by paying cover charges of Rs1000/- per person which later will be adjusted in you bill. Staff services could have been better. Food taste was just okay for main course. Veg. Starters were good. Seems they don't have expertise in vegetarian cuisines. Not sure about non veg.

Great ambience and decent food, bit overpriced but good place for celebrations. I suggest prior appointments especially on weekends.

For vegitarians food is not that great; however, ambience and view is beautiful. Although drinks are average, I somehow got little more high in magical environment. Visit once and don't forget to click memories.

This was my second visit here. Beautiful ambience, music at par with the theme and cuisine. The restaurant provides a wonderful view as well. Availed the 5 course meal where they bring shorbas, appetizers, staples, including 2 types of bread and biriyani and deserts. Food was sumptuous but service felt a bit rushed with hardly any time between the appetizers and the mains. Overall, a good experience.

Located inside the Golkonda resorts, the atmosphere of this place is firstly top notch. The ambiance inside the 100-foot-tall fifth Minar of Hyderabad, with a beautiful view of the resort on one end and the expanding city on the other adds to one of the best dining experiences.<br/><br/>The dining area and the interiors are designed to give you the Nizami feel and royalty. The Daawat-e-Sagarmahal for dinner had amazing variety of chicken, prawn, fish and mutton starters, which were however a little bland to be called perfect while the chicken soup had succulent infusion of flavours with the right amount of spices.<br/><br/>The high point of the meal was the main course - amazing flavours in the Haleem and mutton rogan josh combined with the naans that boldly spoke of garlic! Biryani was decent too and summed up the entire course pretty well. The meal included reasonably good desserts that became a bit too much to put into the already filled tummies.<br/><br/>Courteous staff and more than satisfactory speed of service. Recommend to make your booking a little early in the nights so you have enough time to spend both inside and outside the Minar that flaunts amazing aureate garden lighting.<br/><br/>Would give it a 4.25/5

We went there for a special occasion after an year and food quality has drastically reduced. The staff wasn’t understanding either. We had ordered gravies and breads together and not all the breads were served on time. Some breads were served with the desert. Didn’t like the experience or the food.

We went there on weekend with prior reservation. But still waited for the table. Ambiance is exquisite and the view is pretty good. Felt food is abit over pricy but it tasted good. Totally love the experience

Beautiful place. You will get the feel of eating in a palace restaurant. The food is also very good. We had the signature dishes Patthar ke ghost, biryani, kheema roti and Anokhi kheer. Ever had a kheer which is not made of rice or vermicelli but white onions and yet so delicious, Jewel of Nizam is the place. Very good service, total value for money.

Per person for veg set menu it costed about 2300 exclusive of taxes, so just imagine, the food was not very great. I suggest you get much better food at ABs n barbiecue nation!!!

We had a really great time over there. I went with my mother. The staff's service was very great.<br/>We opted for the Veg Fixed Rate Menu. It consisted of shorba, 3 starters, 5 main course items, indian breads, biryani, apricot custard and kaddu ka halwa.<br/>We really loved kaddu ka halwa. We have been to this place for lunch and it is located inside the golkonda resorts.<br/><br/>Coming to the ambiance, located around 80 feet high with the splendid view of the golkonda resorts on one side and the historic elegance of the gandipet lake on the other side with the royal interiors makes you feel like the king of the nizams. Their magnificent and imperial interiors where the whole place is made and filled with the nizams heritage and you would love to have our lunch/dinner at this noble place. <br/><br/>Started with the chicken soup which was tangy and spicy and then their chicken banjara kebab was also tender and juicy. There was a strand of hair in the biryani not at all expected of this place flavor of the biryani was weird curries were very tasteless and the only thing good was the starter although there is no great taste in the dishes served meat however Is of very good quality cooked to perfection it was literally melting in the mouth but no flavor. Ambience : 5/5 Definitely a Royal feeling at this place. Very well maintained and an awesome view. Food : 4/5 : The mutton biriyani was fantastic. However, there are very few options for vegetarians. The vegetarian biriyani was average. One thing I fell in love with was the mint chutney. It was fresh and very well prepared. Drinks : 4/5: I had London Gin and tonic. It was good. Good variety of drinks menu.Overall the place has a rich vibe. Good for a romantic dinner date with your boo. ❤️

The ambience, food is not at all worth the hype. Menu is overpriced with very average dishes, taste and presentation. Manager Mr. Prasanna is very rude. We visited the place on Sunday and hardly 2-3 tables were full still very rudely he asked us to wait for long time and told us that he has to check if any availability is there. We were there for almost 2 hours and till then no new guest had arrived. Overall experience was average
