Review Seasonal Tastes - Hyderabad

Sriram Chowdary
Indeed an exquisite place. Never imagined a pricey buffet would offer these many dishes and that too good ones. Really liked the availability of multiple cuisines unlike other buffets which stick a single cuisine. Special emphasis on Asian cuisine cause the food tasted so delicious and could experience wide varieties such as Khow suey, Sushi and more. A section of side from Arabian Cuisine was also refreshing. Coming to Italian cuisine, pasta is a staple everywhere, but here it included many other items including in the menu and almost all of them tasted damn good. Salads and dressings were just on another level which included some wild salad combinations. Starters felt a bit regular but Desserts, Main course and food from Curd section had really interesting varieties and especially all the items from the curd section were to die for. Overall a must try place even though it's a bit on the higher side. If at all to mention a drawback, it would be the service which was a bit disappointing for a 5-star hotel.

Westin's Seasonal Tastes restaurant in Hyderabad is a true culinary delight, especially for vegetarians. I recently visited this exquisite dining spot with my family of six, and we were all charmed by the experience. From the moment we stepped in, the ambience of the restaurant captivated us. The elegant and contemporary decor, combined with a warm and inviting atmosphere, made us feel right at home. The seating arrangement was comfortable and spacious, accommodating our family perfectly. The highlight of our visit was, undoubtedly, the food. The restaurant offers an extensive vegetarian menu that is both innovative and satisfying. Each dish we tried was a testament to the chef's expertise in bringing out bold and authentic flavors. From appetizers to desserts, every course was prepared to perfection, using fresh and high-quality ingredients. The presentation of the food was also noteworthy, adding to the overall dining experience. What made our experience even more enjoyable was the exceptional service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, helping us make informed choices that suited our taste preferences. Seasonal Tastes at Westin Hyderabad is a haven for vegetarians. The restaurant’s commitment to quality and the overall dining environment make it an ideal place for family gatherings or special occasions. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Hyderabad.

Wonderful experience with the quality of the food and service. I had a buffet and loved every dish except for the mutton pulao. The main course is something that would pull the customers and I feel that is something that needs to be prepared better. Apart from that starters were best and they were absolutely of a dream quality.

Went to have breakfast buffet. It was sumptuous. The spread had different varieties. Some of them are- thai fish soup, exclusive soup counter, bacon, pork sausage, salad options, cake and other baked options. Buffet will cost around 1400, but it is worth it for the spread and service. I haven't tried the Indian breakfast side at all since I wanted to try more of western style.

Thank you so much Abhay for your amazing hospitality. Special shout out goes to you my brother (Abhay)….Delicious food, Superb service. The breakfast buffets was very good and lavish. Jamine did an excellent job. He is very humble and soft spoken person.

Lovely place and good ambience Buffet and ala Carte available. They mention the correct and accurately that ala Carte will take time. Friendly service by Angela and Shresth. Worth the money we spend.

A Culinary Delight at Seasonal Tastes, Hotel Westin I recently had the pleasure of dining at Seasonal Tastes, the exquisite restaurant nestled within Hotel Westin, and I must say the experience surpassed all expectations. From the moment I entered, the warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for an exceptional dining experience. The decor was tasteful, creating an atmosphere that balanced sophistication with a welcoming touch. The staff was not only attentive but also remarkably friendly, adding a personal touch to the entire meal. Now, onto the main highlight - the food. The menu at Seasonal Tastes is a culinary journey that promises to tantalize the taste buds, and it undeniably delivers. The array of dishes showcases a perfect blend of flavors, each thoughtfully curated to represent a spectrum of cuisines. The chefs' dedication to using seasonal and fresh ingredients was evident in every bite, enhancing the overall dining experience. One aspect that particularly impressed me was the live cooking stations. Watching the chefs skillfully prepare dishes right in front of us added an interactive and engaging element to the dining experience. The variety and quality of the dishes presented were truly commendable, ranging from international delicacies to regional specialties. The dessert selection was a sweet symphony of flavors, providing a delightful conclusion to the meal. The presentation was not only visually appealing but also reflected the creativity and artistry of the pastry chefs. What makes Seasonal Tastes stand out is its commitment to providing a holistic dining experience. The restaurant's attention to detail, from the carefully curated menu to the impeccable service, creates an atmosphere that is perfect for both casual and special occasions. In conclusion, Seasonal Tastes at Hotel Westin is a gem that deserves all the accolades it receives. It's not just a meal; it's a culinary journey that leaves a lasting impression. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a top-notch dining experience in a welcoming and sophisticated setting. Kudos to the entire team at Seasonal Tastes for creating such a memorable dining destination!

Elegant place with an awesome vibe. I went for a lunch buffet along with my colleagues. Every single bite of food was simply perfect. We had Salads, ripe sweet multi varieties of tomatoes with the freshest mozzarella and balsamic dressing. The white sauce pasta was amazing. The main course was cooked to perfection. They had a special stall for Utappam and chat which is very delicious. I loved all the desserts they served. My top 3 picks are Baklava, Blueberry financier and Honey nut tart. Baklava was amazing and the best dessert. The atmospere was awesome and the service was excellent.

Just visit for ambience. The buffet food is not great (cold) However, the coconut panna cotta is superb!!

Awesome good with plenty of options starting with starters, main courses, and desserts. For both veg and non vegetarians, you can experience a wide variety of items saturated with delicacy. I liked the desserts most. Around 30 different desserts including variety of cakes, Ras malai, mousse, ice creams etc. The ambience is also quite awesome. Due to having more people especially in dinner, the availability of staffs will be difficult. You have to be patient for that that. Overall, nice experience. Though a bit costly. 1900 per person at dinner.

I have no words, today I visited Westin with my team on Onam and they had such delicious food ready. I was highly impressed by the presentation and the variety. The starters section was good having equal veg and non veg combo, I liked pahadi chicken and Lemon garlic chicken. Salad section was delicious too. They had a vide variety of breads which was a great thing too. Apart from that the main course was just wow, there was a live chaat and appam counter which was Soo unique. Totally loved it. Overall an amazing experience.

Food was good in quality and quantity both. It was tasty as well. The desert section was just super. The starter items were not in variety. Kebabs and Tandoori items were very limited.

Bright lights and exemplary service made this a very good experience for my family including our youngest member all of 11 months. Being veg, we found the food spread regular as you get to see in other 5 stars'. All items tasted fresh and importantly we could relish them hot. The decor around the spread however was great and inviting enough for one to savour the delicacies. Biryani and mix dal tadka stood out for me. Desserts were amazing. Spread was quite lavish. We enjoyed the mango pudding and blueberry one till the last spoon. We were attended by Rushikesh right throughout the evening. He came across as sincere, took special interest in how we were doing w. r. t food and comfort. I have come across very few people in service industry who are so effective in their job. Thank you Rushikesh.

Terrible experience of the Sunday breakfast buffet. Limited varieties and tasteless food. Barely 2 fruits, no salads, easily compared to an ordinary hotel serving bf buffet. I couldn’t even finish the masala dosa, sambar & chutneys we’re below average - the choco muffin was the worst. Masala omelette was tasteless inspite of adding salt.
I’m suprised there were people consuming the food there. Requesting the staff & manager to pull up their socks & visit Itc, Novotel & the like serving excellent food with sanitization in order.

Not Justified : Went for dinner outing first time after Corona lock down to Westin for dinner buffet at 22:15 but not allowed as the staff said that time is over for buffet but at the time of table booking by me the respondent over the phone said that you are welcome to come till 22:30 for buffet. After lot of talk with staff no option but to choose the 'a la carte' option. Staff forced us to sit in the alleyway as they said the diner section is also about to close, offered a table in next 10 minutes behind a big pillar which is dark, dingy and full of mosquitoes. By then mood is spoilt by the time of seating. The best is yet come though....the waiter/waitress offered only 1 menu booklet and wanted us to order as soon she handed over to us without going over the menu. Tandoor is closed at 22:30 at all day dining and a star hotel. Quickly ordered a chicken dish, bread and biryani which thank god is average. Gulped it down with the help of some water and wanted to pay and get out of it quickly but again best part is yet to come. Waiter came back about 10 minutes later with bill in his hand and not even in bill booklet or envelop....I was like WHAT....but by this time I agreed that I ruined my outing...paid the amount but just went to washroom for final nail in coffin...'VOILA' its not clean.Great! not used it and came out quickly. I was thinking that it's on par with a roadside Dhaba. Additionally no precautions for Corona unlike ITC Kohenur. Well 'The Westin' earned a reputation for themselves which I share with everyone.

So it went like this i have finished my work around 5 am and there were rats running in my stomach...!! That hungry i was, then i was searching for some good breakfasts. And then yes this came into my mind and yes then i have made a reservation in the zomato and the staff was very responsive and received the response very quickly regarding the confirmation. And i and my friend were the first one to start with the buffet. And yes now i have fo say about the staff, This staff is fantastic. They are really sweet and responsive to all the things you tell them. As i have ordered a lot of customized foods and yes that was remarkably made to statisfy me. Especially the chicken dosa which was made it made my day. The major thing which was stupendous was the breads and the jam section. However i would like to give a suggestion regarding the jam,Where the jam can be served in the small bottles instead they are serving in the soup bowls which is not good as the customer would find it difficult to apply it on the slice of bread. Hope i would see this next time i visit. And yes coming to the ambience it was sparkling. They have taken good care of the ambience. And now coming to the Major point that is is covid Measures i would like to say you have to improve your standard as i and my friend was not even thermally scanned we ourselves have checked with the device which was available at the entrance. I think you know the circumstances of the situation going around the world. And the staff was very clean with masks and gloves. But intially checking for thermal is mandatory and the first step where you have lost marks in my case.

Value for money 3.5/5
Service 5/5
Ambience ,4/5
Covid Measures 2/5

i had gone for my bday party there and surely that day was made by westin. they have such a humble staff and the food quality was beyond imagnation. everything was fresh and hygenic. i loved their food ambience! Thanks Westin

Very friendly staff. Great food. Specially in buffet, they have hundreds of items. I just love the way they prepare mushroom starter. Staff will get you any dish even though it is not part of buffet.

Amazing offers and brunch is the best about this place always crowded and we'll maintained staff

One of the finest dining experience. Desserts spread was awesome. Ambience was simply superb. Overall had good time .,

We went for a Friday breakfast and it was A-MAZING. We had called to know about the spread beforehand but we felt it was rather UNDERSOLD to us in comparison to the other reviews here. YOU MUST TRY THE BREAKFAST BUFFET! Be there no later than 9:30 in the morning with an empty stomach. We did not try any of our very own Indian items but what we had for the continental was more than enough. In addition to the regular cereals and nuts, there was a generous spread of mouth watering sausages and bacon with sautéed veggies and made to order eggs with a variety of spot-baked crossiant and breads. A vibrant salad counter accompanied by cheese and cracker and pita and hummus and garlic sauces makes it handpicked bouquet of lightweight deliciousness. A rare section dedicated to close to a dozen juices and shakes was something new that we saw. Turn to the sweeter part, and you have a wide choice of danishes, cakes. Worth mention was the papa roti and the baked yogurt which we kept talking about on our way back! If you want anything to be tweaked to suit your cravings that morning, just ask the chef who makes it a point to take a personal round of your table.
The place is on a rather pricier side of the scale but, in my experience, they more than make it up with the variety and taste of the food and friendliness of the staff.
Undoubtedly, one of the best buffet places in Hyderabad.
Harshita Rao
The spread is great. However, I wasn’t very satisfied with the quality of the food. I personally didn’t think its value for money.
If you’re looking for luxury dining/ star hotel experience, this isn’t the right place.
However, the desert spread is great! Wide variety.
Ambience:5/5

Truly a 5 star experience with courteous staff and longing spread of buffet ranging from various styles of dishes. A must visit for a team gathering or family lunch. The ambience is also nice and lavish with all sorts of assortment to tickle your taste buds. If you're an avid spice lover than this is not the place for you because the food is a little bland but hygienic.
#5☆ #ambience #classy

Visited this place for team dinner. Ambience was good.

Many options were provided in salads counter. There were live counters for chaat and noodles/pasta. Decent enough taste.

They served the authentic dish of telugu states - Punugulu which is not mostly found at restaurants. Good for the people who want to try out authentic indian food.

Starters and maincourse didn't have much items and were as common compared to other restaurants (even the same available at low price).

Again, for desserts there were no varieties. They had ice cream, waffles, cake, tart. Expected many more for such high price of buffet.
Siddhi
Food, quality, quantity, service are all up to the mark. Except that the cost is on the tad higher side, but for the spread it’s fair. Can we reviewed though. New menu options can be added to buffet as being a frequent visitor, I am already aware what’s going to be served.new surprises always are crowd appeal.

The most accurate word I can think of for the food here is moronic.

The biryani was well made but that is about it - I find it difficult to write anything else positive about this buffet. Cold, Lifeless, Decadent, Miserable - let me stop here as I fear driving my mind into the same gutter where my stomach was driven.

Is it better to die of hunger or to die of indigestion ? Hunger is my choice at the moment.

I tried their Saturday lunch buffet
The dessert section was surprisingly not good. Nothing was good.
Their main course, salads etc were good and I must say their wantons were very good. Finally a place in Hyderabad serves decent wantons. The ones you get at Mainland Chona, Aromas of China, China Bistro etc are all pathetic. The sauce was also correct though not perfect. Their Pan Asian stand was located outside the restaurant for some reason, but it was good.
Their mocktails, fresh fruit juices etc were not merely bad but horrid. Lots of improvement required there. Their machine squezed fruit juices smell. I also disliked their volcanic water. I prefer good old Kinley, Aquafina etc.
The decor was pathetic. But then most of the Hyderabadi restaurant decor are usually pathetic. Their Christmas decorations not yet completed, were already sad. They need a stylish revamp with a stylish decorator not merely some well qualified decorator or worse, somebody's relative who thinks he/she xan decorate. 😄
The service was average with one good server saving the day. All in all, an OK place.
Shweta Baranwal
Had their weekday lunch buffet and was happy to see the huge spread that they have to offer. Except a few dishes that I tried which could have tasted much better, the food was delicious. Desserts need a special mention as they were in lot of variety and light sweet, and the payasam was really good.
R K
Not at all worth the price. Been here earlier for a weekday lunch buffet and I felt it far better than the recent weekend dinner buffet which was charged considerably high.
Not 1 starter or main course deserved a second try. Understaffed most of the time that left us with a cluttered uncleaned table. Not 1 staff assisted us with anything including payment. We had to walk over to the bill counter and pay!!! I guess we should have left without paying because they didn't deserve it either way.
The only saviour was the dessert section and this is coming from a person who doesn't have a sweet tooth. Their cakes and pastries are worthy of a mention.
I understand they cater to international customers but that doesn't mean they have to overlook the localities who love spicy food. Everything was bland and cold. Every single dish. This is probably the only worst review I have written ever. Never going there again
Sudeep Sodani
Love this buffet always. Such a massive spread. But the best thing is the quality equates the quantity
Deepti
The food was really not good. Bland taste. Not even a single item in veg... was up to the mark. All items were bland. Desserts were ok. I was really disappointed.

Perfect classy ambiance, great continental food with Indian food. Great service and the best part is the dessert section. And I had never tasted such great Mutton biryani in my life. Soft soft juicy succulent meat and flavorful rice made the biryani so perfect. Only one thing I was disappointed, the buffalo meat, it was so well done, the meat became so hard to chew. I would be great if you could make it medium rare. Otherwise everything was great. And it was my perfect birthday celebration and thankfully we chose seasonal taste to celebrate my special day.
Anjali
I had the breakfast buffet here, which was alright though some things like the mezzeh platter tasted a tad stale. What was really disappointing was the lunch buffet here, the quality of the food wasn't very good and definitely not worth the price paid.

Had sunday brunch from Seasonal Tastes(Westin).Best service. Indian, continental and Asian menu available with good spread. A wide range of desert is also available. The ambience of the place was excellent.A must visit restaurant when you are in HYD.

This place offers one of the best buffet spread among all the 5 star hotels in the town. The quality of food, taste and presentation is elite and worth a visit. The ambience is lovely, cozy, well lit, quite and open. The place encourages having a quality conversation while enjoying good food. The best section in the buffet is their dessert, you are offered with pretty much 10-15 dessert options. Highly recommended for professionals.

Seasonal taste is the multicuisiene restaurant of The Westin located in the lobby level of the hotel .. The lobby is huge with the restaurant on one side and the bar on the other .
The food and service on the other hand is commendable. Had the buffet on multiple occasions which is always excellent and they have a huge spread as well ..
Overall worth visiting.
Diandeh Nath
went for sunday brunch buffet.Superb food accompanied by great live music.Loved all the items.A must visit for sunday brunch.

As the name goes by, food here can be felt quite elite. Ambience was captivating and options were vast. The desserts range was quite fascinating and salads offered were tasty. Chicken salami and pork bacon slices were too good and a must taste in the salads section. Pricing will seem a bit high but it’s worth the place and options the place gives. Not a frequent stop by place but a must try venue.
Swastik Panigrahy
The food was ok at best and not really worth the price. I went out with my team for dinner, and pretty much the overall response of my team was that the food was below average. We were a 4 members group who had gone for dinner, I went for a-la-carte order and the remaining three went for the buffet. I ordered a caesar chicken salad where it was just plain salad leaves without even the stems removed and the chicken was chewy, I have my doubts whether the person who prepared my salad knew what is a caesar salad. Next was a pan-seared seabass fillet which was overcooked and was bland, also the sauce given along with the fillet was without any proper seasoning. This is coming from someone who likes minimal spice in his food.

I would not talk much about the buffet as I did not try it out but from what I heard from my colleagues they too were not really happy with the food. Actually, I did try a piece of Shushi which was cold in the middle. Now I have tried Shushi in a lot of places but there is a marked difference between the one which I ate there and what I had here.

If you are eating at a place which operates under the Westin brand there is a certain expectation but for the price, the food was a huge disappointment and probably this would be the last time we would be having food here as a time. Now in my typical fashion time for rating :

Ambiance (3/5): The lighting and seating arrangements and overall ambiance were good but I felt a bit of discomfort as I felt a bit hot at the place where we were seating.

Service (3/5): Perhaps the only saving grace was a good service from the waiting staff but again at least someone needs to ask about our experience because we were literally the first group for dinner service and you should check if the food was up to the mark.

Food (2/5): It was bland and did not have much flavor to enjoy. I understand that the food caters to an International crowd but that does not mean the food has to be this unenjoyable. Again coming to my earlier point about service, if someone did take the pain of asking about how the food maybe they would have known that the food was not at all satisfying.

Pricing (2/5): For the pricing, the quantity and quality of food were not at all any different from other places which serve similar food at a lower price point. Now value for money is not the point here but at least the food should feel worth the price, which was another major disappointment.

Trust me if I was not with my team, I would have definitely have given a piece of my mind regarding the food and overall experience. It was me who had suggested for dinner plan in Westin because I had a good experience with your brunch and breakfast, but the dinner service has left a bad impression over all of us.
Harshet Agarwal
I would consider this one of the best brunches in town
Been wanting to come for a while now
The spread was enough to fill me up
Great taste and variety
Clearly lacked the quality since my last visit
None the less worth it every time
Dheeren
I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a continental buffet. Wide variety of food options that tastes good, what more can you ask for in a buffet. Deserts are really good too.
Rashu
The food is good but the service is very bad . There is no exception for not putting on a smiling face in hotel business . They did not even care to ask for drinks or address customer needs.

Went for a buffet team lunch from our office. There was a plethora of cuisine to pick from, we had
-sushi
-white sauce chicken pasta
- butter chicken with Indian bread.
-different types macaroons
- Mango choux and Chocolate cake
-Cream Brulee
And many more things 😍😋

The ambience and the vibe of the place was great.
Do visit this place ❤️

#thewestin #theindianfoodspy
Follow us at instagram @theindianfoodspy

While the popularity of Pan Asian cuisine is ameliorates each passing day and lesser known cuisines like Korean and Vietnamese are coming to light, there's one cuisine which still is relatively unknown to the people of this country and that's Indonesian. Although the inherent beauty of this archipelago lures countless travelers from across the planet, there are hardly a few dishes which we could name from the cuisine, let alone understand what their food is about.

Inhabited by over 300 distinct ethnic groups, the archipelago nation of Indonesia consists of over 17000 islands each yielding their own eccentric produce - thanks to the climate, soil as well as the topography, making the cuisine as diverse as it can be. Be it the Dutch trade settlements, the Chinese immigrants or the gradual spread of Islam, its the amalgamation of these myriad influences from each page of their history which has made the food what it is now, where each dish is forged with generations of traditions, stories and culture. Commemorating this beautiful cuisine, Seasonal Tastes at The Westin is driving a week long food fest called Streets of Indonesia in collaboration with Chef Eka from St Regis, Bali, curating a stunning extravaganza of Indonesian classics.

Off late Indonesian food has gained immense popularity. The cuisine is something that everyone has developed a palate. It was easy because, the Indonesian cuisine has roots from the other oriental nations. Indonesian street food consists of a wide variety , from the nasi goreng and mie goreng to the soto ayam. Fresh produce including herbs and aromatics form the base for some good food. The food here includes simple stir fry, braised meats , skewed meat and vegetables etc. Some commonly used ingredients that give the food its characteristics and makes it a little different are fish sauce, generous amounts of lemon grass, peanuts , shrimp paste, different types of soy, sambal , palm sugar etc.

First of all it is a 5 star place, you go there with atleast minimum expectation but all my expectations went vein.the food was bad starting from the starters and main course were totally blunt no taste in them and are served cold those pan or utensils dont heat the food inside, not at all a great spread,I’ve seen better than this, mutton biryani was fine, desserts were okay.
Overall I’ve expected a lot because the name says so,but there’s nothing in there,so disappointed with the food.the only reason for 2 stars is ambience and for the staff not for the food.
Srishti Bhardwaj
If you're vegetarian, you're going to have a limited set of options here, for non vegetarians you might definitely enjoy bringing in different stuff in your plate each time. Desserts were good. Taste was average for vegetarian course and good for non vegetarian course.

Horrible horrible food ..! Made me sick..! Overcharged me.. sold me fungus in the food..!! This place should be shut down..! Don’t expect this from a hotel like Westin..!
..... horrible horrible

Seasonal Tastes is in numerous ways the paradigm for buffet restaurants in Hyderabad under The Westin chain. Whether it is breakfast, lunch, or dinner, if you are looking for a buffet, it is hard to find a better option than Seasonal Tastes. The spread is immensely large & you will be spoilt for choices; the buffet includes multiple live counters and dishes out everything from street food and popular delights to gourmet fare. The highlights of the breakfast spread are breads, shakes, juices, cold cuts and desserts. You could think of every cuisine, including a variety of live counters, fresh fruits and desserts. The weekend brunches inevitably get sold out and feature a bustling, carnival-like atmosphere
The Seasonal Tastes breakfast buffet features terrific 'Croissant' and 'Danish'. Not to forget, the hospitality and energy of the chefs at Westin is unparalleled. All in all, the best ever spread encountered till date. Thanks to the entire Team at Seasonal Tastes @ Westin which provides all its guests everlasting memories.

No variety. No taste. Only different breads available. Nothing to eat. #MoneyWaste. Full costly. Good for showoff. Chicks love this place to show off.

Went to Seasonal tastes for dinner with a colleague yesterday for dinner. It was a buffet and I was amazed at the variety of dishes on the buffet. Mutton biriyani was really good with soft pieces and flavourful basmati rice. As Executive chef Mahesh Padalam is a dear friend we got the fresh fish fry and chepala pulusu direct from kitchen. Desserts were good with basundi being in right proportions in terms of sweetness.A must visit place

This place serves PORK. People looking for halal food please avoid big time or can just stick to vegetarian cuisines.

The irony is that when asked they all blindly say that they serve Halal. As a matter of fact you cant combine halal and swine.

Choose wisely - same hotel has Kangana which serves Indian cuisines.

Unless detected with a critical eye, one cannot really find a fault in this place. Dishes are lovely, ambience is pleasing, and I find myself stuffing more than I can take.

Ended up having dinner@ this restaurant last week. A wonderful experience!

Ambience - feels like an alfresco dining room. Very airy, but extremely crowded lol. Seats are a big minus though. Low and uncomfortable padding. Unfortunately, we couldn't get the sofa seating. Nonetheless, the hotel seems to have an obsession with low seats. This will be a problem for taller and older folk.

Food - the variety is stupendous! And the quality of the produce bears mention! Absolutely brilliant! Love that team of chefs... The fish tikka in the starters, the chaat counter, the potato and bacon salad, the pasta counter, the grilled chicken.... It's a long list of favourites lol....

Service - poor... There's no other way to say it! The servers are literally of no help... Some kid dropped some food on the floor and everybody, including the serving staff chose to walk beside it lol ... I had to ask 4-5 times for my bill. That should tell you something about the service.

VFM - it's expensive for a weekday dinner. But the quality and variety of the spread is unbeatable. I would recommend the food, definitely not the service. On a side note, their AC isn't very efficient.
Shrishail Deshnur
One of the best breakfast that I’ve had this year during my travel. The Indian options for the breakfast were too good. Good service is an added delight and builds to your experience.

Best cuisine in hyderabad. Went there for a team lunch. They have a good variety of food. You will authentic indian taste... Just how it should be !

For me if there is any brunch which is close to perfect is Westin brunch... It's just about large number of menu items but it's taste that I feel is at very top notch. And there desserts are absolute delight. It terms of deserts I can give them 5/5 rating. I feel in terms of services they can improve bit more in terms of delays. But we can complain totally on them since it's always booked to max.

Drinks 4/5
Food 4/5
Desserts 5/5
Ambience 4/5
Service 3.7/5

I visited this place for a team dinner. I liked the vibes as soon as I entered. They have a lot of cuisines to try from. And the food was also nice. I felt it’s a little over priced, but given the ambience and the place, it’s worth it. The staff is friendly and courteous. The next time I am there, I might try the ala-carté though.

The only place to serve you a nice chilled beer at 4AM!
Of course, the prices are high, but i mean.., that's okayy to vist once in a while!
The Steak and onion sandwich is a must try!

Awesome breakfast spread, very polite staff and the Ambience is so calm and refreshing. Most of the food is freshly cooked in front of the guest and the bakery items are just wow.

Their buffets are sumptuous and just simply delicious. Love the spread and ambience. Perfect for a family lunch or an official meeting as well.

Westin is always our priority for team lunch during client visit due to it's standards. Buffet is huge spread as you can find Italian, Mexican and continental as well. Ambience and buffet spread is well designed and spacious. Seating is very comfortable.

Been here on a office party... Buffet Menu was wide. Starters are good, Liked sushi very much.

Salads are plenty. Drinks options are wide.

It was good one but for veg buffet I didn't feel the justification for the money

Pathetic service. Pathetic food. You can get 10 times better service and quality in less than half the price. Every time I go here as part of office lunch, dinner quality is worse than the last time

I brunched at Seasonal Tastes on New Year's day. The spread was excellent, far too many dishes for one man to taste. I loved the roast chicken, pork stew & the steak & eggs. Cold cuts were also good, but choice was limited. Pizza & sushi were kind of a letdown though. The live grill was quite good, though the chef over cooked the marinated tenderloins (partly my fault, since I forgot to tell him to cook it medium rare, but then again a professional chef should by default not cook steak above medium readiness). Desserts were good, but I felt they need to diversify their dessert spread, which was too focussed on multi-tier cakes. As for the drinks, I enjoyed the Whiskey Sour. Overall I felt that while the large spread is commendable, more care needs to be taken to perfect each offering.

I opted for the dinner buffet here and it was totally worth it. The food as well as the ambiance is really good. Even the staff was very responsive and polite.

When its an important event, like Anniversary, you would like to dine in the very best, that the city had to offer. So "Seasonal Tastes" at Westin, was our venue for the night. Had been to Kangan, their other restaurant before, and it was a good experience back then, so we decided to try out this one. We arrived at this place pretty early, around 8:00 pm on 17th February,2019. It was an Anniversary night, and stakes were pretty high! So lets find out, if this place is worth the hype!

Ambiance
==========
The place was sparsely crowded, on a Sunday evening. We didn't mind that at all. We had already reserved a table earlier, over phone and was promptly seated. The sitting arrangement was spacious and the food items were evenly spread out over quite a large area.Nothing very grand or opulent, but we liked it. Ratings - 3.5/5.

Service
==========
No complaints here. Prompt service and the waiters were very keen to help. Ratings - 4/5.

Food
==========
Ta-da! Here comes the main section! We had opted for a buffet. The salads, starters, main course, desserts, chaat sections were evenly spread out all across the floor. In the salads section, we had marinated tofu, chicken salad, ham, sprouts salads etc. Tried out quite a few of them. They were very delectable and had a great start to the dinner! Then we had the clear vegetable soup along with assortments of bread. The breads were so soft and fresh, and just melted in mouth. We also had a grilled fish starter, which tasted fine. In the main course section, we had momo, fish kebabs, noodles, biriyani, vegetable korma etc. All of them were well cooked and tasted yum! We also had ordered for pasta in white sauce and it too was high on taste. The dessert section had variety of options to choose from! We had Rosogolla, Honey nut pie(ultimate taste), brownie's and what not! Overall we were highly satisfied! Ratings - 4.5/5.

Value for Money
==============
Luxury dining always comes at a price! But the quality of food we had and that taste, it was very nominal! We just shelled around some 1500 bucks per head! How can I complain! Ratings - 4.5/5

So let's calculate,

Rating = (Ambiance + Service + Food + VFM)/4 =4
.125

Final Thoughts

----------------------
If you are looking for luxury dining experience, in Hyderabad, then "Seasonal Tastes" at Westin, is where you should go! Highly Recommended!

When you go to a 5* restaurant, the expectations are really high. ST fares good on few and not great on expected ones. To start for they had only 2 non veg starters. Fish tikka was very bland. Sezwan chicken dint kick the Chinese tatse buda. They have some amazing salada, chat and the best is chicken momo. Main course had laal maas which was good but the chicken Karepepaaku was not at all good. Pasta had only penne and macaroni as option and Penne in pink sauce was not completely cooked. Desserts we're good and the best was hot chocolate brownie. The dessert section had 1 item which got over and it was not replenished. Pan flavor ice cream was really good.

I had buffet - lunch today here. Staff are friendly.Appreciate the staff.

The time to get down from the car till you leave the place every one greet with smile and a warm welcome.

Ambien 5/5.
Coming to food if you are found of hyderabadi and spice then its not the right place.
Incase if you like mild spice and western food then it's a must try place.

Fresh garden - 5/5
Farm - 4/5
Live counter - Veg sushi - average ,It lost the taste because of chilly power at the top - 1/5
Barbecue - Must try fish -5/5
Mushroom - 3/5

Homemade soup - 4/5

Starters - 4/5

Desserts -5/5

If rating are to oblige the 5 star hotels.. Then seasonal tastes can have their zomato rating as 4.5. I had an awful buffet lunch at seasonal tatsted on a Friday. The day when they must have made lil efforts to keep it better than other weekdays, as corportaes flood more of fridays. Well coming to their food, had 4 main course curries for vegetarians. Thier malai palak, pa eer and some andhra veg, all were absolutely tasteless. My cook could do a better job. Had 2 starters on thier menu, mushroom salt and pepper, absolutely hard like rocks, and meethi kebab, tasteless like sand. They charge you a bomb, but when comes on to spending some time to select thier dishes i think they go onto saving money for peanuts. Stewards we re not interested to serve breads on table, maybe they are used to people not reaching that far. Dessert were only thing which will make you not shout out for a refund.

Do you need any introduction to this place? A perfect 5 star setting with a perfect menu. From Chinese to Indian to Japanese, it covers a little of everything. Every dish was a star. But what stole my heart was the variety of desserts and ice creams they had. Total VFM! Waiting to go to this place again!!!!

This is one of the top notch places to enjoy food and luxury at the same time. While I tried the dinner buffet, it was exhaustive considering the spread. The taste was a little bland but the ambience could let you ignore it 😉

The ambience is good.
Coming to food, there were 2 starters and main course is just ok.
There is a wide spread of desserts but they are ok.
I prefer other restaurants when compared to this one.
Akhil Jayadeep
The ambience was good. Good spread, Taste is just okay! Just that people who prefer local spice might get disappointed. Customer service is good enough.

It’s often we visit luxury hotels and their restaurants.. while the looks amaze us, taste is difficult to find by..

Not this place.. seasonal tastes buffet had everything I would have wanted to see in a multi cuisine buffet, and it tastes amazing too.

Very good place if I don’t have time to explore much...

Had a average experience..

Food - 3*
Service - 3*
Ambience - 4*
Overall - 3.5*

Beverages brands should be more good... Wine was served not tasting good .
We went for lunch buffet on a weekday. The food was cold. When items were over, they were not replaced promptly. The main course was tasteless.
The only good point was desserts menu had good variety.

I’m writing this with a very heavy heart, a negative review about my fav restaurant, I have been an evangelist for the SPG, and the restaurants associated for a very long time, from the time when Westin was quite new and I bought the EDM membership almost a 9 years ago, but today I was disappointed with the lunch and it was my anniversary and the quality of food spoiled the whole day. I understand that Indian food has always been lesser spicier primarily because of the crowd, but today it was undercooked, and the continental food was tasteless. The fish starters were too salty, the chicken curry was bad as I could feel the raw spices in my mouth, I couldn’t take a second spoon of Pasta because it tasted like rotten milk, wife had noodles which were mixed with bucatini, and deserts were like of any low scale restaurant. Overall I feel that the best use of my Marriott membership will be in Sheraton than the Westin because even if they are low on the quantity but are better with quality. I walked out with a very heavy heart and I have decided that it was my last meal at your restaurant.

Restaurant is located in Mindspace .Went with family for lunch. Starters are not good, they are not spicy at all, chicken is not well cooked and further prawns are not available . Barbeque items are very bad. Main course was good, 5 to 6 Varieties available. Deserts and salads also good. Staff are friendly and nice.

This being the in house restaurant at The Westin, I went with high hopes and most of them were met I'd say.

The lobby is huge with the ceilings very high and an ambiance which will not let you down. Coming to the food, we opted for the buffet and it had variety which could make it difficult for one to pick and choose.

The tomato soup was just right and there are a multitude of salad options to choose from. The chicken tikka and the fish starters were my personal favorites along with the gobi manchurian and palak tikkis in the veg section. There is other fare in the starters too albeit continental which would appeal to somebody who likes that particular fare.

The main course had a lot of varieties like chicken and mutton biriyani which were ordinary. The curries in the main course were varied and tasted good. There were live counters serving poori chhole, chaats, pastas, and a BBQ section.

The desserts were supreme and you would be spoilt for choice here. The brownies and ice creams were my favorites here. You have pastries, phirnis and a helluva lot more which I suggest you go personally and explore.

The service is prompt but don't expect the same as BBQ Nation or ABS. No mocktails or juices were part of the buffet and that was the missing link per me. All in all at 1500 AI between Mon-Sat, it's a great experience and you get a corporate discount of 15% for select corporates. That's simply wow! Go ahead and enjoy the experience!

One of the fantastic dinner buffet...Huge spread covering from street chat to bbq grills and hand crafted deserts.
Worth every penny, you would find Avocados in salad as well.
Multiple live counters to embrace your taste buds. Service/Ambience both were perfect as well

I have been here with my office team for lunch, the lunch spread was very lavish and lot many desserts 🍮, I really loved it but the price is bit expensive, it is quiet obvious As they are maintaining the standards.
But it’s value for money. I suggest to go for a dinner with your companion.

This is one of the best resturants in the city. Every food item was very good.Specially the goat soup was exactly as home made. The mirchi bajji live counter was good. Thank you Westin chefs for the fantastic food.. Will go there again..

This restaurant was pending on my list since a long time and finally got my hands on today, i must tell this was the best buffet spread with a huge variety of tasty dishes under one roof! Everything cant be explained in words so you must just go and try it out yourself.

Great ambience very elegant, loved the place food was ok I guess I’ll rate 3.5/5 for only food I had buffet but did not found much varieties to have I personally felt like it’s not worth of every penny of your money here. But to have a date night it’s a perfect place😁

Not a good place for youngsters and couple's. I'd refer families to this restaurant 👪 food taste fine, they don't have many varieties. Ambience is good seating arrangement could be made better. Serving and service was good they did their best could do better ☺
Mrinalini Kaushik
I have been there with my team for corporate lunch.. the spread was huge. Specially if you r a non vegetarian then u will get to taste some exotic dishes of chicken and fish. The main attraction is the dessert bar.. love that place..

Ambience is good and a number of varities we're there. I feel this is a place for the ones staying at Westin as there will be people from different countries. Hence the items covers all types of dishes like breads pastas chinese etc. We have been for team dinner and I dont think it's worth a try for the price offered. Nonveg is not all good. Only salads and veg starters are fine. Desserts are good.
Uday Kiran Asimeni
Visisted this place for team dinner, there multiple varities of items and were mouthwatering. Good one decent one ☝️ njoyed alot with my team

Maybe one of the restraunt I visited most no. Of times . The food was ok but the ambience was at its level best. It’s a kid friendly area. So it’s a place to suggest

We had been here for team lunch to have some good food.

Beautiful place, lavish spread of buffet. One of the best buffet with all different cuisines in Hyderabad. It's truly worth it.

The ambience here is very warm & peaceful. Each dish is better than other.

Overall experience was great.

Superb breakfast spread. Live counters for Waffles, Omlettes, Parathas, Dosa, Filter coffee. I loved their Waffles. Service is nice and prompt too. If you are staying in Westin, no matter what don’t miss the breakfast!

Really an awesome buffet place. Had been here couple of times. Varieties and tastes both are amazing and very hygienic even for toddlers. It’s truly worth it!

Went to this place for dinner buffet
After reading many overrated reviews decided to go there
Guys really it's an overrated restro
I wonder whether people go to a restaurant to taste good food or to just look at many items and satisfy their appetite
There's a vast spread of items but only some of them are good
They serve many varieties of chat which are not that good
And their dessert section is some what eatable
If you want an eye feast go for it but not for tasty food
Food 3/5
Ambience 4/5
Value for money 3/5

Update 6/1 - Visited for dinner buffet for a birthday celebration! Most of the food was cold, not expected from Westin! Didn’t feel welcome! Both lunch and dinner buffet don’t impress as much as breakfast buffet. Marriott Bonvoy member still gets 20% off which is great but they need to amp up their game if they want to justify premium pricing. Taking a star off 4/5

*******************

I have visited this restaurant for breakfast buffet (it’s one of the best spread btw!) and since then I was looking for an opportunity to come for lunch here. I visited this place last Saturday and restaurant was fairly empty (to my surprise). Food spread is good. It covers multiple cuisines. You need to get up self serve as there’s no table service other than Indian bread. Desserts were really good. Likes the salad options as well. Overall must go if you want to try out multiple cuisines in good setting. SPG members get 20% discount! 4.5/5

Amazing place, I visited this place for lunch buffet. Guys You have to loose your pocket to tight your tummy😂🤗 they are having so much of varieties on main course and desserts with yummy taste. Staff is very polite and we'll disciplined. I would like to visit this place once again and I also want to suggest to my friends to be at this place for one royal Buffet.

Chef Shivam was very helpful. He helped me a lot in getting the best varieties food items . He is a polite person and kind hearted . It’s very difficult to find such excellent chef like him . He gave me and my family a 10 star service!!!💯💯

I couldn't believe after seeing so many good reviews i had been there today and it was really not worth. Food was not tasty and hot also. Sometimes when i compare my experience with the reviews i am thinking did i really eat at seasonal tastes. Apart from veg biriyani nothing was good i can say. I am glad i didn't have to pay for it which i would have regretted.
